        Seasonal and vertical distributions of dissolved and particulate organic carbon were investigated from May 1995 to March 1997 in n deep mesotrophic reservoir, Lake Soyang, POC contentrations at the dam site ranged from 0.1 to 1.8 mgC/L and DOC concentrations ranged from 1.4 to 4.9 mgC/L. POC concentrations in the surface layer were higher in the season of cyanobacterial bloom, July to September. High POC was observed at the depth of 30 to 60m after storm runoff in summer monsoon season. Turbid storm runoff formed intermediate current laden with much particulate materials from terrestrial sources. The vertical and seasonal variation of DOC was smaller than POC. Higher DOC was observed near the lake bottom which implies sedimentation and degradation of much organic detritus at the bottom. The ratio of DOC : POC varied from 2 to 60, and the ratio was lowest in September 1995 when algal density was highest. DOC : POC ratio of the main inflowing river, the Soyang River, varied from 1 to 10, and the ratio was low in storm runoff when the POC concentration was high.

        위절제술 환자의 표준진료지침 개발 및 적용 효과

        Background : Gastric cancer is the most common malignant tumor in Korea. surgical operation is one of the major treatment modalities for gastric cancer patients. Therefore, gastrectomy is one of the most common procedures in General Surgery. There were variation in length of hospital stay and medical treatment for gastrectomy between three surgeons at Asan Medical Center. Clinical pathways have received considerable attention as a tool for recucing the medical practice variation, increasing the efficiency of care process, and improving the quality of care. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of a clinical pathway for gastrectomy in gastric cancer patients. Methods : The clinical pathway for gastrectomy was developed and implemented by a multidisciplinary group in Asan Medical Center. A computerized clinical pathway program was developed and revised after a pilot test. A total of 145 patients underwent gastrectomy by three surgeons at Asan Medical Center. We compared the length of hospital stay, patient satisfaction, and unplanned readmission rate between the pre-pathway group(n=67) and the post-pathway group(n=78). We also investigated the degree of satisfaction among the physicians and nurses who were main end-users of the clinical pathway. Results : The clinical pathway was applied to all target patients. The average length of hospital stay was shortened from 12.7days to 10.6days(p<0.01). The degree of patient satisfaction with the care process changed from 90.3% to 89.2% after the implementation of the clinical pathway, but the difference was of satistically significant(p=0.761). Unplanned readmission rate was 2.9% in the pre-pathway group. More than 90% of physicians and nurses answered that the clinical pathway had been a useful tool in their medical practice. Conclusions : The findings of the study demonstrated that implementation of the clinical pathway for gastrectomy produced substantial reduction in the length of hospital stay while improving the quality of patient outcomes. The computerized clinical pathway program can be used as one of the powerful patient management tools for reducing the practice variations and increasing the efficiency of care process in Korea hospital settings.

      • 기계적 합금화로 제조한 half-Heusler ZrNiSn1-xSbx 합금에서의 캐리어 이동 특성

        Half-heusler ZrNiSn1-xSbx (0.02≤x≤0.08) alloys were prepared by mechanical alloying of elemental powders, and consolidated by vacuum hot pressing. Single phase of the Sb doped ZrNiSn was successfully produced in all doping ranges without subsequent annealing. Phase transformations during mechanical alloying and hot consolidation were investigated using XRD and SEM. Thermoelectric properties as functions of temperature and Sb contents were evaluated for hot pressed specimens. Their doping effect on the thermoelectric and the transport properties were examined. The Hall and Seebeck coefficients confirmed that all the Sb doped compositions exhibited n-type conduction. Relatively high carrier concentration and medium mobility were observed. Sb doping up to x=0.04 in ZrNiSn1-xSbx was shown to be effective on thermoelectric properties, and the figure of merit (ZT) was shown to reach to the maximum at x=0.02 in this study.

        Half-heusler TiCoSb1-xSnx (0.00≤x≤0.05) alloys were prepared by mechanical alloying of elemental powders, and consolidated by vacuum hot pressing. Phase transformations during mechanical alloying and hot consolidation were investigated using XRD and SEM. Single phase of Half-heusler phases were successfully produced in all doping ranges in as-milled state, but a little fraction of CoSb phase appeared after hot pressing. The process can be an alternative processing route for the synthesis of thermoelectric Half-heusler compounds.

        Thermoelectric Zn4Sb3 bulk specimens were produced by mechanical alloying using elemental powders and consolidated by hot pressing. Single phase Zn4Sb3 was not obtained using a nominal stoichiometric composition, but near single phase Zn4Sb3 with remnant elemental Zn having a relatively high density was produced using a nominally 11.7 at.% Zn rich powders. Phase transformations during mechanical alloying were systematically investigated using XRD and SEM.

        The main object of this thesis is to analyze the effectivness tax-supporting system using the concept of effective tax rate. From the previous research & tax law, here I analyze the relation between 6 variables and tax burden. From the tax law, export rate, R&D, capital-intensity variables, and from the previous research, firm size, debt ratio, the rate of profit growth variables are selected. Using the tax burden & the variables selected above, following basic model is designed. ETR=α+β_(1)ED+β_(2)CI+β_(3)RD+β_(4)SI+β_(5)DR+β_(6)PG+ε ED:dependence of export CI: capital intensity RD: R & D ratio SI:firm size DR:debt ratio PG:ratio of profit growth As a result of the test on listed corporates, industrial sector reggression, and it's ANOVA, following conclusions are summarized. 1. As a result of regression on listed corporate, it has been proved significant debt ratio, ratio of profit growth on controlling varaibles. Also, it showed significant R & D ratio, export dependence on tax support variables 2. The tax-supporting system on listed corporate has a significant result. Among the variables, especially R&D variables is most frequently used by listed corporates. 3. Indirectly, It shows that the listed corporates of our country smooths it's income

        많은 기업들이 고객, 공급업체, 경쟁업체 등과의 제휴를 확장하고 있다. 이들은 제품의 부가가치 증대, 원가감축, 고객서비스 증대, 시장접근 확장, 기술력 확장 등을 제휴의 근본적인 원인으로 제시하고 있다(Treacy, et al., 1992). 더불어 정보기술은 과거 조직 내의 컴퓨팅에서 조직과 조직을 연계시키는 컴퓨팅으로 발전되었다. 특히 인터넷의 성장, 개방시스템, 표준화에 따르는 정보기술은 조직과 조직의 연계를 과거 어느 때 보다도 더 수월하게 이룩할 수 있다. 과거에도 제휴는 중요했지만 이제는 가상기업을 표방하는 기업들이 증가함에 따라 다음과 같은 이유로 정보기술을 이용한 제휴는 더욱 중요해지고 있다. 첫째, 제휴를 성공적으로 이끌기 위해서는 업무방식의 통합이 필요하며 이를 정보기술로 구현하는 것이 중요하게 되었다. 시스코 시스템즈(Cisco Systems)는 공급업체와의 업무방식 통합을 통해 고객의 수요에 신속하고 정확하게 대응할 수 있었다. 즉, 공급업체들은 시스코의 정보시스템을 통해 고객의 주문을 확인하고 생산기획을 작성하고 있다. 또한, 공급업체들은 정보기술을 이용한 시스코의 품질관리 시스템을 사용함으로써 시스코 종업원의 감독 없이도 시스코가 추구하는 품질을 만족시킬 수 있었다. 둘째, 정보기술을 위한 제휴가 증가하고 있다. 최근 들어, 동선업체, 케이블 텔레비전 운영회사, 멀티 미디어 제조업체, 컨덴츠(Contents)제작업체, 컴퓨터 벤더 등의 제휴가 증가하고 있다. 최첨단 하이테크 업체들에서는 빠른 상품개발이 중요하며, 이를 위해서는 정보통신 인프라가 신속하게 구축되어야 한다. 단독으로 정보기술의 컨텐츠, 소프트웨어, 하드웨어 등을 구현하기 어렵기 때문에 제휴가 필요하게 되었다. 셋째, 아웃소싱과 가상기업을 표방하는 기업이 증가함에 따라 제휴는 업무방식의 일환으로 자리잡게 되었다. 게이트웨이는 유통을 신속하고 정확하게 하기 위해 택배업체인 UPS와 제휴해서 고객에게 컴퓨터를 배달하고 있다. 유통업무는 게이트웨이의 핵심업무가 아니기 때문에 유통업무를 더 탁월하게 수행하는 UPS에게 아웃소싱을 준 것이다. 고객은 UPS가 배달하는 것인가, 게이트웨이가 배달하는 것인가에는 관심이 없으며, 약속된 시간에 배달되는가에만 관심이 있으므로, 게이트웨이가 반드시 유통업무를 담당해야 하는 이유가 없다. Exponential Growth of Internet, open systems, standardized information technology has made strategic alliance more easily. Strategic alliance has been always important. However, as many corporations adopt virtual corporations as an emerging strategy, using information technology for strategic alliance becomes more important than ever. In past strategic alliance was deployed from the perspective of efficiency. But strategic alliance should be deployed from the perspective of the customer. That is, strategic alliance should be leveraged to improve the performance of the customer. In addition, information technology can be employed to automate transactions, to trigger other transactions, to integrate processes, and to establish virtual corporations.
