      • 황련해독탕 및 귀비탕의 발효 전후 혈소판 응집 억제 효과에 대한 비교 연구

        Recently interest of fermented oriental medicines is increasing for the purpose of disease prevention. Hwangryunghaedok-tang (HR) and Guibi-tang (GB) are widely used oriental medicines in Korea. HR and GB are well known for anti-inflammatory and anti-stress effect. Glycosides in herbal medicines are transformed to aglycone via fermentation. The fermented medicines are absorbed more and have less individual variation. In this study, HR and GB were compared before and after fermentation by anti-platelet aggregation effect. HR and GB were fermented by various lactobacillus species. The anti-platelet aggregation effect of HR and GB were measured using aggregometer by optical method. Collagen (4 μg/mL) was used as a inducer of platelet aggregation. After measuring anti-platelet aggregation effect, we analysed the data using WinnonlinⓇ program to fit simple Emax model. Then Emax and EC50 values were estimated. In results, GB had little antiplatelet effects. Emax of 5 GB samples (127, 164, 402, 442, 3163) were estimated near zero and others (129, 144, 166, 693, 744) had high EC50 values (> 1500 μg/mL). In contrast with GB, HR had antiplatelet effects. HR which was fermented by Lactobacillus casei and Lactobacillus plantarum (HR-127,HR-144) were most effective sample. Emax and EC50 of HR-127 and HR-144 was 99.99%, 174.73 μg/mL and 100.00% 160.48 μg/mL, respectively. These results indicated that Guibi-tang was inappropriate as anti-platelet aggregation agent and Hwangryunhaedok-tang would be more effective after fermentation as anti-platelet aggregation agent, warranting further study.

      • 국내외 현황 파악을 통한 국내 소아용 의약품의 안전성.유효성 평가제도 개선 방안

        Recently it has been noticed that pharmacokinetics / Pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) properties of drug in the pediatric population are different from those in adults. Clinical trials that considering age-specific properties and characteristics should be performed and safety and efficacy are established based on the clinical trials. FDA and EMEAs exists in developed countries especially America and Europe due to which there are proper guidelines for pediatric patients. However, in Korea, there doesn’t exist any guidelines and the study is focused regarding it. This study aimed to analyze the current state of safety and efficacy assessment of pediatric drug by foreingn drug regulatory agencies and suggest the regulatory methods for Korea based on FDA and EMEA guidelines and regulatory. MEDLINE and foreign drug regulatory agency database were extensively searched to obtain scientific research articles, guidance, regulations and pediatric drug review reports on foreign pediatric drug evaluation system.

        Rosin-alum sizing has been very important in papermaking since it was developed by Morits lllig in 1807. But effect of alum is varied by pH condition very significantly. Therefore rosin sizing has limited in acid condition. So cellulose reactive sizing agents were developed and used papermaking industry. But they have so many problems and concern for rosin sizing in neutral pH condition is increased. In this study, we attempt to confirm the possibility of rosin sizing in neutral pH condition with cupric ion and C-PAM as mordant.

      • 越鞠丸合補中益氣湯이 電氣刺戟스트레스를 받은 mouse의 免疫機能에 미치는 影響

        본 실험은 越鞠丸合補中益氣湯의 항스트레효과를 조사하기 위하여 시행되었다. 越鞠丸合補中益氣湯이 전기자극으로 스트레스 상황을 유발시킨 mouse에게 끼친 B 임파구 면역계 변화를 mouse 혈청의 綿羊赤血球에 대한 적혈구 응집소가와 비장세포에서 B 세포 및 T 세포가 차지하는 백분율의 변화를 통하여 측정하였으며 이를 대조군과 비교 분석하였다. 혈청 항체가의 측정에서 스트레스 자극하에서 越鞠丸合補中益氣湯을 투여받은 그룹에서 약제를 투여받지 않은 그룹에 비하여 유의성 있는 차이를 보여(p<0.01) 면역 기능을 정상군의 수준으로 유지하는 결과를 얻었다. T 세포와 B 세포의 백분율의 측정에서도 스트레스 자극하에서 越鞠丸合補中益氣湯을 투여 받은 그룹에서 약제를 투여 받지 않은 그룹에 비하여 유의성 있는 차이를 보여(p,0.01) 면역 기능을 정상군의 수준으로 유지하는 결과를 얻었다. 실험결과들로 보아 越鞠丸合補中益氣湯이 체액성 면역 반응과 비장 내 면역 세포의 백분율을 정상의 수준으로 유지하는 효과를 보여 면역 기능의 이상에 응용할 수 있는 가능성을 제시한다고 사료된다. The present experiments were designed to study the influence of Walgookwhanhab-Bojoongikgitang on immune functions of Balb/c mice under stress condition. Walgookwhanhab-Bojoongikgitang was orally administered to the mice for 15 days. On the 10th day the mice were immunized with sheep red blood cells (SRBC) and then subjected to electric footshock for 5 days (2 sessions a day, 11 footshocks a 31 min-session). The immune responses to SRBC were determined by means of hemagglutination and B / T cell populations in the spleen were studied by FACS analysis on the 16th day. The results were as follows. 1. After electric footshock, mice became sluggish and crowded to one side of the cage. Increased antibody titer for SRBC, increased B cell population, and decreased 7 cell population in the spleen were also observed. These results confirm that electric footshock caused stress inducing immunological and behavioral changes in Balb/c mice. 2. Walgookwhanhab-Bojoongikgitang administration significantly antagonized the effect of electric footshock on the antibody titer for SRBC. As a result, antibody titers for SRBC in the mice treated with Walgookwhanga-Bojoongikgitang were maintained at the similar levels as those of control group mice even after the electric footshock. 3. Walgookwhanhab-Bojoongikgitang administration also antagonized the effect of electric footshock on the B / T populations in spleen. As a result, B and T populations in the mice treated with Walgookwhanhab-Bojoongikgitang were maintained at the similar levels as in the control group mice even after the electric footshock. Taken together, M algookwhanhab-Bojoongikgitang seem to help Balb/c mice to maintain their humoral immune response and immune cell populations at a normal range under the stress conditions, suggesting its possible therapeutic use as a immune function modulator.

      • 마이크로 팩토리를 위한 방전 가공 시스템 개발

        마이크로 팩토리 시스템에서 마이크로 방전 가공 시스템은 많은 장점을 가진다. 전통적인 가공 시스템과 달리 비접촉 가공 방식이기 때문에 소형화에 따른 강성저하 문제에서 자유로우며, 정밀 가공이 가능하다. 그러나 방전가공에서 사용하는 전극에서, 가공 중 발생하는 마모 문제는 생산성뿐만 아니라 가공 정밀도를 떨어뜨리는 문제를 발생시킨다. 이번 연구에서는 전극의 마모 문제를 보완할 수 있는 방전 드릴링 가공과 밀링 가공에서의 공정 제어기법을 제안하였다. 또한, 마이크로 팩토리 용 테스트베드의 방전 가공 모듈로 디스크형 미세 전극 드레싱 가공 시스템, 자동 공구 교환 장치 시스템, 소형 유체 순환 시스템 등도 개발하였다.

      • 뷰캐넌의 클럽재이론에 관한 연구 : Emphasis on Pareto Optimality Condition 파레토최적조건을 중심으로

        Following its conclusion in Readings in Microeconomics, Professor Buchanan's seminal paper on the economic theory of clubs can now be regarded as a standard reference. The purpose of this paper is to provide an alternative analysis of the theory of clubs which, it is believed, will overcome some of the shortcomings of Buchanan's analysis. In this paper, we have to include another set of variables, the number of clubs, into our maximization ploblems. However, this is not necessary, as we can interpret a new club for same good as the consumption of a new good. It can easily be seen that our analysis is applicable even if the number of clubs exceeds one. While Buchanan's condition is satisfied only for certain numbers of individuals, the analysis of this paper is applicable to any number of individuals, whether with identical or with different tastes, and even to cases where some individuals may choose to belong to two or more clubs.

        골신전술을 이용한 하악 치조골 증대술

        Distraction osteogenesis (DO) is a surgical process for reconstruction of combined deficiencies in bone and soft tissue. It involves gradual, controlled displacement of surgically created fractures which results in simultaneous expansion of soft tissue and bone volume. Due to the late introduction of healing by DO in the field of odontology, alveolar DO is increased. The process of alveolar DO involves osteotomy in the area of deficiency, fixation of a healthy segment of bone adjacent the deficient site, transport, and maintenance of newly formed bone. After a 7- or 10-day latency period for soft tissue healing, distraction is performed at the rate of 0.5㎜ twice a day fully to 7㎜. The distractor is then maintained for consolidation after distraction for 10- to 12 weeks. After consolidation, the distractor is removed. Improvement of vertical bone regeneration was achieved in all cases. The resultant distraction zone is filled with natural bone, consistent with the distraction osteogenesis concept. This results in mature cortical bone at the crest for enhanced implant stability and prosthodontic treatment.

        구강 연조직 병소의 Nd:YAG laser를 이용한 치료 : 임상 증례보고 CLINICAL CASE REPORTS

        The neodymium:yttrium-aluminum-garnet (Nd:YAG) laser is most widely used for treatment of lesions affecting the oral mucosa. A pulsed Nd:YAG laser (SDL-300EN, Samsung Electronics, Korea) with a wavelength of 1.32㎛ was used. In all cases, contact mode was used. Four cases of soft tissue oral lesions are presented to document the clinical aspects. Surgery proceeded without complication and healing was uneventful. This study indicate that the Nd:YAG laser can be used successfully for intraoral soft tissue applications are well tolerated and minimal bleeding.
