Gaussian type models have limitations on predicting a detailed description of the near flow and pollution leads over complex terrains under neutral atmospheric conditions. Also, most models used recently have lack of ability to include atmospheric reactions. The model based on the numerical solution of the time-averaged Navier-Stokes equations and conservation equations needs to be developed to improve the limitations mentioned above. When the model was applied to the Shihwa area where the tracer experiment had been carried out, the simulation results have a great difference from the experimental result. There are two reasons that make the difference between the results by the model and the experiment First, the Shihwa area is not a complex terrain. Second, meteorological data is insufficient. Therefore, the model should be applied to predict they dispersion of air pollutants over complex terrain rather than flat terrain in order that the model could be verified because the model was developed for the prediction of the dispersion over a complex terrain.

We report herein a case of smooth muscle hamartoma associated with Beckers nevus in a 5-year-old female. The child presented with a slight.ly brownish. 2 x 3 cm sized, pigmentecl patch with follicular accentuation on the right forearm, witch had been observecl since age of 2. Histopathologic findings showed the epidermal changes most consistent with Becker's nevus and the presence of irregularly arranged hyperplastic smooth muscle hundless in the dermis. 만성 요통 환자의 침 치료 경험(2): 질적 연구 -무작위 대조군 연구 피험자를 대상으로

Objectives: To explore the experiences of patients with chronic low back pain(CLBP) in a randomized controlled trial(RCT) of acupuncture. Methods: Five qualitative focus group interviews were conducted at three Korean Medicine Hospitals. Two to 4 participants from the same group(real or sham acupuncture) in the RCT of acupuncture for CLBP discussed their experiences and perceptions of the clinical trial and the acupuncture treatment. Transcribed data were read independently by researchers and analyzed to categorize information and identify themes. Results: A total of 14 participants were included. Most of them discovered positive aspects of being a study subject and a patient. They recognized the differences between experimental and real-world clinical settings such as formal procedures of treatment, and different acupuncture device. Participants also expressed the weaker sensation of acupuncture compared to the previous experience. Especially, they were well aware of the ``subjects`` role themselves, thus they observed their changes of symptom closely. As subjects were generally satisfied with their treatment and they had a good feeling to acupuncture after the trial, they expressed their willingness to participate in the future clinical trial of acupuncture. Conclusions: Our finding suggests that the Korean patients` experience of participating in an RCT was generally positive. Their tendency to perform the ``subject`` role might affect the trial`s process or overall results.

This study investigated the high temperature oxidation behavior of Fe-22%Cr-5.8%Al alloy and the oxidation kinetics of the alloy were discussed. Bulk samples were prepared by VAM (vacuum arc melting) and hot forging. High temperature oxidation testes were isothermally conducted up to 100 hours in 79%N₂+ 21%O₂ environment at three different temperatures (900℃, 1000℃, 1100℃). The weight gain was measured after oxidation according to oxidation time (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 60, 80, 100 hours). The weight gain significantly increased with increasing oxidation temperature. As the temperature increased, the oxidized samples showed sequential formation of Al₂O₃, Cr-rich oxide, Fe-rich oxide. The activation energy of high temperature oxidation was obtained as 306.63 KJ/㏖. Al₂O₃ were developed on the surface in the early stage of oxidation, representing protective role of oxidation. However, Fe-based and Cr-based oxides leaded to breakaway of oxide layer, thus resulted in the significant increase of additional oxidation.
Effect of Pore Size on the High Temperature Oxidation of Ni-Fe-Cr-Al Porous Metal

This study investigated the effect of the pore size of Ni-22.4%Fe-22%Cr-6%Al porous metal on its hightemperature oxidation. Two types of open porous metals with pore sizes of 800 μm and 580 μm were used. A 24-hour isothermal oxidation test was conducted at three different temperatures of 900 °C, 1000 °C, and 1100 °C under a 79% N_2 + 21% O2 atmosphere. The results of the BET analysis revealed that the specific surface area increased as the pore size decreased from 800 μm to 580 μm. The high- temperature oxidation results showed that porous metals exhibited far lower levels of oxidation resistance compared with bulk metals,and that the oxidation resistance of porous metals decreased with a decreasing pore size. According to the microstructural observations of the oxide layers, the 900 °C and 1000 °C oxidation layer contained Ni, Cr,and Al oxides mainly on the strut. The 800 μm porous metal strut exhibited similar oxidation behavior at 1100 °C to that found at lower temperatures. In contrast, the 580 μm porous metal strut was found to consist of Ni and Fe oxides in the upper layer and Ni, Cr, and Al oxides in the lower layer, representing a low oxidation resistance. For powders affixed to the strut inside the porous metal, a different oxide-forming behavior from that of the strut was observed. In addition, the Ni-Fe-Cr-Al porous metal high- temperature oxidation microscopic mechanism is also discussed.

This study were conducted to select disease resistance soybean cultivars against frogeye leaf spot disease and to develop an effective pathogenicity test method using soybean seedling. Additionally, another goal of this study is to investigate the response of soybean in term of growth and yield against various severities of frogeye leaf spot disease. Twenty one fungal strains were isolated by the pathogenicity test using developing soybean leaves inoculated with Cercospora sojina in 2005 and 2006. Among twenty one isolates used in this study, six isolates were selected considering collected according to area and cultivars. Among 26 cultivars Bogwang, Geomjeong 4, Jangwon, Sinpaldal 2 showed resistance against frogeye leaf spot in result pathogenicity test of six isolates. Pathogenicity test was carried with several different stages of soybean leaves; from early seedling stage to late growth stages. The soybean leaves at early seedling stage was most suitable. We surveyed soybean quantity by disease severity of frogeye leaf spot. The severity symptom were graded by relative severances as 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 from lightest to worst. The yield of soybean along with their relative severance of frogeye leaf spot disease were 244, 188, 168, 150 and 143kg/10a respectively.
