Learning Strategies in Second Language Acquisition. 언어연구, 17-1, 353-370. 언어학습책략에 관한 연구는 제2언어습득에 있어서의 책략적인 관점을 이해하는데 많은 도움을 주기 때문에, 이론적이고도 경험적인 관점에서 언어학습책략의 역할에 관한 설명이 매우 필요하다. 개별 학습자가 언어를 습득할 때 서로 다른 인지적인 학습책략을 사용한다는 많은 증거가 있기 때문에 제2언어를 가르치는 교사들에 개 있어서 학습자들이 사용하는 학습책략에 대한 이해는 필수적이다. 본 논문의 목적은 제2언어습득에 있어서 최근의 인지심리학 이론에서 이루어진 이론적인 발전을 근거로 한 학습책략이론을 살펴보는 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 언어학습책략에 대한 정의, 유형, 연구방법, 교육적인 측면에 있어서의 언어학습책략의 중요성과 활용, 그리고 앞으로의 연구과제 등에 대해 살펴본다. Beyond the target of scientific researches, meditation is now one ofthe main tools for palliative and integrative medicine in Westem society. Despite theof valuable heritages of meditation in Korea, meditation is not considered to have clinical implications as in Westem medical society. It is partly due to the fact that while the mysterious aspect of meditation has been emphasized, a large number of scientific researches on meditation had not been known to Korean medical society. The authors reviewed several studies that examined the clinical effect of meditation and speculated its possibility as a method of clinical intervention.

Pyogenic granuloma is a benign vascular, inflammatory proliferation that appears following minor trauma in children and young adults. The exact pathogenesis of pyogenic granuloma is unknown, but its formation is closely related to minor trauma, chronic irritation, and hormonal influences. A 52-year old woman visited us with a protruding nodule on the right zygoma area. The nodule was pedunculatedby trauma of tied up nevus. Based on the histological finding, we diagnosed post-traumatic pyogenic granuloma like lesion developed within melanocytic nevus.

철근콘크리트 보의 전단에 대한 역학적 거동에 관한 연구

The shear capacity of reinforced concrete beams is characterized by various parameters as the strength of concrete, the shear-span ratio, the strength of shear reinforcement etc. Sixteen specimens were tested with those variables. All specimens showed the shear failure mode to accompany the diagonal shear cracks or the flexural failure. Through the experimental works, it was evidenced that the shear strength depends on the strength of concrete, the shear-span ratio, the confinement index including the strength and spacing of shear reinforcement bars etc. Although part of test results could not distinct the effects of test variables due to the yielding of longitudinal bars, it was shown that they almost satisfy the ACI code except several specimens confined by high-strength shear bars.

고정화 균체를 이용한 2,5-Diketo-Gluconic Acid 발효생산

고정화 균체를 이용하여 비타민C 합성의 주요 중간체인 2,5-diketo-gluconic acid (2,5-DKG)를 효율적으로 생산하기 위하여 glucose로부터 2,5-DKG로의 발효반응 특성의 분석 및 효율적인 고정화균체의 발효공정을 개발하고자 하였다. Ca-alginate로 고정화된 균체를 2,5-DKG 생산에 이용할 때 고정화 담체내로의 기질의 diffusion 저해가 관찰되었고, 이러한 현상은 담체의 지름이 2 mm에서 다소 완화되어 가장 높은 2,5-DKG 수율이 얻어졌다. 고정화 균체의 장기적인 활성 유지는 질소원으로 polypeptone만을 1.75%(w/v) 첨가하여 가능하였다. 고정화균체를 충진한 fluidized bubble column 반응기에서 공기공급속도 6vvm으로 repeated batch fermentation를 6회 반복 수행하여도 균체의 활성이 유지되었으며, 80 mol% 이상의 수율로 2,5-DKG 생산이 가능하였다. For the efficient production of 2,5-diketo-gluconic acid (2,5-DKG) by the immobilized cell reactor was developed. The immobilized cell appeared to have diffusion limitation, and a maximum production of 2.4-DKG was accomplished with 2 mm diameters of immobilized beads. Long-term stabilities of the immobilized cells could be maintained by addition of 1.75% (w/v) polypeptone. Repeated batch fermentations with about 80 mol% of 2.5-DKG yields were carried out six times in the fluidized bubble column reactors filled with immobilized cells at an aeration rate of 6 vvm.

선형구름베어링의 구름접촉특성에 관한 연구

In order to make the mechanism of rolling friction clear, a test apparatus by which the rolling friction between a roller and a plate could be measured accurately was arranged. In this paper, contact behaviors and decrement characteristics of the roller bearing are studied between the pair of linear way bearing and plate. The following results are obtained by using THK LR2565 linear way bearing. 1) The rolling friction force fp increases with the increments of surface roughness Ra and normal load P. The linear way bearing arrayed rollers are effected by damping characteristic on the lubricate condition. 2) Theoretical curves of the logarithmic decrement λ vs. rolling displacement x are a good agreement with experimental curves. The logarithmic decrement λ has maximum value at ξ>1 and decreases on the increment of the dimensionless variable G with damping characteristic. But on this experiment it showed a tendency of irregular characteristic by the collision of rollers. 3) Therefore dimensionless variable G is important element of rolling friction force and logarithmic decrement.

한국인의 제2언어 습득에 있어서 결속 매개변항에 관한연구 : 영어의 재귀사를 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to investigate binding parameters between Korean and English and the acquisition of English anaphors by Korean EFL students. Korean anaphors can be bound to long-distance antecedents but English reflexives and reciprocals must be bound to local ones. Since the relevant parameter is different, when Korean learn English reflexives and reciprocals, the initial state of Korean EFL learners may use Korean parametric value to interpret English anaphors. While they are being exposed to linguistic input for English, they finally learn the parametric value which the target language has. How does such change in a parametric value occur? L2 learners can access to UG resetting the GCP to its L2 value. I performed an experiment in this study in order to know how Korean adult learners of English reset parameters of Korean anaphors to those of English. The result of this experiment shows that all subject groups can reset the parameters of Korean anaphors to the English value. These findings suggest that parameter resetting actually occurs during the course of second language acquisition. This study also shows some suggestions for Korean EFL classrooms with concrete examples and for future studies on UG availability for Korean EFL learners.

In this study, a fiber-optic bundle sensor has been developed using water-equivalent organic scintillating fibers for photon beam measurement. Beam penumbra and percent depth doses(PDD) are measured according to the depth of the photon beam. This sensor has many advantages such as high resolution, real-time measurement and ease of calibration over conventional radiation measurement devices.

Pilomatricoma, often called calcifying epithelioma of Malherbe, is a tumor with differentiation toward hair cells, particularly hair matrix cells. It presents as a firm, deep-seated nodule that is covered by normal or pink skin. It is occuring usually as a single lesion which is most commonly found on the face, neck, or proximal upper extremity. Multiple lesions are quite unusual, comprising only 2-3.5% of cases. A 32-year old man had 3 subcutaneous nodules on the both upper extremities. Histological findings of the lesion showed the typical pattern of pilomatricoma. We presented herein one case of multiple pilomatricoma with the review of literatures.
