Random vibration analysis of train-slab track-bridge coupling system under earthquakes

This study aimed to investigate the random vibration characteristic of train-slab track-bridge interaction system subjected to both track irregularities and earthquakes by use of pseudo-excitation method (PEM). Each vehicle subsystem was modeled by multibody dynamics. A three-dimensional rail-slabgirder-pier finite element model was created to simulate slab track and bridge subsystem. The equations of motion for the entire system were established based on the constraint condition of no jump between wheel and rail. The random load vectors of equations of motion were formulated by transforming track irregularities and seismic accelerations into a series of deterministic pseudo-excitations according to their respective power spectral density (PSD) functions by means of PEM. The time-dependent PSDs of random vibration responses of the system were obtained by step-by-step integration method, and the corresponding extreme values were estimated based on the first-passage failure criterion. As a case study, an ICE3 high-speed train passing a fifteen-span simply supported girder bridge simultaneously excited by track irregularities and earthquakes is presented. The evaluated extreme values and the PSD characteristic of the random vibration responses of bridge and train are analyzed, and the influences of train speed and track irregularities (without earthquakes) on the random vibration characteristic of bridge and train are discussed.

Using a fix-effect modelling method. this study investigates the effect of foreign bank entry on the performance of indigenous banks in China during the post-deregulation period 1996-2004 Contrary to the results of Claessens' etal (2001). this research shows that it is the loss of market share (as measured by the ratio foreign bank assets to China's entire bank assets rather than the increase of bank branches which has a greater effect on ('hina's domestic hank Moreover our results support the view of Lensink and Hermes (2004) that as China's banking sector is not well developed. domestic banks have incurred higher costs and margins when learning banking techniques and practices from foreign banks due to the spill-over effect. As a result. China's domestic banks may transfer their implementation costs to their consumers or clients by raising margins and thus gaining higher profit. It is therefore difficult to draw a conclusion as to whether the foreign bank entry has enhanced the competitiveness of Chinese domestic hanks and thus improved the efficiency of financial sector

Aiming at the most enhancing the catalytic performance of simple and cheap cobalt(II) 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4-pyridyl)porphyrin (Co TPyP), guided by the nowadays-advanced various technologies, Co TPyP wasanchored onto nanoporous bar with thiol-functionalized silica (npb-SiO2-SH). The resulting npb-SiO2-SCoTPyP catalyst was characterized using various techniques, determining its structure. The total surfacearea ratios (TSAR) of the immobilized cobalt porphyrin to the npb-SiO2-SH, and the catalytic cyclohexaneoxidation reaction conditions were at the same time optimized via Response Surface Methodology(RSM). Compared with those obtained from traditional optimizing method (TOM), on average, RSM couldenhance as high as more than 60% catalyst turnover frequency (TOF) and yields of cyclohexanone andcyclohexanol (KA oil). The anchored 0.05 mg Co TPyP could catalyze the oxidation of 200 mL ofcyclohexane, under not using any solvents and additives, offering 2.5106 1/h of TOF, and 19% of yields. Abundance of the yeast-like symbiote (YLS) in brown planthopper (BPH), Nilaparvata lugens Stl, collected from rice fields in China and obtained from International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), was monitored. The role of YLS in nymph survival rate, development and adult reproduction, and activities of transaminases in BPH on different resistant rice varieties were examined. Also, the relationship between YLS and virulence shifts of BPH to resistant rice varieties was discussed. The results indicated that the virulence of BPH populations to resistant rice varieties was strongly related to the abundance of YLS in 5th instar nymphs and brachypterous females of BPH field populations at Nanning in South China and Hangzhou in East China, showing the more abundance of YLS in BPH, the higher virulence of BPH to resistant rice varieties, while no obvious differences in YLS abundance were monitored between three BPH biotypes. Numbers of YLS reduced significantly in female adult of BPH biotype 1 fed on resistant rice varieties IR26, Mudgo and ASD7, compared with that fed on susceptible rice variety TN1. The lowest YLS abundance of BPH from field population was found in 2nd generation successively fed on resistant varieties, and the number of YLS was resumed at 4th generation when the BPH has adapted the resistant varieties. The markedly lower nymphal survival rate, adult fecundity and activities of alanine and aspartic transminase, and significantly longer nymph duration in the three aposymbiotic biotypes than in the symbiotic ones were recorded on both susceptible and resistant rice varieties. However, the much greater differences between aposymbiotic and symbiotic BPH were found on the inadaptable resistant rice varieties than that on the fitness resistant rice varieties. Those results implied that YLS in BPH should play a crucial role in the virulent shift of BPH populations to resistant rice varieties.
Research on Application of Hierarchical Trust Mechanism in Internet of Things

In order to determine the conditions for the application of the dynamic authorization problem in the Internet of things, a reliable trust mechanism must be established between the institution, the reader and the tag. Thus, this paper proposes a hierarchical trust mechanism, and puts forward a verifiable caching interaction digest schema at the same time. At first, this paper analyzes the features of the application and the trust demands of different subjects in the Internet of things, the credibility of the detaching mechanism and the reader trust. Then, it proposes the improved method of evidence theory accoording to the characteristics of the readers, which can deduce the routing trust of the reader. The experimental results show that the hierarchical trust mechanism has a very good convergence of trust, and the algorithm in this paper can effectively detect the malicious terminal nodes.
