The purpose of this study is to examine feminine images in music work in terms of a feministic viewpoint. The primary works of this study are "La Traviata," "Carmen" and "Madam Butterfly" because this operas have close relationship with the idea of gender and sexuality. This study investigates women s position in the music history and women s image in music work. In order to do so, this study adopts the position of feminism as a approach. On the basis of this approach, it explores women s image and woman-making process in music work. Women's image is traditionally divided into two parts by man: a good woman and a bad woman. While a good woman is obedient, weak, passive and pure, a bad woman is regarded as strong, positive and liberal. Man have had the necessity to make her obedient in order to oppress her. Thus A bad woman has on her shoulder a dishonor called sinister by man. This fact is true of musical expression. man is conventionally representative of big sound, powerful rhythm, and jumped steps, while a woman expresses lyric melody, very simple rhythm and so on. If this fact is applied to operas, M. Butterfly and Violette have tendency to follow the traditional image of a woman, while Carmen departs from the conventional image of women. She is positive, intense and free of routinized life. The relation between musicology and feminism has not been developed enough. The previous female artists were struggling to adapt themselves to an male-centric society and have started to raise the questions about women s double sufferings. This study come from the questions, what is the desirable viewpoint of female images in music, how art has constructed a view of womanhood, and how women can realize her own existence against the male-centric society(culture). Consequently, this study tries to contribute to the improvement of the feministic study of music.

In order to enforce the test of the physical fitness by ages which is based on the classification of the foot by forms, I choosed 1096 male-students in J. high shool, and tried to analize to compare the normal foot to the physical test by forms. The results obtained in this study are following. 1. The number of the students of the foot by forms are following. The normal foot that students have is 869(79.28%), and the flat foot is 227(20.8%) 2. The record of the physical fitness test between the normal foot and the flat foot are following. The normal foot obtained more good results than the flat foot in 100 m sprit, in standing broad jumps, in ball throwing, in sit-up, and in pull-ups. 3. Upon investigation the record of the physical fitness test by ages between the normal foot and the flat, I found that 15 years old classes obtained more goods results than 16, 17years old classes in full-ups and in sit-ups.

1. Aim of study During the present century the differences of curriculam between culture high school and vocational high school have hada great influence of leisure activities and leisure-time. Aim of this study is to analyze leisure activities of culture high school students and vocational high school students and to try to improve the realistic problems. 2. The results and consideration of study shows the following facts. (1) In the side of home envirooment culture high school students are better than Vocational highschool students. (2) All stupents feel confident of their bright futureand health, but culture high school students are weaker than vocational high school students (12%), and are planning their future more carefully. Vocational high school students tend to be discontented with their course, so unexpectedly many of them hope to go on to college (61.8%) (3) Leisure-time, pocket money and the place to amuse the hours of leisure are interrelative. Vocational high school students comparatively have many hours which they can amuse, so they are looking for their interests in such activities as sports and the outdoortsand the outdoor activities. They, then, come to need much pocket money. (4) During vacation most ofstudents stay at home in common. Culture high school students usually spend their fime studying, while Vocational high school students enjoy their dilettante life. (5) Culturehigh school students evaluate leisur-time high in that it is good to the mental hygiene, and vocational high school students in that it is helpful to the physical training and dilettante life. (6) On the whole culture high school students enjoy the passive leisure activities emphasizing the morality, but vocational high school students like the dynamic leisure activities for amusement. (7) The establishment of new valuation is urgently needed to make a reasonable use of leisure-time, money, implements and facilities for leisure activities.

Use of electric pulp testing elicits painful response in vital teeth. In this study, we examined the excessive time from pain feeling to stimulation disconnection in clinical situation. D626D (Parkell Inc., USA.) scan type electric pulp tester was used in total of 23 young healthy individuals. Each of the right central incisors and first premolars were used as testing teeth. Stimulation disconnection was achieved by EMG in anterior belly of digastric muscle, finger span, and voice and the excessive stimulation time over the sensory threshold was recorded. As a result, we found that the short responses before the stimulation disconnection appeared following order: EMG, finger span, and voice. The EMG disconnection is suggested to be used to reduce the excessive stimulus time in electric pulp testing.

The substantia gelatinosa (SG) of the trigeminal subnucleus caudalis (Vc) receives orofacial nociceptive information from primary afferent neurons and transmits this information to higher brain centers. Resveratrol (3, 5, 4′-trihydroxystilbene) is a polyphenolic compound found in various plant species and have been reported to have various biological activities, including analgesic effects. Although many studies have investigated the mechanism of action of resveratrol in terms of its antinociceptive effect, limited research has been conducted on the effects of resveratrol on SG neurons involved in orofacial pain transmission, especially to understand its relevance to glutamate receptors. To address this research gap, the present study investigated the effect of resveratrol on glutamate receptor activity in SG neurons using the whole-cell patch-clamp technique. The results showed that resveratrol significantly inhibited glutamate-mediated inward currents in SG neurons. Notably, there were no changes in α-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4- isoxazolepropionic acid- or kainic acid-mediated inward currents in the presence of resveratrol, although N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA)-mediated inward currents were markedly suppressed. Taken together, these results suggest that resveratrol may be involved in orofacial pain transmission in SG neurons of the Vc by inhibiting the activity of NMDA receptors, among ionotropic glutamate receptors.

This study investigated factors affecting the subjective experience of oral symptoms among 2,285 elementary school students in the fourth and sixth grades using the Korean survey on the Health of Youth and Children in 2010. After conducting chi-square and Mann-Whitney U tests, we performed multiple logistic regression analysis to determine the factors affecting children`s experience of oral symptoms. We found that the factors most frequently associated with the subjective experience of more oral symptoms were lower tooth brushing frequency, greater intake of foods that cause dental caries, higher stress levels, and lower levels of support from friends. In conclusion, determinants of children`s oral health, such as children`s oral health behaviors and psychological factors must be considered in a multifaceted approach to developing programs to promote oral health among children.
