가톨릭 유아교육기관 교사의 교육신념과 교수행위에 관한 연구

The present study was conducted to investigate teaching beliefs and practices of catholic preschool teachers. The subjects were 336 teachers in 200 catholic kindergartens and 87 day care center. The teachers completed questionnaires to measure educational beliefs and actual practices. The results show that the teachers reported disagreement between teaching belief and actual practices, therefore, they have experienced conflict.
산책활동에서 나타나는 유아의 또래 간 사회적 상호작용 사례연구

본 연구는 산책활동에서 나타나는 유아의 또래 간 사회적 상호작용 활동과 상호작용에서의 변화를 알아보기 위해 2세 유아 4명을 대상으로 질적 사례연구를 실시하였다. 연구대상은 경기도 부천시에 위치한 N어린이집의 2세반에 재원하고 있는 16명의 유아 중 4명의 유아를 무선으로 선정하였다. 산책활동 시 나타나는 유아의 또래 간 상호작용에 대해 알아보기 위해 Holloway와 Reichhart-Erickson(1988)의 관찰 범주를 신혜원(1992)이 번안·수정한 것을 사용하였다. 자료처리는 유아들의 산책활동을 관찰하여 작성한 관찰일지와 사진, 동영상 촬영 자료, 관찰 분석표를 이용하여 유아의 상호작용 유형을 기술하여 분석하였고, 상호작용의 변화 과정을 알아보았다. 연구결과 자연에서의 산책활동은 유아의 또래 간 상호작용의 질에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 산책활동을 통해 유아가 또래와 긍정적인 상호작용을 하면서 바른 사회성이 발달 할 수 있으므로 산책활동은 바람직한 교육활동이라 할 수 있다. A qualitative case study was conducted in four two-year-old children to examine their peer social interaction activities and the changes in the interactions during the course of walking activities. Four were randomly selected among 16 children in the two-year-olds' class of N Childcare Center in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province. Shin's (1992) translation and revision of the observation categories developed by Holloway and Reichhart-Erickson (1988) was used to investigate their peer interactions during the course of walking activities. For data processing, the observation notes, pictures, video clips, and observation analysis tables concerning their walking activities were used to describe and analysis children's walking activities and examine the course of the changes in their interactions. Walking activities in the natural environment positively affected the quality of peer interactions among young children. It can therefore be said that walking activities are educationally desirable since they allow young children to make positive interactions with peers and develop good sociality.
불확실한 과거에 대한 "이야기하기" -『셔틀콕』을 중심으로

This paper observes the process through which story-telling embraces an uncertain past within the present. The uncertain past particularly could be some ugliness of British history behind the imperialistic glory, and young English writers of the 1980s tried to redefine traditional Englishness. Graham Swift, of the after-war generation, embodies genuine Englishness as an Anglo-English male writer. Swift favours English setting outweighed by Englishness-often provincial or suburban. He is obsessively fascinated with historical events and processes of the distant and more recent past. He combines his artistic creativity with critical awareness of history and mixes history, myth, and fantasy together in his narratives. Therefore, most of his novels transfer personal story-telling to extensive history-telling. In Shuttlecock, the protagonist Prentice, who has been overwhelmed by his father`s glorious masculinity, explores his father`s past and then confronts its ugly truth and weakness. Through embracing the ugliness and weakness of his father`s past-further of English history-, instead of uncovering them, Prentice helps the reader to see a redefining process of the historically wrapped Englishness which unconsciously haunts the consciousness of the English people.
