        Heterogeneous Sensor-Based Target Tracking With Constant Time Delay

        Aiming to address the problem of constant-step-lag in-sequence measurements (CISM) in the process of heterogeneous sensor tracking, an Unscented Transformation-based CISM indirect update algorithm is proposed in this paper. First, based on the classical A1 algorithm, Unscented Transformation is applied to the nonlinear measurement equation to solve the computation of nonlinear systems. This method does not need to solve the Jacobian matrix or Hessian matrix of nonlinear equations. Second, combined with the complementarity of information from heterogeneous sensor systems, CISM is further analyzed, and an indirect update algorithm is proposed to obtain the approximate estimate of the current time of the delay information, which is substituted into UT-A1 to complete a delay information update algorithm that is suitable for the heterogeneous sensor system in this paper. Finally, the experimental results show that the UT-CISM indirect update algorithm can effectively improve the real-time capability and accuracy of the time-delay sensor system in this paper.

        Finite-time Set Stabilization of Impulsive Probabilistic Boolean Control Networks via Time-variant Feedback Control

        This paper investigates the finite-time set stabilization of impulsive probabilistic Boolean control networks (IPBCNs) by designing time-variant state feedback control. Based on the semi-tensor product method, the algebraic form is established for the given IPBCNs. Then, a constructive method is proposed to design time-variant state feedback controller for the set stabilization of IPBCNs. In order to reduce the control execution time, a specific method is put forward to construct the event-triggered state feedback control (ETSFC). Furthermore, the obtained results are applied to both state synchronization and output synchronization of master-slave IPBCNs.

      • Whose Job Is It? Parents’ Perspectives on Volunteering to Help in New Zealand Kindergartens

        Volunteering to help is a traditional type of parental involvement in early childhood education. There have been concerns over the justification of teachers’ practice of leaving their work with parents, particularly for routine tasks such as washing and cleaning, however, little research has been conducted to scrutinize the practice and examine parents’ experiences with volunteering to help. Based on a sample of 25 parents from New Zealand public kindergartens, this study investigates parents ‘experiences with three types of volunteering to help at the kindergarten. Analysis of the semi-structured interview data has revealed enhancers (e.g., benefits for the child, justification of fundraising) and impediments (e.g., limited time, school commitment) to parent volunteering to help as well as the tensions in practice(e.g., relying on core parents, limited resource). The findings support the legitimacy of routine tasks and fundraising and highlight the importance of parent volunteering to help.

        On the Confucian Enlightenment Thought in Pre-Qin Period in “Cheng zhi wen zhi” of the Guodian Bamboo Slips

        敎化思想是先秦儒家政治理論中一個核心問題。先秦儒家在理論上構建了一套敎化理論體系, 在實踐中通過太學、鄕校等實施敎化理念。《成之聞之》是從人性和人倫角度談君子敎化思想和方法, 其中對敎化主體和敎化的途徑有新的槪括和認識, 它旣堅持先秦儒家的敎化思想, 又打上郭店簡性情論的特色的儒家文獻。本文從《成之聞之》中有關敎化的思想出發, 結合先秦其他有關敎化思想的文獻, 對先秦儒家敎化思想中的某些問題進行反思和批判, 從而?到儒家敎化思想的源流。 Ideas about education and culture form the core of pre-Qin Confucian political theory, as the Confucian thinkers of the era both constructed a system of educational theory and implemented their ideas via the Imperial College, the Xiang school, and elsewhere in a quest to produce enlightenment. From the perspective of human nature and human relations, “Cheng zhi wen zhi” discusses educational ideals and methods, and this essay seeks to enhance our understanding of its views on the subject of education and culture. Not only does the “Cheng zhi when zhi” adhere to pre-Qin Confucian educational thinking, it also bears many of characteristics of Guodian bamboo slips disposition theory. This article reflects upon some problems in pre -Qin Confucian thought regarding education and culture in “Cheng zhi wen zhi” in order to find the origin of Confucian thinking on the subject.         元朝帝師入思巴對中國文化的貢獻

        元朝 帝師 파스파(1235-1280)는 티베트불교 薩迦派의 유명한 승려로서 중국 역사에 있어 독특하면서도 중요한 지위를 점하고 있다. 그는 원조를 개창한 쿠빌라이의 종교 스승(帝師)으로서 원조 중앙정부가 티베트를 통일하는 데에 커다랗게 기여하였기 때문에, 그를 연구하는 중국 내외의 학자들은 대부분 그의 정치방면의 활동에 대해 치중하여 연구를 진행하였을 뿐, 다른 방면 예컨대 그가 이루어낸 문화방면에 대한 공헌 등에 대해서는 거의 다루지 않았다. 그렇기 때문에 본 논문은 한문과 티베트 史料를 이용하여 “언어문자학자로서의 파스파”, “교육가로서의 파스파”, “종교문화의 전파자와 건설자로서의 파스파” 등 세 자지의 방면에서 이룩한 그의 중국문화에 대한 공헌에 대해 서술하였다. vPhags-pa (1235-1280), who was the imperial preceptor of Yuan Dynasty and a very famous monk of Saskya Sect in Tibetan Buddhism, had played a particular and important role in Chinese history. Because he was the preceptor in Buddhism for Khubilai Khan, the first emperor of Yuan Dynasty, and he played an important role in the unification which for the first time make Tibet as a part of Yuan China, thus nowadays whenever scholars talk about vPhags-pa, they always focus on his political characters and ignore others ways such as culture, religion and so on. Therefore the humble piece of writing, based on the historical source in Tibetan and Chinese, mainly describes his contributions to the development of Chinese culture in three chapters: I.vPhags-pa as a philologist; Ⅱ. vPhags-pa as an educator; Ⅲ. vPhags-pa as a disseminator and promoter in Buddhism.

        사상(思想) : 상박간(上博簡)「종정(從政)」편의 “사무(四毋)” 탐미(探微)

        上博楚簡의 「從政」편에는 “亂王” 시대의 惡政이 발생하게 된 근원이 위정자들이 “四毋”의 원칙에 위배하였기 때문이라는 점을 말하고 있다. “四毋”는 수양하지 않고 경계하지 않는 것이 곧 악정의 근원임을 설명하고 있으며, 위정자들이 “不敎而殺”적인 주관적이고 자의적인 행위를 우선하는 것에 반대하고 있다. “四毋”는 제도적인 장치가 마련되어야 하는 필요성이 있다는 의미를 함축하고 있으며, 최종적으로 어떻게 악정을 방지하여 도덕 정치를 구현할 것인가라는 측면에서 전형적인 선진유가의 인도주의적인 특징을 띄고 있고, 또한 일정정도 정치적 조작 기술도 구비하고 있다. 더욱이 “貪”에 대한 『논어』 「堯曰」편 “猶之與人也, 出納之吝謂之有司” 문구 이해의 모호성은 보완되어야 하며, 또한 “貪”에 대한 선진 유가의 합리적인 이해의 측면도 환원되어야 한다. The paper of engaged in politics in the bamboo slips of the shanghaimuseums reveal that causes of in the era of the “bad King” rooted in the politicians against the “Four wu” principle. “Four wu” aims to show that no culturing、no alerting is the source of bad governance phenomenon, oppositing politicians to “Excute without teaching” subjective behavior. “Four wu” implied the necessity of system construction, finally how to prevent bad government attributed to moral constrction level, with the typical characteristcs of pre-Qin Confucian humanism and have certain politcal skills. Espercially for the defination of the “greedy” make up the vague comprehension to “just as giving person, cashier stingy that is official” in the Analects of Confuciu--- Yao said, also ruducting to the pre--Qin Confucian rational understanding of “greed”.

        Microstructure Evolution During Continuous Cooling in Niobium Microalloyed High Carbon Steels

        Effects of microalloyed niobium (Nb) on the austenite decomposition behaviors and microstructure evolutionduring continuous cooling in the near eutectoid steels were investigated. Compared to the Nb freesteel, the Nb microalloyed steel was refined with regard to polygonal ferrite grain, pearlite block and colonysizes. This was because its austenite grain size was smaller. The volume fraction of polygonal ferrite transformedwas more in the Nb microalloyed steels, which indicated the eutectoid carbon content exceededthat of pure carbon steel. The spheroidization of pearlite during continuous cooling was enhanced by Nbmicroalloying, mainly due to a higher critical transformation temperature and the finer pearlite structurewith smaller colony size and narrower interlamellar spacing. Hot deformation right above the equilibriumeutectoid temperature accelerated the spheroidization kinetics of pearlite, especially in the Nb microalloyedsteel.

        Preparation and characterization of molecularly-imprinted magnetic microspheres for adsorption of 2,4,6-trichlorophenol from aqueous solutions

        Magnetic molecularly imprinted microspheres (MMIS) were successfully prepared by suspension polymerization,and then as-prepared MMIS were used as adsorbents for selective recognition of 2,4,6-trichlorophenol (2,4,6-TCP) from aqueous solutions. The results composites were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), X-raydiffraction (XRD), thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and vibrating samplemagnetometer (VSM). The results demonstrated that MMIS possesses porous spherical morphology, and exhibits goodthermal stability and magnetic property (Ms=10.14 emu g−1). Then batch mode of binding experiments was used todetermine the equilibrium, kinetics and selectivity recognition. The Langmuir isotherm model fitted the equilibriumdata better than did the Freundlich model, and the maximum adsorption capacity on MMIS was about 1.7 times higherthan that of MNIS. Kinetics behaviors of MMIS were well described by the pseudo-second-order model. MMIS possessedoutstanding selectivity recognition for 2,4,6-TCP in the presence of other competitive phenols (such as sesamol,3-CP, thymol, 2,4-DCP). Furthermore, the reusability performance of MMIS showed about 17.53% loss after five repeatedcycles. Finally, the MMIS were successfully applied to the selective extraction of 2,4,6-TCP from the vegetablesamples.

      • Aptamers against ManLAM of Mycobacterium tuberculosis inhibits virulent Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection in mice and rhesus monkeys

        Tuberculosis (TB) has been a major world-wide cause of death for centuries. One-third of the world’s population is infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M.tb), the etiologic agent of TB. The development of potent new anti-TB drugs is urgently needed. The major M.tb surface lipoglycans, mannose-capped Lipoarabinomannan (ManLAM) had immunosuppressive effects during M.tb infection. In this study, aptamer ZXL1 which specifically bound to ManLAM from the virulent strain M.tb H37Rv was screened out by Systematic Evolution of Ligands by EXponential enrichment (SELEX). The binding affinity of ZXL1 to ManLAM was measured as 8.907X10-8 M of quilibrium dissociation constant (Kd) value by surface plasmon resonance (SPR) analysis. We found that aptamer ZXL1 prevented the ManLAM-induced immunosuppressive effects on DCs and inhibited M. tb entry into macrophages. More importantly, we found that single injection of aptamer ZXL1 significantly prolonged the survival rate of infected mice, and prevent the infected rhesus monkeys from weight loss. The Bacterial numbers were significantly lower in the lungs and spleens in ZXL1-treated groups. These results suggest that aptamer ZXL1 can be used as antimycobacterial agent or as TB vaccine adjuvent.
