      • Characterization of cricket song patterns and the behavior observation of Teleogryllus emma (Orthoptera:Grylloidea)

        We analyzed the chirp sound and behavior of Teleogryllus emma with observation system, which was consisted of computer, ccd-camera and microphone. Computational methods of wavelet transformation and Self-Organizing Maps (SOM) were utilized to characterized the chirp sound of insect species for automatic counting in this study. Wavelets were initially applied to feature extraction of the chirp sound. Wavelet coefficients were accordingly calculated based on the basis function (e.g., Morlet). The obtained coefficients were subsequently provided to count number of chirps in each song. Sound structure of insect specimens consisted with long chirp and short chirp and the patterns of song were grouped by frequency of long chirp and short chirp. The song patterns of insect specimens were divided by Self-Organizing Map (SOM) that was used number of chirp as input data. Application of computational methods to automatic detection of chirp sound was further discussed for obtaining objective assessment in behavior science.

      • 쑥갓(Chrysanthemum coronarium L.)으로부터 배당체의 분리

        쑥갓의 지상부를 MeOH로 추출하고, 추출물을 EtOAc, n-BuOH 및 물로 분배, 추출하였다. n-BuOH분획으로부터 silica gel 및 ODS column chromatography를 반복하여 배당체를 분리하였다. 화합물의 화학구조는, MNR 및 MS 등의 스펙트럼을 해석하여 1-o-β-D-glucopyranosyl-3-hexenol으로 동정하였다. The aerial parts of Garland (Chrysanthemum coronarium L.) were extracted in MeOH and solvent fractionated with EtOAc, n-BuOH and water, successively. n-BuOH fraction gave a glycoside compound through application of silica gel column chromatographies including ODS. The chemical structure of the glycoside was determined by the interpretation of several spectral data, including NMR and MS as O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-3-hexenol (1).

      • 예비 초등교사들의 세포에 대한 개념

        교육대학교에 재학 중인 1학년에서4학년까지 총 127명의 남녀 학생들을 대상으로 하여 면담에 의해 세포에 대한 개념이 어느 정도 형성되어 있으며, 어떤 유형의 오개념을 가지고 있는가를 조사하였다. 조사한 모든 예비 초등교사들은 생물체를 구성하는 기본단위가 세포라는 과학지식을 가지고 있었으나 감자나 고기와 같이 우리가 음식물로 이용하는 생물체의 일부분은 단순히 양분 덩어리인 것으로 인식하는 등, 학습에서 얻은과학 개념과 실제 세계에 대한 또 다른 개념 체계를 병행하여 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 예비 초등교사들은 핵, 엽록체 및 미토콘드리아 등과 관련된 세포의 기능에 대한 개념이 세포에 대한 다른 개념들보다는 낮게 형성되어 있으나 기 보고(장명덕과 송남희, 1978)된 초등교사들의 개념 형성 정도보다는 10%정도 높았다. 그러나 개체의 성장을 세포의 수준에서 바르게 인식하고 있는 예비 초등교사는 조사 대상자의 57% 정도였으며 초등교사들보다 17% 정도 낮았다. 본 연구와 기 보고된 초등교사들을 대상으로 하며 나타난 오개념들의 유형이 서로 유사한 것으로 미루어 보아 이러한 오개념들은 교정되지 않고 장기간 지속되는 것이었다. 그러므로 예비 교사의 양성과정이나 현직교사들의 연수과정에서 이러한 기본 개념들이 바르게 확립될 수 있도록 교육 프로그램을 개발, 적용할 필요가 있다. The purpose of this study is to investigate degree of the concept formation and to clarify the patterns of misconception on cell in preservice elementary school teachers. Data were collected by interviews with 120 presservice elementary school teachers, ranged from freshman to senior, studying at Taegu National University of Education, Korea. The instrument used in this study was developed by Jang and Song(1998). The results were discussed with those on elementary school teachers' cell conceptions(Jandg and Song, 1998).

      • 染色體 分染法에 의한 日本産 나리屬(Lilium)식물의 細胞學的 類緣關係

        C-banding pattern of Lilium medeoloides A. Gray native to japan was examined. The comatic chromosome number of plant used was 2n=24+2B. About 5.8% of the total chromosome length was banded. This species has some bands in only five chromosomes except for centromeric band. Two subtelocentric B chromosomes have only a centromeric heterochromatin. C-banding pattern of this species is similar to that of lilies with whorled leaves native to Korea. According to similarity of banding patterns, chromosomal relationships among lilies with whorled leaves native to Korea and Japan have been discussed.

        일 농촌지역 노인의 연령에 따른 신체조성, 체력 및 낙상경험 비교

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the status of body composition, physical fitness and experience of falls according to age of elders in a rural community. Method: From June 2008 to May 2009, 306 elders participated in this study. Measurements were made for body composition using In body 3.0 and for physical fitness using arm curl, sit to stand, 2 minute walk, back stretch, chair sit and reach, one leg stand with eyes open, and 244 ㎝ up and go. Chi-square test, t-test, ANOVA and Scheffe‘s test were used with the SAS program for data analysis. Results: The results showed that the following were significantly different according to age: muscle mass(p<.001), arm curl(p<.001), sit to stand (p<.001), back stretch(p<.001), one leg stand with eyes open(p<.001), 244 ㎝ up and go(p<.001). Also, there was a significant difference in muscle mass(p=.003) according to experience of falls. Conclusion: The results indicate that elderly people need an exercise program which is appropriate for different body composition and physical fitness aspects according to age and experience of falls.

      • 播種量에 따른 靑刈油菜의 生育反應 및 生草 收量變化

        本 硏究는 濟州道 火山灰土壤에서 播種量 差異에 따른 靑刈油菜의 生育反應 및 靑刈收量에 미치는 影響을 究明하기 위하여 遂行하였으며, 그 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 1. 草長은 900g과 800g, 播種區에서 가장 길었으며, 1000g, 700g, 600g, 500g 順位로 짧았다. 2. 葉數, 葉重, 莖重, 莖直徑과 分枝數등은 播種量이 많을수록 작았으며, 葉幅과 葉長은 播種量이 많아질수록 넓고 커졌다. 3. 根長은 播種量이 많아질수록 작아졌으며, 根重은 800g과 900g 播種區에서 무거웠고 500g 播種區에서 가장 작았다. 4. 靑刈收量은 900g, 800g 및 1000g 播種區에서 가장 많고, 이들간에는 有意差가 없었으나, 500g과 600g 播種區에서 靑刈收量은 매우 적었다. 5. 草長은 靑刈收量, 葉長과는 高度의 正의 相關關係를 보였으며, 葉幅과 根重과는 正의 相關을 莖重과 分枝數와는 負의 相關關係를 보였다. The study is accomplished to investigate the growing response of soiling rape by the difference of seeding rate on the soil of volcanic ashes in Cheju-Do. The results of this study are as follows; 1. The plant height on the seeding plot of 900g, 800g revealed longest, but short on seeding plot of 1000g, 700g, 600g and 500g in that order. 2. The more seeding rate was, the smaller revealed the number of leaf, leaf weight, stem weight, stem diameter and number of branch. The more seeding rate, the wider and the larger the leaf width and the leaf length became. 3. The more seeding rate was, the shorter the root length became. Root weight was heavier on the seeding plot of 800g and 900g, but smallest on the seeding plot of 500g. 4. The harvesting quantity of soiling rape revealed largest on the seeding plot of 500g, 600g, and 1000g. There were no significant difference among them, but the harvesting quantity revealed very small on the seeding plot of 500g and 600g. 5. There was a lot positive correlation between the plant height and the harvesting quantity of soiling rape, but positive correlation between leaf width and he root weight, negative correlation between the stem weight and he number of branch.

        경계강조 보간법을 이용한 디지탈방사선사진상의 개선에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to aid in the use of the digital images by edge-detect interpolation for direct digital periapical images using edge-detect interpolation . This study was performed by image processing of 20 digital periapical images; pixel replication, linear non-interpolation, linear interpolation, and edge-sensitive interpolation. The obtained results were as follows: 1. Pixel replication showed blocking artifact and serious image distortion. 2. Linear interpolation showed smoothing effect on the edge. 3. Edge-sensitive interpolation overcame the smoothing effect on the edge and showed better image.
