Post-tensioned precast concrete system(PPS) consists of U-shaped precast wide beams and concrete columns. The continuity of beam-column joint is provided with the topping concrete on the PC shell beam and post-tensioning. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the response of PPS interior beam-column joint subjected to cyclic lateral loading. To this end, the experimental investigation was performed with three half-scale specimens of interior connection. The design parameter is the ratio of beam width to column width. Test results showed that cracks were distributed well and plastic hinges spread toward midspan without any significant degradation of strength and ductility. And the specimens sufficiently resisted up to the limiting drift ratio of 0.035 given by ACI of acceptance criteria for concrete special moment frames.

In this study, new moment-resisting precast concrete beam-column joint is proposed for moderate seismic regions. it is attempt to devise connection detail which makes workability improve and confirm effective stress transfer in the region of connection. It has the connection details which help working process simplified and construction cost reduced. as replace 9.3㎜, 7strand for reinforcement. Fore specimens for partial tension test and three specimens for beam-column interior joint test were producted. An experimental study was carried out to investigate the joint behavior subjected to reverse cyclic loading and constant axial compressive load. The test variables was transverse reinforcement in joint. Structural performance of joint is evaluated on the basis of connection strength, stiffness, energy dissipation, and drift capacity. Based on the test results, the precast connection is capable of matching or exceeding the performance of the monolithic connection and thereby provides the sufficient moment-resisting behavior to be applicable for moderate seismic regions.

In this study, new moment-resisting precast concrete beam-column joint is proposed for moderate seismic regions. It has the connection reinforcing bars, penetrated the joint and lap-spliced with the bottom bars of precast U-beam. An experimental study was carried out to investigate the joint behavior subjected to reverse cyclic loading and constant axial compressive load. Three precast beam-column interior were tested. The variables examined were the type of connection reinforcing bars and presence of transverse reinforcement in joint. Joint performance is evaluated on the basis of connection .strength, stiffness, energy dissipation, and drift capacity. 철근 콘크리트 연속 유공 깊은 보의 전단내력에 관한 해석적 연구

The purpose of this report is investigation of shear behaviors of the deep beam through non-lineal Finite Element Method based on experimental results of continuous deep with opening. Optimum condition for analysis was selected by means of adopting various material property as variables, and additional models including different position of opening selected as variables was simulated. Also experimental result was calibrated by two formula suggested by AIJ and CIRIA, considering effect of opening in the continuous deep beams. As a result of calibration, it is possibly estimated that shear strength formula suggested by AIJ(the Architectural Institute of Japan) can be also adopted as formula for continuous beam. It is expected that results of this research which evaluated shear behavior of the continuous deep beam through non-lineal Finite Element Method can be applied data for reinforcement in the vicinity of opening in the continuous deep beams.
Hanger로 보강된 스터드 접합부의 인장거동에 관한 실험적 연구

This paper presents the tensile behavior of the stud connection between reinforced concrete(RC) and steel members. Hanger reinforcements are placed around the studs to transfer the tensile loads to the opposite side of the concrete member. Six specimens, of which variables were arrangement details of hanger reinforcements and studs. Tensile test results show that hanger reinforcements are effective to increase tensile strength and ductility. Test tensile strengths of specimens are compared with the nominal strengths by ACI codes(ACI 318-02, ACI 349-99) and PCI 1999.
커버플레이트형 RCS 접합부의 전단저항 기여도에 대한 유한요소 해석

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the structural performance of RCS joint with cover plates. Each participating component to shear resistance was analyzed by FEA. Among three experimental test specimens selected from the previous literatures, two specimens are the cover plate type and the other one is the transverse tie bar type. The cover plate type specimens have band plates over steel flanges and cover plates around the joint. The specimens were modeled with solid elements for concrete and shell elements for steel beam, FBP, E-FBP, band plate and cover plate. The reinforcing bars were assumed to be smeared into concrete. The FEA showed that cover plates provide high capability of shear resistance while reducing crushing of outer concrete. The FBP can resist about 10% of joint shear regardless of joint details. The FEA showed that the cover plate in RCS joint can contribute to increase the capability of outer components which consisted with outer concrete, cover plate or transverse tie, FBP. However, the inner components of the transverse tie bar type provided about 70% of shear resistance. FEA results also showed that ASCE and Kanno's equations may underestimate the contribution of outer elements and the cover plates.
변형된 smooth 모델을 이용한 비선형 이력 거동의 해석적 연구

This paper presents an analytical model for structural members subject to cyclic inelastic load. The model, modified smooth model, can take into account the non-symmetrical behavior, the pinching effects, the axial load effect under the condition of biaxial moments. The analytical model was compared with other analytical method and experimental results. The fiber model was used to make comparison with the proposed model. The experimental results were selected from tests for hybrid structures consisted concrete and steel or precast and cast-in-place concretes. A good agreement was obtained with the proposed model.

Braced frames are a popular framing system for resisting to seismic loads in buildings because braced frame can provide large lateral stiffness and strength than moment frames. Hollow Square Section(HSS) members are one of the most efficient sections of compression members and bracing members. In this experimental study. Specimens were designed according to the AISC LRFD manual. The major parameter of these specimens is a width-thickness ratio. In this study three specimens were made for each test parameters to account for the variability of test results. The nine full-scale test specimens were tested using a quasi-static cyclic loading. This study modified the standard loading history in SAC to make it adequate for a bracing member test.

Experimental results from the cycle lateral load tests for post-tensioned precast wide beam-column connections were presented. Six exterior beam-column assemblages of half scale were tested in the laboratory. The specimens consist of U-shaped precast wide beams and concrete columns. The continuity at the beam-column joint is achieved with the topping concrete and post-tensioning. The specimens were designed with parameters of the beam-to-column depth ration and the number of tendons within column core. The test results showed that the post-tensioned precast wide beam-column connection satisfied the provisional standard by ACI of acceptance criteria for concrete special moment frames.
