        The evaluation of quality of animals such as cows and pigs are made by evaluators at Korea Institute for animal product quality evaluation (KAPE). A scientific criterion determining the fairness of evaluators has been made. This paper is an extension to find out a methodology to evaluate the severity of evaluators. Evaluator can get feedback about their relative severity on their evaluations.

This paper is an extension to find out a methodology to evaluate the work process for the analysis of portion of fat, color of meat, and color of fat. Evaluator can get feedback about their relative severity on their evaluations.

      • PC Beam 교량의 진동 특성에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 실제 교량(PC Beam)에서 재하시험을 통해 교량의 고유진동수를 진동모드별로 파악한 후, 수치 모델링을 통하여 유도된 동적하중에 따른 6차 모드까지의 고유진동수를 고려하여 처짐을 계산할 수 있는 산정식에 관한 것이다. 처짐 계산식은 모드중첩법에 의한 비감쇠 강제진동 이론을 이용하여 교량을 등속도로 이동하는 동적 주행하중에 의해 발생하는 처짐을 계산할 수 있도록 수치 모델링을 하였으며, 이를 검증하고 자동으로 계산할 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고 제안된 처짐 계산식을 검증하기 위하여 PC Beam 교량을 대상으로 동적재하시험을 실시하여 처짐을 측정하고 이 값을 본 연구의 처짐 계산식의 결과와 비교하였다. 이 결과, 본 연구에서 제안하는 처짐 계산식은 고유진동수를 고려하는 진동모드의 차수가 낮은 경우에 비교적 정확한 처짐을 예측하며, 주행속도에 따라서는 적용하는 진동모드 차수에 의하여 처짐 예측의 정확도가 영향을 받는 것을 확인하였다. This research bridges the actual (PC Beam) through the loading test on the bridge identified by the resonant frequency of vibration mode, and then through numerical modeling based on dynamic loads induced through the sixth mode, the resonant frequency can be calculated by considering deflection estimate is about expression. Deflection due to the calculation mode superposition theory bigamsoe forced vibration of the bridge to move the dynamic driving force constant velocity caused by the deflection to be calculated with numerical modeling was validated and it was so that it can be evaluated automatically. And, in order to validate the proposed equation of deflection against PC Beam Bridge dynamic loading test conducted to measure the deflection of the deflection of this study, these values ​​were compared with the results of calculations. As a result, the deflection equation proposed in this study to consider the natural frequency of vibration mode, a relatively low degree, predict the correct sag, depending on driving speed in order to apply the vibration mode is affected by the accuracy of predictions of deflection were to receive.

      • 콘크리트 보강형 사장교의 보행자가 받는 진동에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 차량 주행시 동일 구조물을 보행하는 사람이 느끼게 되는 진동영향 정도를 실험을 통하여 연구하였으며, 차량으로 인한 진동의 영향은 보강형 콘크리트 사장교를 대상으로 하였다. 대상 교량의 연장은 464m이며 2차선 사장교로서 차량하중이 교량을 주행할 때 발생되는 진동레벨을 측정하여, 교통 진동의 관리기준치와 비교해 봄으로써 사용성을 평가하고자 한다. 그러나 현재 우리나라에서는 차량의 통행으로 발생되는 교량의 진동에 대해서는 그 수준을 평가할 일괄된 방법 및 기준은 없는 실정이다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 진동레벨 측정값을 이용하여, 교통소음 진동의 관리기준에 제시된 평가기준에 의하여, 보행자가 받는 차량의 진동에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 그 결과 교량의 연직방향은 측정 진동레벨치가 관리기준치를 약간 상회하고 있으나, 진동에 대해 불쾌감을 느끼는 정도로써 진동 사용성이 비교적 양호한 것으로 판단되며, 또한 교량의 횡방향 및 종방향은 측정 진동레벨치가 관리기준치 이내에 있으므로, 진동을 약하게 느끼는 정도로써 진동 사용성이 양호한 것으로 판단된다. 핵심 용어 : 진동, 사장교, 진동레벨, 보행자 In this study, we reserched the degree of the vibration of which a person can feel while the person driving the same structure. We carried out the experiment about the effect of the vibration caused by vehicles on the reinforced concrete cable-stayed bridge. The length of the bridge is 464m, and the bridge is cable-stayed bridge with two-lane. Our intention is evaluating the usability, so we measured the level of vibration that occurs when driving the vehicle as a two-lane cable-stayed bridge load, as compared with the standard value of traffic vibration. However, in Korea, we don't have coherent methods and standards to measuring the degree of the vibration of the bridge caused by the passage of vehicles. Therefore, in this study, we used the vibration level measurements. And we reserched the vibration of the vehicle receives a pedestrian by using the criteria outlined in the Traffic Noise and Vibration Management ratings. As a result, the vertical direction of the bridge was estimated values measured vibration level control reference value slightly above, but enough to feel a bit of discomfort for the vibration as a relatively good vibrations usability. Thus, And the measured vibration level is shorter than the reference value which is transverse and longitudinal, so the bridge is considered good usability vibrations feel as the amount of weaken vibration.       • Human Glutathione S-transferase의 Tyr108 잔기의 역할에 관한 연구

        Glutathione S-transferase(GST, EC 2.5. 1.18)의 기질 결합부위에 대한 연구를 위하여 human GST P 1-1의 친전자성 기질 결합부위 (H-site)로 알려지고 있는 Tyr108 잔기에 대하여 부위특이적 변이법을 이용하여 Y108A, Y108F 그리고 Y108W의 새로운 변이체 3개를 얻었다. 대장균을 이용한 대량발현과 affinity column에 의해 정제된 변이체 효소에 대하여 GSH와 CDNB, DCNB, ETA, EPNP 또는 steroid와의 포합반응 활성을 측정하여 야생형과의 활성비교를 하였다. 야생형과의 활성비교에 있어서 각 변이체들의 변화를 볼 수 있었으며, 특히 입체적 장애를 준 Y108W 변이체의 경우 CDNB에 대한 활성이 다른 변이체에 비해 현저히 감소한 반면 ETA에 대한 활성은 증가하였다. 이러한 결과 Tyr108 잔기는 친전자성 기질 결합부위에 관련되는 잔기로 생각되어진다. In order to study the role of residue in the active site of glutathione S-transferase (GST), Tyr108 residue in human GST P 1-1 was replaced with alanine, phenylalanine and tryptophan by site-directed mutagenesis to obtain mutants Y108A, Y108F and Y108W. The specific activities were determined by measuring the initial rates of the enzymes-catalyzed conjugation of GSH with CDNB, DCNB, ETA, EPNP or steroid. The Y108W mutant slightly increased the conjugating activity toward ethacrynic acid(ETA)., but it decreased in specific activity toward 1-chloro-2,4-nitrobenzene(CDNB). On the other hand, the Y108A and Y108F mutants had negligible effect on the activity toward CDNB, ETA and DCNB of the wild type. These results indicated that Tyr108 in human GST P1-1 may contribute to the binding of electrophilic substrate.

      • 클랩(Clap)과 노말(Normal) 스케이트 착용에 따른 남ㆍ여 스피드 스케이트 출발 구간의 운동학적 분석

        The purpose of this study is to examine the kinematic characteristics of starting phase of players weared clap and normal skate in speed skating. The subjects of this study were current members of high ranked skaters in university. The Direct Linear Transformation(DLT) technique was employed to obtain 3-D position coordination of 22 joint points. Butter-worth low-pass filtering method was used to data smoothing at cut-off frequency of 7.4Hz. From the results of this study, the following conclusions were drawn; 1.At the of landing, male athlete showed slightly fast time in the first left-step and they also showed take-off by fast swing motion during gliding. 2.To get propel acceleration, female athlete showed large tranverse displacement and, on the other hand, male athlete showed large horizontal displacement. According to this results, COG showed steep change of motion in the high position during starting. 3.In the velocity of COG, both male an female athlete show a gradual rise-pattern of the velocity rate, In the velocity of skate front blade, they showed the swift change of the velocity during the second and third phase. 4.In the front angle of trunk, both and female athlete showed the big motion of trunk by the change of angle. In the angle of lower-segments, the better record athlete have, the faster motion of flexion and extention. Especially, female athlete showed the flexion of the angle-change and do not fast swing. In the knee, male athlete show take-off motion as increasing angle of left knee during starting, On the other hand, female athlete showed unnecessary pre-motion by decreasing knee angle and increasing it again.

      • 가스망의 흐름분석에 관한 연구

        본 논문에서는 가스망을 나타내는 방향그래프에서 말단의 사용자들의 가스 사용량이 주어져 있을 경우 다른 모든 정점들(정압기)을 흐르는 가스량을 구하는 문제를 고려하여 이를 규명하고 또한 주어진 가스망에서 사용자들의 가스 사용량이 주어져 있을 경우 다른 모든 정점들에 흐르는 가스량을 구하기 위한 최소수의 감지기(sensor)를 어느 가스관에 부착해야 하는지를 결정하는 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 그리고 위의 문제에서 source가 여러 개일 경우 이들 source들에서 나가는 가스량과 말단의 사용자들의 가스 사용량을 알고 있는 가정 하에 위의 문제를 다시 고려하여 이를 규명하였다. 그리고 감지기들이 부착된 가스망과 source들과 사용자들의 가스량에 대하여 나머지 모든 정점들의 흐름량을 구하는 알고리즘을 제시하였다. In this paper, we consider digraphs representing gas-networks in which gas quantity of end users is given. The problem of determining gas-flow of all the vertices is characterized. Given a gas-network, we present an algorithm of finding the minimum number of sensors which are attached to edges to determine gas-flow of all the vertices. Next we consider the problem to which the following assumptions are added: multiple sources exist and flow of each source is known. This problem is also characterized. Finally given a gas-network in which sensors are attached, we present an algorithm of determining gas-flow of all the vertices.

      • Euonymus alatus추출물의 실험적 당뇨발생 억제효과

        Insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM) is majorly caused by an immune system-mediated destruction of the beta cells in the islets of Langerhans. Patients with IDDM face major changes in lifestyle and the possibility of debilitating and life-threatening complications. In Korean traditional medicine, Euonymus alatus (EA) extract has been widely used for preventing and curing ulcer and inflammation. A previous study has shown that EA itself has an antidotic activities against inflammation, suggesting possibility that EA can exert this beneficial effects to IDDM by an initial protection against diabetes caused by pancreatic inflammation. The present study was undertaken to evaluate the prophylactic effect of EA extract on the diabetogenesis of streptozotocin (STZ) and alloxan (ALX), using animal model, and to explore the possible mechanisms of its antidiabetic activity. Multiple low doses of STZ (45 mg/Kg for 5 days) in ICR mice and single dose of ALX (60 mg/Kg) in SD rats induced high level of hyperglycemia (defined as plasma glucose level > 300 mg/dl) and remarkably diminished body weight. But, animals that received diabetogenic agents in combination withsEA were maintained plasma glucose level as a normal state ( < 150 mg/dl), and appeared in good health and had similar weights to those of normal control. These results strongly indicated that EA prevented and blocked diabetogenesis of chemicals. EA significantly inhibited the nitric oxide- and tumor necrosis factor-production of mouse peritoneal macrophages. However, EA enhanced interleukin 1 production of macrophages at lower concentration but not at higher. EA itself increased phagocytic activity of unstimulated monocytes, but it did completely block that activity of zymosan- or platelet activating factor-stimulated cells. Taken together, this study led to conclusion that EA itself has a significant prophylactic effects against diabetes, and also suggested that its antidiabetic effects might be manifested by the downregulation of inflammatory process in diabetogenesis.

      • 직장암환자에서 복회음병합절제술(Miles' operation) 후 발생한 지속적인 배뇨장애의 치료

        Bladder dysfunction is one of the serious postoperative complications after rectal cancer surgery. To get sufficient objective data and factors for adequate management of bladder dysfunction following rectal cancer surgery, we reviewed medical records of 122 patients who had abdominoperineal resection of rectum (Miles' operation) for rectal cancer. The incidence of bladder dysfunction in 122 rectal cancer patients was 18.9 percent (23 patients). Among 23 patients with bladder dysfunction, 10 patients were referred to our rehabilitation service and their bladder was areflexic type neurogenic bladder at referred time. In 10 patients referred to our rehabilitation service, 8 patients(80.0% got the balanced bladder and 2 patients(20.0% ) failed, and the interval between beginning of bladder training and establishment of balanced bladder in 8 patient was 13.4±6.8 days. In 13 patients did not referred to our service, only 3 patients(23.1% ) got the balanced bladder and 10 patients(76.9%) failed. To improve the life quality of the rectal cancer patients with neurogenic bladder following abdominoperineal resection of rectum, early proper rehabilitative managements including bladder training were should be given.
