It is Korean cultural ideology to be strict distriction double sex ethics and male oriented social aesthetics. In this sociocultural background, the adolescent has confusion on sexual identity and tend to be increased unwed mothers. Korean adolescent unwed mothers live with psychologic problems that can cause excessive suffering due to social prejudice and discrimination . The purpose of this study is to define intervention methods and psychologic problems of Korean adolescent unwed mothers through literature review. Before becoming unwed mother, their life reflected control deficit and distortion such as the abscence of parental love, negative self image combined with a low level of self-esteem. During the pregnancy, they were denial of recognition of the pregnancy at first, shock by it, sense of guilty, suffering from the lasting pregnancy, ambivalent emotions toward the baby, abandon of life, attempt of suicide, doubt of life. During the labor, they were to relief of the suffering, attachment to the baby, and a desire of seeing it, sorry to her parents, withdrawing, sorrow. etc. After the labor, they were a sense of loss due to parting from the baby, confusion, sense of isolation, formation of negative attitude to the other sex, withdrawing, sense of shame and guilty, negative self-recognition, expectation of the adoption by good parents, etc. Intervention Mothods for unwed mothers are Group program for improving career attitude maturity, cognitive-behavioral therapy for stress managements, support programs.
율무쌀의 添加가 肉鷄의 成長, 肉質 및 血液像에 미치는 影響

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of added 1%(T1), formular feed+hulled Coix Lacyma L.3%(T2), formular feed+hulled Coix Lacyma L. 5%(T3) and formular feed+hulled Coix Lacyma L.7%(T4), on Water Holding Capacity, Tenderness, PH and Blood Picture for 56 days from July 20, 1981 to September 4, the same year at brooder house, Jinju Agricultural and Forestry Junior Technical College. The results obtained were summarized as follows: 1. Chemical compositions of Coix Lacryma L. were moisture 12.15%, crude protein 14.25%, crude fat 2.0%, crude fiber 12.55%, NFE 53.16% and crude ash 5.07%. 2. Body weight gain was highest in the T3 plot and there were signigicant(p<.05) differences between the others except C, T1 and T4. 3. Feed efficiency and feed intake of T3 were superior to those of all the others and there were significant(p<.05) differences between the others except C1-T1 and T2-T4. 4. Benefit per kg Broiler was highest with 225.76 won in the T3 and next was 216.1 won in the T2 and in the others, was lower than 207.5 won of C plot. 5. As WHC, Tenderness and PH in breast and leg muscle were 58.0:56.6, 110.2: 109.9 and 6.77:6.72, those of breast muscle were slightly high. 6. Means of RBC, Homoglobin and WBC were 252±20.19×10 exp (6)/㎣, 7.5±9.13 gm/ml and 18.1±1.44×10 exp (3)/㎣. 7. Percentages of white blood cell were lymphocyte 60.9±3.09, heterophile, 21.8±3.55, Eosinophile 2.3±1.03, basophile 1.9±07 and monocyte 13.1±2.89%.

Spatial and temporal expression of pathogenesis-related (PR) gene and proteins has been recognized as inducible defense response in pepper plants. Gene expression and/or protein accumulation of PR-1, β-1,3-glucanase and chitinase was predominantly found in pepper plants during the inoculations by Xanthomonas campestris pv.vesicatoria, Phytophthora capsici and Colletotrichum coccodes. PR-1 and chitinase genes were also induced in pepper plants in response to environmental stresses,such as high salinity and drought. PR-1 and chitinase gene expressions by biotic and abiotic stresses were regulated by their own promoter regions containing several stress-related cis-acting elements. Overexpression of pepper PR-1 or chitinase genes in heterogeneous transgenic plants showed enhanced disease resistance as well as environmental stress tolerances. In this review, we focused on the putative function of pepper PR-1, β-1,3-glucanase and chitinase proteins and/or genes at the biochemical, molecular and cytological aspects.

<P>The pathogen- and ethylene-inducible pepper-basic pathogenesis-related (PR)-1 gene, <I>CABPR1</I>, was strongly expressed in pepper leaves by osmotic and oxidative stresses. The pepper <I>CABPR1</I> was introduced into the <I>Arabidopsis</I> plants under the control of the cauliflower mosaic virus 35S promoter. Polymerase chain reaction-amplification with the <I>Arabidopsis</I> genomic DNA and Northern blot analyses confirmed that the pepper <I>CABPR1</I> gene was integrated into the <I>Arabidopsis</I> genome, where it was overexpressed in the transgenic <I>Arabidopsis</I> plants under normal growth conditions. The constitutive overexpression of <I>CABPR1</I> induced the expression of the <I>Arabidopsis</I> PR-genes including <I>PR-4</I>, <I>PR-5</I> and <I>PDF1.2</I>. Enhanced resistance to phytopathogenic bacteria, <I>Pseudomonas syringae</I> pv. <I>tomato</I> DC3000, was also observed in the transgenic <I>Arabidopsis</I> plants. <I>CABPR1</I> overexpression in the transgenic <I>Arabidopsis</I> caused enhanced seed germination under NaCl (ionic) and mannitol (non-ionic) osmotic stresses. Enhanced tolerances to high salinity and dehydration stresses during seed germination of the transgenic plants were not found at the early seedling stage. The transgenic <I>Arabidopsis</I> plants exhibited a higher tolerance to oxidative stress by methyl viologen at the seed germination, seedling and adult plant stages. These results suggest that the <I>CABPR1</I> gene may function in the enhanced disease resistance and oxidative stress tolerance of transgenic <I>Arabidopsis</I> plants.</P>
