A Study on the Speech Recognition using Pitch Synchronous LPC Cepstrum-VQ and HMM

In this paper we propose a phoneme recognition model of the Korean speech by using the pitch synchronous LPC cepstrum-VQ and FIMM. The LPC cepstrum coefficient have been obtained by synchronizing the analysis frame per a pitch. The pitch synchronization method reduces the analysis trine and the effect of the pitch pulses. The LPC cepstrum of the Input speedy signal is vector quantized by using the reference codebook of the LPC cepstrum coefficient. This codebook has already been designed with the FCM clustering algorithm. The LPC cepstrum codevector's address in codbook is applied to the f IMM algorithm, and then recognized phoneme by phoneme. As the speech signal vary slowly with tune, the HMM technique is, in general, effective in it modeling in time. The performance evaluation of, the proposed method has been done for both inside training data and outside training data. As the simulation results, it can be shown that the proposed recognition method has improved about 3(%) in recognition ratio than the pitch asynchronous method.
회전 디스크형 빔 셔터를 이용한 입체영상 디스플레이 시스템에 관한 연구

In this paper, a stereoscopic display system using a rotary disk type beam shutter and two beam projectors is proposed. It is a kind of active stereoscopic display and can be easily converted from passive stereoscopic system using polarizing filters. If it is possible to synchronize the revolution speed of the beam shutter with the integer multiple of the scanning frequency of the beam projectors, we can obtain a comparable performance with our system to an active stereoscopic system using one expensive high performance beam projector. Further, if we rotate the beam shutter at sufficiently high revolution speed, our active stereoscopic system works regardless of synchronization and thus the system is much easier to implement.
분산 시스템상에서 Farmer Model 을 이용한 통신망 관리 에이전트 개발

The TMN that appears to operates to operate the various communication networks generally and efficiently is developed under the different platform environment such as the different hardware and the different operating system. One of the main problems is that all the agents of the TMN system must be duplicated and maintain the software and the data blocks that perform the identical function. Therefore, the multi-platform cannot be supported in the development of the TMN agent. In order to overcome these problems, the Farming methodology that is based on the Farmer model has been suggested. With the Farming methodology, the software and the data components which are duplicated and stored in each distributed object are saved in the platform independent class repository(PICR) by converting the format of the independent componentware in the platform, so that the componentwares that are essential for the execution can be loaded and used statically or dynamically from PICR as described in the framework of each distributed object. The distributed TMN agent of the personal communication network is designed and developed by using the Farmer model.

이 논문에서는 소프트웨어의 모듈화에 관하여 다룬다. 디자인 도구로서 페트리망을 이용하며, Petri net Ianguages의 단계적인 분할방법에 대하여 논의한 후, 소프트웨어의 단계적인 modularization을 위한 방법을 제안한다. This paper deals with the modularization of software systems. Petri net is used as a tool for software design, and Petri net language describes possible behavior of the system. Hierarchical decomposition of the language is used as a guideline for the modularization of the software systems.
