      • 복합 블레이드 방식 수직축 터빈을 이용한 최대전력 출력특성

        Savonius rotors generally cannot complete with either a propeller-type or a Darrieus wind turbine on an aerodynamic performance basis. However, because the technology required to fabricate a Savonius rotor is considerably less than that required for more sophisticated types of wind turbine, Savonius rotor may find more applications in developing countries as well as in do-it-yourself project. In this paper proposed the wind turbine system using vertical axis wind turbine adopted combination blade method that assembled a Savonius blade inboard and a half cylinder blade on outside. And proposed the power conversion system has a generating capacity of one kilowatts and that can control maximum power. The system obtained the characteristics that the turbine have generation maximum power 259[W] at TSR=0.7 and good inverter, battery charge characteristics.

      • Mg(OH)₂를 이용한 습식탈황에서 폐슬러리 처리특성연구

        Properties analyses and treatment characteristics of waste slurry discharged in the wetted flue gas desulfurization process using Mg(OH)₂as a absorbent were investigated. Aeration and coagulation test were carried out to evaluate variation of some factors such as COD, SS, T-N, etc. related to waste slurry treatment. The hydraulic retention time(HRT) and coagulant dosage rate were applied as operating variables in experiment. As experimental results, the reduction effects of COD, SS in aeration test were distinct, due to oxidation of SO₃ and floc, formation of suspended solids. It was also found that the reduction efficiencies of SS and T-P in coagulation test are higher than 90%.

      • 만성적 과부하에 따른 골격근의 수축특성과 근섬유 Isoform 조성의 변화 분석

        The effects of chronic overload by synergist ablation (SA) on fiber type, myosin heavy chain (MyoHC) isoforms, and contractile properties in the rat plantaris muscle were studied. Plantaris muscle was overloaded by bilateral removal of its synergist of gastrocnemius muscle in Fischer 344 female rats (aged 8 pweeks). Muscles of sham-operated legs served as controls. The overloaded plantaris was 20% heavier than control 3 week after SA. Overload by SA resulted in remarkable increases in cross-sectional areas of muscle fibers of all types : however the percentage increase was less in type Ⅱb fibers. Twitch contraction and half-relaxation time before and after tetanus did not change, but fatigue resistance increased significantly with overload. The percentage of area occupied by type Ⅱb fibers, which have lower oxidative capacity, decreased while the percentage of area occupied by other type Ⅱ fibers, but not tupe I fibers, increased. Analysis of MyoHC isoforms with gradient sodium dodecylsulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis revealed a decrease in Ⅱb isoforms and an increase in Ⅱd isoforms. There results suggest that chronic overload produces changes in muscle fiber type and MyoHC isoform compositions which partly account for increased fatigue resistance in overloaded muscles.

        소아 혈중 연농도에 관한 조사

        지리적 위치에 따라 소아들에 있어서 혈중 연농도에 차이가 있는지의 여부와 소아들의 혈중 연농도의 참고치 계산을 위한 기초자료를 얻기 위하여 6-8세의 도심지역 거주 소아 102명과 교외지역 거주 86명, 총 188명을 대상으로 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 전체 소아들의 평균혈중 연농도는 산술평균이 7.24, 기하평균이 6.92 ㎍/100㎖이었으며 남자가 여자보다 통계적으로 유의하게 더 높았다(p<0.05). 2. 도심지역과 교외지역 거주 소아들의 혈중 연농도는 도심지역거주 소아가 남, 녀 모두에서 교외지역 거주 소아보다 통계적으로 유의하게 더 높았다(p<0.05). 3. 혈중 연농도에 따른 분포에서는 <5 ㎍/100㎖군에 조사대상자 188명의 17.02%가 분포되었고 도심지역(5.88%)보다 교외지역(30.23%)에서 더 많은 분포를 보였으며, 10 ㎍/100㎖이상 군에는 전체 소아의 12.23%가 분포하고 있었으며, 도심지역(20.59%)이 교외지역(2.33%)보다 더 많이 분포하고 있었다. 이상의 결과에서 볼 때 도심지역 거주 소아들에 대한 연폭로의 관리대책이 시급히 마련되어야 할 것으로 판단된다. The authors conducted this study to evaluate some differences in blood lead levels between inner-city and suburban children and obtain the basic data of the reference value of the blood lead concentrations in children. The subjects were composed of 102 children residing in inner-city and 86 children in suburban. Their age range were 6 to 8 years old and the obtained results were as follows; 1. The arithmetic means of the blood lead level in male and female, male, and female children were 7.24, 7.40, 7.08 ㎍/100㎖, and geometric means were 6.92, 7.08, 6.76㎍/100㎖, respectively. 2. The children residing in inner-city had the higher blood lead levels both male and female than suburban children with statistical significance(p<0.05) 3. Seventeen percent of the total subjects had lead concentrations < 5 ㎍/100㎖, and 5.88% of inner-city children and 30.23% of suburban children had this lead values. But in ≥10㎍/100㎖ group, the inner-city children(20.39%) were more distributed than suburban children(2.33%), and 12.33% of total subjects had this lead values.

      • RBa_2 Cu_3 O_9-x계 화합물의 초전도 성질 : R=Y, Ho, Dy, Gd, Sm, Nd, Er, Yb R=Y, Ho, Dy, Gd, Sm, Nd, Er, Yb

        RBa_2Cu_3O_9-x(R=Y, Ho, Dy, Gd, Sm, Nd, Er, Yb) 산화물은 고상 반응법으로 준비되었으며 90K 근처에서 초전도 천이를 보였다. RBa_2Cu_3O_9-x(R=Y, Ho, Dy)의 결정구조는 XRD로 조사하였으며, 단일상의 orthorhombic tripled perovskite 구조임을 확인했다. RBa_2Cu_3O_9-x(R=Y, Ho, Dy, Gd, Sm)의 조성은 SEM(EDX) 뿐만 아니라 적정 및 중량분석, ICP를 이용하여 비교 조사하였다. RBa_2Cu_3O_9-x oxide compounds(R=Y, Ho, Dy, Gd,Sm, Nd, Er, Yb) were prepared by soild-state reaction and showed superconducting transitions near 90K. Crystal structure of RBa_2Cu_3O_9-x(R=Y, Ho, Dy) was examined by XRD and identified a single phase, orthorhombic, tripled perovskite structure. Chemical composition of RBa_2Cu_3O_9-x(R=Y, Ho, Dy, Gd, Sm) was examined by use of SEM (EDX), titrimetry & gravimetry, and ICP.

      • 4,5-bis(hexanoyloxy)의 dodecame 合成 및 그 潤滑性

        4,5-Bis(hexanoyloxy) dodecane was syntheisized from 4,5-dodecanediol which was obtained through continuous reaction steps starting from n-octyl alcohol. All the intermediates and final products were purified by way of distillation or crystallization, and confirmed by IR spectrophotometer and refractometer. Physical properties of the diester synthesized were also determined for the flowing point and solidifying point. It was observed that the flowing point of the diester was under-78℃, and it appeared that the diester synthesized is much more superior to the common mineral lubricant on the base of the solidifying temperature.

        Luminescence Properties after X-ray Irradiation for Dosimetry

        To investigate the luminescence characteristics after exposure to X-ray radiation, we developed an independent, small X-ray irradiation system comprising a Varian VF-50J mini X-ray generator, a Pb collimator, a delay shutter, and an Al absorber. With this system, the apparent dose rate increased linearly to 0.8 Gy/s against the emission current for a 50 kV anode potential when the shutter was delayed for an initial 4 s and the Al absorber was 300 μm thick. In addition, an approximately 20 mm diameter sample area was irradiated homogeneously with X rays. Based on three-dimensional (3D) thermoluminescence (TL) spectra, the small X-ray irradiator was considered comparable to the conventional 90Sr/90Y beta source even though the TL intensity from beta irradiation was higher than that from X-ray irradiation. The single aliquot regenerative (SAR) growth curve for the small X-ray irradiator was identical to that for the beta source. Therefore, we concluded that the characteristics of the small X-ray irradiator and the conventional 90Sr/90Y beta source were similar and that X ray irradiation had the potential for being suitable for use in luminescence dosimetry.
