This paper presents the features, technology and construction of a power MOS-FET current source inverter(CSI) type for induction heating operation over the 60~70KHz frequency range. This type 1KW output power generator, allows replacement of the electronic tube generators for most their applications. The most outstanding advantages of this CSI type generator with respect to tube generators are more energy effciency, extended life, reduced size. Separated heating station of the generator, and connection by flexible cable.
Half-Bridge 공진형 인버어터를 이용한 고주파 유도가열기의 특성해석에 관한 연구

This paper presents the description, analysis of a half-bridge resonant-type inverter suitable for heating magnetic materials in the 350kHz∼500kHz range MOS-FETs were employed as the switching devices. The main equivalent circuit are consisted of the series-parallel resonance circuit with half-bridge MOS-FET inverter system. While the output current of the inverter is nonsinusoidal waveform, the current of the heating coil appears sinusoidal waveform. Therefore this system appears series resonant charact- eristics under the condition of 350kHz∼500kHz range. Among waveforms of the simulation the output voltage of the inverter has a high spike voltage, therefore in a practical system this power device resultly is forecasted to be damaged by heat.

This paper presents a n analysis of the output voltage waveforms of the double sinusoidal modulated PWM inverter, and are studied on the driving characteristics through the 3 phase induction motor using 6502 microcomputer. The double sinusoidal modulated waves are produced during the interval 4$\pi$/3 [rad] for one cycle, and the switching loss can be reduced. The amplitude of fundamental wave of double sinusoidal modulated PWM inverter is 1.15 times higher than that of the sinusoidal PWM inverter, but the practical measured value by FFT analyzer is 1.13 times.

Savonius rotors generally cannot complete with either a propeller-type or a Darrieus wind turbine on an aerodynamic performance basis. However, because the technology required to fabricate a Savonius rotor is considerably less than that required for more sophisticated types of wind turbine, Savonius rotor may find more applications in developing countries as well as in do-it-yourself project. In this paper proposed the wind turbine system using vertical axis wind turbine adopted combination blade method that assembled a Savonius blade inboard and a half cylinder blade on outside. And proposed the power conversion system has a generating capacity of one kilowatts and that can control maximum power. The system obtained the characteristics that the turbine have generation maximum power 259[W] at TSR=0.7 and good inverter, battery charge characteristics.

This paper describes the basic starting methods of the current source type static thyristor inverter circuit, which have been developed specifically for induction heating applications. These type of the auxiliary thyristor methods (1) (2), auxiliary DC source method, series capacitor short type method and composite starting methods described constitute a complete and compatible line of static frequency converters, capable of meeting the needs of virtually all practical induction heating applications, requiring frequencies from 180 Hz up to 5 KHz, at power levels from 5 KW to 500 KW upwards.

This paper is a study on the input-power factor characteristics of series connected 12 pulse converters that is composed of power thyristors. The controlled methods of these series connected converters have fully-controled method of series connected six-pulse converters and half-controlled of series-connected six-thyristors and six-diodes, respectively. When the retard of angles of series-connected fully-controlled are α=63°, 46°and 34°, power factors are 45%, 68% and 81%. When the retard of angles of series-connected half-controlled are α=60°, 57°and 40°, power factors are 84%, 85% and 89%. Input power factor characteristics show the higher series half-controlled than series fully-controlled in the all area.

This paper investigates the problem of designing a compensating control for a linear multivariable system so that the closed-loop system behaves like a specified ideal system or model. Synthesis technique through linear optimal control theory is applied to a model following problem, for the plant which has contant disturbances. To meet the control objectives, a new type quadratic performance index is proposed and simplified the problem using linear regulator problem in which the integral quadratic error between the plant and model outputs is minimized. The optimal system constructed by this metod consists of the both of a feedback controller and a feedforward controller, and its step response can be satisfactorily kept close to that of the model without offset. A numerical example illustrates the efficiency of this system.
