        한영사전의 역사와 성격

          Although more than a century has passed since foreign missionary, R G. Underwood compiled the first Korean-English dictionary in 1890, there is no historical record of the development of this type of dictionary. It is under these circumstances that this paper traces the history of the Korean-English dictionary from the first to the ones which are on the market today. Characteristic features of the major Korean-English dictionaries are described and according to these characteristics an attempt is made to categorize the dictionaries. A Korean-English dictionary can be a productive dictionary for Korean EFL learners whereas it can be a receptive dictionary for foreign learners of Korean. In light of the dichotomy between productive and receptive bilingual dictionaries, the equivalents of mureup offered in the Korean-English dictionaries are examined. The results show that productive Korean-English dictionaries, compiled with a view to catering for Korean EFL learners" production in English, do not provide enough information for their envisaged users.

        영영학습자사전 비교 분석

        It is more than a half century since the forerunner of the monolingual learner’s dictionaries(MLDs), Idiomatic and Syntactic English Dictionary was compiled by A. S. Hornby and his colleagues, and published in Japan in 1942, and later reprinted by Oxford University Press in 1948. For the first three decades or so, the market was monopolized by Oxford. In 1978, however, a strong new contestant, Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English(LDOCE) arrived, igniting competition in the market of dictionaries for foreign learners of English. Since then three more British publishers have joined the field, and now at least five major MLDs are available: Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary(OALD), Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English(LDOCE), Collins COBULD Advanced Learner’s English Dictionary(COBUILD), Cambridge Advanced Learner’s Dictionary(CALD) and Macmillan English Dictionary(MED) in order of each dictionary’s first edition. All of these MLDs, with the exception of MED which was first published in 2002, have gone through several revisions and shown great advances both in terms of types of information included and the way these are presented. This, together with the current emphasis in the EFL teaching environment on communicative competence, has led teachers to encourage their students to use MLDs, rather than English-Korean dictionaries. However, general studies on MLDs have rarely been reported in Korean academic journals, let alone studies on their use by Korean EFL students. Given these circumstances, the purpose of this study is to analyse from a comparative point of view the five aforementioned major MLDS, focusing on their presentation of headwords, definitions, grammatical and collocational information, and labels. The analysis highlights the characteristics and strengths of each dictionary.

        졸업학년 간호대학생의 비판적 사고 성향과 공감역량이 회복 탄력성에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 비판적 사고 성향과 공감역량이 간호대학생의 회복 탄력성에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상은 일개 대학 간호학과 4학년 학생 234명을 대상으로 하였고, 2019년 6월 3일부터 6월 19일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 설문자료는 기술통계, t-test, 상관분석 및 다중회귀분석으로 통계처리하였다. 연구결과 비판적 사고 성향(r=.79, p<.001)과 공감역량(r=.73, p<.001)은 회복 탄력성과의 유의한 양의 관련성을 나타내었다. 비판적 사고 성향과 공감역량은 간호대학생의 회복 탄력성에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 회복 탄력성을 70.3% 설명하였다(F=276.765, p<.001). 따라서 간호대학생의 회복 탄력성을 높이기 위해서는 비판적인 사고와 공감역량을 함양할 수 있는 내적 요인 강화 교육 프로그램이 필요할 것으로 사료된다. This study is a descriptive research study to investigate the effects of critical thinking and empathy on resilience of nursing students. The subjects of this study were 234 nursing students in the 4<sup>th</sup> grade and the data were collected from June 3 to 19, 2019. Data was processed by descriptive statistics, t-test, correlation analysis, and multiple regression method. As a result of the study, critical thinking and empathy showed a significant positive relationship with resilience. Critical thinking and empathy were factors that influence the resilience of nursing students and the resilience was explained as 70.3%. Therefore, in order to increase the resilience of nursing students it is considered that an education program that strengthens internal factors can cultivate critical thinking and empathy skills is necessary.

        임신 2삼분기 여성의 조기진통 증상과 조산에 영향을 미치는 다인성 요인

        Purpose: The aim of this study was to determine the influence of various factors on preterm labor symptoms (PLS) and preterm birth (PB). Methods: This prospective cohort study included 193 women in the second stage of pregnancy. Multiple characteristics including body mass index (BMI), smoking, and pregnancy complications were collected through a self-report questionnaire. Pregnancy stress and PLS were each measured with a related scale. Cervical length and birth outcome were evaluated from medical charts. Multiple regression was used to predict PLS and logistic regression was used to predict PB. Results: Multiple regression showed smoking experience, pregnancy complications and pregnancy specific stress were predictors of PLS and accounted for 19.2% of the total variation. Logistic regression showed predictors of PB to be twins (OR=13.68, CI=3.72~50.33, p<.001), shorter cervix (<25mm) (OR=5.63, CI=1.29~24.54, p<.05), BMI >25 (kg/m²) (OR=3.50, CI=1.35~9.04, p<.01) and a previous PB (OR=4.15, CI=1.07~16.03, p<.05). Conclusion: The results of this study show that the multiple factors affect stage II pregnant women can result in PLS or PB. And preterm labor may predict PB. These findings highlight differences in predicting variables for pretrm labor and for PB. Future research is needed to develop a screening tool to predict the risk of preterm birth in pregnant women.

        간호대학생의 비판적 사고성향과 공감능력이 셀프리더십에 미치는 영향

        목적 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 비판적 사고성향, 공감능력과 셀프리더십의 관계를 파악하고, 셀프리더십에 미치는 영향요인을 규명하기 위함이다. 방법 연구 대상은 C도의 4개 대학교 3, 4학년에 재학 중인 간호대학생이었으며, 본 연구에 자발적으로 동의한 대상자들에게 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 자료수집을 하였다. 자료분석은 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 변수 간 차이는 t-test, ANOVA로 분석하였고, 변수 간 상관관계는 Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient로 분석하였으며, 대상자의 셀프리더십에 미치는 영향요인 규명은 다중회귀분석 방법을 이용하였다. 결과 연구결과로는 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 비판적 사고성향, 공감능력과 셀프리더십의 차이에서 성별, 연령, 임상실습경험, 종교, 간호학과 진학 동기, 전공에 대한 만족 정도, 의사소통능력에 대한 만족 정도, 대인관계 만족 정도, 취업 희망 분야에서 유의한 차이를 보였으나, 학년, 동아리 활동에서는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다. 셀프리더십과 비판적 사고성향, 공감능력 간에는 모두 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 간호대학생의 셀프리더십에 미치는 영향요인을 확인한 결과, 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 비판적 사고성향이었으며, 그 다음으로는 공감능력, 전공에 대한 만족정도 순으로 나타났다. 모형의 설명력은 48.7%였다. 결론 본 연구는 셀프리더십의 영향요인으로 비판적 사고성향뿐만 아니라, 공감능력이라는 인문학적 소양 요인의 중요성을 입증하였다는 점에서 의의가 있으며, 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 학부과정에서는 교과 및 비교과 프로그램을 통하여 간호대학생의 창의성을 겸비한 셀프리더십을 향상시킬 수 있는 교육적 접근이 필요하고, 임상현장에서는 지속적인 셀프리더십의 개발과 함양을 위한 행정적·재정적 지원이 필요할 것이다. 그러나 이보다 앞서 간호대학생이 셀프리더십에 대한 필요성을 인식하는 과정이 선행돼야 할 것이다. Objectives The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship between nursing students’ critical thinking disposition, empathy ability and self-leadership, and to determine the effect of nursing students' critical thinking disposition and empathy ability to self-leadership. Methods The subjects of the study were nursing students enrolled in the 3rd and 4th grades of four universities in C province. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple linear regression analysis using the IBM SPSS 20.0 program. Results The findings showed differences in the degree of gender, age, clinical experience, religion, motive of entering nursing department, satisfaction of majors, satisfaction of communication skills, satisfaction of personal relationships and hopeful employment fields in the difference between the degree of critical thinking disposition, empathy ability and self-leadership of nursing students according to the general characteristics of the subject, but there was no difference in grade level and club activities. It was found that there was a positive correlation between self-leadership of nursing students, critical thinking disposition and empathy ability. As the result, the most influential factor to self-leadership of nursing student was critical thinking disposition followed by empathy ability, satisfaction of majors. The explanatory power of the model was 48.7%. Conclusions This study is significant in that it proved the importance of not only critical thinking disposition but also the humanities literacy factor such as empathy ability as an influencing factor of self-leadership. An educational approach that can improve self-leadership combined with creativity is required, and administrative and financial support for the continuous development and cultivation of self-leadership in the clinical field will be required. However, the process of recognizing the need for self-leadership by nursing students should be preceded.

        이직의도가 있는 임상간호사의 소진경험에 관한 현상학적 연구

        This study was aimed to understand the meaning and essentials of the experience of burnout for hospital nurses with turnover intention. Methods: The design was a qualitative research of phenomenological study. Participants: Seven hospital nurses who had worked over three years and had experiences of turnover intention in a hospital with over 400 beds were included. Results: Nine meaningful themes related to burnout experiences and four theme clusters of 1) battery warning sounds almost out; 2) the player who hit the drum and double-headed drum; 3) the target flying arrow without a break; and 4) the pendulum swaying to turn over. Registered nurses (RNs) felt burnout with an overload of work and by the thought that it was illegal action for registered nurses to receive insufficient rewards for their work. RNs also experienced there were no problem solving strategies to verbal violence by patient and medical team. Conclusion: The findings show that burnout experiences for those who had turnover intention was developed from the insight that insufficient training to do work independently with over-load for nurses was not ethical. It suggests that it is necessary to rethink training systems for nursing and hospitals to relieve turnover intention.
