        구취유발세균에 대한 $NANOVER^{TM}$의 항균효과 검사 1. Nanosilver가 구취 세균의 증식에 미치는 영향

        Recently there is much interest in the antibacterial activity of nano-sized silver particle (nanosilver) since silver is known to be safe and effective as disinfectant for a long time. Oral malodor is considered to originate in the oral cavity primarily as a result of production of malodorous compounds by oral bacteria. Major compounds responsible for oral malodor are volatile sulfur compounds, which is thought to be generated by the G(-) anaerobic bacteria found normally in the oral cavity, especially on the dorsum of the tongue. The purposes of this study were to investigate the effect of nanosilver on growth of oral malodor generating microorganisms, including Fusobacterium nucleatum, Prevotella melaninogenica, Klebsiella pneumonia, and to determine the optimal culture condition of them. The results were as follows: 1. The optimal culture condition for P. melaninogenica was vacuum culture using desiccator after evacuation of air by vacuum pump in chopped beef meat media. 2. The growth of K. pneumonia was temporarily inhibited by nanosilver (5 ppm and 10 ppm). 3. The morphological alteration and cell damage caused by nanosilver were observed in K. pneumonia.

        Retrospective Analysis of the Natural History of Atopic Dermatitis Occurring in the First Year of Life in Korean Children

        The aim of this study was to analyze the natural history of atopic dermatitis (AD) and the risk factors associated with the remission of AD in Korean children. We enrolled 597children with AD that occurred in the first year of life. A variety of factors influencing the prognosis were assessed by medical records and telephone interviews. Their outcome was classified into complete remission, intermittent, and persistent AD. AD had completely disappeared in 422 cases (70.6%), while 149 (25%) and 26 cases (4.4%) showed intermittent and persistent skin symptoms, respectively. The average healing time was 29.6 months in complete remission group and expected healing time of the AD was 60 months. None of risk factors were significant by multivariate analysis. But, in moderate-to-severe AD group, maternal diet restriction during lactation (P = 0.046) and no sensitization to cow’s milk (P = 0.017) were significantly associated with remission of AD in the multivariate analysis. In conclusion, AD occurring in the first year of life disappears in a significant proportion of patients. In addition, in Korean children with moderate-to-severe AD, maternal diet restriction of allergenic food during lactation and sensitization to cow’s milk seem to predict the prognosis of AD.

        한국산 녹차와 홍차가 고지혈증 유도 쥐에 있어서 혈청 지질 대사에 미치는 영향

        The study investigated the serum lipid metabolism and enzyme activities of Korean teas for their preventative activity against chronic disease and obesity. Male Sprague-Dawley rats were raised for 8 weeks on four experimental diets: normal diet, hyperlipidemic diet, and hyperlipidemic diet to which green and black teas (2% each) were added. Various biological actions, including lipid metabolism and enzyme activities of the serum, were investigated. Diet-induced, hyperlipidemic rats fed with green and black teas, showed significant decrease in food efficiency ratio, triglyceride, total lipid, and phospholipid compared to control, i.e. the normal and diet-induced, hyperlipidemic rats. Total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, Al(atherogenic index), LHR, VLDL-cholesterol, ester-cholesterol, and free-cholesterol also showed a significant decrease. However, there was no significant difference between the tea-fed, diet-induced, hyperlipidemic dieted groups. HDL-cholesterol concentration was increased significantly in the tea-dieted and normal groups compared to the control. There was a little difference in lipase activity between the normal and control groups, although green and black tea-dieted experimental groups were both increased compared to the control. The contents of total lipid, triglycerides, and total cholesterol were decreased in the normal and experimental groups compared to the control. The GOT, GPT, ALP and LDH serum enzyme activities of the experimental groups were significantly reduced compared to those of the control groups.

        유가(儒家)의 생사관을 통해 본 죽음교육

        The purpose of this paper is to give a picture of how to deal with life and death in Confucianism. Life and death are taken as important things in our life, but death has disregarded by modern education intentionally or unintentionally. So our traditional thoughts about a viewpoint of life and death are very meaningful to all of us. The very fundamental things about life and death are Heave and Heaven's decreed as fatality and ineluctability. Confucius and Mencius add the righteous morality which makes humanity. If there is no way but to accept death, we have to take a way to achieve benevolence and the right. This is Heaven's decreed. In Analects, Confucius did not talk about marvels, feats of strength, irregularities, and gods, but he had thought hard about spirits and gods. To look as if he had not interested in death, spirits, and gods is because he tried to know about life. He did not deny the fact that there is spirits and gods. These are correlative Yin-Yang beings. After death, man's body stopped all functions and had divided into a spirit and a god. These two are become the object of rituals. Here the attitude of Confucius is human affairs. All of rituals and ceremonies do for the sake of man and dead man both. The value of ceremony is in the harmony itself. Man and dead man maintain solidification of the mutual relations through funeral rites and ancestor-memorial ceremonies. The meaning of confucian life and death about death education gives us significance that we should not diverted from human affairs and have a correct understanding of correlative life and death. Through the sacrifices we are related to our ancestors already dead in our everyday life, death is not the object of fear and evasion.

      • 구강보건교육 콘텐츠 유형이 취학 전 아동의 구강위생관리능력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of e-learning contents of oral health education on the oral hygiene management ability of preschool children. The subjects were under 4-year-old infants. We used e-learning oral health education contents and conducted preliminary questionnaires with subjects’ parents. Patient hygiene performance (PHP) index, learning evaluation, and blogs were also used for the study. The statistical analysis were as follows: general characteristics of the subjects, oral care behaviors of infants, parents’ oral health knowledge behaviors. To evaluate oral health knowledge of infants, frequency and percentage were calculated and a frequency analysis was performed. Also, a paired samples t-test was conducted to test the changes in the oral environment management ability (PHP index) before and after oral health education through the use of e-learning contents. The result of this study was as follows: First, after the e-learning education evaluation, the correctness rate exceeded 70% and the knowledge of oral health knowledge of infants increased. The PHP index before and after oral health education was 2.03 and 1.48, which appears to be a significant difference (p=0.001). Thus, it was confirmed that education through e-learning contents was effective, and the ability of children to manage their oral environment was improved. By using e-learning educational contents, it was determined that children could easily understand contents and through friendly and fun contents improve oral hygiene management ability.

        영재교육 분야의 학부모 대상 연구 동향 분석

        본 연구는 학술연구정보서비스(RISS)에서 영재교육 분야에서 학부모를 대상으로 한 연구의 동향을 살펴보고 이들 토대로 향후 연구에 관한 시사점을 모색하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 한국학술연구정보원(RISS)에서 ‘영재’ and ‘학부모’로 논문을 검색하여 국내의 학술지에 등재된 논문 119편을 최종 선정하였으며, 발행년도, 연구방법, 자녀 변인을 수준과 영역, 연구주제의 발행수를 알아보고 키워드 출현빈도, 동시출현성, 중심성을 살펴본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영재교육진흥종합계획 시기에 따라 연도별 학술논문 발행편수를 살펴보면 제1차에는 연평균 1.83편, 제2차는 9.2편, 제3차는 9.4편, 제4차는 5편이 발행되어 시기에 따른 큰 편차를 보였다. 둘째, 자녀정보를 바탕으로 볼 때 수준에 따라서는 초등이 83편, 중등이 49편으로 80% 이상이 초·중등에 편중되어 있고, 영역별로 과학 52편으로 가장 많으며, 예술 17편으로 영역 간 편차가 큰 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 연구방법을 기준으로 살펴보면 조사연구가 74편, 질적연구 41편, 개발연구 3편, 실험연구 1편 순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 연구 주제별로 살펴보면 학부모 문화가 89편으로 가장 많은 편수를 보였으며 학부모교육 및 프로그램, 학습환경으로서 학부모 특성이 각각 15편 같은 수준으로 나타났다. 키워드 동시출현성은 학부모-인식이 9회로 가장 높은 빈도를 나타내어 인식에 관한 연구가 가장 활성화되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 연결중심성 상위키워드는 영재, 학부모, 인식, 연구 등으로 다른 연구와 함께 많이 수행되는 연구로 나타났으며 매개중심성 상위의 키워드는 분석과 인식, 방안, 프로그램 순으로 확인되어 다른 연구와의 매개 역할을 수행하는 것으로 확인되었다. The purpose of this study is to examine the research trends of parents in the field of gifted education in the academic research information service (RISS) and to seek implications for future research based on the. To this end, 119 papers in Korean journals were selected by searching for papers "gifted" and "parents" at the Korea Institute of Science and Research Information (RISS). The number of publications o the subject was examined, and the frequen occurrence of keywords, simultaneous appearance, and centrality were examined. The results of this study are as follows. First, looking at the number of papers issued per year according to the timing of the Comprehensive Plan for Gifted Education Promotion howed deviation. Second, depending on the levels based of children’s information, 83 articles related to elementary school and 49 related to secondary school accounted for more than 80% of the total. By area, science is the most with 52 articles, and art has 17, showing a large variation between domains. Third, in terms of research method, there were 74 research, 41 qualitative, 3 development, and 1 experimental stud. Fourth, when looking at each study topic, the parent culture showed the highest number with 89 articles, and the characteristics of parents as parent education, programs, and learning environments were each at the same level 15 articles. As for the simultaneous occurrence of keywords, ‘parent-recognition’ showed the highest frequency with 9 times, confirming that research on recognition was most active. The top keywords of connection-centeredness were found to be studies that are frequently conducted with studies such as gifted children, parents, recognition, and research, eywords with high mediation-centeredness were identified in the order of analysis, recognition, plan, and program.

        이야기나누기 수업절차모형을 적용한 유아교사의 임상장학 효과

        본 연구는 이야기나누기 수업절차모형을 개발 및 적용하여 유치원과 어린이집 유아교사에 대한 임상장학 효과를 파악하기 위한 목적으로 이루어 졌다. 연구결과 첫째, 이야기나누기 수업절차모형을 적용한 임상장학 집단 유아교사들은 통제집단 유아교사들에 비하여 이야기나누기 수업활동 능력이 향상되었다. 둘째, 이야기나누기 수업절차모형의 적용 효과는 5년 미만의 유아교사들에 비하여 5년 이상의 경력을 소유한 유아교사들에게서 더 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 이야기나누기 수업절차모형의 적용 효과는 2-3년제 전문대학을 졸업한 교사들과 4년제 대학교 이상을 졸업한 교사들 사이에는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 없었다. The purpose of this study was to develop a Story-telling Instructional Process Model and to find its application effect. To achieve the study goal, research questions were established according to teacher`s variables(group, educational background, and teaching experience). To verify the study problems, 32 teachers of 6 early childhood educational institution located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do were selected and divided into clinical supervision group and control group. A Story-telling Instructional Process Model(SIP Model) composed of planning, execution & development, and an evaluation was developed by the researcher. Clinical supervision group teachers were given 8 sessions of story-telling lessons appling SIP Model by the researcher for the period of 8 weeks, about 3hours each session. Teachers of control group were given a story-telling lesson according to their own ordinary curriculum. To verify the application effect of a SIP Model, measuring tool was developed. The measuring tool was `story-telling lesson activity evaluation table` for a teacher. In an analysis of all the study results, t-test and one way variance analysis were conducted using SPSS 10.0 program for Window. The results obtained are as follows: First, teachers of the clinical supervision group who conducted a lesson by applying a SIP Model improved in their story-telling lesson ability higher than the control group teachers who conducted a story-telling lesson according to ordinary curriculum. Second, in an application effect of a SIP Model indicated in the clinical supervision group, teachers having more than 5 years` teaching career showed higher improvement than teachers having less than 5 years` career. Third, there was no difference between teachers who graduated from 2-3 year system college and teachers who graduated from 4 year university in application effects of a SIP Model.
