        전문 운동선수의 편측성운동이 척추의 형태학적 구조에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the structure of the spine in asymetrical athletes(Badminten, Bollring, Tennis, Pingpong) and compare these groups with symetrical athletes(Box, Swimmer, Weightlifting). The subject of this study were 120 athletes(asymmetric 69, symmetric 51). They have played more than 8 years and go to K university in Seoul. The measurement tools of this study were FormetricⅡ(Diers, Germany) which is a Multidimensional measure. The result are the following: First, there is a significant difference between asymmetric athletes and symmetric athletes of trunk imbalance at p<.035 level. Second, there is a significant difference between asymmetric athletes and symmetric athletes of pelvic tilt at p<.026 level. Third, there is significant difference between asymmetric athletes and symmetric athletes of trunk rotation at p<.005 level. Fourth, there is significant difference between asymmetric athletes and symmetric athletes of lateral deviation at p<.000 level.

        관동맥 질환에서 혈청 Troponin T 의 임상적 의의

        N/A Objectives: Although the diagnosis of coronary heart disease is usually straight forward, conventional diagnostic tests, such as CK, CK-MR, LDH, and AST have several drawbacks. The diagnostic efficiency of these conventional thests is disappointingly low, especially in minimal myocardial damage. l herefore, there has be necessity of more sensitive and specific diagnostic thest. Recently, cardiac TnT (TnT) was introduced with better sensitivity, specificity, and more wide diagnostic window. So we analyzed distribution of TnT in control, release kinetics, diagnositic significance of TnT in coronary heart disease including unstable angina and acute myocardial infarction, and efficiency of TnT as a marker of reperfusion in acute myocardial infarction. Methods: We tested cardiac TnT in 40 normal healthy subjects and 25 extracardiac traumatic patients as control group. We also tested cardiac TnT in 34 patients with acute myocardial infarction and 27 patients with unstable angina. We evaluated the distribution and serial change of cardiac TnT with other cardiac enxzymes after chest pain onset, the discriminant power of Tnl in discriminating of reperfusion after thrombolytic therapy in patients with acute myocardial infarction with conventional coronary angiography and the correlation between release kinetics of TnT and left ventricular ejection fraction with echocaroliography. Results: 1) In control group, all 65 cases serum TnT value were less than 0.2㎍/L. And its specificity (100%) and sensitivity in diagnosis of coronary heart disease including untable angina(acute myocardial infarction: 100%, unstable angina 70.4%) was better than those of other cardiac enzymes, such as CK, CK-MB. 2) In patient group, the release pattern of cardiac TnT was in bimodal curve pattern, while the pattern of other cardiac enzymes was in unimodal pattern. 3) In acute myocardial infarction, the first peak value of cardiac TnT appeared siginificantly earlier (9.53±2.36 hr in stable-reperfused group, 13.40±1.92 hr in non-reperfused group of acute MI than that of caridac enzymes; CK(17.65±6.48 hr in stable-reperfused group 27.53±10.26 hr in non-reperfused group), and CK-MH (16.84±7.93hr in stable-reperfused group, 24.33±10.36 hr in non-reperfused group of acute MI)(p<0.01). And troponin T was continuously increased above the cut-off value during the test period, so the diagnostic window of TnT was longer than other cardiac enzyme. 4) In acute myocardial infarction, cardiac TnT showed better discriminant power above 80% for reperfusion than those of CK(67.65%) and CK-MB (58.82%) In stable reperfused group of acute MI, cardiac TnT showed significant correlation with left ventri- cular ejection fraction(absolute value of r >0.6, p< 0.001). Conclusion: Cardiac troponin T was a good diagnostic marker for coronary heart disease including unstable angina and acute myocardial infarction with better sensitivity and specificity, for discriminating of reperfusion after thrombolytic therapy, and for the prognosis of remnant left ventricular global systolic function

        상부등뼈도수교정과 목뼈부위안정화운동이 만성 목뼈부위 기계학적 통증 환자의 관절가동범위와 장애지수에 미치는 효과 비교

        PURPOSE: The aim of this study is to investigate how upper thoracic manipulation and cervical stability training affects cervical range of motion and neck disability index of patients with chronic mechanical neck pain. METHODS: 30 patients with chronic mechanical neck pain, and randomly divided into the upper thoracic manipulation and the cervical stability training group. Upper thoracic manipulation group was conducted to the upper thoracic manipulation, and cervical stability training was conducted to the cervical stability training. Intervention period was 6 weeks, and 3 sessions, each of which was run for 5~10 minutes. The subjects were measured neck range of motion before and after intervention by electro-goniometer. Neck disability index was used to measure neck disability index Korean version. RESULTS: Comparison within groups, there were significant difference in neck range of motion before and after intervention, and Neck disability index significantly reduced in the cervical stability training group. The comparison between groups, there were no significant difference in neck range of motion and neck disability index. CONCLUSION: Upper thoracic manipulation and cervical stability training to the patients with chronic neck pain was helpful to improve neck range of motion and cervical stability training was helpful to improve neck disability index.

        스포츠 테이핑이 근 피로 유발에 따른 슬관절의 위치감각 및 자세동요에 미치는 영향

        This study purposes at applying knee joint taping to prevent muscle fatigue and maintain postural stability. Twenty six subjects were randomly sampled among healthy people. To cause muscle fatigue, isokinetic exercise, which is a repetition of flexion and extension knee joint to 180°/sec, was performed 50 times per person. Position sense and postural sway were measured at pre-fatigue, post-fatigue as well as during the taping application. Analysis has carried out by means of one-way ANOVA with repeated measures at the significance level of α=0.05 to detect statistic significance. The results of this study were as follows: it was found that the generation of lower extremity muscle fatigue significantly affects on position sense and postural sway(p<0.05). The application of taping to the knee joint significantly affects position sense and postural sway(p<0.05). Fatigue has negative influences on daily activities that people do such as playing sports, and it also limits the level of rehabilitation exercise therapy. People commonly get injured towards the end of sports games when they undergo muscle fatigue. Therefore, the results suggest that proper sports taping is crucial to keep game players and people from muscle fatigue.

        균형과 보행분석을 위한 스마트 인솔의 신뢰도와 타당도 분석

        Purpose: The Pedisole is a newly developed shoe-mounted wearable assessment system for analyzing balance and gait. This study aimed to determine the reliability and validity of the parameters provided by the system for static balance and gait analysis of healthy adults. Methods: This study included 38 healthy adults (22.4±1.9 years) with no history of injury in the lower limbs. All participants were asked to perform balance and gait tasks for undertaking measurements. For analysis of balance, both the smart Pedisole and Pedoscan systems were concurrently used to analyze the path length of the center of pressure (COP) and the weight ratio of the left and right for 10 s. Gait was measured using the smart Pedisole and GaitRite walkway systems simultaneously. The participants walked at a self-selected preferred gait speed. The cadence, stance time, swing time, and step time were used to analyze gait characteristics. Using the paired t-test, the intra-class coefficient correlation (ICC) was calculated for reliability. The Spearman correlation was used to assess the validity of the measurements. In total, data for balance from 36 participants and the gait profiles of 37 participants were evaluated. Results: There were significant differences between the COP path lengths (p<.050) derived from the two systems, and a significant correlation was found for COP path length (r=.382~.523) for static balance. The ICC for COP path length and weight ratio was found to be greater than .687, indicating moderate agreement in balance parameters. The ICC of gait parameters was found to be greater than .697 except for stance time, and there was significant correlation (r=.678~.922) with the GaitRite system. Conclusion: The newly developed smart insole-type Pedisole system and the related application are useful, reliable, and valid tools for balance and gait analysis compared to the gold standard Pedoscan and the GaitRite systems in healthy individuals.

        크롬친화성세포종과 비슷한 증상을 동반한 급성 간헐성 포르피리아

        Acute intermittent porphyrla(AIP) is a disorder that results frorn partial deficiency of porpbobi- linogen dearninase an has varlable clinical manifestations, such as acute abdominal pain, vomiting, nausea, constipation, perlpheral neuropathy, seizure, abnormal psychic symptoms, respiratory failure, tachycardia, and hypertension. If cases present severe acute hypertension, their clinical signs may mimick pheochromocytoma and the diagnosis of AIP would be delayed. We experienced a case of acute intermittent porphyria presenting with acute hypertension, mimicking pheochromo- cytoma in a 35 year-old female patient. She had history of two admissions to different hospitals with acute hypertension and abdominal pain. An extensive investigations had been done but no specific diagnosis was made. She had previously responded well to atenolol but after continuous treatement this led to hypotention. Her blood pressure was 210/140mmHg in both arms at admision to this hospital. She complained of acute abdominal pain and constipation, and she also had psychotic episodes. She had intermittent severe hypertension with the feature of pheochro- mocytorna. Tests for pheochromocytoma(including 24h urinary catecholamines, clonidine-inhibition test) were negative. Apart from slightly increased urinary excretion of catecholamines on one occasion, her symptoms were provoked by starvation and emotional stress and neurologic exami- nation revealed peripheral neuopathy. A screening test for porphobilinogen was strongly positive, but tests for uroporphyrin and coproporphyrin were negative. AIP was confirmed by clinical features and increased 24 hour urine delta-aminolevulinic acid(60.2 mg/1). Also, screening test for porphobilinogen was strongly positive in her mother and her brother. Supportive treatment with high glucose solution infusion and cimetidine resulted in symptomatic recovery and she was discharged after being educated on precipitating factors. The presenting feature of acute hypertension in this case baffled several doctors and the diagnosis of AIP was long delayed. AIP should be considered as one of the differential diagnosis of acute hypertension, especially when pheochrornocytoma is suspected but cannot be demonstrated.         The Effect of Mixed Cultivation Using Companion Plants on the Growth and Quality of Cherry Tomatoes

        Background and objective: Recent urban agriculture meets the needs of urban residents that safety and avoids using chemical pesticides. This study was conducted to identify various factors of companion planting affecting the growth of cherry tomatoes, which will promoting urban agriculture by improving socioeconomic satisfaction with gardening activities through quality. Methods: Four types of companion plants such as marigold, zinnia, spearmint and basil, that have a companion effect with growth, sugar content, and vitamin C content. We obtained the mean and standard deviation and tested the significance at a 95% confidence level (p < .05) with Duncan s multiple range test after one way ANOVA and MANOVA. Results: Compared to monoculture of cherry tomatoes, the plant growth in the treatment plots with companion planting showed a significant increase overall(p < .05), but there wasn t interaction effect among companion plants, planting ratio and type. As for the absorption of inorganic components, the companion planting showed better absorption than monoculture of cherry tomatoes, as favorable growth, and there was an interaction effect among the individual factors. The sugar content was higher than the standard sugar content of 5.8 brix in both the treatment plots at the control, and vitamin C content was higher than the control at 26.27mg/100g in all treatment plots, but there wasn t statistically significant difference. The soil pH in the cultivation plot ranges from 5.5 to 9.0 and was weakly alkaline in all treatment plots except zinnia, showing low contents of phosphoric acid, exchageable potassium, calcium and magnesium. Conclusion: This study was conducted to analyze various factors such as the growth of cherry tomatoes, contents of inorganic components, sugar content and vitamin C content of fruits, and soil analysis according to companion plants, planting type, and planting ratio. We will study sugar content by measuring the change in growth every phase of fruits.
