곰팡이 Botrytis cineria KT 433의 생육을 저지하는 항진균성 물질을 분비하는 균을 토양에서 분리하여 생산균을 동정하였다. 분리균주는 그람양성의 호기성균이었으며, 크림색의 둥근 점질성의 코로니 형태를 나타내었다. 24시간 배양 후 0.45×1.1 μm 크기의 간균 형태를 나타내었으며, 72시간 배양한 세포는 타원형의 내생포자가 관찰되었다. 생육을 위한 최적온도는 35℃, 생육 pH범위는 5.0~8.0이었으며, dextrin, maltose, glucose, mannose, ribose, cellosiose 등의 당을 이용하였다. 이상의 결과로 부터 분리균주는 Bacillus속으로 확인되었으며, 따라서 본 균주를 Bacillus sp. YJ-63으로 명명하였다. 분리균주에서 생산된 항생물질은 100℃와 121℃에서 안정하였으며, 효모와 곰팡이에서 특이적인 항균활성을 나타내었다. A bacterium prohibiting the growth of fungus Botrytis cineria KT 433 was isolated and identified from soil. The isolated strain was gram positive, aerobic bacteria with cream color, round and mucoid. It showed rod form of 0.45×1.1 μm at the cultivated for 24 hrs and the ellipsoided endospore were observed after culting for 72 hrs. The optimum growth temperature and pH were 35℃ and pH 5.0~8.0, respectively. It could assimilate dextrin, maltose, glucose, mannose, ribose and cellobiose as a sole carbon source. The isolated was confirmed to be a Bacillus sp. strain from the findings. The antibiotic from the isolated strain was stable up to 121℃. The strain, especially, showed specific activity for mold and yeast. However, there was not significant antibacterial activity.
통합교과적 체험 환경교육 프로그램이 초등학생의 환경태도에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to analyze elementary school students' attitudes through field-experience teaming activities program for the integrated textbook on the environment issues. This study was conducted after implementing the field environmental education for fifth graders with the teaching-teaming plan applied to the field education and was based on the analysis of environment-related education for the fifth graders. A total of 64 elementary students, 32 in the experimental group and 342 in the control group, were involved in this study. The study used the instrument consisting of 36 Likert-type questions on attitudes toward environment. After going over the influences of the field environmental education program on the students, we found out the positive development in the pre-test and post-test, concerning all environmental themes, especially in the field of protection of animals, environmental pollution, and environment in general.

In this study, we had tried to present a plan for improving the actual conditions of practical utilization of teaching material for 6th grade science developed by Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development and distributed to all elementary schools in Korea. Also we presented ways of better utilization of the teaching material after investigating the actual conditions of practical utilization. A survey was made to investigate and collect all data in the major metropolitan cities, the Kangwon, Chungcheong, Honam, and Kyeongsang area, respectively. We surveyed 316 6th grader teachers to investigate the actual conditions of distribution and utilization of teaching material as a general research. In addition, we surveyed 46 teachers to investigate the organization and content of teaching material as a particular research. The results are as follows. First, the teaching material was not approximately transmitted and kept to 6th grader teachers. Second, the utilization guide was not made. Third, it was reported that the thematic divisions of teaching material was a strong point, but the less detailed experiment manual was a weak point. Fourth, the consideration of content difficulties and simplicity was necessary to improve the material. Fifth, additional items should be included in the introductory presentation, convenience of reorganization, activity material causing learning interest, guidance of substitution experiment, and more concrete notice of experiment activity. Finally, there were positive responses of more than 4.0 point of Likert scale (1 to 5 point scale) in detail investigations of thematic items, which could have possibility that the teaching material was helpful to elementary school science field.
Bacillus sp. YJ-63이 생산하는 항곰팡이 항생물질의 구조분석

토양으로부터 분리한 Bacillus sp. YJ-63으로부터 항진균성 항생물질을 분리하여 그 구조를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 항생물질은 7개의 α-amino acid와 1개의 β-amino acid가 결합한 환상구조를 가지는 iturin E 계에 속하며 특히, β-amino acid의 methylene 수가 기존의 iturin E 보다 더 많은 것으로 나타났다. Structural analysis was performed by the ^1H-NMR, ^13C-NMR, amino acid composition analysis and FAB-mass. The instrumental analysis represented that the potential antifungal antibiotic belonged to the iturin E group antibiotic, consisting of 7 α-amino acid residues and a collection of β-amino acid with aliphatic side chain. Compared to the iturin E group, notably, the potent antifungal antibiotic from bacillus sp. YJ-63 carried longer β-amino acid side chain. In conclusion, these findings identified a potential antibiotic, which contained a stable cyclopeptide structure with long β-amino acid side chain.
