The effect of stimulation of the reticuloendothelial system with tubercle bacilli of the strain BCG on the growh of tumors has been studied extensively by many worker's since late 1950's and its has been well recognized that the nonespecific immunotherapy to the malignant cancer with BCG and its extractions was efficient method in the clinical oncology. However, inflammatory process and delayed cutaneous sensitivity reactions after inoculation of BCG or BCG extractions were still annoying side effects to be excluded. In 1974, Chung extracted a tuberculo-protein complex, tubercin-3, from virulent human type of tubercle bacilli and applied the material to the 30 cases of various cancer paitents with improvement of clinical signs for about 50% of the cases without notice-ables side effects. This studies were carried out to determine the pattern of circulatory clearance of tubercin-3 and its organ distribution after intravenous administration with following results: 1. A tuberculo-protein complex, tubercin-3, could easily labelled with ^131I by the method of McConahey in the pH 9.0. 2. ^131I-tubercin-3 showed rapid circulatory clearance curve after intravenous administration; about 60% of injected ^131I-tubercin-3 was disappeared within 10 minutes and 5% was remained at 24 hours after injection. No significant differences were noticed in the antigen clearance rate from the blood between control and steroid hormone treated animals. 3. The concentration of radioactivity per gram of tissue was highest in the kidney followed in order by spleen, lung, liver, in control and 60㎎/㎏ cortison treated animal. However, the lowest concentration was observed the spleen of 120㎎/㎏ cortisone treated animal.

In the 21th century, the environments of markets have cone through drastic chanties, which are ascribable to changes caused by the production and the consumption of Products. Consumers have a better eye for goods along with the enhancement of living standards, being exposed to a lot of chances to access information on products through a variety of media like computer network due to the advent of information society And channels to access customers directly have been diversified on account of the introduction of computers and the development of communications means in the field of production, and high productivity has been realized thanks to the development of technology such as automation. Accordingly, it is necessary that the past relationship between suppliers and customers should be reestablished where the latter had no choice but to make a purchase of products because of the lack of Products. The past producer-oriented society has changed into the customer-oriented society through the maturity of products and markets. The pattern of customers' Purchase has changed from quantitative expansion to qualitative satisfaction, which has made it much more challenging for designers to identify the needs of users and to reflect them into the development of products. It is highly demanded, in line with the flow of this age, that products should be user-oriented in accordance with the current management of client satisfaction. In a future, the key point of successful managing is to develop innovative differentiation stratey, and this paper shed light on mass customizing design as Part of the differentiation fit to these changes.

We analyzed the lowering of transmittance due to lateral field effect in the edge of pixel. We studied the method to solve the problem of VA-LCD. It occurred director distortion and transmittance lowering by strong lateral field in the edge of pixel. For analyzing the director distortion and improving the transmittance lowering, we applied the edge pattern to PVA-LCD of cross pattern. As a results, transmittance in the new VA modes were higher than that of conventional VA modes.
진폐증 환자의 결핵진단을 위한 중합효소연쇄반응법의 임상적응용

Recent development in thepolymerase chain reaction(PCR) has brought an extraordinary opportunity for the rapid detection of M. tuberculosis in clinical specimens for the diagnosis of tuberculosis. Pneumoconiosis is a sort of pulmonary fibrosis consequent to inhalation of the respirable dust. The association between pulmonary tuberculosis and pneumoconiosis is well recognized. There is a 10-fold increase in the tuberculosis risk among the workers who have pneumoconiosis demonstrated by chest roentgenogram. The physicians managing the patients with pneumoconiosis have to maintain a high index of suspicion for the development of mycobacterial infection, since the diagnosis of tuberculosis is often difficult. Mycobacterium tuberculosis is a very slow growing organism and acid-fast bacillus(AFB) staining frequently shows false negative results, and therefore PCR would be a very rapid, easy and sensitive diagnostic method for the diagnosis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in pneumoconiotic patients. To compare the PCR method with the conventional methods in diagnosing Mycobacterium tuberculosis in sputum, we used the sputa of 115 pneumoconiosis patients in Munkyeong Cheil Hospital. Of 32 pulmonary tuberculosis in the pneumoconiosis patients, 29 were PCR positive and were higher than 28, 20 positive by culture and AFB stain. Overall sensitivity, specificity, and which were 90.6, 91.5% respectively for the PCR assay ; 87.5, 100% for the culture method : 62.5, 98.7% for the AFB stain. The PCR assay is a rapid, efficient, sensitive method which can detect M. tuberculosis in pneumoconiosis patients, and further study should be followed for the development of the easier method.
