        디지털 트윈, 메타버스 등의 시대적 흐름에 대응하기 위해, 1)실사와 같은 실감성을 갖추고, 2)데이터 취득이 용이하며, 3)가벼운 데이터 저장 및 활용이 가능한 실내 공간 모델링의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 본 기고에서는 상기 세 가지 조건을 만족하는 TeeVR이라는 기술에 대해 소개하고, 기술의 혁신을 가능하게 한 “구조 기반 접근법”에 대해 소개한다. 마지막으로 아파트에서 전시홀에 이르는 scalable한 적용 예시와 웹(web)이나 스마트 폰과 같은 제한된 환경에서도 사용자 만족도가 높은 다양한 응용 예시를 설명한다.

        패널조사에서 비연속 응답 그룹 편향 보정을 위한 복합가중값

        Sample attrition according to a long-term tracking reduces the representativeness of the sample data in a panel study. Most panel surveys in South Korea and other countries have prepared response adjustment weights in order to solve problems regarding representativeness due to sample attrition. In this paper, we divided the panel data into continuous response group and non-continuous response group according to response patterns and considered a weighting adjustment method to reduce the bias of the non-continuous response group. A simulation indicated that the proposed composite estimation type weighting method, which reflected the characteristics of non-continuous response groups, could be more efficient than other weighting methods in terms of reducing non-response bias. As a case study, the proposed methods are applied to the Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing (KLoSA) data of the Korea Employment Information Service. 패널 자료는 자료가 축적되는 만큼 그 가치가 증대된다. 이와 동시에 장기추적에 따른 표본이탈은 자료의 신뢰성을 떨어뜨린다. 국내·외 대부분의 패널조사에서 가중값 보정을 통해 표본 이탈 문제를 해결하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 패널자료에서 차수별 응답여부에 따라 연속 응답 그룹과 비연속 응답 그룹으로 나누고, 비연속 응답 그룹에 대한 적정 가중값 산출방법을 검토하였다. 연속/비연속 응답그룹을 구분하여 비연속 응답 그룹의 응답자 특성을 반영한 복합추정 방식의 가중값 작성방법을 제안하고, 그룹의 구분 없이 작성하였던 기존의 가중값 작성방법과 새로 제안한 복합추정 방식의 가중값 산출방법의 효율성을 모의실험과 실증분석을 통해 살펴보았다. 결과적으로 새로 제안한 복합추정 방식의 가중값 산출방법은 기존 방법 보다 편향을 대폭 감소시킴을 모의실험을 통해 볼 수 있었다. 한편, 제시한 가중값 작성방법을 한국고용정보원 고령화연구패널에 적용한 결과도 제시하였다.

To James,the value in America is always unambiguous,where people pay a price for their moral conduct.In this regard, the main characters in james's works embody what James thinks is the American characteristics as represented in Christopher Newman's overconfidence , Isabel Archer's naive assumption of life,and Lambert Strether's excessive moral consciousness.James's concern,however,is not in the presentation of Americans whose ideas are thwarted in the different world of Europe.His real concern is to emphasize the complex fate of Americans:the danger and conflict that Americans inevitably get because of their limited social and cultural assets.Naturally Americans can be an easy victim to the outside world for the mirror image they have made.Because of the lack of the sense of history , culture,and various social institutions, Americans must get involved with other world to find out their defects as people and as a country.

        MYB class transcription factors bind to the tuber-specific and sucrose-response element of a class-I patatin promoter

        Class-I patatin genes, which encode the potato storage protein patatin, are tuber specific in their expression, and several promoter elements directing the tissuespecific expression of the patatin genes have been known for long time. However, the identity of the relevant transcription factors is still unknown. In this study, we show that K box, one of the protein-binding sites in a class-I patatin gene promoter, is a novel cis-regulatory element required for the tuber-specific expression of the gene. Subsequently, we isolated K-box-binding factors by yeast one-hybrid screening. Analysis of the factors revealed that they are MYB class transcription factors, which we named TSF1–4 (tuber-specific and sucrose-inducible elementbinding factors 1–4). TSFs possess transcriptional activity to various degrees, and overexpression of TSF2, which possesses the highest transcriptional activity, induced the ectopic expression of patatin genes in potato leaves. Our results strongly suggest that TSFs could play regulatory function in the expression of patatin genes in planta.

      • 교통소음의 영향인자에 관한 연구

        In recent years methods for evaluating the noise of different types of vehicles have been developed, In contrast, international methods to measure traffic noise do not exist, nor are there methods to seperately measure the influence of the road surface on traffic noise. The aim of this study is to evaluate the suitability of stationary and mobile techniques for measureing traffic noise on different road surfaces by directly comparing the results obtained from both techniques. The results show that significant differences were observed in the levels of noise emitted from various types of road pavements. The relative differences found in the two methods were broadly comparable, It can be concluded that both methods have advantages and disadvantages. The results bring into question the suitability of the stationary method for characterizing the influence of road surface on traffic noise, as the latter method relies on fixed reception points. Therefore. it seems that for characterizing the influence of road surface on traffic noise the trailer method is most suitable, while for characterizing the noise level at the receiver alongside the road, the traffic method is preferable.

        The bio-printing is a popular subject in the field of additive manufacturing(AM), yet it has been mainly addressed in medical science and material engineering. This study explored the possibilities of architectural use of bio-printing, focusing on the printability and scalability of bio-material composition. We developed an instrumental procedure and tools that enable composite-material (chlorella, clay, and extra additives) printing. A bio-printable paste extruder was installed on the industrial 6-axis robot arm to test various arrangements and configuration of building and bio-material mixture in the AM process. Test results showed that a high water-content ratio is prone to printability. When used ethanol improved cohesiveness of composites, but relatively large deformation was found in final shapes. The results of this study suggest that it is critical to have clearly informed physical characteristics of bio-material and mixture constituents for large-scale bio-printing. This work contributes to extend the knowledge of architectural AM using bio-printing technology.

        Ultrasonographic features differentiating thyroglossal duct cysts from dermoid cysts

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify ultrasonographic features that can be used to differentiate between thyroglossal duct cysts (TGDCs) and dermoid cysts (DCs). Methods: We searched surgical pathology reports completed between January 2004 and October 2015 and identified 66 patients with TGDCs or DCs who had undergone preoperative ultrasonography. The ultrasound images were reviewed by two radiologists who were blinded to the pathological diagnosis. They evaluated the following parameters: dimensions, shape, margin, location in relation to the midline, level in relation to the hyoid bone, attachment to the hyoid bone, the depth of the lesion in relation to the strap muscles, internal echogenicity, internal echogenic dots, multilocularity, the presence of a longitudinal extension into the tongue base, posterior acoustic enhancement, the presence of internal septae, and intralesional vascularity. Results: There were 50 TGDCs and 16 DCs. TGDCs were significantly more likely than DCs to have an irregular shape, an ill-defined margin, attachment to the hyoid bone, an intramuscular location, heterogeneous internal echogenicity, multilocularity, and longitudinal extension into the tongue base. Conclusion: Ultrasound findings may inform the differential diagnosis between TGDCs and DCs.

      • 월출산국립공원 수질특성에 관한 연구

        Because mountain streams have narrow widths and steep slopes compared to streams and lakes, hours of immobility are considerably short, and the quality of mountain streams has been greatly influenced by rainfall, land-use, components of the streambed and types of forests. During the summer when heavy rainfall occurs, eroded earth and sand flow into mountain streams and cause temporarily high turbidity. It is also the cause of eutrophication, which is frequently found in downstream. As evaluation standards for the quality of mountain streams were not established in Korea, this quality was evaluated by examining some items based on quality standards for drinkable water and research on the influences of pollution in mountain streams, which showed that these were seldom in downstream water systems. Mountain streams within Wolchulsan National Park flow into a reservoir and when characteristics of mountain streams from forests and rainfall that flow into mountain streams through forest ecosystems were studied, results of measuring its changes are as follows. Monthly changes of pH were low between April and August and higher starting October, and the EC was measured higher in the winter and the spring and tended to be low starting April. The EC on the 19th of May and the 23rd of October and the concentration of floating materials and COD_(Mn) were observed to be higher due to the influence of rainfall on the 19th of May and the 22nd of October, and it was judged that the washing out of dried deposits attached to the water pipe and the leaching of woods were influenced by rainfall. It is considered that real-time monitoring of water quality for a long time and water quality conditions during and after rainfall should be examined for ensuring basic data of water quality and evaluating characteristics and seasonableness of mountain streams, which may be greatly changed by artificial influence in the future.
