컨벤션기획사(PCO)의 핵심역량 우선순위에 관한 연구

본 연구는 코로나19 이후 엔데믹 시점에서, 행사 개최 건수는 늘어나고 전문인력은 부족한 상황에서, PCO 인력에게 요구되는 핵심역량이 무엇인지 우선순위를 밝히고자 하였다. 특히 미팅테크놀로지가 중요해진 시점에서 기술 역량이 중요하게 인지되는지를 확인하고, KSA(Knowledge-Skill-Attitude, 지식-기술-태도) 역량 중 어떠한 역량이 중시되는지 확인하고자 하였다. 또한, 각 역량 중 세부적으로 어떠한 역량이 중요한지를 확인하고자 하였다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 PCO를 선발하고 평가하는 업무를 수행하는 업계 임원 및 실무진을 대상으로 조사를 실시하였다. 역량의 우선순위를 도출하기 위하여 요인간 쌍대비교를 진행하는 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process, 계층적 의사결정방법)를 사용하였다. 연구결과 태도-기술-지식 순으로 중요도가 높게 나타났으며, 그 중 태도에 대한 상대적 중요도가 가장 높게 나타났다. 이는 코로나19 이전과 동일한 결과로 코로나19 이후에도 기술과 지식 역량에 선행하여 PCO들의 태도 역량 함양이 필요함을 의미한다. 각각의 역량별 분석결과를 살펴보면, 지식은 외국어 지식, 기본지식, 전문 지식 순으로 중요성이 높게 나타났으며, 기술의 경우는 커뮤니케이션 기술, 기획 및 운영 능력, 기술 활용 능력의 순으로 높게 나타났다. 마지막으로 태도의 경우 상황적응태도, 리더십 및 대인관계, 심신관리 태도 순으로 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 실제 PCO에게 중요한 핵심역량 우선순위를 밝혔다는 점에서 기존의 연구와 차별성을 가진다. 또한, 현장에서 필요로 하는 인재들에게 어떠한 역량을 함양해야 하는지를 제시하고 향후 역량 관련 연구를 위한 방향성을 제시하였다. This study sought to prioritize the core competencies required for PCOs in the post-COVID-19 pandemic era when the number of events is increasing and the number of professional staff is decreasing. We aimed to identify whether technical competencies are perceived as necessary when meeting technology has become essential and to identify which competencies among KSA (Knowledge-Skill-Attitude) competencies are emphasized. In addition, we wanted to identify the essential competencies within each competency. To accomplish our goals, we surveyed industry executives and practitioners involved in selecting and evaluating PCOs. To prioritize the competencies, we used the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), a hierarchical decision-making method that involves pairwise comparisons between factors. The results showed that attitude, skills, and knowledge were prioritized in order of importance, with attitude having the highest relative importance. This is the same result as before COVID-19, indicating that PCOs must improve their attitudinal competencies before skills and knowledge competencies after COVID-19. When analyzing the results of each competency, knowledge was ranked highest in order of importance, followed by foreign language knowledge, basic knowledge, and specialized knowledge. Skills were ranked highest in importance, followed by communication, planning, operational, and technology utilization skills. Finally, attitudes were found to be important in the order of situational adaptation, leadership and interpersonal relationships, and physical and mental management. This study differs from previous research in that it prioritizes the core competencies important to real-world PCOs. It also suggests what competencies should be cultivated in the field and provides directions for future competency-related research.

컨벤션 전문가 수준별 교육 프로그램 개발에 관한 연구

This paper aims to develop a graded program for the PCO based on a DACUM analysis. It is divided into two level categories based on four year career experience since the Grade 1 qualifications of convention planner accreditation test is four years’ experience. The paper also aims to design implementation methods of the program that meets the needs of students. A survey was conducted with 100 convention professionals (92 responded) in Seoul area over the period of ten months. With confirmed statistical data, a two-tier education program was developed through the expert consultation meeting comprised of three PCO professionals and one HRD expert. A short-term novice group tended to perform the computer-based office work and management of supplies and staff; A long-term advanced group was involved in business administration, marketing strategy development and budgeting. The meeting also analyzed students through CIT interviews and produced a learning environment that meets the needs of students. The effective time and venue for the program are: 3 hours per class from 7:30 in the evening in winter off-season at a school or a convention center. 3 to 6 months were recommended for the class of four-year-or less career group and 2 weeks to one month for the class of over four-year career students. Effective means of learning were found to be discussion, presentations, and other dynamic methods using contents approach. Moreover systematic tailored programs of expert education must be fully utilized by relevant academic associations, schools, and centers to produce high-quality convention experts.

소비자전시회의 체험요인(4Es)이 참관객의 만족과 행동의도에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 - 2019 캐릭터라이선싱페어 참관객을 중심으로 -

The purpose of this study is to reveal the impact of the exhibition experience factors on the visitors’ satisfaction and behavior intention, and the relationship between satisfaction and behavior intention as well. A theoretical review was conducted based on prior research on the Exhibition Experience Elements(4Es), Satisfaction and Behavior Intention in order to achieve the research objectives. In addition, a survey was conducted on 600 visitors to Character Licensing Fair. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, and regression analysis were performed using a total of 582 valid samples obtained through the survey for empirical analysis and hypothesis testing. As a result of identifying the impact of exhibition experience factors on satisfaction, educational and esthetic experiences were found to have a significant positive effect on information satisfaction, program satisfaction, and space satisfaction. However, entertainment experiences did not significantly affect information satisfaction and space satisfaction, while escapist experiences did not have a significant impact on program satisfaction and space satisfaction. Next, as a result of understanding the impact of exhibition experience factors on visitors' behavior intention, it was found that all experience factors have a positive influence on the visitor's behavior, and that the intention of revisiting is influential in the order of entertainment experience, escapist experience, educational experience, esthetic experience, and recommended intention is educational experience, escapist experience, entertainment experience, and esthetic experience. Lastly, as a result of understanding the impact of exhibition satisfaction on visitors' behavior, it was found that information satisfaction, program satisfaction, and space satisfaction all had significant positive effects on behavior intention, and both the intention of revisiting and the intention of recommending them were influential in order of program satisfaction, guidance satisfaction, and space satisfaction. In summary, except for some experience factors, the exhibition's experience factors have a significant impact on exhibition satisfaction and behavior, and there is a significant correlation between exhibition satisfaction and behavior. Therefore, the exhibition organizers and exhibitors should focus on finding ways to develop the exhibition by strengthening the factors of experience. 본 연구는 전시회의 체험요인이 참관객의 전시회 만족도와 참관객의 행동의도에 미치는 영향과 만족도와 행동의도 간의 영향관계를 밝히고자 하였다. 연구 목적의 효과적인 달성을 위하여 전시회체험요인, 만족도, 행동의도에 대한 선행연구 분석을 실시하였으며, 캐릭터라이선싱페어 참관객 600여명을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 실증분석과 가설검증을 위하여 설문조사를 통해 얻어진 총 582부의 유효표본을 활용하여 빈도분석, 요인분석, 회귀분석 등을 수행하였다. 가설검증 결과에 있어서 전시회 체험요인이 전시회 만족도에 미치는 영향을 파악한 결과, 교육적 체험과 심미적 체험은 안내만족, 프로그램만족, 공간만족에 모두 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 오락적 체험은 안내만족 및 공간만족에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났고, 일탈적 체험은 프로그램만족 및 공간만족에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로 전시회 체험요인이 참관객의 행동의도에 미치는 영향을 파악한 결과 모든 체험요인이 참관객의 행동의도에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 재방문 의도에는 오락적 체험, 일탈적 체험, 교육적 체험, 심미적 체험 순으로 영향력이 크고, 추천 의도에는 교육적 체험, 일탈적 체험, 오락적 체험, 심미적 체험 순으로 영향력이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 전시회 만족도가 참관객의 행동의도에 미치는 영향을 파악한 결과, 안내만족, 프로그램만족, 공간만족 모두 행동의도에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 재방문 의도와 추천의도에 모두 프로그램만족, 안내만족, 공간만족 순으로 영향력이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 요약하면 일부 체험요인을 제외하고는 전시회의 체험요인이 전시회 만족 및 행동의도에 유의한 영향을 미치고, 전시회 만족과 행동의도 간에도 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 체험요인강화를 통한 전시회 발전방안 모색을 주력해야할 것이다.

지역특화컨벤션 참가 만족이 효과 인식과 지지도에 미치는 영향 연구: 성남시 국제의료관광컨벤션을 중심으로

Purpose – The local specialized convention has become a benefit to local region. Therefore, the objective of this research is to examine the effects of convention satisfaction on supports and impact perception, as well as the effect of impact perception on support. Research Design, data, and methodology – From the literature review, the measurement scales of convention satisfaction, impact perception, and support were identified and revised for this study. The data were obtained from convention participants at '2019 Seongnam International Medical Tourism Convention' in Gyeonggido, Seongnam. In total, 212 valid data were used to examine the relations among convention satisfaction, impact perception, and support. Result – The results indicated that convention satisfaction had a significant influence on support and all components of impact perception: economic impact, social impact, and constructing image. impact and Moreover, all the impact perception factors revealed to have significant positive effects on support. Conclusions – The results offer some insights into satisfaction on impact perception and support in the context of the local specialized convention. Theoretically, this study provides a new type of conceptual framework that verifies relationships between not only convention satisfaction and impact perception, but also convention support. More theoretical and practical implications are discussed in the conclusion section.

지속가능한 MICE행사 개최에 관한 탐색적 연구: 고양시를 중심으로 주최자 관점에서

This study is an exploratory study on the sustainable management of MICE events, and was conducted using the FGI method. Twelve experts in the MICE field, industry, and academia were selected as the subjects of the study. The reason is that understanding and specialty of those targets provides research reliability and validity. The study period was 3 months from June to August 2021. As a result, it is very important to prepare a sustainable development strategy in the MICE industry, and in particular, the need for guidelines to be practiced during event operation from the organizer's point of view was derived. In addition, to derive items that can be used in practice based on the theoretical basis, and it was necessary to derive research results using internationally recognized Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and sustainable MICE research developed in the fields of tourism and MICE. Therefore, through the verification of such experts in the field of MICE, theoretical and practical guidelines from the perspective of the organizer that can be used when holding MICE were developed. The results of the study will provide implications for establishing more effective strategies for hosting sustainable MICE events in the future. 본 연구는 지속가능한 MICE행사 운영에 관한 탐색적 연구이며, FGI 방법으로 수행되었다. 연구대상은 MICE분야 업계, 학계 등 전문성을 가진 12명을 선정하였는데 본 연구의 경우 무엇보다 연구내용에 대한 전문성과 특수성이 연구의 신뢰도를 높이고 타당성을 확보하는 원천이기 때문이다. 연구기간은 2021년 6월~8월까지 3개월간 진행되었다. 연구의 결과, MICE산업에서 지속가능한 발전 전략을 마련하는 것은 매우 중요하며, 특히 주최자관점에서 행사 운영 시 실천해야할 가이드라인의 필요성이 도출되었다. 또한 이론적 근거를 바탕으로 실무에서 활용 가능한 항목 도출이 중요하며, 국제적으로 통용되는 지속가능한 발전목표(UNSDGs) 및 관광 및 MICE분야에서 개발되었던 지속가능한 MICE 연구를 활용한 연구 결과 도출이 요구되었다. 따라서 이와 같은 MICE분야 전문가들의 검증을 통해 MICE 개최 시 활용가능한 주최자관점에서의 이론적, 실무적 가이드라인이 개발되었다. 연구의 결과는 향후 지속가능한 MICE행사 개최에 있어 보다 효과적인 전략 수립을 위한 시사점을 제공할 것이다.

김환기 현대문인화의 소박미 고찰

This thesis is a study of the aesthetic consciousness of Koreans, particularly on the ‘austerity’ or ‘simplicity’ shown in contemporary Korean literati painting. This theme may seem at odds with this era of materialism. However, we are now in an acute crisis to the extent that we have to reflect on our civilization. We have to change our elemental attitude towards nature to overcome this crisis mankind faces today. This is the reason why ‘austerity’ as part of our aesthetics is urgently required, and this study aims to fulfill that purpose. The more common synonym of ‘austere’ used in everyday life is ‘frugal’ i.e., trying not to be extravagant or excessive with spending and possessions. Aesthetically, however, its meaning includes thoughts on nature that are much more profound than this. If we can properly understand and practice this sense of the word, we will find out what our decisive mistakes have been and figure out how to supplement and overcome them. This study examines Korea’s ‘austere beauty’ and outlines the simple and austere beauty shown in contemporary Korean literati painting. Literati painting captures the essence of nature through the flow of instantaneous energy that interacts with nature, emptying the artist's mind. The works of Kim Whanki analyzed to showcase how this tradition was inherited in contemporary Korean literati painting. Through this analysis, we confirm that the unique austere and simple beauty of Korea can have a competitive edge in contemporary art. 본 논문은 김환기 현대문인화의 ‘소박미’를 고찰한 것이다. 요즘처럼 황금만능주의 시대에 ‘소박’이라는 주제는 왠지 사회적 요구와 동떨어져 보일 수도 있다. 그러나 우리는 지금 물질문명에 취해 정신없이 달려온 인간 문명을 반성하지 않으면 안 될 정도로 심각한 위기에 처해 있다. 이처럼 오늘날 인류에게 닥친 위기를 극복하기 위해서는 자연에 대한 인간의 근본적 태도가 변하지 않으면 안 된다. 이것이 오늘날 미학으로서의 ‘소박’이 우리에게 절실하게 요청되는 이유이자 본 논문의 목적이다. 일상에서 흔히 사용하는 ‘소박하다’라는 말은 사치스럽거나 과하지 않고 ‘검소하다’는 의미이다. 그러나 미학적으로 ‘소박’의 의미는 그보다 훨씬 심오한 자연에 대한 사유를 담고 있다. 이러한 의미를 제대로 이해하고 실천할 수 있다면, 우리의 결정적 과오가 무엇인지를 찾아내고, 이를 어떻게 보완하고 극복해야 할지를 가늠하게 될 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 한국의 ‘소박미’에 대한 내용을 살펴보고, 이를 바탕으로 한국 현대문인화에 나타난 소박미에 대하여 논술하였다. 문인화는 작가가 마음을 비우고 자연과 물아교융하는 순간적인 기의 흐름을 통하여 자연의 본질을 포착하고자 했다는 점에서 한국의 소박미를 대표하는 장르로 볼 수 있다. 이에 한국의 소박미가 한국 현대문인화에 어떻게 계승되고 있는지를 살펴보기 위해서 김환기의 작품을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 한국 특유의 소박미가 현대 미술에서도 여전히 경쟁력을 가질 수 있음을 확인할 수 있을 것이다.
