다층박막을 이용한 플라스틱 ITO 필름의 bending에 따른 전기적 특성 연구

We investigated transmittance, surface characteristics, and resistivity according to bending of ITO(indium tin oxide) film with four other multi -harrier film). Transmission data of ITO film with four ITO films showed there was about large 90% transmission above 550nm wavelength at three multi-barrier structures. But, both-side hard coated structure showed relatively low 75% transmission above 550nm wavelength. And, surface images measured from SEM (scanning electron microscope) showed both-side hard coated structure have a tendency of more roughness. Also, resistivity change of four other multi-barrier film showed there was the lowest change at one-side hardcoated structure. Subsequently, with result of resistivity change according to position, we knew the resistivity change of the center increased rapidly than that of the edge.

In this paper, we investigated the position dependent stress distribution of indium-tin-oxide (ITO) film on Polycarbonate (PC) substrate by external bending force. It was found that there are the maximum crack density at the center position and decreasing crack density as goes to the edge, In accordance with crack distribution, it was observed that the change of electrical resistivity of ITO islands is maximum at the center and decrease as goes to the edge. From the result that crack density is increasing at same island position as face plate distance (L) decreases, it is evident that the more stress is imposed on same island position as L decreases.

In this study, we investigated the necessity of encapsulation layer to maximize flexibility of brittle indium-tin-oxide (ITO) on polymer substrates. And, Young's modulus (E) of encapsulation layer han a significant effect on external bending stress and the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) of that han a significant effect on internal thermal stress. To compare the magnitude of total mechanical stress including both bending stress and thermal stress, the mechanical stress of triple-layer structure (substrate / ITO / encapsulation layer or substrate / buffer layer / ITO) can be quantified and numerically analyzed through the farthest cracked island position. As a result, it should be noted that multi-layer structures with more elastic encapsulation material have small mechanical stress compared to that of buffer and encapsulation structure of large Young's modulus material when they were externally bent.

Spontaneous renal ruptures are clinically unusual, and usually occur secondary to various kinds of underlying disease, such as a benign or malignant tumor, vascular disease and infection, etc. A renal cell carcinoma is the most common cause, and those caused by a transitional cell carcinoma are extremely rare. Herein is reported our experience of a case of a spontaneous rupture, with a renal pelvis transitional cell carcinoma, in a 48-year-old man. (Korean J Urol 2004;45:1066-1068)

Single-walled carbon nanotubes, confined to lines of a few micron widths on line patterned substrates prepared via micro-contact printing, are studied using Raman spectroscopy. For the CNT tangential mode, the so-called G-band, the Raman intensity shows distinct anisotropy that changes with the polarization directions of the incident and the scattered photons. The anisotropy is more distinct for samples with line-patterns of narrower line-width, which indicates an increasing degree of CNT alignment along the patterned line direction with decreasing patterned line-width.
인쇄 방식의 부패생성물 감지 색변환 센서 제조를 위한 잉크 조성물 연구

본 논문에서는 국민생활안전에 밀접한 영향을 미치는 식품안전 패키징 기술 개발을 위하여, 식품의 신선도를 나타낼 수 있고, 신선식품의 부패 과정에서 발생하는 휘발성 염기질소 등 다양한 부패생성물을 감지하기 위한 색변환 센서기술을 연구하였다. 잉크젯, 바-코팅, 그라비아 등의 다양한 인쇄 방법을 통해 원가 경쟁 력이 우수한 스마트 패키징 제품 개발을 위해 신선육의 부패에 따른 pH 변화 범위 내에서 분명한 색변환 특성을 나타내는 염료와 수용성 고분자 지지체를 활용해 신선도 지시계 용도의 잉크를 제조 한 후, 소고기, 닭고기, 돼지고기 등의 신선육의 부패에 따른 휘발성 염기질소 반응 정도를 측정하여 센서의 감도 및 신뢰도를 연구하였다. Here we study on a color-shifting sensor for applications to the smart soft film packaging products of fresh foods as a important safety issue in our daily life. For detecting volatile basic nitrogen (VBN) compounds which are generated during spoiling of fresh foods, we prepared printable inks with an appropriate viscosity and compatibility for using various graphic arts printing techniques, such as inkjet printing, bar-coating, and gravure printing. Those sensor inks have the optimized material composition that composed of color-shifting chemical dyes within a pH range of pH color change, a polymer support and ethanol-based green chemical solvents. After fabrication of fresh indicators for indicating freshness of meats, such as pork, beef and chicken, sensitivity and reliability of sensors are tested under environment with the VBN gaseous species.
Retrovesical Multilocular Prostatic Cystadenoma Mimicking a Pelvic Cavity Tumor

We report the case of a 58-year-old man with a multilocular prostatic cystadenoma in the retrovesical space that mimicked a pelvic cavity tumor. Multilocular prostatic cystadenoma is a rare form of benign prostatic hyperplasia that originates from the prostate with extensive spread into the pelvis. Histologically, the tumor consisted of glands and cysts lined by prostatic-type epithelium lying in a hypocellular fibrous stroma. For a cystic tumor adjacent to the urinary tract, ectopic prostatic cystadenoma is needed to be considered in the differential diagnosis of pelvic cavity tumors.

Spontaneous testicular hemorrhagic necrosis is a rare disease usually associated with testicular torsion. Partially involved and suspicious testis tumor cases are also defined from orchiectomy specimens. Herein, a spontaneous hemorrhagic necrosis, without any testicular torsion, but with involvement of the whole testicle and epididymis, is reported. A 21 year old patient, who presented with a painless left testicular enlargement of several days duration was believed, based on physical examination, ultrasonography and elevation of serum LDH, to have a testicular tumor. Diagnosis was made only after radical orchiectomy and histopathological examination. (Korean J Urol 2004;45:962-964)
