        Optimization of DME Reforming using Steam Plasma

        In today's global energy market, the importance of green energy is emerging. Hydrogen energy is the future clean energy source and one of the pollution-free energy sources. In particular, the fuel cell method using hydrogen enhances the flexibility of renewable energy and enables energy storage and conversion for a long time. Therefore, it is considered to be a solution that can solve environmental problems caused by the use of fossil resources and energy problems caused by exhaustion of resources simultaneously. The purpose of this study is to efficiently produce hydrogen using plasma, and to study the optimization of DME reforming by checking the reforming reaction and yield according to temperature. The research method uses a 2.45 GHz electromagnetic plasma torch to produce hydrogen by reforming DME(Di Methyl Ether), a clean fuel. Gasification analysis was performed under low temperature conditions (T3 = 1100°C), low temperature peroxygen conditions (T3 = 1100°C), and high temperature conditions (T3 = 1376°C). The low temperature gasification analysis showed that methane is generated due to unstable reforming reaction near 1100℃. The low temperature peroxygen gasification analysis showed less hydrogen but more carbon dioxide than the low temperature gasification analysis. Gasification analysis at high temperature indicated that methane was generated from about 1150°C, but it was not generated above 1200°C. In conclusion, the higher the temperature during the reforming reaction, the higher the proportion of hydrogen, but the higher the proportion of CO. However, it was confirmed that the problem of heat loss and reforming occurred due to the structural problem of the gasifier. In future developments, there is a need to reduce incomplete combustion by improving gasifiers to obtain high yields of hydrogen and to reduce the generation of gases such as carbon monoxide and methane. The optimization plan to produce hydrogen by steam plasma reforming of DME proposed in this study is expected to make a meaningful contribution to producing eco-friendly and renewable energy in the future.

        As a result of extensive research efforts on the oriental medicinal herbs, some of their interesting biological activities have been elucidated. In the present study, antifatigue effects of two natural food supplements consisting of oriental herbs, Vital and Vigilor, were investigated using the ICR mice. The mice were fed with antibiotic-free normal mouse feed containing Vital or Vigilor for 14,28, or 31 days and then subjected to forced swim tests. In a test carried out in melting-ice water, Vital and Vigilor significantly increased the exhaustion times of the 28 day-fed mice by 26.9 % (p < 0.01) and 16.2% (p < 0.05), respectively. However, in the other test performed at 15±0.5℃ using 31 day-fed mice, Vigilor failed to increase the exhaustion time significantly (at p< 0.05), while Vital showed antifatigue effect by increasing the swimming time by 29.9% (p<0.01). Neither of Vital nor Vigilor exerted antifatigue effects in a swim test carried out on day 14 after the initiation of feeding. These results suggest that Vital and Vigilor exhert antifatigue effets when administered for a sufficient period of time by enhancing the health of the host animals.

        In order to develope a new composite to be used as immunopotentiating health food, the composites including extracts of Sparassis crispa, Grifola frondosa, Phellinus linteus, red ginseng, and Oxya japonica were prepared and tested for their antitumor immunoactivities. Of these, the composite G3, which contained the extracts of S. crispa (20%), G. frondosa (55%), P. linteus (5%), red ginseng (10%), and O. japonica (10%), showed marked lymphoblastogenic activity on the in vitro cultured BALB/c mouse splenic lymphocytes and successfully suppressed the growth of sarcoma 180 cells implanted into the peritoneum of ICR mice. Moreover, the composite G3 exerted antitumor activity against sarcoma 180 tumor cells subcutaneously implanted into the left groin of ICR mice with the tumor inhibition ratio of 46.2%.

        인터넷 뱅킹 이용자들이 지각하는 신뢰와 위험 요인간의 관계에 대한 실증 연구

        There are a lot of customers who are sceptical or suspicious about the transaction procedures and the quality of products and services that are offered online. In a recent study, only 29% of online customers felt that they trust commercial web sites, and 80% insisted that it be important to be able to trust information on web sites. Although trust has received extensive and well-deserved attention in prior research, more studies are needed to clarify the role of trust in electronic commerce area. Since the need for trust in general arises in a risky situation, researchers have recognized that risk is very important to understand trust. Therefore, we designed a research model covering party trust, control trust, perceived risk and use intention. We collected data from subjects who have the experience of internet banking. Data analysis was conducted using factor analysis, covariance structure analysis by SPSS 11.0 and Amos 4.0 package. The findings of this study are as follows. First, control trust which consists of perceived security control and perceived privacy control and party trust covering perceived benevolence and perceived integrity did not have any significant impact on perceived risk. Second, party trust encompassing perceived benevolence and perceived integrity and perceived risk independently significantly influenced use intention whereas control trust including perceived security control and perceived privacy control did not. Third, party trust covering perceived benevolence and perceived integrity contributed to the enhancement of control trust including perceived security control and perceived privacy control. 일반적으로 신뢰는 위험이 존재하는 상황에서 발생하기 때문에 연구자들은 신뢰를 이해하기 위해서는 위험도 함께 고려해야 한다고 주장해 왔다. 하지만 위험이 신뢰의 요인인지 혹은 신뢰의 결과인지에 대한 혼란으로 인하여 신뢰와 위험의 관계에 대한 합의는 지금까지 존재하지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 신뢰와 위험의 관계를 고찰하기 위한 목적으로 신뢰를 거래주체 신뢰와 제어체계 신뢰로 구분하고 거래주체 신뢰와 제어체계 신뢰, 인지된 위험 그리고 이용의도를 포함하는 연구 모델을 설계하였다. 160명의 인터넷 뱅킹 유경험자들로부터 데이터를 수집하였으며 요인 분석, 공분산 구조분석 등을 이용하여 데이터 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 지각된 보안 통제와 지각된 프라이버시 통제로 구성된 제어체계 신뢰와 지각된 호혜성과 지각된 진실성으로 구성된 거래주체 신뢰는 인지된 위험에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 제어체계 신뢰는 인지된 위험에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 반면, 거래주체 신뢰는 인지된 위험과 함께 이용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 거래주체 신뢰는 지각된 보안 통제와 지각된 프라이버시 통제로 구성된 제어체계 신뢰에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
