데이트 강간의 여성 인식에 관한 문헌통계학적 접근

성폭력에 대한 많은 선행연구에서 보여주듯 낯선사람으로부터 당하는 일반강간 보다는 대부분의 강간이 오히려 지인(知人)인 경우가 더 많다. 특히 지인강간 중에서도 데이트상대에 의해서 일어난다는 사실을 생각할 때 가장 보편화된 성폭력인 데이트 강간에 대한 체계적이고 학문적인 연구의 필요성을 느끼지 않을 수 없다. 최근에 국내에서 실시된 데이트 강간에 대한 연구에서도 문제의 심각성을 여실히 드러내고 있다. 조사에서 보면 20.5%의 여성들이 데이트 강간 피해경험을 보고하였다. 그러나 일반적인 강간 피해자들보다 데이트 강간 피해자들이 관련기관에 피해사실을 신고하는 경우는 훨씬 드물다. 그 이유는 데이트강간의 경우 피해자 혹은 가해자 자신들도 피해나 가해사실을 조금은 과격한 성관계나 성접촉을 가진 것으로 생각할 뿐 성폭력으로 인식하지 않기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구는 Michael Shively, Perceived Risks of Date Rape, Judith M.Sgarzi, Victimology 을 바탕으로 데이트강간의 선행연구결과들을 소개코자 한다. As shown in many precedent studies of sex violation, many rapes are done by acquaintances rather than strangers. Among them specially many are the cases carried out by date partners and so it is necessary to study on the date rape systematically and academically which is the most common sex violation. A recent study on the date rape executed in the country shows the seriousness of the problem clearly. The survey reported that 20.5 percentages of women had experienced the harmfulness of date rape. However compared with the general injured women, the injured ones of date rape rarely report it to related organs. The reason is that in the case of date rape both the injured ones and offenders just think of the injured things or offending works as a little excessive sexual relation or sexual contact, but not recognize it as sex violation. Therefore this study will introduce the results of precedent studies on the date rape based on the contents of Michael Shively, Perceived Risks of Date Rape, Judith M. Sgarzi, Victimology, and also introduce the prevention of the injury its countermeasures.

성폭력에 대한 통념과 성관련 경험이 여대생의 성적 자기주장에 미치는 영향

This research is to study factors of affecting sexual assertiveness of female students of universities in order to prevent university students from sexual problems. The factors include empirical factors such as sexual damage, abuse, and sexual experience and psychological factors such as a common idea of sexual violence and tolerance towards violence on dating. In addition, regression analysis among subordinate factors was carried out to study how a common idea of sexual violence and tolerance towards violence on dating affect sexual assertiveness of female students of universities when empirical factors is under same control. For these studies, 240 data obtained by surveying female students of universities located in a middle region of South Korea were analyzed. Correlation analysis and regression analysis were carried out through the collected data. SPSS 15.0 Program was used for these analyses. There are five abridged consequences of this research. First of all, there is a significantly negative correlation between sexual assertiveness of female students of universities and both a common idea of sexual violence and sexual experience, but a positive correlation between sexual assertiveness of female students of universities and tolerance towards violence on dating. Secondly, personality and physical damage in the past don't significantly affect sexual assertiveness of female students of universities, but sexual experiences do. Thus, The more sexual experiences are, the lower the level of sexual assertiveness is. Thirdly, a common idea of sexual violence of female students of universities significantly affects sexual assertiveness of them. Fourthly, when sexual experiences, which is the one of the empirical factors, of female students of universities is under same control, a common idea of sexual experience still affects sexual assertiveness of them. Finally, ‘misunderstanding of the opposite sex's behavior’ and ‘a false report of lechery and rape’ affect disallowance of sexual relations. That is, this common idea of sexual violence such as the misunderstanding and the false report makes it difficult to disallow sexual intercourse. Through these consequences, proposals for further discussion and study are included in this research.

Liz's Awakening in "Up in Michigan". The New Studies of English Language & Literature 51 (2012): 87-103. This paper is to examine Liz Coates' date/rape by Jim Gilmore. She thinks much about Jim while he's on a deer hunting trip with friends, and she's sure something will happen when he gets back from the trip. But when he returns, he gets drunk with friends and sexually abuses Liz in an act that would be called the "date rape." She's frightened by his advances, but because she doesn't know what else to do, she lets him take her out to the dock, where she tries to stop him from sexual intercourse but cannot, so he had to have it. She realizes that the sex with him is so different from the dreams she has had of it. Afterward she realizes that everything felt gone, but keeps him to be safe by her coates covered. Accordingly we can know that "Michigan" is not date/rape story, but Liz's hoping relation with him. (Jeonju University)

성관계 제안을 거절당한 사람의 행동 양상과 설득에 의한 성관계 동의 수준 평가의 성차: 연인 관계를 중심으로

his study examined sexual communication in romantic relationship focusing on the patterns of behavior of those whose sexual advances have been rejected. Study 1 investigated the behavior patterns of those who were rejected when making sexual advances by using a romantic relationship scenario. Study 2 explored how participants predicted the behavior patterns of those who were rejected depending on the gender of the rejectee. We also analyzed how participants evaluated the level of consent to sexual relations depending on the viewpoint of those who made the sexual advance or those who compliance, when the sexual relations by persuasion. The behavior patterns of those who were rejected were classified into five factors including ‘showing discomfort and manipulation’, ‘concern about changes in relationship’, ‘approach and persuasion’, ‘respect and acceptance’, and ‘consideration of feeling.’ In condition where the man was rejected, male participants were most likely to do ‘respect and acceptance’ behavior, whereas female participants were most likely to do ‘approach and persuasion’ behavior. In condition where the woman was rejected, both male and female participants were likely to do ‘respect and acceptance’ behavior. In condition where man had a sexual relation with women through persuasion, female participants rated the perceived women's level of consent who complied with the sexual relations lower than male participants. They also rated the men's perceived women's level of consent higher than male participants. In condition where woman had a sexual relation with men through persuasion, the male participants rated the perceived man's level of consent who complied with the sexual relations higher than female counterparts. Such results were discussed in sexual scripts and cognitive dissonance, and suggested of the risk of date rape.

성폭력 피해자/생존자로서의 근대 최고 여성작가 김명순

근대최초의 여성작가 김명순은 탕녀의 대표적인 표상으로 인식되고 있다. 그러나 김명순은 데이트강간과 조선지식인남성들과 언론이 가한 2차 성폭력의 피해자이다. 성폭력의 피해자가 오히려 비난받은 가부장적 사회문화 속에서 김명순은 어머니가 기생 출신의 소실이었다는 사실이 덧붙여져 성적으로 문란한 여성으로 비난의 대상이 되었다. 성폭력 피해자 김명순은 일반적인 피해자들과 마찬가지로 고통을 겪었다. 우울증과 히스테리, 자살시도,남성과의 성관계와 결혼기피, 성폭력자들에 대한 분노와 증오로 복수를 꿈꾸었다. 또한, 자신의 고통을 통해 여성이 남성으로부터 억압을 비판하고 해방을 꿈꾸지만 홀로 이를 성취할 수 없음에 좌절하였다. 그러나 김명순은 홀로 처절한 노력과 종교의 힘으로 성폭력자들을 용서하였고 생존자로 거듭났다. 그러나 김동인이 김명순을 모델로 했다는 「김연실전」을 연재하기 시작하자 조선사회에서 사라졌는데, 그 이후의 김명순의 삶은 앞으로 연구해야 할 과제로 남아있다. Kim Myoung Soon, one of earliest Korean modern women writers has been known as a symbol of femme fatal. However, Kim was a victim of `date rape` and secondary sexual violence imposed by male intellectuals and media of Chosun. Under patriarchal socio-cultural background where victims of sexual violences are blamed, the fact that Kim`s mother was an ex-gisaeng concubine was added to brand Kim as sexually promiscuous. Like any victim of violence, Kim suffered from aftereffect-depression, hysteria, series of suicidal attempts, fear of sexual relationship with men and marriage, and rage and hatred against the attackers. Kim criticized the oppression women suffer from men and dream of women`s liberation, only to be disheartened by awareness that she alone cannot achieve the goal. However, through wretched effort and the power of religious(catholic) prayers, she forgave the attackers and was reborn as a survivor. When Kim Dong-in started to publish a novel `a story of Kim YeonSil` in serials, which allegedly was taken from the life of Kim Myoung Soon, she disappeared from Chosun society. The remaining life story of Kim is to be researched.

아동기 직ㆍ간접적 폭력 경험이 미혼 성인 남성의 데이트폭력에 대한 편견에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of parental abuse experience and parental violence experiences on the prejudice against dating violence in Korean adult males. In order to accomplish this research purpose, I used data of 'Survey on the Actual Status of Dating Violence' conducted by the Korea Institute of Criminal Policy. The prejudice of the dependent variable, dating violence, was divided into five sub - factors such as behavior control, physical violence bias, violence justification, rape myth, and sex coercion. As an independent variable, indirect experience of violence experienced emotional violence and experience of physical violence experienced by parents, and emotional abuse experience from parent and physical abuse experience from parent were used for direct violence experience. As a result, among the experiences of indirect violence, the sight of emotional violence had a static influence on rape myths, and physical violence witnessed a static influence on behavior control and physical violence prejudice. Physical abuse in the experience of direct violence affects behavior control and physical violence bias, and emotional abuse does not have a significant effect on prejudice.

보건의료직과 법행정직의 데이트 성폭력 인식도와 강간통념이 피해자 초점 문제해결접근 행위에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 보건의료직과 법행정직의 데이트 성폭력 인식도 및 강간통념의 수준을 파악하고 성폭력 문제해결접근 행위에 미치는 영향 요인을 확인하였다. D시의 보건의료직과 K시의 법행정직으로 총 212명을 대상으로 편의표집 하고 통계 분석하였다. 보건의료직에는 문제해결접근 행위와 유의한 상관관계를 나타내지 않았으나, 법행정직에서는 문제해결접근 행위는 데이트 성폭력 인식도와 정의 상관관계, 강간통념은 부의 상관관계를 나타내었다. 문제해결접근 행위에 미치는 영향 요인으로는 법행정직에서 데이트 성폭력 인식도와 강간통념이 유의하게 영향을 미치며, 18.8 %의 설명력을 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 데이트 성폭력 피해자들을 위한 근무현장에서 효율적인 중재를 위한 유용한 근거자료를 제공할 것이며 보건행정직의 문제해결접근 행위에서 다른 영향력 있는 변수를 규명하는 것이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

경찰의 데이트폭력 대응체계 및 피해자 보호방안

Violent crimes against women in the modern society are becoming more diverse and fierce. Police are preparing various response formats to cope with violent crimes against women and making efforts to protect crime victims, but crime targeting women continues to increase. Dating violent crime is the most widespread and commonly occurring female crime, and this study identifies the actual conditions of dating violent crime, identifies the characteristics of violent acts, proposes an effective response system for coping with the police, It is for the purpose of proposal. 현대사회에서 여성에 대한 폭력범죄는 그 유형이 다양해지고 흉폭해지는 양상을 보이고 있다. 경찰은 여성폭력범죄에 대응하기 위해 다양한 대응체재를 마련하고 범죄피해자 보호를 위한 노력을 기울이고 있으나 여성을 대상으로 하는 범죄는 계속 증가하는 추세이다. 데이트폭력범죄는 가장 광범위하고 일반적으로 발생하는 여성대상 범죄이며 이 연구는 데이트폭력범죄의 실태를 파악하고 폭력행위의 특징을 파악하여 경찰대응에 있어 효과적인 대응체제를 제안하고 나아가 데이트폭력피해자 보호를 위한 제언을 목적으로 한다.

Because data rape drugs have disinhibiting sedative and amnesiac properties, they are being used to make sexual assault victims helpless. The drugs are usually administered to the victim in an alcoholic drink at a bar club, party, social event and so on. The drugs MDMA, Ketamine, GHB, GBL, Rohypnol, LSD, PCP, and methamphetamine are included in these categories, but it is possible for them to be used frequently in conjunction with alcohol or other drugs. Police departments often say that after ingestion of these drugs, some women have reported waking up in frat houses with no clothes on, finding themselves in unfamiliar surroundings with unfamiliar people, or having actually been sexually assaulted while under the influence of the drug. We only hope that this study may be helpful in establishing a care system for sexual assault victims and in determining of the etiology of sexual assault.

나르시시즘과 성별에 따른 성폭력 인식의 차이

This study aimed to investigate the effects of narcissism and gender on perceptions of sexual violence. Participants consisted of 133 undergraduate students who read one of two scenarios in which sexual violence did or did not occur in a dating situation and answered five questions related to perceptions of sexual violence: sincerity of woman’s refusal, woman’s unpleasantness, woman’s sexual satisfaction, violence of man’s behavior, and masculinity of man’s behavior. The results showed significant two-way interactions between participant gender and sexual violence (present vs. absent) and between narcissism and sexual violence in most cases. Specifically, men and individuals high in narcissism were more tolerant of sexual violence compared to women and those low in narcissism, respectively. This study contributes to the literature in that it replicated the effect of gender on perceptions of sexual violence using the everyday context of dating sexual assault. More importantly, this study demonstrated that narcissism is related to tolerant perceptions of sexual assault.
