이 연구는 “초기 한국 사회복지학은 어떤 영향을 받아 무슨 내용으로 형성되었는가?”라는 연구주제를 역사주의(historicism) 관점에서 파악하여 한국 사회복지학의 출발점을 살피는 데 목적이 있다. 1세대 연구자가 저술한 개론서 세권을 기본 자료 삼아, 1) 원본의 역사적 개요, 2) 연구자의 개인사적 성향, 3) 주요 용어의 역사적 적용, 4) 사회복지학 내용의 역사적 맥락과 같은 틀을 만들어 분석하였다. 연구결과를 토대로 한국 사회복지학 형성과 관련하여, 1) 개론서 내용을 만회하기 위해 생존하고 있는 1세대 연구자로부터의 자료수집, 2) 기독교의 영향에 관한 연구, 3) 외국 원조 기관의 영향에 관한 연구, 4) 미국과 일본 사회복지학의 영향에 관한 연구, 5) 초기 이후 어떻게 변화했는지를 규명하는 연구 들이 필요함을 제언하였다. 아울러 각 저술과 연구자 개인사에 관한 연구를 더욱 상세하고 충실히 진행하지 못한 점을 이 연구의 한계로 꼽았다. This study has aimed to observe the starting point of Korean social welfare studies with the perspective of historicism. Basically, this study has focused on the following research question; by what kind of influences and contents had been built Korean social welfare studies in the early days? The collected data from introductory texts which had been written by the first generation of Korean social welfare studies was analyzed according to the framework as follows; 1) historical summary of the texts, 2) individual historical disposition of the writers, 3) historical application of the principle terms, and 4) historical context of the contents for social welfare studies. As results, some issues related with the formation of Korean social welfare studies are stressed as follows; 1) data collecting from the first generation of the researchers and writers for recovering the introductory texts, 2) study of the influences of christianity, 3) study on the influences of aid agencies from oversees, 4) study on the influence of the mixed with American and Japanese social welfare studies, and 5) study on the examination of developing process of Korean social welfare studies afterward. Finally, the limit of this study that the individual history of writers could not cope detailed and deeply is mentioned.

언어 네트워크 분석 방법을 활용한 한국어 강연 어휘 분석 연구 - <세상을 바꾸는 시간, 15분> 소개글을 중심으로

본 연구는 <세상을 바꾸는 시간, 15분> 강연 프로그램의 소개글에 나타나는 어휘를텍스트 마이닝을 활용하여 분석하고, 이를 통해 주제별 강연을 목록화하는 것을 목적으로 한다. <세바시>는 세 개의 주제로 분류되었으며, 다음과 같은 함의를 지닌다. 첫째, ‘가족과 사회적 연결’ 주제를 통해 한국 문화에서 가족은 중요한 사회적 단위로 인식되고 있음을 확인하였으며, 이를 통해 학습자들은 한국 사회에서의 가족 및 사회적관계의 중요성과 행복 추구에 대한 이해를 발전시킬 수 있을 것이다. 둘째, ‘성공과 내면의 행복’ 주제를 통해 개인의 내면적 성장, 목표 달성, 자아 인식 등이 행복 추구와관계를 맺고 있음을 확인하였으며, 이를 통해 학습자들은 자신의 가치를 인정받고 성공과 행복을 동시에 추구하는 사회적 관점을 이해할 수 있을 것이다. 셋째, ‘사회 변화와 기술 혁신’ 주제를 통해 세상, 미래, 사회와 같은 핵심 어휘의 출현이 잦음을 확인하였으며, 이를 통해 학습자들은 사회적 관계에 대한 인식을 고찰하고 기술적 진보와지식의 중요성을 이해할 수 있을 것이다. 결론적으로 본 연구를 통해 학습자들은 <세바시>의 다양한 주제 내에서 어휘를 확장함으로써 언어 능력을 향상시킬 수 있다. This study uses text mining to analyze the lexical corpus found in the introductory phrase of South Korean “Sebasi Talk” speeches, categorizing the speeches into different topics. Sebasi Talk speeches can be classed into three themes with the following implications. First, through the theme “Family and Social Connections,” Korean learners can develop an understanding of the importance of family, social relationships, and the pursuit of happiness as the theme conveys the significance of the family as a social unit in Korean culture. Second, the theme of “Personality and Happiness of Success,” enables learners to understand the social perspective of being recognized for their values and pursuing success and happiness simultaneously, as the theme indicates that personality growth, goal achievement, and self-awareness are related to pursuing happiness. Third, through the theme “Social Change and Technological Innovation,” learners can examine the perception of social relationships and understand the importance of technological progress and knowledge, considering that keywords such as world, future, and society appear frequently in this theme. Consequently, this study can help learners improve their language skills by expanding their vocabulary range through the various topics of Sebasi Talks.

개론서에 대한 평가는 대체로 두 가지 시각에서 논의된다. 첫째는 목차구성을 통해 학문의 범위와 각 장별 중요연구 성과를 집약적으로 정리하여 어떻게 체계화하였는가에 대해 집중된다. 둘째는 여러 성과물을 가운데 어떠한 개념이 선택되어 개론서에 배치되어 집필되고 있는가하는 문제이다. 이 논문은 한국과 일본의 개론서의 통해 양국의 민속학적 경향과 특성을 알아보고자 하였다. 여러 개론서 중에서 한일 양국의 첫 민속학개론서이거나 출판연대가 비슷하고 학계의 의견이 반영되어 비교적 독자층을 확보한 서적 3권을 각각 선택하여 비교하였다. 한일 민속학개론서는 공히 민속학이 과거의 학문인가 현재의 학문인가에 대한 물음과 더불어 과거와 현재가 연속적인 것으로 파악하고 현재중심의 학문이 되어야 한다는 학문적 성격을 명확히 하고 있다. 그러나 한국민속학개론서는 과거중심으로 일상생활을 이해하려는 학문으로 개론서가 집필되고 있다. 또한 다수의 학자가 집필하여 일관성이 결여된다는 지적에 대해 양국의 개론서 공히 자인하고 있으나 불가피한 것으로 여겨진다. 단 각 개론서는 학문적 범위와 성향을 반영하는 길잡이라 한다면 한국의 민속학개론서에는 집필자의 의도를 파악하기 어렵고 연구 성과를 정리한데 그친 아쉬운 면이 있다. 개론서의 목차는 민속의 형성과 각 분야별 연구 성향을 이해하는 좌표이다. 한국의 개론서는 민속을 구비문학, 민간신앙, 의식주생활, 통과의례, 민속예술 등이 공통으로 각 장에서 독립적으로 서술되어 있어 분야별 연구 성과를 잘 정리하고 있으나 각 분야별 상관관계를 파악하기 어려운 점이 있다. 일본의 개론서의 목차는 민속을 사회적, 경제적, 문화적 측면에서 전승을 논하거나 또는 시간과 공간의 양축으로 민속이 형성되는지를 논하고 있어 각 개론서별 특징이 나타나 있다. 현대에 농촌의 과소화에 따른 도시민속학이나 현대민속학의 필요성도 강조한 점이 일본민속학 개론서의 특징이기도하다. 역사학의 보조학문으로 출발한 일본민속학과 국문학의 보조학문으로 출발한 한국민속학이지만 두 나라의 민속학이지만 독립학문으로 점차 사회에 참여하는 실천민속을 추구하고 있다. 한일 공히 민속학의 개념정립과 더불어 새로운 개론서에 집필방향을 모색할 시기이다.

본 연구는 영미문학 작품을 접할 기회가 적은 영어교육과 학생을 대상으로 문학에 대한 막연한 두려움을 없애고 효과적으로 작품을 감상할 수 있도록 하는 목적으로 진행되었다. 교과과정 상 영어교육이나 영어학에 비해 상대적으로 적은 수의 교과목을 갖고 있는 영미문학 수업 중 소설을 다루면서 단편소설, 특히 소설의 도입부를 활용하여 학생들로 하여금 작품에 몰입하고 스스로 분석할 수 있는 능력을 배양하도록 유도하였다. 현재 우리나라의 영문과나 영어교육과에서 흔히 다루는 대표적인 단편소설의 도입부를 소개하고 학생 스스로 해결할 수 있는 문제를 제시함으로써, 처음엔 다소 낯설고 어렵게 느껴지는 영미소설 읽기가 도전해 볼만한 것임을 알게 해주었다. 비록 많은 작품의 도입부를 다루지는 않았다고 할지 라도 본 연구에서 제시한 부분과 문제를 토대로 다른 작품에도 쉽게 적용 될 수 있을 것이다 Students in English Education do not have many chances to be exposed to English literature. This study aims to help those students reduce, and eventually remove, their inner burden and vague fear toward literature and effectively appreciate literary works. To do so, I used short stories in class, from those which are assumed to be read by or at least known to students, to those that are probably new to them. Students were asked to focus especially on the introductory parts of the stories with some guideline questions given in advance. At first, they felt awkward and uncomfortable with the situation in which to read ‘a literary work’; but as the semester moved on, they seemed to think that they were putting a puzzle together, rather than reading a literary work. Therefore, an effective literature class, above all other considerations, should help remove students`` preconceived notion that literature is impractical and difficult.
