        청소년 봉사활동의 실태 및 발전과제

        이 글에서는 청소년 봉사활동의 실태를 전반적으로 살펴보고 발전과제를 모색해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 청소년 봉사활동의 개념, 청소년 봉사활동의 의의, 청소년 봉사활동의 현황에 대해 살펴보고, 청소년 봉사활동의 성과 및 문제점에 대해 살펴 본 후, 마지막으로, 청소년 봉사활동의 몇 가지 향후 발전과제를 제시해보았다. 한국의 청소년 봉사활동은 장기간의 사회적 노력으로 지원조직의 체계화, 관리시스템의 체계화, 참여인원수의 증가 등 많은 성과를 거두기도 했지만, 입시위주의 학생생활문화의 한계, 상급학교 진학연계의 한계, 봉사활동 교육의 부족, 봉사활동 전문성의 부족, 진로발달단계를 고려한 봉사활동 특성화 미비, 봉사활동에 대한 평가 미비 등의 여러 가지 문제점도 나타내고 있다. 그 결과 한국의 청소년 봉사활동은 소극적, 형식적, 시간채우기식으로 참여하는 양상을 보이고 있다. 이러한 문제점의 개선을 위한 향후 발전과제로 첫째, 청소년대상 봉사활동관련 교육의 실시, 둘째, 교사 및 지도자 대상 봉사활동 관련 교육의 실시, 셋째, 재능기부의 활성화, 넷째, 진로발달단계별 봉사활동 프로그램의 특성화, 다섯째, 봉사활동 후 평가의 제도화를 제시하였다. The purpose of this article was to investigate the overall situation of youth voluntary activities and seek the development tasks. To achieve this goal, I investigated the concept, the significance and the current situation of youth voluntary activities. I looked into the achievements and problems of youth voluntary activities and then presented future development tasks of youth voluntary activities. Youth voluntary activities in Korea obtain many achievements such as the systematization of support organization, the systematization of management system and increase in the number of participants with long-term social efforts. However, there are still several problems such as limitation of college entrance exam-centered student living culture, limitation of association with entering the advanced schools, lack of education of voluntary activities, lack of expertise of voluntary activities, lack of specialized voluntary activities with consideration of career development steps and lack of evaluation on voluntary activities. As a result, youth voluntary activities in Korea tend to be passive, perfunctory and time-consuming. Future development tasks to improve these problems are as follows: First, education related to voluntary activities is given to the youth. Second, education related to voluntary activities is given to teachers and leaders. Third, talent donation is activated. Fourth, programs of voluntary activities are specialized in each career development step. Fifth, the post-evaluation of voluntary activities is institutionalized.

        앵커드수업 활동이 경도지적장애학생의 주의집중과 수업참여 및 또래 관계에 미치는 효과

        이 연구는 앵커드수업 활동이 경도지적장애학생의 주의집중과 수업참여 및 또래관계에 미치는 효과를 알아보는데 연구의 목적을 둔 실험연구이다. 연구의 대상은 대도시에 소재한 초등학교 4학년 통합학급에 다니고 있는 특수교육대상 학생3명으로 연구설계는 동일한 상황에서 동일한 목표 행동을 보이는 여러 명의 대상자들에게 유사한 행동 변화에 대한 중재전략의 효과를 검증할 수 있는 대상자간 중다기초선 설계를 사용하였다. 이 연구를 통해서 얻어진 결론은 앵커드수업 활동이 경도지적장애학생의 주의집중과 자발적 수업참여 및 또래관계에 미치는 효과가 높은 것으로 나타나 경도지적장애 학생들을 앵커드수업 활동으로 지도하면 효율적인 통합교육이 이루어질 수 있음을 시사해 주고 있다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of anchored instruction activities on the attention, voluntary instruction participation and peer relationship of children with mild disabilities. The specific research questions were (a) whether students who participated in an anchored instruction activities program demonstrated greater gains in the attention than students who did not participate in an anchored instruction program, and (b) whether students who participated in an anchored instruction activities program demonstrated greater gains in the voluntary instruction participation than students who did not participate in an anchored instruction activities program, and (c) whether students who participated in an anchored instruction activities program demonstrated greater gains in the peer relationship than students who did not participate in an anchored instruction activities program. The participants of the study were three fourth-grade children with mild disabilities. This study employed multiple baseline across subjects. The independent variable was a anchored instruction activities and the dependent variables were the attention, voluntary instruction participation and peer relationship. The participants of the study received anchored instruction activities implemented in 23, forty-minutes class hours over 3 to 5-week periods. Anchored instruction activities was implemented in five phases: (a) setting the stage, (b) watching the anchor, (c) identifying the problem, (d) solving the problem, (e) presentation and discussion. The results of the study are as follows: First, there were positive effects on the increase of attention through anchored instruction activities. The increase of attention through anchored instruction activities at school was also generalized in different situations. Also, after the termination of the intervention, effectiveness of the intervention was maintained. Second, there were positive effects on the increase of voluntary instruction participation through anchored instruction activities. The increase of voluntary instruction participation through anchored instruction activities at school was also generalized in different situations. Also, after the termination of the intervention, effectiveness of the intervention was maintained. Third, there were positive effects on the increase of peer relationship through anchored instruction activities. The increase of peer relationship through anchored instruction activities at school was also generalized in different situations. Also, after the termination of the intervention, effectiveness of the intervention was maintained. Therefore, this result indicated that anchored instruction activities employed in this study was an effective instruction program to fostering attention, voluntary instruction participation, and peer relationship of children with mild disabilities.

        시각장애인 골퍼의 여가활동을 위한 자원봉사자의 참여 동기와 지속에 대한 연구

        The present study is aimed at investigating on motivation and willingness to persistence of voluntary golfers for blind golfers. The study conducted focus group interview with 7 participants, which were selected from purposive sampling. The findings from the interview are as follows. First, the voluntary golfers reported the profound gratification by participating in the voluntary activities. By doing physical activities as leisure activity, They've developed the bond of sympathy with blind golfers. Their deep gratification facilitates voluntary golfers' positive motivation and willingness to persistence of voluntary work. Second, 7 voluntary golfers in the interview (n=7) were encouraged by the other voluntary golfers to start their voluntary works at first time. Lastly, voluntary golfers reported that they've developed their physical strength from the work and it allows them to continue to participate in voluntary golfing. During the play, participants were asked to have the same amount of physical activities as like a real golf play. Although the blind golfers are playing golf, the voluntary golfers also need to follow the same steps of mental and physical golf plays. In conclusion, the present study proposes that voluntary golfers are highly satisfied with their work since the voluntary leisure activities provide them to develop the profound gratification to continue to play golf with blind golfers.

        중학교 자율동아리 참여 학생의 셀프리더십이 학습몰입에 미치는 영향: 미술활동을 중심으로

        The purpose of the study is to provide suggestions related to voluntary club activities and self-leadership of middle school students in public education to achieve learning flow. It is also to identify the self-leadership of students who participate in voluntary club activities centered on art activities, and to investigate the relationship between self-leadership and learning flow. For the purpose of the study, the empirical research was designed through a questionnaire and interviews after examining theoretical consideration on the educational effects of voluntary club activities centered on art activities, and the significances of self-leadership, and learning flow. 108 students from 8 middle schools participated in 10 voluntary club activities centered on art activities in the metropolitan area, and in order to understand the aspects of self-leadership in voluntary club activities, a subjective questionnaire was distributed, and interviews were conducted with the teacher in charge. Also, a questionnaire with proven reliability and validity was selected and a quantitative survey was conducted to establish the relationship between self-leadership and learning flow. The frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis of quantitative results showed that self-leadership of students who participated in voluntary club activities had a meaningful influence on learning flow and it has been confirmed that there was a difference in the extent of the influence in that sub-variables of self-leadership affected the sub-variables of learning flow. In addition, through a subjective questionnaire and interviews, it was found that students who participated in voluntary club activities showed self-leadership in their art activities. I hope students will be able to experience learning flow more by providing them with opportunities to develop self-leadership in the future. 본 연구의 목적은 공교육에서 중학생들이 학습몰입을 이루기 위해 자율동아리와 셀프리더십과 관련한 제안점을 제공하는 것으로, 미술활동 중심의 자율동아리에 참여하는 학생의 셀프리더십을 파악하고 학습몰입 간의 관계를 규명하는 데 있다. 연구를 위하여 미술활동 중심의 자율동아리의 교육적 효과와 셀프리더십, 학습몰입의 의의에 대한 이론적 고찰을 한 뒤 설문과 인터뷰를 통한 실증연구를 설계하였다. 수도권 소재의 8개 학교, 10 곳의 미술활동 중심의 자율동아리 참여 중학생 108명을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 동아리활동에서 셀프리더십의 발휘 양상을 파악하기 위해 주관식 설문을 배부하고 담당교사와 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 또한 셀프리더십과 학습몰입 간의 관계를 규명하기 위해 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증받은 설문지를 선정하여 정량적 조사를 하였다. 양적 결과에 대해 빈도분석, 기술통계, 신뢰도분석, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시한 결과 자율동아리 참여 학생의 셀프리더십은 학습몰입에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 셀프리더십의 하위변인이 학습몰입의 하위변인에 영향을 미치는 영향력의 크기에 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 주관식 문항과 인터뷰를 통하여 자율동아리에 참여 학생들이 미술활동에서 셀프리더십을 발휘하고 있음을 밝혀냈다. 앞으로 셀프리더십을 개발할 수 있는 교육의 기회를 제공함으로써 학생들이 학습몰입을 더 많이 경험할 수 있기를 기대해 본다.

        대학 인문학 수업에서 농촌봉사활동의 연계 활용과 그 영향

        이 글은 대학 인문학 수업을 통한 농촌봉사활동에의 참여가 수강생들에게 어떤 긍정적인 효과를 끼치는지를 분석하고 있다. 이를 위하여 숙명여대 인문학 수업을 듣는 수강생들과 함께 농촌봉사활동에 참여하였고, 이들을 대상으로 설문조사와 인 터뷰를 실시하였다. 그 결과는 크게 세 가지로 요약할 수 있다. 첫째, 농활의 참여는 교수자와 수강생, 그리고 수강생들 사이의 친밀감을 형성하였고, 이를 통해 수업 내용에 대한 이해와 수용의 정도를 향상시킬 수 있었다. 기존의 연구에 따르면, 단순 히 유익한 정보가 주어진다고 사람의 생각이 바뀌거나, 새로운 가치가 형성되는 것은 아니라고 한다. 의사소통 관련자들의 친밀한 관계가 전제될 때, 소통되는 정보가 사람들의 가치 형성이나 판단에 긍정적 영향을 끼친다는 것이다. 이러한 이론이 대 학의 교육 현장에도 적용된다는 점을 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째, 농활 참여를 통한 친밀성 형성은 수업 참여의 동기와 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 끼친다. 수강생들과의 친밀한 관계는 수업에 대한 관심과 동기를 유발하여 질문이나 토론에 적극적으로 참 여하게 한다는 것이다. 마지막으로 농활 참여는 다른 입장의 사람들에 대한 사고를 자극함으로써, 다른 사람들을 이해하는 ‘동감’의 능력과 자신 입장을 상대화할 수 있는 ‘성찰’의 능력을 향상시킨다. 이것들은 현대 다원주의 사회에서 인문학이 목표로 하는 가장 중요한 시민 미덕들이라고 할 수 있다. 이런 의미에서 농활은 인문학의 궁극적인 정신과도 밀접한 관련성이 있다고 하겠다. This essay analyzes the effects of the participation in the voluntary activities on students in humanities class. For this purpose, after participating in the voluntary activities for rural communities with students who are taking the humanities class at Sookmyung Women s University, the researcher conducted survey and interviews. The results can be summarized as follows. First, through participating in the voluntary activities for rural communities, teachers and students could form the sense of intimacy, which in turn increased the degree of understanding and acceptance of class contents among students. The former studies have showed that value formation and value judgment could not simply be achieved through the acquisition of objective information. In other words, the intimate relationships among those involved in communication should be premised in order for the information to have positive influence on value formation and value judgment. This finding has been applied to the college education field. Second, the formation of intimacy through sharing the experience of the voluntary activities offered motivation for class participation and cultivated positive attitude in the class. Especially, the intimate relationships promoted the interest in the classroom, and the motivated students participated in class discussion more actively. Finally, the participation in the voluntary activities improved sympathy, the ability to understand others, and reflection, the ability to relativize their own position by instigating to consider others in different positions. Sympathy and reflection are the most important civic virtues that the humanities aim to cultivate among the citizens of the contemporary pluralistic society. In this sense, the voluntary activities for rural communities are closely related to the ultimate spirit of the humanities.

        자율방범대원 활동 영향요인에 관한 연구

        이 연구의 목적은 자율방범활동에 미치는 영향요인을 분석하는데 있다. 지역에 대한 애착, 주민 유대감, 지역사회 참여경험, 치안불안감, 활동 효능감, 조직몰입, 활동에 대한 지원의 7가지 영향요인 을 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 3개의 모델로 분석하였다. 모델1은 지역애착, 주민 유대감, 참여경험, 치안 불안감의 4개 변수, 모델2는 활동 효능감, 조직몰 입의 2개 변수를 추가하고, 모델3은 활동지원의 1개 변수를 추가하여 회귀분석 하였다. 분석결과 모델1에서 지역애착, 주민 유대감, 참여경험은 자율방범활동에 통계적으로 유의하게 긍 정적인 영향을 미쳤으나, 치안 불안감은 유의하지 않았다. 모델2에서 활동 효능감, 조직몰입은 유의 하게 긍정적 영향을 미쳤으나, 모델1에서 유의하게 나타난 지역애착, 주민 유대감, 참여경험이 유의 하지 않았다. 모델3에서 활동 효능감, 조직몰입이 유의하게 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났 으나, 활동지원은 오히려 통계적으로 유의하게 자율방범활동에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악 되었다. 활동 효능감과 조직몰입의 상대적인 영향력은 활동 효능감이 보다 큰 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 지역애착, 주민 유대감, 참여경험은 자율방범활동에 유의한 영향을 미치지만, 활동 효 능감, 조직몰입 변수의 상대적 영향력이 이를 압도할 만큼 크며, 자율방범활동에 대한 재정적 지원 이 오히려 긍정적이지 않은 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 파악하였다. 정책적으로 자율방범활동의 효능감을 향상시키고, 조직몰입을 강화하는 방안을 모색할 필요가 있으 며, 행정의 지원은 관리와 관여가 아니라 자생력을 키우는 방향이 되어야 함을 제시하였다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors affecting the activities of the voluntary neighborhood watchmen. The seven factors, the local affection, the residents' bond, the experience of community participation, the sense of security anxiety, the efficacy of activities, organizational commitment, and support for activities were analyzed in three models through hierarchical regression analysis. Model 1 was regressed by four variables: local affection, residents' bond, participation experience, and security anxiety; Model 2 added two variables: activity efficacy and organizational commitment; and Model 3 added one variable: support activities. As a result of the analysis, local affection, residents' bond and participation experience in Model 1 had statistically significant positive effects on autonomous crime prevention activities, but the security anxiety was not significant. Although the activity efficacy and organizational commitment in Model 2 had significant positive effects, the local affection, residents' bond and participation experience in Model 1 were not significant. Although model 3 showed significant positive effects on activity efficacy and organizational commitment, support for activities was found to have a statistically significant negative impact on voluntary crime prevention activities. The relative influence of activity efficacy has been shown to be greater than organizational commitment In conclusion, it was understood that local affection, residents' bond, and participation experience have significant effects on autonomous crime prevention activities, but the relative influence of activity efficacy and organizational commitment variables is overwhelming, and financial support for autonomous crime prevention activities can have a negative impact. It was suggested that it was necessary to improve the effectiveness of voluntary crime prevention activities and seek ways to strengthen organizational commitment in policies, and that administrative support should be a direction to develop self-sustaining power, not management and involvement.

        해외교육봉사활동을 인솔하는 교수의 삶과 배움

        대학생 해외교육봉사활동을 인솔하는 일은 매우 힘들지만, 이것을 계속하는 교수들이 있다. 이 연구는 해외교육봉사활동에 대해 연구하는 장기 프로젝트의 일부로, 봉사활동을 인솔하는 교수의 경험에 대해 살펴보는 것을 목표로 한다. 이 연구의 참여자는 국립국제교육원의 지원을 받아 해외교육봉사활동을 1회 이상 운영한 교수 7명이다. 봉사활동 일지, 봉사활동 평가 회의록, SNS 대화 내용 등을 모아 기본 자료로 삼고, 참여자 면담을 하여 자료를 수집하였다. 자료 분석 결과는 문화역사활동이론에서 활동체계를 구성하는 6가지 요소에 따라 봉사활동 인솔교수의 삶과 배움의 내용을 기술하였다. 인솔교수는 봉사활동에 많은 시간을 소모하지만 보람을 느끼고, 삶의 모습이 변화된다. 현지에서 많은 문제를 해결하고 개인적인 어려움을 극복하며, 의사소통과 쉼의 중요성, 현지어 학습의 중요성과 정보 공유의 중요성을 깨닫는다. 봉사활동 중 안전 관리, 예산 관리, 현지 기관이나 현지인과 긴밀한 협조 및 의견 조율의 중요성을 깨달으며, 가족과 일상의 소중함도 느낀다. 다양한 역할을 수행하며, 자기 관리와 적절한 역할 배분의 중요성을 알게 된다. 활동체계 안에서 나타나는 갈등은 봉사활동에 대한 가치관이나 태도에 영향을 주며, 인솔교수와 봉사단원의 배움과 발전에 기여한다. 인솔교수는 봉사활동 전체 과정에서 긍정과 부정의 감정을 다양하게 경험하며, 이 연구를 진행하면서 힐링과 행복감을 느꼈다. 이 논문은 봉사활동 관리자 교육에 참고자료로 유용하게 활용될 수 있다. Undertaking overseas educational voluntary activity for university students is very hard, but some professors continue to do this. As part of a long-term research project on overseas educational voluntary activity, this study aims to explore the experiences of professors leading such voluntary activities. The participants were seven professors who had more than once led an overseas educational voluntary activity supported by the National Institute for International Education. We collected data from participants interviews, based on voluntary activity journals, evaluation meeting reports, and dialogues in social network service as basic data sources. Based on data analysis, we described the participants lives and what they learned from their experiences according to the six elements of the Cultural-Historical Activity Theory. Although the activity was time intensive, the professors found it worthwhile and believed that certain aspects of their lives had subsequently changed. They realized the importance of communication, rest, learning the local language, and sharing information while they solved problems and overcame personal challenges. Furthermore, they recognized the significance of safety management, budgeting, close collaboration, and getting along with the locals, as well as the value of their families and everyday lives. As they took on diverse roles, they acknowledged the importance of self-management and adequate role distribution. Conflicts in the activity system affected their values and attitudes toward voluntary activity in a way that contributed to their learning and growth. The professors experienced many different kinds of feelings, both positive and negative, throughout the voluntary activity, which made them experience healing and happiness. This paper can be used as a useful reference to educate voluntary activity managers.

        농촌청소년의 봉사활동 만족도 영향요인 연구 -강원지역을 중심으로-

        This study is to aim at examining participant motivation, activities' recognition, affinityin the human relationships relevant factors which might obviously affect the ruraladolescents' the satisfaction of voluntary service activities in an integrated way, havingpoorly studied so far. We classified the satisfaction of voluntary service activities into sustainable willingnessand activities' devotion for understanding it more precisely. For achieving this purpose, we surveyed 480 rural adolescents in four areas andanalyzed 470 answers with multiple regression model. The results are as follows. it appeared that participant motivation, activities'recognition, affinity in the human relationships had significantly influenced on the ruraladolescents' the satisfaction of voluntary service activities. In detail, participant motivation,activities' recognition, affinity in the human relationships had significantly influenced onthe rural adolescents' sustainable willingness and activities' devotionOn a basis of these results, how to guide and assist the rural adolescents forenhancing the satisfaction of voluntary service activities are further discussed. 본 연구의 목적은 농촌지역 청소년들을 대상으로 봉사활동 만족도에 영향을 미치는참여동기, 활동업무 인식도, 대인관계 친밀도 등의 관련요인들의 영향관계를 통합적으로알아보는 것이다. 또한 봉사활동 만족도를 활동지속의지와 활동몰입의 측면으로 나누어살펴봄으로써 보다 구체적인 차원에서 농촌청소년들의 봉사활동 만족도 증진을 위한 실천적인 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위하여, 2013년 8월~9월, 2개월 동안 강원도 4개농촌지역의 청소년 480명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하고 470명의 응답자에 대한 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 참여동기, 활동업무 인식도, 대인관계 친밀도 모두가 농촌청소년 봉사활동만족도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 봉사활동 만족도 하위 구성요소별로세부적으로 영향관계를 살펴보면, 참여동기, 활동업무 인식도, 대인관계 친밀도 모두가활동지속의지와 활동몰입 각각의 구성요소에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 토대로 향후 청소년복지 실천현장에서의 농촌청소년의 봉사활동 만족도 향상 및 봉사활동 활성화 등에 대한 함의를 논의하였다

        비사회학적 변수에 따른 육사생도의 자율체육활동 참가유형에 관한 문화기술적 연구

        In order to find out participation pattern and characteristics of KMA cadets` voluntary extracurricular physical activities in accordance with a three-dimensional variables, this research was conducted through Enthnographic analysis, a kind of qualitative method. Firstly, despite the fact that there is a comprehensive range of physical exercise facilities, the cadets prefer soccer and basketball with low flexibility value (regulations, special equipment, and restricted conditions). They also prefer weight training and swimming that are easily accessible. Therefore, the participation pattern has turned out to be limited. Secondly, since voluntary extracurricular physical activities at KMA. can be performed within a certain period of time (from 17:00 to 18:00), strictness concerned with time and climate variables is a major deterrent for cadets usage of such time. Especially, the preferred activities differ from season to season along with spatial limitation (lots of cadets trying to do the same physical activity). Thirdly, since problems with skill level is related to individual satisfaction, they put a significant amount of effect upon the participation pattern of future physical activities. As a result, the cadets concentrate on activities that do not require high level of technical skills such as soccer, basketball, swimming, and weight training. Also, female cadets concentrate on activities that can be performed alone such as swimming and weight training. In sum, the participation pattern of KMA cadets during their voluntary extracurricular physical activities has turned out to be limited due to the fact that the infrastructure for physical activities were not put to its maximum use.

        The purpose of the study is to research the present status of university students voluntary activities and to find out factors that influencing the satisfaction level of their voluntary activities. In order to do that, I set up three important questions and searched for answers Those three questions are: 1. What is the difference of the present status of satisfaction level of voluntary activities of university students who have different socio-demographic factors? and how socio demographic factors influencing the satisfaction level of university students' voluntary activities? 2. How the types of job influencing the satisfaction level of university students' vol-untary activities? 3. How the relationship with others influencing the satisfaction level of university students' voluntary activities? The results of the study were as follows: First, the satisfaction level of the students with volunteer work was above the average. The factors that was significantly correlated to their satisfaction level with volunteer work were gender, religious factors, volunteer work subject taking a course number of times, volunteer work experience existence and nonexistence. Second, the factors that was significantly correlated to their satisfaction level with volunteer work were types of job. Third, relationship with others is important factor that influencing the satisfaction level. The result says that strong relationship with friends, co-workers (voluntary activities) and staff from the work (voluntary activities) place, support from them and satisfaction of the work make their duration longer and make their will stronger.
