Attention Capsule Network for Aspect-Level Sentiment Classification
( Yu Deng ),( Hang Lei ),( Xiaoyu Li ),( Yiou Lin ),( Wangchi Cheng ),( Shan Yang ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2021 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.15 No.4
As a fine-grained classification problem, aspect-level sentiment classification predicts the sentiment polarity for different aspects in context. To address this issue, researchers have widely used attention mechanisms to abstract the relationship between context and aspects. Still, it is difficult to effectively obtain a more profound semantic representation, and the strong correlation between local context features and the aspect-based sentiment is rarely considered. In this paper, a hybrid attention capsule network for aspect-level sentiment classification (ABASCap) was proposed. In this model, the multi-head self-attention was improved, and a context mask mechanism based on adjustable context window was proposed, so as to effectively obtain the internal association between aspects and context. Moreover, the dynamic routing algorithm and activation function in capsule network were optimized to meet the task requirements. Finally, sufficient experiments were conducted on three benchmark datasets in different domains. Compared with other baseline models, ABASCap achieved better classification results, and outperformed the state-of-the-art methods in this task after incorporating pre-training BERT.

Cheng-Chi Tai,Ting-Cheng Huang,Ching-Chau Su,Chien-Yi Chen,Ju-Chu Hsieh,Yu-Shiun Lin,Chung-Tzong Wang,Jeng-Hung Lai 전력전자학회 2007 ICPE(ISPE)논문집 Vol.- No.-
A new, simple partial discharge (PD) detector for low-voltage rotating electrical machines using acoustical emission (AE) technique is dseveloped in this study. Common electric components were used in the detector, which reduces the cost of inspection, comparing with the traditional PD detection methods that use expensive equipment costing from tens of thousands to several millions dollars. Experimental results by resonant type AE sensors (150 ㎑) which utilize power line-cycle in a microcontroller unit (MCU) as reference to measure the PDs generated in a low-voltage motor are presented. The AE signals are then amplified by a pre-amplifier (30 ㎑ ~ 300 ㎑, 34 ㏈). Since the resonant frequency of the sensor is much lower than that of the electromagnetic (EM) interferences around the motor, the effects of noise is substantially reduced by this method. In the mean time, the use of 150-㎑ resonant type AE sensor also avoids the disturbance of mechanical vibration noise. According to the experiment results, the measurement system developed in this study can be used to detect the PDs’ AE signals correctly. The AE measurement scheme proposed in this study provides an effective, low-cost method for PD measurements.

Objective: Choice of hysterectomy and adjuvant treatment for International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) 2009 stage II endometrioid endometrial cancer (EEC) is still controversial. Aims of this study were to evaluate survival benefits and adverse effects of different hysterectomies with or without adjuvant radiotherapy (RT), and to identify prognostic factors. Methods: The patients at 14 member hospitals of the Taiwanese Gynecologic Oncology Group from 1992 to 2013 were retrospectively investigated. Patients were divided into simple hysterectomy (SH) alone, SH with RT, radical hysterectomy (RH) alone, and RH with RT groups. Endpoints were recurrence-free survival (RFS), overall survival (OS), disease-specific survival (DSS), adverse effects and prognostic factors for survival. Results: Total of 246 patients were enrolled. The 5-year RFS, OS, DSS and recurrence rates for the entire cohort were 89.5%, 94.3%, 96.2% and 10.2%, respectively. Patients receiving RH had more adverse effects including blood loss (p<0.001), recurrent urinary tract infections (p=0.013), and leg lymphedema (p=0.038). Age over 50-year (HR=9.2; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.2–70.9) and grade 3 histology (HR=7.28; 95% CI, 1.45–36.6) were independent predictors of OS. Grade 3 histology was an independent predictor of RFS (HR=5.13; 95% CI, 1.38–19.1) and DSS (HR=5.97; 95% CI, 1.06–58.7). Patients receiving adjuvant RT had lower locoregional recurrence (p=0.046), but no impact on survival. Conclusion: Different treatment modalities yield similar survival outcomes. Patients receiving SH with RT had lower locoregional recurrent with acceptable morbidity. Age and tumor grading remained significant predictors for survival among patients with FIGO 2009 stage II EEC.

Background: Solid cancers with bone marrow metastases are rare but lethal. This study aimed to identify clinical factors predictive of survival in adult patients with solid cancers and bone marrow metastases. Methods: A total of 83 patients were enrolled consecutively between January 1, 2000 and December 31, 2012. Bone marrow metastases were confirmed by biopsies. Patient clinical features and laboratory data were analyzed for associations. Results: The median age of the patients was 54 years (range, 23-88 years), and 58% were male. The 3 most common primary tumor locations were the stomach (32 patients, 39%), prostate (16 patients, 19%), and lungs (12 patients, 15%). The median overall survival was 49 days (range, 3-1423 days). Patients with Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status 1, cancers of prostate origin, platelet counts over 50,000/ml, and undergoing antitumor therapies had a significantly better prognosis in the multivariate analysis. The median survival times were 173 and 33 days for patients with 2-3 more favorable parameters (n=24) and those with 0-1 (n=69), respectively (hazard ratio 0.30; 95% CI 0.17-0.52, p<0.001). Conclusions: Solid cancers with bone marrow metastases are dismal and incurable diseases. Understanding prognostic factors to these diseases helps medical personnel to provide appropriate treatments and better inform patients about outcomes. Antitumor therapies may improve outcomes in selected patient cohorts.

The effects of low temperature processes and the dopants of bismuth, manganese and iron co-doping in Ce1-x,Mx)O2 materialshave been investigated. The CeO2-based powders were synthesized by EDTA-citric acid method and their sintering behaviorwas analyzed by dilatometry (DIL) and density measurement. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and various electron microscopies wereused to identify crystalline phases and microstructure. The results show that solubility limit of Mn and Fe in ceria is less than1 at% while that of Bi is at 8-9 at%. Two electrolytes, Ce0.9(Bi0.09Mn0.005Fe0.005)O2 and Ce0.9(Bi0.1)O2, are selected and sinteredto full density at 1050-1100 oC for 1 hr improved by doping trace amount of Mn and Fe The detail microstructurecharacterization of the doped samples are discussed.
A Novel Transparent Microwave Thin Film Coating Technique Applied to Dual‑Band Antennas
Yu-Ming Lin,Hung-Wei Wu,Yung-Wei Chen,Cheng-Yuan Hung,Shoou-Jinn Chang,Yan-Kuin Su 대한금속·재료학회 2019 ELECTRONIC MATERIALS LETTERS Vol.15 No.6
In this paper, we propose a novel transparent microwave thin film coating technique and discuss its application in planardual-band antennas (0.9/5.55 GHz). We developed a new process for activating the nano-alignment thin film from high tolow resistivity (from 1.96 to 1.29 × 10−4 Ω cm) and from partial to full transparency (from 55 to 83% transmittance) within150 s. The platform of the activation process comprises a periodic electrode, an optical microscope, and an alternating currentsignal generator. The periodic electrode can effectively rearrange the nano-alignment thin film into an ordered arrangement, which enhances the properties of the thin film in the microwave frequency range. A high-transparency and low-resistivitydual-band antenna is designed and fabricated using the proposed microwave thin film coating technique. The dual-bandantenna has operating bandwidths of 740–960 and 5030–7030 MHz and potential applications in transparent electronicssuch as wearable devices and intelligent cars.

Sublimation of Bi2O3-based materials is an important degradation issue for the long-term applications of many electronicdevices. A series of SnO2-doped Bi2O3 materials (SBO), was synthesized, densified, and then tested in air or strong reducingatmosphere. The SnO2-doping effects and sublimation kinetics of the SBO materials were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD),scanning electron microscope (SEM) and precise mass loss measurement. The results show that formation of Bi2Sn2O7 phasegreatly retards the mass loss of SBO. The SBO samples show a surface sublimation in an energy of 52.6 kJ.mol−1. However, the sublimation is also controlled by surface microstructure as the amount of vaporizing species (the Bi or gaseous Bi-oxides)is more than 0.1 mass%. The evaporation is retarded on the rough surface and the mechanism of surface evaporation ischanged to diffusional control.
