18세기 계몽사상의 중심지인 파리에서는 오랫동안 지식의 세계를 독점해온 성직자들의 지배체제가 무너지고 글을 통해 진리에 봉사하는 독창적인 천재와 독립적인 저자에 대한 동경과 찬사가 넘쳐흘렀다. 그러나 대부분의 문인들은 여전히 경제적으로 자립하지 못한 채 누군가의 후원에 의존했다. 독립과 의존의 기묘한 공존은 18세기 프랑스 문학 세계의 독특한 현상이었다. 루소가 가장 고민하고 또 모순적 태도를 보였던 문제 역시 후원관계였다. 사회적 불평등에 남다르게 민감했던 그는 그러한 모순을 사회적 인식의 수준으로 끌어올리는 동시에 그 원인을 분석했다. 이 글에서는 루소를 중심으로 18세기 파리에서의 후원문제를 통해 계몽사상이 지닌 다양성과 중층성의 일면을 분석했다. 그러기 위해 우선 1970년대 이후의 사회사 연구 성과를 토대로 18세기 프랑스 후원문화를 살펴본 다음 볼테르와 디드로, 달랑베르 등 철학자들의 후원에 대한 다양한 견해를 검토하고 지적, 물질적 독립을 실천하고자 했던 루소의 삶과 학문을 후원의 맥락에서 재구성했다. As the dominant system of churchmen that had monopolized the world of the knowledge for a long time collapsed, the longings and the praises for creative genius and autonomous authors working for the truth by writing overflew in Paris, the center of Enlightenment thoughts, in the 18th century. But just as not self-sponsored as ever, most of men of letters depended on someone’s aids. The odd coexistence of independence and dependence was a characteristic phenomenon in the french literary world in the 18th century. It was also the relationship of patronage that Rousseau was worried about and took contradictory attitudes with. Rousseau who was very sensitive to the social inequality drew such contradiction up to the level of social perception and at the same time analysed its causes. Focusing on Rousseau, in this article, I tried to understand an aspect of diversity and duplicity of the Enlightenment thoughts by examining the patronage in Paris in the 18th century. For doing so, I first reviewed the culture of the french paronage in the 18th century on the basis of research works of the social history since the 1970s, then examined diverse opinions of the philosophers such as Voltaire, Diderot and D’Alembert about the patronage, and finaly reconstructed in the context of partonage the life and studies of Rousseau who tried to practice the intellectual and material independence. 자동차 브레이크 미세먼지 필터 개발을 위한 유동 해석

최근 들어 자동차 브레이크에서 발생하는 미세먼지의 중요성이 부각되고 있어 브레이크 필터 개발의 필요성이 대두되었다. 본 연구에서는 브레이크 필터 개발을 위한 기초 연구로써 디스크 회전으로 인한 유동 및 입자의 거동을 해석하고 필터의 기체 투과율에 따른 유동의 변화를 고찰하였다. 또한 유동 가시화 실험을 통해 수치 해석 결과를 검증하였다. 결과로써, 미세먼지는 디스크 표면에 가까울수록, 디스크 회전수가 낮을수록 그리고 입자 직경이 작을수록 디스크를 따라 더 오랫동안 회전하는 경향을 보였다. 두께 0.12mm인 필터의 투과율이 1×10<SUP>-11</SUP> 이하가 되면 브레이크 필터를 통과하는 냉각풍량은 필터가 없는 경우 대비 50% 정도 감소한다. 끝으로 유동 해석을 통하여 브레이크 입자를 효율적으로 포집할 수 있는 두 가지 타입의 브레이크 필터를 제시하였다. The importance of fine dust generated from automobile brakes has been recently highlighted, which necessitates the development of brake filters. In this study, which can be considered a fundamental study for the development of brake filters, the flow and particle behavior due to the disk rotation were analyzed, and the flow change according to the gas permeability of the filter was investigated. In addition, a flow visualization experiment was conducted to verify the flow pattern predicted by numerical analysis. The results showed that the brake dust tends to rotate longer along the disk the closer the disk surface, the lower the disk rotation speed, and the smaller the particle diameter. When the permeability of a 0.12-mm thick filter was less than 1x10-11, the brake cooling air flow rate was reduced by approximately 50. Finally, two types of filter shapes that can efficiently collect brake fine dust are presented based on the flow analysis.

1715년 9월 1일, 루이 14세의 죽음

1715년 9월 1일, 이 날은 위대한 세기를 풍미한 절대군주 루이 14세의 생애와 그의 치세를 마무리 짓는 동시에 새로운 시대를 여는 분기점 역할을 한다. 2015년 루이 14세의 죽음 300주년을 맞이하여 프랑스에서는 다양한 기념행사와 전시회가 개최되는 동시에 수많은 연구 성과가 발표되었다. 2015년 루이 14세를 기념하는 방향과 방식은 문자 그대로 루이 14세의 죽음 그 자체에 주목한다는 점에서 이전과 다른 점이 있다. 특히 역사가들은 루이 14세의 임종 순간을 재구성하며 그 시점에서 거꾸로 그의 치세를 재조명했다. 나아가 루이 14세 사후 프랑스의 운명, 특히 18세기 프랑스 정치에 결정적인 영향을 미친 루이 14세와 얀센주의의 관계를 분석했다. September first 1715, this day put an end to the life and the reign of Louis XIV, absolute monarch who predominated over ‘the Great Century’, and at the same time is considered the turning point that opened a new era. In 2015, commemorating the tercentenary of the death of Louis XIV, various events and exhibitions were held and a lot of research outcomes were published in France. The direction and the way of commemorating Louis XIV in 2015 were distinct from the former ones in the point of paying attention to ‘the death’ of Louis XIV as such. Especially, historians reorganized the situation the moment of his death and reviewed his reign in view of that moment. Furthermore, they focused on the fate of France after the death of Louis XIV, particularly on the relationship between Louis XIV and the jansenism that had a decisive effect on the political history of France in the 18<SUP>th</SUP> century.

액티브 시니어의 자기관리 및 신체적 자기지각이 자신감에 미치는 영향 : 수영 참여자 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to investigate how self-management and basic physical self-perception effect confidence in active seniors learning to swim. The subjects of this study consisted of 300 seniors taking part in swimming classes and the data of 287 seniors were analyzed. SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 22.0 were used in structure equation model analysis. The results were as follows: first, the self-management of active seniors showed a positive effect on their basic physical self-perception; second, the basic physical self-perception of active seniors showed a positive effect on their confidence; third, the self-management of active seniors showed a positive effect on their confidence. As the number of active seniors participating in various sports increases, it is necessary to understand psychological factors to improve their quality of life.

단일 LED를 사용한 3W MR16 조명등 방열 설계에 관한 연구

신성장 동력 산업으로 분류된 LED 조명제품은 고효율 에너지 제품으로 기존 광원보다 조도가 높고 수명이 길어 많은 주목을 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 할로겐 MR16 조명등이나 다수의 LED를 사용한 MR16 조명등 을 대체할 단일 LED를 사용하는 MR16 조명등을 개발하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 LED 패키지 MCPCB 장착 기초 실 험, 3차원 방열 수치해석 및 시제품에 대한 방열 성능실험을 수행하여 성공적으로 고출력 단일 LED MR16 조명등 을 개발하였다. LED lights as a newly-growing industry are highly energy-efficient and have drawn lots of attention due to higher illuminance and longer life compared to other light sources. In this study, MR16 lights with one high-power LED were considered for the replacement of the previous halogen lights or LED lamps with many LEDs. Thus, fundamental experiments of LED on a MCPCB, 3-dimensional numerical analysis for heatsink design and performance tests of the prototype lights have been done and the MR16 LED lights have been successfully developed.

한국 EFL 대학생의 사회 불안과 외국어 불안과의 관계에 대한 고찰

(Purpose) One of the goals of learning English as a foreign language (EFL) is to communicate properly but EFL anxiety has been found to be one of obstacles to EFL learning. Since listening and speaking language are interactive processes, listening anxiety is possibly related to speaking anxiety, resulting in poor performance when learning English. Moreover, as language is used as a communicative tool, anxiety in social interaction might have an effect on EFL anxiety. The purpose of this study, thus, was to examine whether and how social anxiety and interpersonal orientation were associated with English listening and speaking anxiety. (Design/methodology/approach) 94 freshmen who enrolled in college English classes participated in the survey of this study. We used a Foreign Language Listening Anxiety Scale to measure English listening anxiety and Public Speaking Class Anxiety Scale to measure English speaking anxiety. In addition, Social Avoidance Distress Scale was used to measure social anxiety and Fundamental Interpersonal Relation Orientation-Behavior short version was used to measure interpersonal orientation of EFL learners. (Findings) This study has shown that social anxiety was strongly associated with English speaking anxiety and the relationship between social anxiety and English speaking anxiety was mediated by English listening anxiety. Moreover, interpersonal orientation moderated the relationship between social anxiety and English speaking anxiety. It was shown that the learners with a high interpersonal orientation showed high English speaking anxiety even though their social anxiety was low. (Research implications or Originality) The findings of this study imply that it is important to reduce social anxiety when learning English because social anxiety is strongly related to English listening and speaking anxiety. Furthermore, since individual characteristics such as interpersonal orientation also has an effect on anxiety when learning English, characteristics of learners should be considered. Since Virtual Reality(VR) systems could be useful in considering learner’s attributes as well as reduce anxiety, we suggest that it is necessary to develop a VR environment for learning a foreign language(FL).
