        Effects of rumen-protected biotin on the growth performance, nitrogen utilization and blood parameters of yearling Liaoning cashmere doelings

        Objective: This study was conducted to investigate the effects of rumen-protected biotin (RPB) on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, nitrogen utilization and plasma biochemical parameters of Liaoning cashmere goats during the cashmere fiber growing period. Methods: Sixteen 6-month-old Liaoning cashmere twin-doelings (24.8±1.20 kg) were allocated to 2 diet groups that were individually ad libitum fed 30% concentrate and 70% forage diet (dry matter [DM]) by a paired experimental design. Goats of the control group were fed the basal diet, while goats belonging to the RPB group were fed the basal diet with 10 mg RPB/d per animal. The duration of the experiment was 16 weeks with two 8-week periods. Digestibility was determined at weeks 7 and 15, and other measures were taken every four weeks. Results: Compared with the control group, the average daily gain of the RPB group increased by 10.94% (p<0.05), and the intake of neutral detergent fiber was increased (p = 0.045). There were some increasing tendencies for the intake of DM, acid detergent fiber and ether extract (p = 0.070, 0.088, and 0.070, respectively). The intake and digestibility of N tended to increase (p = 0.062 and 0.093, respectively), while the N fecal excretion percentage of N intake was decreased (p = 0.093) in the RPB compared with the control group. N retention tended to increase (p = 0.084) with the addition of adding RPB to the diet. Plasma total protein was increased (p = 0.037), whereas the urea-N concentration was decreased (p = 0.049) in the RPB diet group compared with the control diet group. The levels of propionyl-CoA carboxylase (p<0.001) and methylmalonyl-CoA (p = 0.013) were increased in the RPB group. Conclusion: Supplementation of rumen-protected biotin in the diet of cashmere goats can enhance the utilization of N and improve daily weight gain during cashmere fiber growing period.

        Adaptive Fuzzy Finite Time Prescribed Performance Control for Long Stroke Hybrid Robots

        This paper focuses on the problem of finite-time trajectory tracking control of long-stroke hybrid robots with uncertain system parameters and external disturbances. A system filtering prescribed performance backstepping control based on adaptive fuzzy compensation is proposed. For the unknown terms corresponding to the parameter uncertainties and unknown disturbances existing in the system, a set of auxiliary filter variables is introduced in the adaptive fuzzy approximator and an estimation error function is constructed. An adaptive law based on the estimated error function is proposed to adjust the adaptive weight parameters of the fuzzy system. An adaptive fuzzy approximation algorithm based on the estimation error is finally constructed to compensate for the performance loss caused by the unknown term. For the system state convergence speed problem, a performance function that can transform the system tracking error into an unconstrained error is presented, and the unconstrained error is used as the backstepping control variables. To avoid the differential explosion problem, a new set of inverse control variables is defined by combining the filter variables obtained based on the low-pass filter and the joint velocity. Based on the above variables, a system filtering-based prescribed performance backstepping control strategy is proposed. Finally, the semi-global practical finite-time stability of the closed-loop system is proved by the Lyapunov function. Experiments on the MATLAB platform verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

        The influence of vehicles on the flutter stability of a long-span suspension bridge

        The presence of traffic on a slender long-span bridge deck will modify the cross-section profile of the bridge, which may influence the flutter derivatives and in turn, the critical flutter wind velocity of the bridge. Studies on the influence of vehicles on the flutter derivatives and the critical flutter wind velocity of bridges are rather rare as compared to the investigations on the coupled buffeting vibration of the wind-vehicle-bridge system. A typical streamlined cross-section for long-span bridges is adopted for both experimental and analytical studies. The scaled bridge section model with vehicle models distributed on the bridge deck considering different traffic flow scenarios has been tested in the wind tunnel. The flutter derivatives of the modified bridge cross section have been identified using forced vibration method and the results suggest that the influence of vehicles on the flutter derivatives of the typical streamlined cross-section cannot be ignored. Based on the identified flutter derivatives, the influence of vehicles on the flutter stability of the bridge is investigated. The results show that the effect of vehicles on the flutter wind velocity is obvious.

        For the single source characteristics of the insufficient problem of nonlinear analog circuit soft fault diagnosis, we propose a new method that is based on dual Wiener core for fault diagnosis of intelligent information optimization fusion[1,2,3,4,5], firstly, the incentive is Gauss white noise, after sampling we obtain the Wiener core of circuit and power which is used from the discrete Wiener core, then use the improved genetic algorithm, make the feature selection and fusion combination as an optimization problem, propose intelligent optimization fusion extraction based on the improved genetic algorithm, the circuit set total Euclidean distance as the objective function optimizes, the different information in feature layer can be organic integration, then use the BP neural network for intelligent diagnosis. Experiments show that the method can effectively improve the accuracy of the diagnosis of nonlinear multiple soft faults.

        Research on the spindle deflecting reliability of the wellbore trajectory control tool based on Palmgren-Miner

        Wellbore trajectory control tool is a sort of point-the-bit drilling tool to achieve the steering function while drilling. In complex conditions, the spindle bears the acting force of the bit pressure, the torque, the force of biasing mechanism and so on. So the force is very complex. Basing on the early research of our group, the further research of spindle deflecting reliability of prototype has been carried out. Based on the contact analysis between the tool spindle and the inner eccentric ring, the variation law of contact stress between the inner ring of the eccentric mechanism and the spindle is studied. Based on Palmgren-Miner and the fatigue life experiment of the spindle material, the cumulative damage calculation model of the spindle is established, and the fatigue life of spindle is solved. The result shows that the deflecting reliability of the spindle can be guaranteed.

        Comparison study of the effect of bridge-tunnel transition on train aerodynamic performance with or without crosswind

        This paper studied the case of high-speed train running from flat ground to bridges and into/out of tunnels, with or without crosswind based on the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) method. First, the flow structure was analyzed to explain the influence mechanisms of different infrastructures on the aerodynamic characteristics of the train. Then, the evolution of aerodynamic forces of the train during the entire process was analyzed and compared. Additionally, the pressure variation on the train body and the tunnel wall was examined in detail. The results showed that the pressure coefficient and the flow structure on both sides of the high-speed train were symmetrical for no crosswind case. By contrast, under crosswind, there was a tremendous and immediate change in the pressure mapping and flow structure when the train passing through the bridge-tunnel section. The influence of the ground-bridge transition on the aerodynamic forces was much smaller than that of the bridge-tunnel section. Moreover, the variation of aerodynamic load during the process of entering and exiting the bridge-tunnel sections was both significant. In addition, in the case without crosswind, the change in the pressure change in the tunnel conformed to the law of pressure wave propagation, while under crosswind, the variation in pressure was comprehensively affected by both the train and crosswind in the tunnel.

        A Novel Resource Scheduling Scheme for CoMP Systems

        Coordinated multiple points transmission and reception (CoMP) technology is used to mitigate the inter-cell interference, and increase cell average user normalized throughput and cell edge user normalized throughput. There are two kinds of radio resource schedule strategies in LTE-A/5G CoMP system, and they are called centralized scheduling strategy and distributed scheduling strategy. The regional centralized scheduling cannot solve interference of inter-region, and the distributed scheduling leads to worse efficiency in the utilize of resources. In this paper, a novel distributed scheduling scheme named 9-Cell alternate authorization (9-CAA) is proposed. In our scheme, time-domain resources are divided orthogonally by coloring theory for inter-region cooperation in 9-Cell scenario [6]. Then, we provide a formula based on 0-1 integer programming to get chromatic number in 9-CAA. Moreover, a feasible optimal chromatic number search algorithm named CNS-9CAA is proposed. In addition, this scheme is expanded to 3-Cell scenario, and name it 3-Cell alternate authorization (3-CAA). At last, simulation results indicate that 9/3-CAA scheme exceed All CU CoMP, 9/3C CU CoMP and DLC resource scheduling scheme in cell average user normalized throughput. Especially, compared with the non-CoMP scheme as a benchmark, the 9-CAA and 3-CAA have improved the edge user normalized throughput by 17.2% and 13.0% respectively.

        Recent Progress of Gr/Si Schottky Photodetectors

        By combing the carrier mobility of graphene with the excellent light absorption properties of silicon, ultra-shallow Schottkyjunction can be obtained, and can exist stably for a long time. The photoelectric property of Schottky junction is determinednot only by graphene and silicon semiconductor layer, but also by the interface layer between the two. Through a series ofoptimizations, the performance of graphene/silicon Schottky junction photodetectors can be continuously improved. Asa result, graphene/silicon Schottky junctions more promising for the development of next generation photodetectors withits stability, ease of preparation and sensitivity. In this review, we firstly give a brief introduction to Gr Schottky junctionphotodetectors, and then present a comprehensive review on the recent progress of optimizing Gr/Si Schottky junction photodetectorsin the past few years, including light management engineering, band engineering and interfacial engineering. Finally, the current challenges are summarized and further perspectives are outlined.

        Learning Chinese language becomes increasingly important and popular worldwide. It is a challenge for native alphabetic language speaker to learn Chinese as Chinese is a symbolic language. Various learning methods are used to help foreign students to improve their learning performance. Interactive applications in the mobile touch devices make it possible to learn Chinese anytime anywhere. It is interesting to discover the role of mobile touch devices in Chinese learning. Thus, this study investigated the usability of mobile touch devices, including mobile phones and tablet personal computer, in Chinese learning for foreign students. This study included two phases. In the first phase, an online survey and an after-interview were used to investigate the users`attitude to using mobile touch devices in Chinese learning. Thirty international students were invited to the survey (19 males and 11 females) with 10Germany, 4 French, 3 Italians, 2 Iranian, 2 Russians, 2 English, 2 American, 1 Indonesian, 1 Pakistani, 1 Thai, 1 Swedish and 1 Kazakhstan. In the second phase, an experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of mobile touch devices in Chinese learning.
