PROCESSING OF INTERSTELLAR MEDIUM AS DIVULGED BY AKARI
TAKASHI ONAKA,TAMAMI I. MORI,RYOU OHSAWA,ITSUKI SAKON,AARON C. BELL,MARK HAMMONDS,TAKASHI SHIMONISHI,DAISUKE ISHIHARA,HIDEHIRO KANEDA,YOKO OKADA,MASAHIRO TANAKA 한국천문학회 2017 天文學論叢 Vol.32 No.1
A wide spectral coverage from near-infrared (NIR) to far-infrared (FIR) of {\it AKARI} both for imaging and spectroscopy enablesus to efficiently study the emission from gas and dust in the interstellar medium (ISM). In particular, the Infrared Camera(IRC) onboard {\it AKARI}offers a unique opportunity to carry out sensitive spectroscopy in the NIR (2--5\,$\mu$m) for the first time from a spaceborn telescope. This spectral range contains a number of important dust bands and gas lines, such as the aromatic and aliphatic emissionbands at 3.3 and 3.4--3.5\,$\mu$m, H$_2$O and CO$_2$ ices at 3.0 and 4.3\,$\mu$m, CO, H$_2$, and \ion{H}{I} gas emission lines. In this paper we concentrate on the aromatic and aliphatic emission and ice absorption features. The balance between dust supply and destruction suggests significant dust processing takingplace as well as dust formation in the ISM. Detailed analysis of the aromatic and aliphatic bands of {\it AKARI} observations for a number of\ion{H}{ii} regions and \ion{H}{ii} region-like objectssuggests processing of carbonaceous dust in the ISM. The ice formation process canalso be studied with IRC NIR spectroscopy efficiently. In this review, dust processing in the ISM divulged by recentanalysis of {\it AKARI} data is discussed.

Because adenine is effective for managing cases of radiation-induced and drug-induced leukopenia, it may be effective in cases of antipsychotic-induced leukopenia and neutropenia. Here, we report our experience with patients with leukopenia and neutropenia caused by an antipsychotic overdose or discontinuation of lithium carbonate, in whom adenine administration ameliorated the white blood cell and neutrophil counts. The progress of patients suggests that adenine is effective in cases of leukopenia and neutropenia associated with lithium carbonate discontinuation and an antipsychotic overdose.
Method for accuracy improvement of GPS measurement in the city
Takashi Matsushita,Toshiyuki Tanaka,Masashi Yonekawa 제어로봇시스템학회 2009 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2009 No.8
GPS (Global positioning System) is a 3-D positioning system using space satellites. Recently, the use of GPSin the city as the navigation system is rising continuously. However the measurement error is large when the receiver isused near the buildings such as in urban canyon. This reason is that the receiver is not able to measure a pseudo range accurately because of receiving reflected wave (multipath) from the obstacle. Then we suggested new methods for reducing the multipath error. They are methods which are discrimination of the presence of the multipath error using the signal strength, and calculating the multipath error using two kinds of measurements. We devised methods of positioning which does not require reference station in real time. In this paper, we show the effectiveness of our method with measurement results.

This paper describes the assist force control of semi-active assist system ”Smart Suit” for horse trainer. We developed a soft and flexible power assist device named ”Smart Suit” for reducing horse trainers’ physical fatigue in their horse training works in order to prevent their spine or legs injuries. The smart suit is a kind of semi-active and flexible power assist devices. In order to gain the suitable assist force for periodical horse trainers’ motion, the assist force control method based on the periodical input control was developed in this study. Also, for stabilizing their horse riding motion, we developed the assist force control method considering their dynamic stability by controlling their center of gravity on the zero moment point (ZMP)which is the dynamic stable point.

Purpose: Due to adverse events, dose reduction or withdrawal of adjuvant chemotherapy is required for some patients. To identify the predictive factors for tolerability to postoperative adjuvant S-1 monotherapy in gastric cancer (GC) patients, we evaluated the predictive values of blood indicators. Materials and Methods: We analyzed 98 patients with pStage II/III GC who underwent postoperative adjuvant S-1 monotherapy. We retrospectively analyzed correlations between 14 parameters obtained from perioperative routine blood tests to assess their influence on the withdrawal of postoperative adjuvant S-1 monotherapy, within 6 months after discontinuation. Results: Postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy was discontinued in 21 patients (21.4%) within 6 months. Univariable analysis revealed that high preoperative albumin-bilirubin (ALBI) scores had the highest odds ratio (OR) for predicting the failure of adjuvant S-1 chemotherapy (OR, 6.47; 95% confidence interval [CI], 2.08–20.1; cutoff value, –2.696). The high ALBI group had a significantly shorter time to failure of postoperative adjuvant S-1monotherapy (hazard ratio, 3.48; 95% CI, 1.69–7.25; P=0.001). Multivariable analysis identified high preoperative ALBI score as an independent prognostic factor for tolerability (OR, 10.3; 95% CI, 2.33–45.8; P=0.002). Conclusions: Preoperative ALBI shows promise as an indicator associated with the tolerability of adjuvant S-1 monotherapy in patients with pStage II/III GC.

Design Consideration of a Secure Sensor Chip for Home Cancer Examination
Tomohiro Tanaka,Kazuya Tanigawa,Tetsuo Hironaka,Takashi Ishiguro 대한전자공학회 2015 ITC-CSCC :International Technical Conference on Ci Vol.2015 No.6
We propose a secure sensor chip for disposable medical examination for home use. Secure sensor chip is required to have functions for encryption and authentication to prevent personal information leakage. In this paper, we estimated secure sensor chip implementations by specific hardware and micro-controller respectively. As a result, the implementation of specific hardware is 40% of chip area in terms of NAND gates, compared with the micro-controller one.
