Currently the evaluation of high school science and mathematics learning has been too much knowledge-centered without concerning the inquiring ability or scientific attitude. This study, therefore, was made for the purpose of establishing of evaluation model for high school science (biology and earth science) and mathematics learning and its evaluation items. In this paper, the research was done about three fields, biology, earth science and mathematics. 1. For the biology, the evaluation methods of inquiry learning were studied with the foreign references, and proper evaluation items were suggested. 2. For the earth science, after analizing 5 kinds of earth science textbook of current using in high school, essential 19 items were selected. 5 of them were tested in test group and control group, then, the results were analized. 3. For the mathematice, the teaching elements of「Set」and「Flow chart」in mathematics (Ⅰ) were selected and structured. Detailed teaching objects were established and evaluation items were introduced.
산촉매 하에서 [Co(NH₃)₄(C₂O₄)]+ 와 Fe(Ⅱ)와의 산화-환원 반응에 대한 반응속도와 메타니즘

Kinetic study was carried out for the redox reaction of [Co(NH₃)₄(C₂O₄)]+ with Fe(Ⅱ) in acidic solution by UV/vis-spectrophotometric method. It has been found that the reaction order for H+ catalyst is the first order in lower H+ concentration range than 0.5mol/ℓ, while second order in the higher one than 0.5mol/ℓ. This redox reaction system is first order with respect to each of the two substracts. Accordingly overall reaction was the third and forth order. It was found that the H+ act as the first order, the values of rate constant, ΔH? and ΔS? is 2.2079×10 ? ℓ²·mol?. sec?, 13.40Kcal/mol and -17.33e. u., and H+ act the second order, these values is 2.4490×10? ℓ³·mol?·sec?, 15.39Kcal/mol and -20.60 e. u., respectively. The result of EHMO calculation appears to be the preferred trigonal bipyramidal intermediate. On the basis of kinetic data and EHMO calculation, we suggest that the redox reaction system proceed via innersphere mechanism.

저자들은 최근 화농성 슬관절염과 병발한 수막구균성 수막염 1예를 체험하였고, 이는 국내에서 아직 보고되지 않은 드문 예로 사료되어 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. We recently experienced a case of meningococcal meningitis associated with pyogenic arthritis in a 37-year old male patient. Pyogenic arthritis developed in right knee joint during treatment for meningococcal meningitis. He was treated successfully by appropriate antibiotics and arthroscopic irrigation. To our knowledge, such a rare case has not ever been reported in Korea, Hence we report this case with a review of related literatures.
알렉시딘과 차아염소산나트륨의 화학적 상호반응 후 mass spectrometry를 이용한 파라클로로아닐린의검출 분석

근관세척제인 NaOCl과 CHX를 병행 사용하는 경우 적갈색의 발암물질로 알려진 PCA가 생성된다. 본 연구의 목적은 CHX와 유사한 buigunide 계통의 소독제 인 ALX을 NaOCl 과 흔합 반응 시 PCA가 생성되 는지 여부를 mass spectrometry를 이용하여 평가하고자 하였다. 대조군으로는 4% NaOCl 용액과 2% CHX의 혼합용액, 0.5%PCA 용액, 및 1%ALX 용액을 사용하였고 실험군으로는 5가지 농도(1%, 0.5%, 0.25%, 0.125%, 0.0625%)의 ALX 용액과 4% NaOCl의 흔합용액을 질량분석기를 이용하여 mole-cular peak를 분석한 결과 ALX과 NaOCl의 혼합물에서는 PCA(m/w=128)로 보이는 128 피크가 관찰되지 않았다. 또한 용액의 색 변화에서도 ALX이 농도가 높을수록 열은 노랑색을 띄었으나 농도가 낮아질수록 흰색으로 관찰되었으며 어떠한 침전물의 형성도 보이지 않았다. Recent studies demonstrated that the combination of chlorhexidine (CHX) and sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) resulted in the formation of a precipitate, para-chloroaniline (PCA). Alexdidine (ALX) is a kind of biguanides like CHX, and has stronger detoxification effect against the bacterial virulence factors such as lipoteichoic acid and lipopolysacchardide compared with CHX. The purpose of this study was to determine whether PCA was formed after chemical interaction between ALX and NaOCl using mass spectrometry. Mass spectrometry was performed for the mixture of five different concentrations of ALX (1, 0.5, 0.25, 0.125, 0.0625%) and 4% NaOCl. Results showed that the peak of PCA was not detected in mixed solu tions of ALX and NaOCl in mass spectrometry analysis. The color of mixed solution of ALX and NaOCl after chemical interaction was light yellow to white, but there wasn't any precipitate found.
Induction of Ovulation by Hormone Treatment in Ussurian Bullhead Leiocassis ussuriensis

The effects of ovulation induction in ussurian bullhead, Leiocassis ussuriensis, were investigated by treating ussurian bullhead with hCG, LHRHa, GnRHa, ovaprim, and pimozide. hCG was injected to ussurian bullhead at 0.75%NaCl, 5,000, 10,000, 20,000, and 30,000 IU, respectively. The ovulation inducement rates were 100% in 20,000 and 30,000IU. Fertilization rates were 82.7% and 79.8%. Hatching rates were 59.4% and 57.2%. Ovulation time was between 16-19hr The concentrations of LHRHa injected were 0.75 NaCl, 50, 100, 200, 300, and 300 μg/kg. The ovulation inducement rates were 100% in 300 and 400 ㎍/kg. Fertilization and hatching rates were 84.9% and 68.4% at 200 ㎍/kg. The times to ovulation were between 23 hr and 34 hr. Ovaprim of 0.75% NaCl, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 ml/kg were injected to the abdominal cavity. The ovulation inducement rate was highest at 2.0 and 3.0 ml/kg to 92% and ovulation time was between 27-38 hr. LHRHa concentrations of 0.75% NaCl, 50, 100, 200, 300 and 400 μg were injected with pimozide (1,000μg). Ovulation inducement rate was 100% from 200 to 400 IU with pimozide. Ovulation time was 22-36 h. Fertilization and hatching rates were 88.9% and 70.4% in 200 ㎍/kg with pimozide.

Korean bullhead (Pseudobagrus fulvidraco) was collected from the Kum River areas of Kangkyung-eup,Nonsan city, Chungcheongnam-do, Korea, from April to June, 2012 and was fertilized in order to observe egg development and temperature-related cleavage rates and mitotic intervals (τ0). The fertilized eggs were separative, demersal and light yellowish with 1.5±0.06 mm in diameter, and did not contain oil globules. The first cleavage stages were 90 min, 80 min,60 min and 50 min at 21℃, 24℃, 27℃ and 30℃, respectively. At higher temperatures, eggs developed faster and underwent further identical development. For Korean bullhead, τ0 were 33.4±2.08 min at 21℃, 31.5±3.06 min at 24℃, 28.1±2.11 min at 27℃ and 26.4±3.35 min at 30℃. There were strong negative correlations between the τ0 and water temperatures at all points studied (Y=-1.13X+58.15, R^2=0.98, n=30, where Y is τ0 and X is temperature). The results obtained in this work will be helpful for chromosome manipulation by use of cleavage frequency data and τ0 data in Korean bullhead.
