        소비자 조사와 착의 실험을 통한 온도감응형 기능성 의류개발을 위한 기초연구

        In this research, consumer awareness investigation and wearing test were carried out for obtaining useful data on the development of thermo-sensitive functional clothing material. A survey involved 216 people in Seoul and Kyeonggi- do, and 200 questionnaires data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and frequency using SPSS 17.0. Four healthy men in twenties were participated for wearing test. Subjects in normal loungewear were exposed to temperature change from the initial temperature 30oC down to 5oC for an hour in a climate chamber. The environmental temperature, surface temperature of garment and skin were measured. As a result, most of respondents have all season clothing products such as underwear, hosiery, and jogging suit for loungewear. Also, thermo regulator y functional clothes are frequently used as underwear and sweat shirt. The consumer awareness investigation on thermo regulatory functional clothing showed that the most important key buying factor is quick climate temperature response, easy maintenance, design and cost, in that order. Surface temperature of garment went down with the cooling down of environmental temperature. The lower environmental temperature, the greater temperature difference by body part showed. Skin temperature change by environmental temperature showed similar tendency of garment surface temperature. In comparison between garment surface and body skin, temperature difference became larger under the lower environmental temperature.

        대전광역시 월평공원과 전북 격포해수욕장 주변 야생화와 토양들로부터 야생효모의 분리 및 국내 미기록 효모들의 특성과 생리 활성

        많은 사람들이 다녀가는 도시공원과 해변 환경의 효모 특성을 알아보기 위해 대전광역시 월평공원 갑천 누리길과 내원사 주변의 야생화와 토양 75점에서 모두 88균주의 야생 효모들을 분리, 동정하였다. 또한 전북 부안의 격포해수욕장과 격포항 주변 야생화와 토양 35점에서 30균주의 야생 효모들을 분리하였다. 이들 분리 야생 효모들 중A. porosum ASCM32-1, A. scarabaeorum WP49-1, C. athensensis WP4-90-3, C. berkhoutiae WP34-2, C. bracarensis WP35-1, Cy. amylophila GP19-1, K. gamospora WP9-1, M. carpophila BN-17-1, T. namnaoensis WP4-89-1, V. taibaiensis WP13-2 등 10종의 국내 미기록종 후보 균주들을 선별하여 균학적 특성을 확인하였다. 이들 미기록 효모들은 주로 구형~타원형으로 모두 출아방식으로 영양 증식을 하였고V. taibaiensis WP13-2와 K. gamospora WP9-1, C. athensensis WP4-90-3 외 7종의 미기록 효모들은 자낭포자를 형성하지 않은 무포자 효모들이었으며A. porosum ASCM32-1만이 의균사를 생성하였다. 대부분의 균주들은 YPD 배지와 YM 배지에서 생육하였고V. taibaiensis WP13-2와K. gamospora WP9-1, T. namnaoensis WP4-89-1 균주들은 15% NaCl을 함유한 YPD 배지에서 생육하는 호염성 효모들이었고, Cy. amylophila GP19-1 균주는 40˚C에서도 생육하였다. C. athensensis WP4-90-3 균주 등 5균주들이 10% 에탄올 내성을 보였고C. athensensis WP4-90-3 균주는 Li<sup>2+</sup> 등 많은 중금속들에 대해서 내성을 보였다. 국내 미기록 효모들과 비병원성 야생 효모 균주 무세포추출물들의 β-glucuronidase 저해 활성은 C. oleophila WP5-19-1의 무세포 추출물이 49.0%로 가장 높았고 미기록 효모인K. gamospora WP9-1의 무세포 추출물도 27.7%를 보였다. 호중구 elastase 저해 활성은W. anomalus HO9-2가 38.4%로 우수하여 건강 소재로 생산에 매우 유용한 균주로 활용될 것으로 기대된다. This study aimed to isolate wild yeasts obtained from flowers and soil of the Wolpyung park, Daejeon city and Gykpo beach, Buan, Jeollabuk-do in Korea, and to further characterize previously unrecorded wild yeast strains. In total, 88 strains of 62 different species of wild yeasts were isolated from 75 samples obtained from the Wolpyung park. Among these, six strains of Trichosporon moniliiforme and four strains each of Papiliotrema flavescens and Candida melibiosica were isolated. Additionally, 39 strains of 30 different species of wild yeasts were isolated from 35 samples collected from the Gykpo beach. Among the 127 isolated wild yeast strains, 10 strains, including Apiotrichum porosum ASCM32-1, were previously unrecorded. All the 10 previously unrecorded yeasts were oval or global in shape, and three strains, including Candida athensensis WP4-90-3, formed spores. Three strains, including Vishniacozyma taibaiensis WP13-2, were halophilic yeasts which grew in 15% NaCl-containing YPD(yeast extract-peptone-dextrose) medium. Five strains, including C. athensensis WP4-90-3, showed 15% ethanol resistance. Cell-free extracts from Candida oleophila WP5-19-1 and Wickerhamomyces anomalus HO9-2 showed the highest β-glucuronidase inhibitory activity (49.0%) and neutrophil elastase inhibitory activity (38.4%), respectively.

      • 제올라이트촉매상에서의 톨루엔과 메탄올의 측쇄알킬화반응

        The side-chain alkylation of toluene with methanol was studied experimentally over cation-exchanged X and Y zeolites. According to the experimental results, the higher conversions have been obtained at 420℃ and reactant mole ratio=6(toluene/methanol) and over K-exchanged X-zeolite, the yields of styrene and ethylbenzene were 5.7%, 4.4% respectively that were remarkably higher compared with those over KY-zeolite, and also the yield of products over KX-zeolite was higher than over CaX-zeolite since the potassium ion over X-zeolite enhances the catalytic due to its basic tendency compared with the calcium ion. The reaction path was suggested for this reaction using both the acidic and basic sites on the surface.

      • 성인형 당뇨병에서의 심혈관 합병증과 지질대사와의 관계

        Hypwelipiswmia is commonly observed in the diabetics, especially with cardiovascular complications. We studied lipid profiles and cardiovascular complication in the 191 adult onset DM patients. The results are as follows: 1. The age distribution was from 24 years old to 82 years old. Male patients were 99 persons, famale patients were 92 persons. The mean disease duration was less than 2 years in the 77 patients, more than 5 years in the 79 patients. 2. Upon the classification between sexes, the mean age was 55±1(SEM) years in the male group, 53±1(SEM) years in the female group. The mean disease durtion was 6.4±1(SEM) years in the female group, longer in the male group (P<0.05). The triglyceride level was 210±16(SEM)㎎% in the male group, 214±13(SEM)㎎% in the female group. The fasting blood sugar level was 147±6(SEM)㎎/dl in the male group, 158±8(SEM)㎎/dl n the female group. The cholesterol level was 229±5(SEM)㎎/dl in the male group, 248±5(SEM)㎎/dl in the female group, higher in the female group (P<0.05). 3. The cardiovascurlar complicatioin (Hypertension, Myocardial infarction, Myocardial ischemia, Angina, Gangrene, Proliferative retinopathy) were present in the 60 patients from 191 patients. Hypertension was present in the 48 patients, and the most prevalent. The mean age and carrdiovascular complication were higher in the more than 5 years of mean disease duration group(mean age 57.99±1.14(SEM)㎎ year) than less than 5 years group(mean age 52.12±0.10(SEM)㎎ year) (P<0.001, P<0.01). 4. The mean disease duration (7.40±1.01(SEM) years), mean triglyceride levels(271±1.01(SEM)㎎%), and mean cholestrerol levels( 257±8㎎.dl) in the cardiovascularly complicated group were higher than those of non-complicated group (P<0.01). 5. The triglycerdie level was high in the obese group (230±14SEM㎎%) than non-obese group (184±15SEM㎎%) (P<0.05). The obese patients were more prevalent in the female group than male group significantly. 6. Considering obesity and cardiovascular complications, the triglyceride value was higher in the obese complicated group(300±30SEM㎎%) than obese non-complicated (197±14SEM㎎ %) or non-obese non-complicated (168±13SEM㎎ %) group (P<0.001). The cholesterol level was higher in the obese complicated group (267±10SEM㎎/dl) than obese non-complicated (230±5SEM㎎/dl) or non-obese non-complicated group(229±7SEM㎎/dl) (P<0.05). 7. Classifying upon insulin response pattern, the obese patients were found in the response pattern, low response pattern, flat type pattern(no response pattern) in the decreasing number of order (P<0.01). The cardiovascular complications were found in the low response group, response group, and flat type pattern (no response) in the decreasing number of order ( P<0.05). The combined cases of obesity and cardiovascular complications were found in the low response group, response group and flat type group(no response) pattern in the decreasing number of order (P<0.01). The mean disease duration was longer in the flat type group (no response) (4.48±0.6SEM years) than the response group(2.43±0.90SEM years) (P<0.05). The mean triglyceride value was higher in the response group (267.38±154.75SEM㎎%) than the flat type(no response group) (198.35±154.05SD㎎%) (P<0.05). So, we conclude that in the NIDDM, obesity control(die control, ideal body weight mainterice, and hyperlipidemia control) is essential for better DM control and cardiovascular complication control.

        The transport characteristics of electrolyte osmosis through the perfluorinated cation exchange membrane, Nafion NX-430, was inverstigated. The order of electrolyte permeation velocities of single valent ions was:??>??>??>??. At constant concentration ratio the electrolyte fluxes have shown maximum and minimum values with respect to electrolyte concentration, which is called anomalus osmosis. The correlations between potassium ion fluxes and concentration ratios was shown as follows. ?? The effective charge density calclated from membrane potential was 1% of the fixed charge concentration.

        We have used molecular biology technique to label the side chains and backbone of HBV preS1(1-56) with stable isotope (??) during E. coli over-expression and purified the protein to near homogeneity. The expression level of ?? labelled preS1(1-56) seems to be ∼15% of the total protein. to characterize the secondary structure of the labelled protein, circular dichroism was used. In different buffer conditions including pH 3.3 and pH 7.4 the protein seems to be devoid of any stable secondary structure probably suggesting that the N-terminal portion (preS1(1-56)) of HBV preS1 might be unstructured before binding to its target cells.
