      • 苦汁으로 부터 炭酸마그네슘과 酸化마그네슘의 最適合成條件에 關한 硏究

        고즙과 탄산나트륨을 원료로 1)반응액의 온도, 2)반응액의 농도, 3)혼합비율(〔Bittern〕/〔Na₂CO₃〕), 4)작용시간 및 5)건조온도를 합성요인으로 하여 Box-Wilson 실험계획법에 의해 탄산마그네슘의 최적합성조건을 추구하고 그 중 우수제품에 대해 D.S.C.를 측정하여 이를 기준으로 하소시켜 산화마그네슘을 제조하여 용적시험, 제산도시험 및 광학현미경사진을 관찰한 결과 1. 탄산마그네슘의 최적합성조건의 범위는 ①반응액의 온도범위는 50∼70℃ ②반응액의 농도범위는 고즙은 37.3∼38.1%, 탄산나트륨은 9.9∼10.3%, ③혼합비율(〔Bittern〕/〔Na₂CO₃〕)의 범위는 1.485∼1.503, ④작용시간의 범위는 10∼12분, ⑤건조온도의 범위는 73∼83℃이다. 2. 시료탄산마그네슘의 D.S.C.측정결과 75℃정도에서 결정수의 이탈로 보이는 흡열Peak를 나타냈고, 290℃정도에서 구조수의 이탈로 생각되는 흡열Peak를 나타냈으며, 408℃정도에서 탄산깨스의 이탈로 생각되는 흡열Peak를 나타냈다. 3. 탄산마그네슘의 하소온도는 500∼600℃가 적당하겠으며, 용적시험결과는 모두 경질품이었고, 시판품보다 모두 용적시험치가 큰 결과를 나타냈다. 4. 제산도시험의 결과는 시판품의 제산능보다 모두 크며 광학현미경사진에 의한 관찰을 하였다. Optimal Synthesis Condition of Magnesium Carbonate were investigated from the viewpoint of bulkiness according to a randomized complete block design proposed by G.E.P. Box and K.B. Wilson. Bittern and Sodium Carbonate were utilized as reactants in order to prepare Magnesium Carbonate. It was found that optimum temperature range of reactant solutions was 50∼70℃ and the optimum concentration range of the reactant solutions was 37.3∼38.1%(Bittern), 9.9∼10.3%(Sodium Carbonate), on the viewpoint of bulkiness. The optimum mole ratio of Bittern to Sodium Carbonate was in the range of 1.485∼1.503and the optimum reacting time range was 10∼12minutes. The optimum drying temperature range was 73∼83℃. Magnesium Oxide comes two types of granules when prepared by calcination of Magnesium Carbonate. The outcome of D.S.C. indicated a desolvation of Magnesium Carbonate occurred at about 75℃. The dehydration of the compound ceased at about 290℃ and the decarboxylation ceased at about 408℃. The physical and chemical properties of Magnesium Oxide as medicine were studied by use of Volume Test, Optical microscopic photographs and Acid Consuming Capacity measurments.

      • 가네트를 활용한 고강도 콘크리트의 황산염저항성 특성 연구

        The purpose of this study is about to characteristic of sulfate resist performance following precipitation age of high strength concrete using the garnet minute power. Experiment was compared to the weight change and compressive strength to follow that unit water content 160kg/m³, W/B 30%, 35% and fine aggregate ratio(S/A) 40%, 42%, 44%, admixture(garnet minute power. fly ash) 0%, 10%, 20% and precipitation age. We got the conclusion of the downside through the experiment. Garnet concrete was appeared that was superior to sulfate resist performance by the increasing of garnet. Case of the W/B 30%. garnet concrete did not get up the diminution of weight to follow that small mixing ratio of S/A and expressed diminution of weight the increasing in ratio of S/A. Consequently. If we should make concrete as condition of optimum mixture. we will be expected the effect of sulfate resist performance.

      • Paraquat 독성에 미치는 Dicumarol과 Allopurinol의 병합 투여 효과

        Despite intensive investigation into paraquat toxicity, neither the final cytotoxic mechanism nor a clinically useful antidote has been discovered. The mechanism of paraquat cytotoxicity is also debatable, but it is generally accepted that a redox reaction occurs between reduced paraquat and molecular oxygen. The intracellular reduction of paraquat occurs by various enzymes, such as DT-diaphorase, xanthine oxidase and glutathione reductase. In present study, we investigated that the effects of allopurinol, a xanthine oxidase inhibitor, and dicumarol, a DT-diaphorase inhibitor, in paraquat-intoxicated rats. The survivals of paraquat-intoxicated rats were increased by allopurinol treatment compared to paraquat-treated control rats , but not effected by dicumarol treatment. The activity of xanthine oxidase in the liver of allopurinol-treated rats was decreased and DT-diaphorase activity in liver of dicumarol treated rats was also decreased compared to normal control rats. The contents of glutathione in liver of paraquat treated rats was decreased but in paraquat+allopurinol treated rats, the decrements of glutathione contents was reduced but in paraquat+dicumarol treated rats, liver glutathione level was not changed compared to paraquat-treated rats. These results suggest that paraquat toxicity maybe reduced by administration of allopurinol but dicumarol did not have such effects .

        철강 제조업체 근로자에서 효소면역측정법을 통한 B형 간염 바이러스 표지자 조사

        포항 지역 한 철강 제조업에서 1995년 1월부터 10월 사이에 실시한 정기 건강진단을 받은 남자 근로자 11,523명을 대상으로 HBsAg 및 Anti-HBs, HBeAg 및 Auti-HBe은 EIA법으로, SGOT 및 SGPT는 반응속도법(IU)으로 검사하였다. 그리고 이들 대상자에서 교육정보, 근무 형태, 음주 및 흡연습관과 간기능 이상 여부를 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. B형 간염 표지자의 분포를 보면 HBsAg(+)/Anti-HBs(-)는 8.1%, HBsAg(-)/Anti-HBs(+)는 60.5% 그리고 HBsAg(+)/Anti-HBs는 0.1%이었으며, HBsAg의 양성율은 8.2%, Anti-HBs 양성율은 60.6%이었다. 2. 연령에 따라 HBsAg(+)/Anti-HBs(-)와 HBsAg(-)-HBs(+)가 유의하게 증가한 반면(p<0.05), 교육정도와 근무형태에 있어서는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다. 3. 음주율은 HBsAg(+)/Anti-HBs(-)에서 HBsAg(-)/Anti-HBs(-)와 HBsAg(-)/Anti-HBs(+)의 84.6% 및 85.7%에 비해 낮지만 73.9%나 되었고, 흡연율은 HBsAg(-)/Anti-HBs(+), HBsAg(+)/Anti-HBs(-) 및 HBsAg(-)/Anti-HBs(-)에서 54.3%, 53.7% 및 53.0%의 순서로 나타났다. HBsAg(+)/Anti-HBs(-)에서 간기능 이상자가 40.1%이었으나 HBsAg(-)Anti-HBs(-)와 HBsAg(-)/Anti-HBs(+)에서도 각각 21.9% 및 18.4%를 차지하였다. 4. HBsAg(+)에서의 e항원에 대한 표지자의 분포를 보면 HBeAg(+)/Anti-HBe(-)는 31.3%, HBeAg(-)/AntiHBe(+)는 55.0% 그리고 HBeAg(+)/Anti-HBe(+)는 1.6%이었고 HBeAg(+)/Anti-HBe(-)는 연령에 따라 감소하고 HBeAg(-)/AntiHBs(-)와 HBeAG(-)/AntiHBe(+)는 증가하였다. HBsAg 양성자중 HBeAg의 총 양성율은 32.9%로 연령이 증가할수록 유의하게 감소하였다. 본 연구는 근로자의 B형 간염 표지자 조사에 있어 Anti-HBs의 검사에서는 EIA 방법으로 실시해야 하는 근거를 제시하는 것이며, 철강산업 근로자에서는 B형간염 이외의 간장질환에도 관심을 가져야 할 것으로 보이며 음주 문제에 대한 대책마련이 시급히 이루어 져야 할 것으로 생각된다. A study for seroprevalence of Hepatitis B virus markers (HBsAg, Anti-HBs, HBeAg and Anti-HBe) by EIA method and the Liver Function Test(SGOT and SGPT) using kinetic method was carried out from January to October 1995 among male workers of a major iron and steel manufacturing company located in Pohang. The results were as follows; 1. The distribution of hepatitis B virus markers showed that the proportions of HBsAg(+)/Anti-HBs(-), HBsAg(-)/Anti-HBs(+) and HBsAg(+)/Anti-HBs(+) were 8.1%, 60.5% and 0.1%, respectively. The positive rate of HBsAg in all subjects was 8.2%, whereas that of anti-HBs was 60.6%. 2. The proportions of HBsAg(+)/Anti-HBs(-) and HBsAg(-)/Anti-HBs(+) increased significantly with age. While the distribution of hepatitis B virus markers exhibited no significant differences among the groups classified by educational background or work type. 3. The proportion of drinkers in HBsAg(+)/Anti-HBs(-)(73.9%) was significantly lower than those of HBsAg(-)/Anti-HBs(-) and HBsAg(-)/Anti-HBs(+) (84.6% and 85.7%, respectively). The proportions of smoking for the three groups of HBsAg(-)/Anti-HBs(+), HBsAg(+)/Anti-HBs(-) and HBsAg(-)/Anti-HBs(-) were 54.3%, 53.7% and 53.0%, respectively(p<0.01). The proportion of the subjects with abnormal liver function test in HBsAg(+)/Anti-HBs(-) was 40.1%, whereas those in HBsAg(-)/Anti-HBs(-) and HBsAg(-)/Anti-HBs(+) were 21.9% and 18.4%, respectively. 4. The distribution of e Ag markers among HBsAg(+) subjects showed that the proportions of HBeAg(+)/Anti-HBe(-), HBeAg(-)/Anti-HBe(+) and HBeAg(+)/Anti-HBe(+) were 31.3%, 55.0% and 1.6%, respectively. The proportion of HBeAg(+)/Anti-HBe(-) decreased significantly with age and those of HBeAg(-)/Anti-HBe(-) and HBeAg(-)/Anti-HBe(+) increased with age. The positive rate of HBeAg among HBsAg(+) subjects was 32.9%. In conclusion, as a screening method, EIA is recommended to test hepatitis B virus markers, especially when examining Anti-HBs more sensitively. For the workers of the iron and steel manufacturing company studied, liver diseases caused by other than hepatitis B should be given a special care including an education avoiding alcohol drinking.

      • 유리관을 이용한 스마트 콘크리트의 개발

        The R.C building will be superannuated if time passes. This cause is generated by propagation of a crack. In order to notice such a crack, time and efforts, expense, etc, that have exhausted. Various technologies were developed to improve its properties related to strength and workability during construction. Performance degradation of concrete structures is generally caused by the deteriorations, such as surface collapse, pop-out, crack, and so on. The deterioration mechanism of concrete is very complex. Detection of the degradation and fracture inside of concrete is also very difficult. A method to detect or cure the concrete crack have been developed in this study. They are by using small glass-pipe sensors. Experimental study shows good performance for detecting crack(small glass-pipe sensors) inside of the concrete.

        톨루엔을 포함한 유기용제의 직업적 폭로로 인한 신경내분비계 영향

        Long term occupational exposure to solvent mixtures may cause adverse effects to the central nervous system with neurobehavioral symptoms. And some organic slovents have been suggested to cause impairment of tuberoinfundibular dopaminergic activity and neurochemical mechanisms controlling pituitary secretion. For the purpose of assessing neuroendocrine effects in occupational solvents exposure, hormonal study settings (shoes-manufacturing industry & fishing products industry) and compared with nonexposed controls(33 men, 85 women). Male workers exposed to solvent mixtures had significantly lower plasma level of follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH) than nonexposed male controls. While female workers exposed to solvent mixtures had significantly lower plasma levels of growth hormone(GH), and thyroid-stimulating hormone(TSH) than nonexposed female controls. The results of significant decrease in plasma concentrations of pituitary hormones(FSH, GH, and TSH) in workers exposed solvent mixtures indicate that occupational exposure to solvent mixtures may induce neuroendocrine effects through an effect on hypothalamic pituitary axis.

      • 양생조건에 따른 고강도 콘크리트의 건조수축 및 자기수축에 관한 실험연구

        High-strength concrete is used in high rise building effectively but it has cracks due to the autogenous shrinkage. Therefore we performed a variety of experiments to analyze the characteristic of the autogenous and drying shrinkage of High-Strength concrete with the temperature and humidity in curing conditions. We measured the length change rate of experimented objects using Contact-Guage Method in the concrete of water-cement ratio 30% with the change of temperature(10, 20, 30℃) and relative humidity(30, 60, 90%). In consequence, on the first, the higher humidity, the lower autogenus shrinkage and drying shrinkage. second, it has the lowest length change of autogenus shrinkage and drying shrinkage in case of 10 ℃, and it is no difference between 20℃ and 30℃ for the constant humidity of 60% test. On the third, the ratio of drying shrinkage to autogenus shrinkage is the highest in case of the 30℃ temperature and 90% of relative humidity.

        Process of the Concrete waste is recently become gradually for difficult environment and other problems. Because it cannot search for reclaiming place for remnant of re-development buldings, the pending development project was broken out. But, concrete waste have a various recycling method and fixing the environment problem. Use of Unsaturated Polyester resin is better than cement on a strength and durability. Also, use of a centrifugar force in forming process is expected more effective viewed in a durability against environment influence. Therfore, the purpose of this study seek for proper proportion through a prior experiment to make curbs with recycling aggregation and sludge from concrete waste. Then it apply to centrifugar force mold. The experimental mixing proportion was planned to acquire of a optimum workability and filling capability of resin mortar mixed with using the recycled aggregate.
