        마이너리티의 언어와 신체 -사키야마 다미에서 한림화까지-

        이 글의 관심은 제주문학과 오키나와문학이 표준어 문학장에 대응하는 양상들을 살펴보려는 데에서 출발하였다. 제주문학과 오키나와문학을 함께 살펴보는 이유는 언어적 위계가 일국적 차원의 특수하고 개별적 차원의 문제가 아니라는 점을 규명하기 위해서다. 특히 제주어와 오키나와어는 각각 표준어라는 상징 언어와 다른 독특한 언어체계를 구축해왔다는 점에서 좋은 비교 대상이 되는데, 이를테면 한림화와 사키야마 다미의 작품에서 구현되고 있는 언어의 위계 극복, 언어적 실천 문제가 그것이다. 무엇보다 표준어라는 자명한 세계를 거부하고 이질적인 발화들로 가득한 지역어의 존재를 확인시켜 주는 점에서 두 작가가 공명하는 바가 크다. 두 작가의 작품을 비교해 본 결과 다음과 같은 유의미한 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 즉 누가 말하는가, 누가 기억하는가를 둘러싼 기억투쟁이 ‘제주와 오키나와의 기억투쟁’이었던 점은 분명하나, 제주와 오키나와의 기억투쟁을 (여성)수난사적 관점에서 바라보는 것은 오히려 국가의 기억이 지니고 있는 폭력성을 지역 안에서 되풀이하는 일이 될 수 있으며, 여성을 비롯한 소수자의 언어를 대상화하지 않고 주체적 선택과 자율적 의지를 표출했던 아우성으로 기억할 때 제주와 오키나와의 기억은 한층 더 풍부해질 수 있으리라는 사실이다. The interest in this article began attempting to examine aspects of Jeju literature and Okinawa literature responding to the standard language literature books. The reason for looking into Jeju literature along with Okinawa literature is to investigate that the linguistic rank is not a special and individual problem at the national level. Jeju and Okinawa, especially, are good comparison targets for having established unique language systems differ from the symbolic language of the standard language, respectively, for example, it is the matter of overcoming the rank of language and linguistic practice embodied in the works of Hanlimhwa and Tami Sakiyama. Above all, the two writers resonate greatly as rejecting the self-evident world of standard language and confirming the existence of a local language full of heterogeneous uttering. After comparing the works of the two writers, the following meaningful conclusions were obtained. That is, it is clear that the memory struggle surrounding who speaks and who remembers was a “memory struggle between Jeju and Okinawa” but looking at the memory struggle between Jeju and Okinawa from a (female’s) historic perspective of suffering can be a repetition of the violence of the nation’s memories in the region, and it is a fact that memories of Jeju and Okinawa can be even more enriched when remembered as an outcry that expressed independent choices and autonomous wills without targeting the languages of women and other minorities.

        자살에 대한 통합력 이론의 접근 : 유서내용의 분석을 중심으로

        The aim of this study is to analyze perception of themselves and their subjective circumstance of those who commit suicide, rather than to list the causes of suicide, and to identify the level of Sense of Coherence (SOC) and General Resistant Resources (GRRs) through applying Antonovsky’s SOC theory on the results of analyzing suicide notes, and to explain suicide pathway including the relationship of SOC and GRRs by analyzing each case. The data was suicide notes that collected by three police stations from 1997 to 2006, the number of those was 315, but final data was only 154 suicide notes which included introspection of those who commit suicide. This research utilized a deductive ‘‘top down’’ approach and in doing so it employed a theoretical thematic analysis. It took SOC theory and mapped it onto the data set. The thematic analysis revealed that SOC theory mapped effectively onto that data. The analysis also revealed comprehensibility matched “difficulty of understanding the situation”, “psychological pain” and “no solutions”, and manageability matched “negative past orientation”, “loss of control” and “break of connectivity”, and meaningfulness matched “loss of life meaning” and “hopelessness”, which explained the level of SOC was extremely low. And those who commit suicide faced the complex situation, which lack many kinds of GRRs such as material resources, physical resources, social support, self-confidence and coping strategy. It gave those who commit suicide severe psychological pain, powerlessness and loss of life meaning. But even though they faced that stressful situation, they could response properly and healthily only if they had enough another core resources. The goal of prevention of suicide is to enhance SOC, which help to overcome the sufferings, to understand of life structure and to restore their life. For this goal, it needs to be improved the level of GRRs and developed various resources to cope with problematic situation.

        유아 놀이와 연극의 관계성 분석과 지향점 탐색 - 「들뢰즈와 내부작용 유아교육」을 중심으로 -

        본 연구는 「들뢰즈와 내부작용 유아교육」의 에피소드를 중심으로 놀이속에서 연극성의 의미를 모색하고, 유아 놀이에서 나타난 놀이와 연극의 관계성을 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위해 유아교육 현장에서 연극적 놀이가 이루어진 선행연구를 탐색하였으며, 이를 토대로 「들뢰즈와 내부작용 유아교육」에서 나타난 놀이의 연극성을 살펴보았다. 연구 방법은 「들뢰즈와 내부작용 유아교육」에 나타난 에피소드를 중심으로 놀이와 연극의 관계성을 분석하는 문헌연구(Literature study)로 진행되었다. 본 연구결과는 「들뢰즈와 내부작용 유아교육」의 에피소드에서 놀이의 연극성을 위한 목적 및 목표, 교수·학습 방법, 평가 및 효과로 정리할 수 있었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로, 유아교육현장에서 교수·학습에 관한 적용방법을 모색할 수 있는 시사점과 유아교사와 유아들에게 연극적 놀이 활용의 이해와 발전방안을 제시하고자 한다. This study is to explore the meaning of play as play using Deleuze and internal action, and to explore practical applicability to early childhood teachers and children in the field of early childhood education. To this end, by exploring the episodes in Deleuze and Internal Action, we tried to provide basic data that can promote the holistic growth of children by providing early childhood teachers with an understanding of the use of play as a play and a rich experience through this. As a research method, literature study was used to study the episodes in the purpose, goal, content, teaching/learning method, evaluation, and effect of theatrical play among the theatrical composition of play shown in 「Deleuze and Early Childhood Education」. Based on the results of this study, implications for finding application methods related to teaching and learning in the field of early childhood education were presented. Above all, in the field of early childhood education, implications for understanding and development of play as play were presented to early childhood teachers and children.

        대학생의 디지털 글쓰기 인식 조사 분석

        목적 본 연구는 최근 디지털 시대 변화에 따른 대학생의 디지털 글쓰기 인식을 성별, 전공 계열별로 분석해보고 디지털 쓰기수행에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하여 디지털 쓰기 교육의 계획 및 실천에 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 부산 소재 대학교 재학생 1학년 379명을 대상으로 디지털 글쓰기 인식 설문조사(9개 하위 구성요소, 20문항)를 실시하였으며 SPSS 25.0 버전을 이용해 통계적으로 분석하였다. 성별과 계열 간 차이를 알아보기 위해서 각각 독립표본 t검정, 일원배치 분산분석(one-way Anova)을 실시하였으며, 디지털 쓰기수행에 미치는 요인을 알아보기 위해 상관분석, 다중 회귀분석(multiple regression analysis)을 실시하였다. 결과 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기술통계에서는 디지털 쓰기가치와 쓰기불안의 평균 점수가 가장 높았다. 둘째, 디지털 글쓰기 인식에 대한 성별 차이는 디지털 쓰기불안만이 통계적으로 유의하였으며, 남학생보다 여학생의 평균 점수가 높았다. 셋째, 디지털 글쓰기 인식에 대한 계열 차이를 문항별로 분석한 결과 디지털 쓰기수행과 디지털 쓰기인정이 통계적으로 유의한 결과를 보였으며 자연·공학계열보다 인문·사회계열의 평균 점수가 더 높았다. 마지막으로 디지털 쓰기수행에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석한 결과 디지털 쓰기효능감, 독자고려, 디지털 쓰기가치, 디지털 쓰기윤리 순으로 나타났다. 결론 디지털 기기와 기술의 영향으로 문식환경이 변함에 따라 전통적 글쓰기와 차이가 발생함을 고려하여 디지털 글쓰기의 특성, 인식 등의 분석을 통해 디지털 글쓰기 교육의 시사점을 논의하였다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 대학생을 대상으로 한 디지털 쓰기윤리 교육의 필요성, 이공계열 대학생의 쓰기 수행 및 쓰기인식 강화 방안이 필요함을 알 수 있었으며 디지털 쓰기수행에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것은 디지털 쓰기효능감으로 그간의 선행연구 결과와 일치하였다. Objectives The purpose of this study was to analyze university students' perception of digital writing by gender and major, and also to analyze the factors that influence these differences on digital writing performance. Methods A digital writing recognition survey (9 sub-components, 20 questions) was conducted for 379 first-year students at a university in Busan. Independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, simple linear regression, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 25.0 version was performed. Results First, in descriptive statistics, the average score of digital writing value and writing anxiety was the highest. Second, as for the gender difference in digital writing recognition, only digital writing anxiety was statistically significant, and the average score of female students was higher than male students. Third, when analyzing the difference in the series of digital writing recognition by item, digital writing performance and digital writing recognition showed statistically significant results, and the average score of humanities and social sciences was higher than that of natural sciences and engineering. Finally, as a result of analyzing the factors affecting digital writing performance, it was found in the order of digital writing efficacy, reader consideration, digital writing value, and digital writing ethics. Conclusions In this study, it was emphasized that it should be considered that there is a difference from traditional writing as the literacy environment changes due to the influence of digital devices and technology. The implications of digital writing education were presented through the analysis of characteristics and perceptions of digital writing. Through the results of this study, it was confirmed that digital writing ethics education for university students is necessary and that it is necessary to strengthen writing performance and writing awareness among science and engineering college students. The biggest influence on digital writing performance was digital writing efficacy, which was consistent with the results of previous studies.

        Methylobacterium terrae sp. nov., a radiation-resistant bacterium isolated from gamma ray-irradiated soil

        A Gram-stain-negative, asporogenous, aerobic rods, motile by means of a single polar flagellum, catalase- and oxidase-positive, methylotrophic bacterium, designated 17Sr1-28T, was isolated from gamma ray-irradiated soil. The 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis showed that strain 17Sr1-28T was phylogenetically related to Methylobacterium currus PR1016AT (96.8%), Methylobacterium platani PMB02T (96.2%), Methylobacterium aquaticum DSM 16371T (96.3%), Methylobacterium tarhaniae N4211T (96.4%), Methylobacterium frigidaeris IER25-16T (95.8%), and Methylobacterium organophilum JCM 2833T (92.7%). The G+C content calculated based on genome sequence was 71.6%. The average nucleotide identity and in silico DNA-DNA hybridization values between strain 17Sr1- 28T and M. currus, M. platani, M. aquaticum, M. tarhaniae, M. frigidaeris, and M. organophilum were 77.7–90.4% and 22–39.6%, respectively. The major fatty acids of strain 17Sr1- 28T were summed feature 8 (C18:1 ω7c and/or C18:1 ω6c), and summed feature 3 (C16:1 ω7c and/or C16:1 ω6c). The predominant quinone was ubiquinone 10 and the major polar lipids were diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine, and phosphatidylglycerol. On the basis of the data from phenotypic tests and genotypic differences between strain 17Sr1-28T and its close phylogenetic relatives, strain 17Sr1-28T represents a new species belonging to the genus Methylobacterium, for which the name Methylobacterium terrae sp. nov. (= KCTC 52904T = NBRC 112873T) is proposed.

        Education as a Protective Factor Moderating the Effect of Depression on Memory Impairment in Elderly Women

        ObjectiveaaThe cognitive reserve theory explicates individual differences observed in the clinical manifestation of dementia despite similar brain pathology. Education, a popular proxy of the cognitive reserve, has been shown to have protective effects delaying the onset of clinical symptoms including memory. This study was conducted to test whether education can moderate the negative effect of depressive mood on memory performance in elderly women residing in the community. Methodsaa29 elderly “unschooled” female (less than 6 years of formal education) and 49 “schooled” female (6 or more years) people were compared with regard to association between depressive mood and verbal memory functioning, which were measured by the Geriatric Depression Scale and the Elderly Verbal Learning Test, respectively. ResultsaaThe results showed that completing or receiving more than primary school education significantly reduced the negative association between depressive mood and memory performance. Participants who did not complete primary schooling showed a decline in memory test scores depending on the level of depressive mood; whereas participants who have completed or received more than primary education displayed relatively stable memory function despite varying level of depressive mood. ConclusionaaOur findings imply that education in early life may have protective effects against memory impairment related to elderly depression.

      • Meta Reinforcement Learning Based Underwater Manipulator Control

        Robots have garnered significant attention owing to their advantages in terms of replacing human labor under hazardous environments. In particular, because underwater construction robots can perform various tasks that are highly dangerous under deep sea environments, the development of manipulator control technology for these underwater robots is crucial. In this study, we therefore introduce an underwater manipulator control method based on meta reinforcement learning. Specifically, we construct a real-world underwater robot manipulator environment using ROS Gazebo and conduct simulations for the testing and verification of the proposed method.

        Modified Weil Osteotomy for the Treatment of Freiberg’s Disease

        Background:Numerous metatarsal osteotomies have been developed for the treatment of Freiberg’s disease. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical outcomes of modified Weil osteotomy in the treatment of Freiberg's disease. Methods: From November 2001 to July 2008, nineteen patients (twenty feet), treated surgically for Freiberg's disease, were included in this study. The average age of the patients was 33.6 years (range, 17 to 62 years), the mean follow-up period was 71.6 months (range, 41 to 121 months). Clinical outcomes were evaluated according to visual analogue scale (VAS), American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) lesser metatarsophalangeal-interphalangeal scale, the patients’ subjective satisfaction and range of motion (ROM) of metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint. In the radiologic evaluation, initial metatarsal shortening by Freiberg’s disease compared to opposite site, metatarsal shortening after modified Weil osteotomy compared with preoperative radiography and term for radiologic union were observed. Results: VAS showed improvement from 6.2 ± 1.4 to 1.4 ± 1.5 at last follow-up (p < 0.0001). Points of AOFAS score increased from 63.3 ± 14.9 to 80.4 ± 5.6 (p < 0.0001). ROM of MTP joints also improved from 31.3 ± 10.1 to 48.3 ± 13.0 degrees at last follow-up (p < 0.0001). According to Smillie's classification system, there was no significant improvement of VAS, AOFAS score and ROM between early stages (stage I, II, and III) and late stages (stage IV and V). Out of twenty cases, nineteen (95%) were satisfied, reporting excellent or good results. Conclusions: Modified Weil osteotomy is believed to be a useful method for the treatment of Freiberg's disease, not only in the early stages but also in the late stages. It relieves pain and improves function via shortening of metatarsals and restoration of MTP joint congruency.
