        Link Prediction Algorithm for Signed Social Networks Based on Local and Global Tightness

        Given that most of the link prediction algorithms for signed social networks can only complete sign prediction, a novel algorithm is proposed aiming to achieve both link prediction and sign prediction in signed networks. Based on the structural balance theory, the local link tightness and global link tightness are defined respectively by using the structural information of paths with the step size of 2 and 3 between the two nodes. Then the total similarity of the node pair can be obtained by combining them. Its absolute value measures the possibility of the two nodes to establish a link, and its sign is the sign prediction result of the predicted link. The effectiveness and correctness of the proposed algorithm are verified on six typical datasets. Comparison and analysis are also carried out with the classical prediction algorithms in signed networks such as CN-Predict, ICN-Predict, and PSNBS (prediction in signed networks based on balance and similarity) using the evaluation indexes like area under the curve (AUC), Precision, improved AUC′, improved Accuracy′, and so on. Results show that the proposed algorithm achieves good performance in both link prediction and sign prediction, and its accuracy is higher than other algorithms. Moreover, it can achieve a good balance between prediction accuracy and computational complexity.

        Comparative Study of Camel Milk from Different Areas of Xinjiang Province in China

        Xinjiang province is the main camel feeding area in China with a large square, and camel milk from different areas have different qualities. By now, there are few reports about the quality of camel milk from different areas of Xinjiang province in China. In this study, seven batches of camel milk and one batch of cow milk were collected, and the contents of fat, protein, lactose, total solid, and nonfat milk solid of these milk samples were determined, as well as the contents of lysozyme and vitamin C. All samples were scored and compared by principal component analysis score and comprehensive weighted multi-index score. As the results, camel milk from different areas showed different contents of fat (4.62%–7.02%), protein (3.34%–3.95%), lactose (3.85%–4.79%), total solid (13.59%–17.00%), nonfat milk solid (8.55%–9.73%), vitamin C (12.10–41.25 μg/mL), and lysozyme (8.70–22.80 μg/mL), as well as different qualities. This variation would help people to know more about quanlity of camel milk in Xinjiang province. Camel milk from Jeminay showed the best quality, and then followed by camel milk from Fukang, Changji, and Fuhai, while cow milk showed the lowest score. Therefore, Jeminay is the most suitable place for grazing camels. Our findings show the different qualities of camel milk in different distribution areas of Xinjiang province, and provide an insight for the evaluation of camel milk. In the present study, only seven components in camel milk were determined, many other factors, such as cfu, mineral, and other vitamins, have not been considered.

        Effect of Media Components and Morphology of Bacillus natto on Menaquinone-7 Synthesis in Submerged Fermentation

        Vitamin K2 (menaquinone or MK) plays an important role in blood clotting, cardiovascular disease, and anti-osteoporosis. A novel bacterial strain was isolated and identified as Bacillus natto based on 16SrDNA sequencing and LC-MS analysis. The objective of this study was to improve the extraction efficiency and productivity of MK-7 from B. natto. Acid-heating method efficiently disrupted B. natto cells for MK-7 extraction. Bacillus natto had a wide range of pH (5.0 ~ 9.0) for optimal growth. Its MK-7 yield was increased when rotation speed was increased to 200 rpm. The highest MK-7 yield was obtained when glycerol and soy peptone were used in the growth media. Batch fermentation was subsequently tested in 5 L bioreactor, which gave a high productivity of MK-7 (at 0.60 mg/L/h). A positive correlation between MK-7 yield and sporulation ratio was also found. This study provides valuable information on the extraction and production of menaquinone-7 from B. natto under submerged fermentation condition.

        자본관리감독은 상업은행 건전성관리감독의 핵심이다. 개혁개방 이후 30여 년간 은행 자본관리감독은 제도 초창기(1995년 7월 이전) 자본 연성 제약(軟約束,1995년 7월부터2004년 2월까지)과 자본 경성 제약(硬約束)(2004년 3월부터 현재까지)의 3단계를 거쳤으며, 은행감독규제에서 자본도구의 지위와 역할에 대한 이해는 점차 심화 된 것이다 바젤협약III을 실행하기 위하여 중국은행업감독관리위원회(China Banking Regulatory Commission,이하 “CBRC”)는 2012년 6월<상업은행자본관리규정(시행)>(商業銀行資本管理判法(實行))을 발표하였으며, 새로운 자본관리규정은 2013년 1월1일부로 실시될 예정이다. 신 규정은 기존 자본감독규제상 규제위험 종류가 적고 위험에 대한 민감성이 부족하며 상업은행의 위험관리에 격려메커니즘이 부족한 등의 문제점을 해결하였고 자기자본비율 감독관리요구를 세분화하고 높였으며 자본의 범위를 엄격히 하고 자본규제위험의 범위와 자본규제의 범위를 확대하였다. 또한 신용위험가중치를 조정하고 은행위험관리규제의 인센티브를 수립하였으며 상업은행 분류기준과 분류방법을 개정하고 은행에 대한 차별화 관리감독을 강조하였고 은행의 정보공시를 엄격히 규제하였다. 신 규정은 은행시스템의 안전성을 높이고 은행의 손실흡수능력을 높였으며 실체경제의 순조로운 운행에 이롭게 하였다. 신 규정의 실행으로 인하여 은행 자산충족률이 보편적으로 낮아지고 모든 은행들이 자본보충의 압력을 받게 되였다 그러나 대출충당률(貸款拔備率)의 감독관리요구와 자본시장의 감당력은 은행의 자본보충을 어렵게 함으로써 자본공구의 창조가 급박하게 되었다. 자본제약의 강화는 향후은행의 업무구조에 영향을 미치게 되며 은행으로 하여금 자본소모가 많은 기존의 호방식 경영모델(extensive operation model)에 변화를 주도록 압력을 줄 것이며, 이는 은행의 장기적인 발전에 유리하게 작용할 것이다. Capital regulation is the core of the prudential supervision of commercial banks, More than thirty years since the reform and opening up of new China, the regulatory capital of the bank experienced a system start-up (from the reform and opening up to 1995 June), capital soft constraints (1995 July to 2004 February) and capital hard constraints (2004 March up to now) in three stages, our understanding of the status and role of capital instruments in the banking supervision is gradually depth. In order to implement the Base lII,2012June China Banking Regulatory Commission released a commercial bank capital management(Trial), the new capital management approach will be implemented on January 1,2013. The new approach to overcome it exists on the original capital regulation covers the types of risks, the risk of a lack of the original capital regulation covers the types of risks, the risk of a lack of sensitivity, risk management of commercial banks lack incentives defects. The new approach to refine and improve the capital adequacy ratio of regulatory requirements strict a definition of capital coverage of the border, to adjust the credit risk of the right weight, to establish a bank risk tubes control the incentives, to modify the commercial banks classification criteria and classification method, emphasizing the differentiated supervision of banks, and strictly regulate the disclosure of bank information. The new approach will enhance the security of the banking system, and enhance the ability of banks to absorb losses, which will help the real economy benign. However, the implementation of the new approach will give banks capital replenishment; loan provision rate regulatory requirements and the capacity of the capital market, will enable the bank`s capital supplement difficult, capital instruments innovation is imminent; the capital constraints further enhanced impact will be the next bank business structure, forcing the bank to change the extensive operation mode high capital consumption, which will have a favorable impact on the bank`s long-term development.

      • <i>Loose Plant Architecture1</i> ( <i>LPA1</i> ) determines lamina joint bending by suppressing auxin signalling that interacts with C-22-hydroxylated and 6-deoxo brassinosteroids in rice

        <P>Lamina inclination is a key agronomical character that determines plant architecture and is sensitive to auxin and brassinosteroids (BRs). <I>Loose Plant Architecture1</I> (<I>LPA1</I>) in rice (<I>Oryza sativa</I>) and its Arabidopsis homologues (<I>SGR5/AtIDD15</I>) have been reported to control plant architecture and auxin homeostasis. This study explores the role of <I>LPA1</I> in determining lamina inclination in rice. <I>LPA1</I> acts as a positive regulator to suppress lamina bending. Genetic and biochemical data indicate that <I>LPA1</I> suppresses the auxin signalling that interacts with C-22-hydroxylated and 6-deoxo BRs, which regulates lamina inclination independently of <I>OsBRI1</I>. Mutant <I>lpa1</I> plants are hypersensitive to indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) during the lamina inclination response, which is suppressed by the brassinazole (Brz) inhibitor of C-22 hydroxylase involved in BR synthesis. A strong synergic effect is detected between <I>lpa1</I> and <I>d2</I> (the defective mutant for catalysis of C-23-hydroxylated BRs) during IAA-mediated lamina inclination. No significant interaction between <I>LPA1</I> and <I>OsBRI1</I> was identified. The <I>lpa1</I> mutant is sensitive to C-22-hydroxylated and 6-deoxo BRs in the <I>d61-1</I> (rice <I>BRI1</I> mutant) background. We present evidence verifying that two independent pathways function via either BRs or <I>BRI1</I> to determine IAA-mediated lamina inclination in rice. RNA sequencing analysis and qRT-PCR indicate that <I>LPA1</I> influences the expression of three <I>OsPIN</I> genes (<I>OsPIN1a</I>, <I>OsPIN1c</I> and <I>OsPIN3a</I>), which suggests that auxin flux might be an important factor in <I>LPA1</I>-mediated lamina inclination in rice.</P>

        Keratin 1 maintains the intestinal barrier in ulcerative colitis

        Background The intestinal mechanical barrier plays a key role in the pathogenesis of ulcerative colitis (UC). Our previous study showed keratin 1 (KRT1) was downregulated in UC, but the mechanism by which KRT1 afects the intestinal barrier remains unknown. Objectives To explore the mechanism of KRT1 in the intestinal barrier in UC. Methods Colonic tissues were collected from 20 UC patients before and after mucosal healing (MH) and 15 healthy controls. The expression of KRT1 was measured by PCR, western blotting and immunohistochemistry (IHC). A dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced colitis model was established in krt1 transgenic (TG) mice, and the mice were treated with methylprednisolone (MP) to explore the role of KRT1 in the intestinal barrier. Infammation was evaluated through the DAI score, colon, spleen and H&E. The expression of KRT1 and tight junction (TJ) proteins in mouse was analysed by the same methods. Results The transcription and expression of KRT1 in UC was decreased and recovered after MH but did not reach the level of the healthy controls. Similar to the clinical results, the expression of krt1 was decreased in DSS-induced colitis and upregulated after MP. Moreover, the krt1 TG group exhibited less infammation than wild-type (WT) group. The expression of Occludin and ZO-1 decreased after DSS induction, the decreases in Occludin and ZO-1 in the krt1 TG group were lower than WT group, which was signifcantly increased after MP, while the expression of Claudin-2 exhibited the opposite efect. Conclusions Keratin 1 maintains the intestinal barrier by upregulating TJ proteins in UC.

        Separation of Nattokinase from Bacillus subtilis Fermentation Broth by Expanded Bed Adsorption with Mixed-mode Adsorbent

        Mixed-mode hydrophobic/ionic matrices exhibit a salt-tolerant property for adsorbing target protein from high-ionic strength feedstock, which allows the application of undiluted feedstock via an expanded bed process. In the present work, a new type of mixed-mode adsorbent designed for expanded bed adsorption, Fastline PRO, was challenged for the capture of nattokinase from the high ionic fermentation broth of Bacillus subtilis. Two important factors, pH and ion concentration, were investigated with regard to the performance of nattokinase adsorption. Under initial fermentation broth conditions (pH 6.6 and conductivity of 10 mS/cm) the adsorption capacity of nattokinase with Fastline PRO was high, with a maximum capacity of 5,350 U/mL adsorbent. The elution behaviors were investigated using packed bed adsorption experiments, which demonstrated that the effective desorption of nattokinase could be achieved by effecting a pH of 9.5. The biomass pulse response experiments were carried out in order to evaluate the biomass/adsorbent interactions between Bacillus subtilis cells and Fastline PRO, and to demonstrate a stable expanded bed in the feedstock containing Bacillus subtilis cells. Finally, an EBA process, utilizing mixed-mode Fastline PRO adsorbent, was optimized to capture nattokinase directly from the fermentation broth. The purification factor reached 12.3, thereby demonstrating the advantages of the mixed-mode EBA in enzyme separation.
