        Effects of regeneration conditions on sulfated CuSSZ-13 catalyst for NH3-SCR

        To understand the role of regeneration conditions on sulfur-poisoned Cu/SSZ-13 catalysts for NH3-SCR, the physicochemical characterizations and NOx conversions were investigated. The sulfur-poisoned Cu/SSZ-13 catalysts were treated at different conditions as a function of temperature and duration. TGA results revealed that regeneration at 500 oC only removed parts of sulfur spices and at 700 oC can completely remove all sulfur spices. The physical structural characterizations results illustrate that regeneration below 700 oC has no significant impact on CHA structure for Cu/SSZ-13 catalysts, while dealumination occurs on poisoned Cu/SSZ-13 when regeneration temperature is higher than 700 oC. EPR and H2-TPR results show that the sulfate decomposition and Cu migration reactions involved during regeneration and, as a result, the content of Cu2+ gradually increased as the extent of regeneration increased. The kinetics tests support that NOx conversion recovery is related to the content of Cu2+ increase during regeneration. Our study reveals that the optimum regeneration temperature is 700 oC, because severe dealumination at 750 oC inhibited Cu2+ amount increase.

        Ginseng has been used as a popular herbal medicine in East Asia for at least two millennia. However, 20(R)-ginseng saponins, one class of important rare ginsenosides, are rare in natural products. 20(R)-ginseng saponins are generally prepared by chemical epimerization and microbial transformation from 20(S)-isomers. The C20 configuration of 20(R)-ginseng saponins are usually determined by <sup>13</sup>C NMR and X-ray single-crystal diffraction. 20(R)-ginseng saponins have antitumor, antioxidative, antifatigue, neuroprotective, and osteoclastogenesis inhibitory effects, among others. Owing to the chemical structure and pharmacological and stereoselective properties, 20(R)-ginseng saponins have attracted a great deal of attention in recent years. In this study, the discovery, identification, chemical epimerization, microbial transformation, pharmacological activities, and metabolism of 20(R)-ginseng saponins are summarized.

        Elastic Foundation Beam Solution of Tensile Flexible Retaining Wall

        The application of fl exible retaining walls in foundation pit engineering is gradually increasing. At present, many practical engineering problems need to be solved. This article takes a corrugated steel retaining wall with tensile reinforcement, for example, assuming that it is an elastic foundation beam model. A typical vertical thin layer unit is taken on the retaining wall for analysis. It uses the waveform integration method to calculate the moment of inertia, deriving the diff erential equation of fl exural deformation of corrugated steel retaining wall and establishing the theoretical formula for deformation of corrugated steel retaining wall under fi lling pressure behind the wall. Finally, a FLAC3D model was established to simulate the deformation of corrugated steel retaining walls in practical engineering, and the fi nal numerical simulation results were consistent with the theoretical formula. Thus, providing a theoretical basis for the deformation of such fl exible retaining structures.

        Resilient Consensus Control for Linear Multi-agent System Against the False Data Injection Attacks

        This paper is concerned with the resilient consensus control problem of the linear multi-agent system under the false data injection attacks, where each agent may receive the injected false data by attackers from its neighbours through communication links. Due to the existence of the false data, the desired consensus of multi-agent can not be reached by the general distributed consensus algorithms. By constructing an extended state observer to estimate the state and the injected false data towards each agent, a distributed resilient consensus control algorithm is designed to offset the negative effect of the attacks. Firstly, a sufficient condition is derived for the undirected multiagent system under a bounded and decaying false data injection. Secondly, a sufficient and necessary condition is provided for the directed multi-agent system under the false data injection with decaying rate. Finally, the simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed consensus algorithms against the false data attacks.

        Hedonic Coalition Formation for Distributed Task Allocation in Heterogeneous Multi-agent System

        Due to the complexity of tasks in the real world, multiple agents with different capabilities tend to cooperate to handle diverse requirements of these tasks by forming coalitions. To solve the problem of finding optimal heterogeneous coalition compositions, this paper proposes a novel distributed hedonic coalition formation game method to solve the task allocation problem for multiple heterogeneous agents. Firstly, to quantify the intention of an agent joining each coalition, a utility function for each agent is designed based on the cost and the reward with regard to the given tasks, where the heterogeneous requirements of tasks are also considered. Then, a preference relation related to the utility function is designed for the self-interested agents autonomously choose to join or leave a coalition. Subsequently, a theorem is presented, and analyses have been conducted to show that the proposed method achieves a Nash-stable solution in the heterogeneous system. Further, to develop a Nash stable partition result, a distributed hedonic coalition formation algorithm containing prioritization and consensus stages is designed for each agent to make decisions. The algorithm is implemented based on local interactions with neighbor agents under a connected communication network. Finally, simulations are conducted to verify the performance of the proposed method. Results show that the proposed method has the feasibility in solving heterogeneous composition and the broader scalability in different scenarios.

        Oxidative Stress Mediates Chemical Hypoxia-Induced Injury and Inflammation by Activating NF-κb-COX-2 Pathway in HaCaT Cells

        Hypoxia of skin is an important physiopathological process in many diseases, such as pressure ulcer, diabetic ulcer, and varicose ulcer. Although cellular injury and inflammation have been involved in hypoxia-induced dermatic injury, the underlying mechanisms remain largely unknown. This study was conducted to investigate the effects of cobalt chloride (CoCl_2), a hypoxia-mimicking agent, on human skin keratinocytes (HaCaT cells) and to explore the possible molecular mechanisms. Exposure of HaCaT cells to CoCl_2 reduced cell viability and caused overproduction of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and oversecretion of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and interleukin-8 (IL-8). Importantly, CoCl_2 exposure elicited overexpression of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and phosphorylation of nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) p65 subunit. Inhibition of COX-2 by NS-398, a selective inhibitor of COX-2, significantly repressed the cytotoxicity, as well as secretion of IL-6 and IL-8 induced by CoCl2. Inhibition of NF-κB by PDTC (a selective inhibitor of NF-κB) or genetic silencing of p65 by RNAi (Si-p65), attenuated not only the cytotoxicity and secretion of IL-6 and IL-8, but also overexpression of COX-2 in CoCl2-treated HaCaT cells. Neutralizing anti-IL-6 or anti-IL-8 antibody statistically alleviated CoCl2-induced cytotoxicity in HaCaT cells. N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC), a well characterized ROS scavenger, obviously suppressed CoCl_2-induced cytotoxicity in HaCaT cells, as well as secretion of IL-6 and IL-8. Additionally, NAC also repressed overexpression of COX-2 and phosphorylation of NF-κB p65 subunit induced by CoCl_2 in HaCaT cells. In conclusion, our results demonstrated that oxidative stress mediates chemical hypoxia-induced injur and inflammatory response through activation of NF-κB–COX-2 pathway in HaCaT cells.

        Effect of Overfeeding on Plasma Parameters and mRNA Expression of Genes Associated with Hepatic Lipogenesis in Geese

        The aim of our study was to research the effect of overfeeding on plasma parameters and mRNA expression of genes associated with hepatic lipogenesis in the Sichuan white goose and Landes goose. Fifty-four male Landes geese and 57 male Sichuan white geese were hatched on the same day under the same feeding conditions. After overfeeding for 14 days, (1) extrahepatic adipose tissues grew greatly in the Sichuan white geese, while more lipid accumulated in liver tissue in the Landes geese. (2) Sichuan white geese had a higher plasma concentration of triacylglycerols (TG), lipoproteins and insulin than the Landes geese. However, the Landes geese exhibited higher increase of plasma concentrations of TG, lipoproteins and insulin, with greater decrease of the diacylglycerol acyltransferase 2 (DGAT2) activity and DGAT2 mRNA level and a smller decrease of plasma glucose concentration. In addition, the mRNA level of MTP and LPL in liver was down- and up- regulated by overfeeding, respectively. (3) The correlations between the activity of LPL and the proportions of subcutaneous adipose tissue, abdominal adipose tissue, and liver weight, and the plasma concentration of VLDL were different in the two breeds. (4) The proportion of fatty liver weight was positively correlated to plasma concentrations of VLDL and TG in the overfed Sichuan white geese. Such a relationship did not exist in the Landes geese. (5) The activity of DGAT2 and its mRNA abundance in liver had significant negative correlations with the TG content in liver lipid and plasma insulin level in the Landes geese, while in the Sichuan white geese they had negative correlation (p>0.05) with TG concentration in liver lipid and had significant positive correlation with VLDL and TG concentrations in plasma.

        Study of the preparation and electrochemical performance of porous carbon derived from hypercrosslinked polymers

        Hypercrosslinked polymers HCPs have been widely used as precursors to prepare porous carbon materials because of their highly ordered porous structure and large specific surface area. In this paper, we used a solvothermal method to prepare a hypercrosslinked polymer, and the HCPC-700-A was prepared using an activation method with the hypercrosslinked polymer as the precursor. The effects of different carbon–alkali ratios on the microstructure, composition and electrochemical properties of porous carbon HCP were studied. The results show that the surface of porous carbon HCPC-700-A presents a relatively regular geometric shape, and a large number of pore structures are mainly micro- and mesopores. The specific surface area is 2074.53 m2 g−1, and the average pore size is between 1.29 and 1.93 nm. Porous carbon HCPC-700-1:2 has excellent electrochemical performance in 1 M H2SO4, and the specific capacitance is up to 464.4 F g−1 at a current density of 1 A g−1. The specific capacitance decay rate is 29.72% when the current density is increased from 1 A g−1 to 8 A g−1. After 5000 cycles, the capacitance retention rate is 91.16% at a current density of 2 A g−1, showing excellent electrochemical performance, good cycle stability and perfect energy storage performance. This research provides new experimental ideas for HCPs in the electrochemical energy storage field.

        Microscopic Simulation and Optimization of Signal Timing based on Multi-Agent: A Case Study of the Intersection in Tianjin

        The purpose of this paper is to optimize the signal timing through multi-agent simulation technology. Firstly, a conceptual model of the actual intersection is described. Secondly, the social dynamics model of the vehicle and pedestrian evolution rules are established from the micro perspective, which is simulated respectively by Anylogic and Synchro on this basis. Finally, the signal timing strategies for the different vehicle priorities are discovered through the heuristic algorithm. The case study shows that: ①The actual signal timing is not reasonable. ②The optimization strategies of signal timing can improve traffic efficiency. ③By comparing the signal timing strategies of different vehicle priority, the study shows that the Anylogic is more superior to the Synchro, which provides a new way to solve the traffic congestion.
