        Fourier Mode Decomposition of Unsteady Flows in a Single Injection Port Fluidic Thrust Vectoring Nozzle

        The flow field structure of a single injection port fluidic thrust vectoring nozzle was studied by introducing secondary flow injection in the expansion section of the two-dimensional convergent-divergent nozzle. To determine the motion characteristics of unsteady flow in a shock-induced fluidic vectoring nozzle, detached eddy simulation was conducted to simulate the three-dimensional flow field, and the flow mechanism in the nozzle was analyzed. Fourier mode decomposition was used to analyze the pressure coefficient on the symmetrical surface of the nozzle. Results show three natural frequencies in the flow field of the shock-induced fluidic vectoring nozzle. The first-order mode corresponding to frequency f1 = 512.8 Hz mainly illustrates the oscillation of shock waves. The second-order mode corresponding to frequency f2 = 2825 Hz illustrates the shedding of vortices. The third-order mode corresponding to frequency f3 = 4650 Hz is similar to the second-order mode; however, the spatial scales of vortices decrease.

        Ion/molecule imprinted polymers with double binding sites via twice imprinting strategy for selective and simultaneous removal of l-cyhalothrin and Cu(II)

        Herein we reported a facile method to prepare porous ion/molecule imprinted polymers (I-MIPs) viatwice imprinting strategy for the simultaneous uptake of copper ions (Cu(II)) and l-cyhalothrin (LC). Firstly, N-(b-aminoethyl)-g-aminopropytrimethoxysilane (DAMO) was grafted on silica particles surfaceto synthesis Cu(II)-imprinted polymers to introduce iron imprinted sites. They were then utilized asstabilizers to prepare a stable W/O Pickering HIPEs template (LC as the imprinting molecule), which wasthen polymerized with dual imprinting sites including Cu(II) and LC. The adsorption equilibrium, kineticresults and selective recognition experiments were exhibited their prospected dual selectivity andsimultaneous removal of LC and Cu(II).

      • Monoecism Algorithm in the Application of E-commerce Information Security

        With the development of e-commerce industry, the security of business information has attracted a lot of attention. The paper [1] puts forward the monoecism watermarking algorithm. The algorithm divides image into two parts: ROI (Region of interest) and RONI (Region Of Non Interest), and respectively deal with the two parts. Female watermark and male watermark are embedded into the RONI at the same time, and generate embedding watermark of the image. As is known to all, the integrity of ROI is also very important in e-commerce. This paper tries to apply the monoecism watermarking algorithm to e-commerce information security. The author gives six applications of the algorithm in electronic commerce that is graphical physical paper, electronic paper anti-counterfeiting, electronic seal, copyright protection, digital fingerprint generation, secure communication protection. This author introduced the embedding watermark and extracting watermark process and detection process of monoecism watermark algorithm. Through the analysis of simulation experiment of six application fields of monoecism watermark algorithm in the e-commerce information security, the simulation experiment has verified the validity of the algorithm. In a word, this paper has discussed the general rules of selecting ROI and the specific rules of selecting ROI in e-commerce applications. The simulation results are given, and the satisfactory results have been achieved.

        Fault-tolerant Control for Linear System Under Sensor Saturation Constraint

        An observer-based fault-tolerant control method is proposed for a linear system with sensor saturationconstraint. Considering the linear system with simultaneous actuator faults and sensor faults, the sensor saturation would bring the output measurement error of the system, which would result in the estimation performancedegradation. Firstly, the intermediate estimator is modified to estimate the system states and fault signals at thesimultaneous time, and the fault-tolerant controller is designed based on the estimation to compensate the effectof actuator faults effectively. Through Lyapunov stability analysis, the sufficient conditions are obtained to ensurethe states of closed-loop system to be uniformly ultimately bounded. The effect of sensor saturation error can besuppressed by adjusting some specified parameters directly without introducing any performance index. Finally, theeffectiveness and superiority of the proposed method are verified by a simulation example

        Characterization and mapping of a Prbs gene controlling spike development in Hordeum vulgare L.

        The barley mutant, poly-row-and-branchedspike (prbs) showed altered inflorescence morphology:complete conversion of the rudimentary lateral spikelets intwo-rowed barley into fully developed fertile spikeletssimilar to the six-rowed phenotype, and additional spikeletsin the middle of spike. Moreover, branched spikes emergedin progeny from a cross between the mutant and a sixrowedbarley cultivar. Morphological observation of thedevelopment of immature spikes of the mutant anddescendants with branched spikes showed that the Prbsgene is involved in spikelet development in the triplemoundstage. In mutant prbs, new meristems initiated atthe flanks of lateral spikelets and middle spikelet meristemswere converted to branch meristems, developing branchedspikes. These observations suggested that the Prbs geneplays a crucial role in spikelet initiation and identitymaintenance. The Prbs gene may be an important modifierin inflorescence differentiation from a panicle into a spike. The branched spikes emerging in hybrids from a crossbetween the mutant and six-rowed barley cultivar were notconferred by the gene vrs1 or Int-c, which decide spikemorphology in six-rowed barley. These results imply thatalthough six-row genes vrs1 and Int-c and prbs have similareffects on lateral spikelet development, they have differentfunctions in branched spikes. The Prbs gene wasmapped to chromosome 3H between SSR markerBmag0023 and marker Cbic60 at a genetic distance of 3.3and 5.4 centimorgans (cM), respectively.

        Serum MicroRNA Levels as a Noninvasive Diagnostic Biomarker for the Early Diagnosis of Hepatitis B Virus-Related Liver Fibrosis

        Background/Aims: To investigate the role of selected serum microRNA (miRNA) levels as potential noninvasive biomarkers for differentiating S0-S2 (early fibrosis) from S3-S4 (late fibrosis) in patients with a chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. Methods: One hundred twenty-three treatment-naive patients with a chronic HBV infection who underwent a liver biopsy were enrolled in this study. The levels of selected miRNAs were measured using a real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction assay. A logistic regression analysis was performed to assess factors associated with fibrosis progression. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve and discriminant analyses validated these the ability of these predicted variables to discriminate S0-S2 from S3-S4. Results: Serum miR-29, miR-143, miR-223, miR-21, and miR-374 levels were significantly downregulated as fibrosis progressed from S0-S2 to S3-S4 (p<0.05), but not miR-16. The multivariate logistic regression analysis identified a panel of three miRNAs and platelets that were associated with a high diagnostic accuracy in discriminating S0-S2 from S3-S4, with an area under the curve of 0.936. Conclusions: The levels of the studied miRNAs, with the exception of miR-16, varied with fibrosis progression. A panel was identified that was capable of discriminating S0-S2 from S3-S4, indicating that serum miRNA levels could serve as a potential noninvasive biomarker of fibrosis progression.         Magnetic, dielectric and optical properties of five-layered Aurivillius phase Bi6Fe2Ti3O18-based ceramics

        The structural, magnetic, dielectric and optical properties of Aurivillius Bi6Fe2Ti3O18-based ceramics were investigated in detail. The replacement of Co for Fe/Ti ions obviously varies the grain morphology. Compared with Bi6Fe2Ti3O18 (BFTO) with antiferromagnetic ordering, a spin glass state can be observed in Bi5.25La0.75Fe2Ti3O18 ceramic, while other samples exhibit the ferromagnetic behavior. The specimen Bi6Fe2Ti2(NbCo)0.5O18 (BFTNCO) represents the largest remanent magnetization Mr of 0.93emu/g among all the samples, which can be attributed to the combination of a short lattice parameter c and a large lattice distortion as well as more magnetic ions in a unit cell. The room-temperature dc conductivity of BFTNCO is one order magnitude lower than that of BFTO. In addition, the band gaps of Co-doped samples are about 0.2eV smaller than these of Co-free samples. This work provides a promising path forward to tailor the multiferroic and optical properties in five-layered Aurivillius compounds.

        Favorable Immunotherapy Plus Tyrosine Kinase Inhibition Outcome of Renal Cell Carcinoma Patients with Low CDK5 Expression

        Purpose Immunotherapy (IO) plus tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) has become the first-line treatment for advanced renal cell carcinoma, despite the lack of prognostic biomarkers. Cyclin-dependent kinase 5 (CDK5) affects the tumor microenvironment, which may influence the efficacy of TKI+IO. Materials and Methods Two cohorts from our center (Zhongshan Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma [ZS-MRCC] cohort, Zhongshan High-risk Localized Renal Cell Carcinoma [ZS-HRRCC] cohort) and one cohort from a clinical trial (JAVELIN-101) were enrolled. The expression of CDK5 of each sample was determined by RNA sequencing. Immune infiltration and T cell function were evaluated by flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry. Response and progression-free survival (PFS) were set as primary endpoints. Results Patients of low CDK5 expression showed higher objective response rate (60.0% vs. 23.3%) and longer PFS in both cohorts (ZS-MRCC cohort, p=0.014; JAVELIN-101 cohort, p=0.040). CDK5 expression was enhanced in non-responders (p < 0.05). In the ZS-HRRCC cohort, CDK5 was associated with decreased tumor-infiltrating CD8+ T cells, which was proved by immunohistochemistry (p < 0.05) and flow cytometry (Spearman’s ρ=–0.49, p < 0.001). In the high CDK5 subgroup, CD8+ T cells revealed a dysfunction phenotype with decreased granzyme B, and more regulatory T cells were identified. A predictive score was further constructed by random forest, involving CDK5 and T cell exhaustion features. The RFscore was also validated in both cohorts. By utilizing the model, more patients might be distinguished from the overall cohort. Additionally, only in the low RFscore did TKI+IO outperform TKI monotherapy. Conclusion High-CDK5 expression was associated with immunosuppression and TKI+IO resistance. RFscore based on CDK5 may be utilized as a biomarker to determine the optimal treatment strategy.
