On this Study, it conducts the Standards investigation about air leakage of Buildings for performance improvement of Smoke control in Fire. In domestic standards, it is incomplete the Criteria standards of air leakage. Therefore it is considered that won’t limit the smoke spread due to stack effect. But in the case of the United States, it conducts the Hot smoke air-Leakage test and it consider that can prevent the Smoke Spread in Compartment.

A Gram-negative bacterium was isolated from mushroom media that markedly reduces the level of extracellular toxins (i.e., tolaasins) produced by Pseudomonas tolaasii, the most destructive pathogen of cultivated mushrooms. The HC1 strain was selected as detoxifying tolaasin by bioassay on potato and it was identified Pseudomonas sp. by the cultural, morphological and physiological characteristics, and analysis of the 16S rRNA.. The isolated bacterium is saprophytic but not parasitic nor pathogenic to cultivation mushroom. The isolated bacterium for P. tolaasii cell, was sufficient for detoxification in vitro. Inoculation of the isolated bacterium prevents the development of bacterial disease in Pleurotus ostreatus, Flammunia velutipes and Agaricus bisporus. Control efficacy of brown blotch of strain HC1 treatment was 69, 68 and 55% on Agaricus bisporus, Flammulina velutipes and Pleurotus ostreatus, respectively. The suppressive bacterium may be useful in future for the development of biocontrol system and the construction of genetically modified edible fungi resistant to the disease caused by P. tolaasii.
Hypoallergenic and Physicochemical Properties of the A2 β-Casein Fraction of Goat Milk

Goat milk has a protein composition similar to that of breast milk and contains abundant nutrients, but its use in functional foods is rather limited in comparison to milk from other sources. The aim of this study was to prepare a goat A2 β-casein fraction with improved digestibility and hypoallergenic properties. We investigated the optimal conditions for the separation of A2 β-casein fraction from goat milk by pH adjustment to pH 4.4 and treating the casein suspension with calcium chloride (0.05 M for 1 h at 25°C). Selective reduction of β- lactoglobulin and αs-casein was confirmed using sodium dodecyl sulphate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography. The hypoallergenic property of A2 β-casein fraction was examined by measuring the release of histamine and tumor necrosis factor alpha from HMC-1 human mast cells exposed to different proteins, including A2 β-casein fraction. There was no significant difference in levels of both indicators between A2 β-casein treatment and the control (no protein treatment). The A2 β-casein fraction is abundant in essential amino acids, especially, branched-chain amino acids (leucine, valine, and isoleucine). The physicochemical properties of A2 β-casein fraction, including protein solubility and viscosity, are similar to those of bovine whole casein which is widely used as a protein source in various foods. Therefore, the goat A2 β-casein fraction may be useful as a food material with good digestibility and hypoallergenic properties for infants, the elderly, and people with metabolic disorders.
The Study on Photoneutron Produced by High Energy Linear Accelerator

A linear accelerator (LINAC) is the device most commonly used for external beam radiation treatments for patients with cancer. It delivers a uniform dose of high energy X-Rays to region of the patient's tumor and these X-Rays can destroy the cancer cells while sparing the surrounding normal tissue, including low skin doses and high dose rates at deep-seated tumors. However, at energies more than 10 MeV, photonuclear reactions produce neutron contamination around the therapeutic rooms and identified the typical radionuclide produced in the treatment room and the activation of the air. In this research, we have studied the photoneutron flux changes resulted from using a phantom and a wedge filter. Also, it detected with a BF-3 proportional counter were applied with field size (10×10 ㎠, 20×20 ㎠, 30×30 ㎠, 40×40 ㎠), dose (1 Gy, 2Gy, 3Gy, 4Gy, 5Gy), distances (1M, 2M, 3M) and directions (left, right, couch). It's analyzed with data by ANOVA using SPSS v14.0. The result show that was currently not taken into consideration in producing neutrons using a phantom, a wedge filter and directions (p>0.05). And there were significant change those measured using field sizes, doses and distances (p<0.001).
Tuberculous Pericarditis Mimicking a Malignant Pericardial Tumor: A Case Report

Tuberculous pericarditis is an extrapulmonary manifestation of tuberculosis that is most commonly associated with pericardial thickening, effusion, and calcification. We present a case of tuberculous pericarditis mimicking a malignant pericardial tumor in a 77-year-old male. CT revealed an irregular and nodular pericardial thickening. MRI revealed high signal intensity on T1-weighted fat-suppressed images and peripheral rim enhancement after gadolinium administration. MRI can be helpful in determining the differential diagnoses in cases of tuberculous pericarditis with nonspecific imaging findings.
Deactivation of barium oxide-based NOx storage and reduction catalyst by hydrothermal treatment

The deactivation of a barium oxide-based NOx storage and reduction (NSR) catalyst with hydrothermal treatment was studied by treating it with 10 vol% water vapor diluted in nitrogen at 850 oC. XRD, XPS, SEM, IR of CO adsorption, and the N2 adsorption was used to investigate the physical and chemical changes of the NSR catalyst caused by the hydrothermal treatment. The 12 h hydrothermal treatment decreased its NO2 storage capacity by 20%. However, the hydrothermal treatment significantly decreased its ability to reduce the stored NO2. The formation of an inactive phase consisting of platinum and aluminum is believed to be the cause of the severe deactivation of the NSR catalyst.
The Perinatal Outcomes of Twin-To-Twin Transfusion Syndrome for 10 Years` Experiences (2000-2009)

Twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) is the most serious complication in monochorionic twin. We investigated the stage and prognosis of pregnant women who diagnosed as TTTS at our institution for 10 years. Methods Between 2000 and 2009, 476 twins (312 dichorionic twins, 164 monochorionic twins) were born in our hospital. We reported the perinatal outcomes for 27 cases of TTTS (16% of monochorionic twins), which were classified by Quintero`s clinical staging. Stage was decided at the time of initial examination by ultrasound. We examined placentas of all cases after delivery and confirmed the exact chorionicity. In total 20 cases, amnioreduction were performed and 8 cases (16 baby) were followed. Results There were 8 cases of stage I, 2 case of stage II, 3 case of stage III, 4 cases of stage IV, and 10 cases of stage V. There was significant difference of the time period between diagnosis and birth in early stage of TTTS. In cases in which both fetuses survived, time period between diagnosis and birth, and pregnancy duration were significantly longer than other one fetus survived or both twin death cases. Amnioreduction was performed in 20 cases for the treatment of TTTS and 60% of mean survival rates of neonate were shown. There were 86% of survival rate in stage I-III, 27% in stage IV-V. Only one baby developed neurological sequelae after amnioreduction. Conclusion Early diagnosis of TTTS and aggressive amnioreduction may improve the fetal survival rate.
