        여성구두 형태의 디자인요소에 관한 감성반응 연구

        여성들이 구두를 구매하는데 있어서, 착용감과 가격도 중요한 선택요인이지만, 형태와 색상의 디자인은 절대적 요인이라고 할 수 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 여성구두의 디자인적 요소와 구매행위에 대하여 충분한 연구가 이루어졌다고 볼 수도 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 여성구두의 구매행위를 결정짓는 디자인요소와 감성반응간의 상호관련성에 대한 것을 연구주제로 설정하고 연구를 진행하였다. 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 구두이미지를 샘플자료로 수집하였고, 유사도에 따라 총 65개의 구두이미지와 24개의 구두관련 감성어휘를 추출하였다. 수량화이론 Ⅲ류를 이용하여 현시판되는 여성구두의 분포특성을 2차원 분산그래프로 전환하여 그 속성을 확인할 수 있는 것은 유의한 성과였다. 여성구두의 어떠한 형태적 요소가 여성구두 구매행태에서 가장 큰 감성어휘로 추출된 ‘세련된’을 종속변수로 설정한 수량화이론 Ⅰ류를 실행하였다. 그 결과, 굽의 굵기가 가장 영향을 끼치는 독립변수라는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는 여성구두 디자인에 대한 감성반응을 정량적으로 추출하고 그 상관관계에 대한 해석을 시도하였다는 점에 의의가 있다. 또한 특정 감성어휘를 형성하고 있는 디자인요소를 정량적으로 추출함으로써 향후 여성구두 디자이너들에게 신뢰도 있는 지표를 제공하였다는 점에서 학문적 의의를 둘 수 있다. When it comes to buying shoes, how it feels and how much it costs may be some of the things women consider. However, the design and the color of the shoes are the main factors that lead women to make their final decisions. Yet, the research on the relationship between the design of women’s shoes and the decision to purchase has been far from sufficient. For that matter, this research has been conducted to observe the correlation among design elements that determine the decision to purchase and the emotional responses. This research collected sample data from the shoe images of internet shopping malls of 65 shoe models and 24 shoe-related sensitive vocabularies. We made use of qualification theory III to convert data on women’s shoes into a two-dimensional dispersion graphs and arrived at a meaningful conclusion. Since ‘Chic(saeryeonduen)’ was the most critical word for women when purchasing shoes, we have applied qualification theory I on this word. We were able to find that the thickness of the heels was the dependant variable. This research is meaningful in that it was able to quantitatively show the emotional response of women to their shoe designs and tried to interpret the correlation between them. Also, its academic value lay in the fact that a quantitative extraction was done on a design factor that formulates an sensitive vocabulary, providing a credible indicator to women’s shoe designers.

        금속 박막의 유도초음파 분산 특성 연구

        나노/마이크로 소자의 개발이 활발해짐에 따라 나노/마이크로 박막의 기계적 물성의 정밀 측정에 대한 필요성이 점차 커지고 있다. 기존의 파괴적인 방법의 한계를 극복하기 위한 방법으로, 유도초음파를 이용한 비파괴적인 박막 물성 방법에 대한 관심이 늘어나고 있다. 유도초음파를 이용하여 박막의 물성을 측정하는 실험을 설계하거나, 물성 측정에 대한 실험 결과를 이해하는데 있어 박막의 분산선도를 이해하는 것은 필수적이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는, 전달 행렬법을 이용하여 박막의 분산선도를 계산하는 방법을 제시하고, 이를 금속 박막에 적용하여 그 특성을 관찰하였다. 전달 행렬법을 이용하여 다층판에서의 주파수에 따라 유도초음파가 전파하는 속도를 계산하여 상용 프로그램과 비교하여 그 타당성을 확인하였다. 이러한 방법을 Si 기판 위에 증착된 Al 금속 박막에 적용하여 얻은 분산곡선의 분석을 통해, 박막의 두께 조건에 따른 모드와 분산 및 비분산 특성이 나타나는 구간을 관찰할 수 있었다. In this study, we investigated the dispersion characteristics of guided waves in thin films. Dispersion curves are essential for understanding not only the behavior of ultrasonic waves, but also the mechanical properties of thin films. Matrix techniques are presented for modeling ultrasonic waves in multilayered structures before being used to calculate the dispersion curves for Al-steel and Al-composite specimens. When compared with the dispersion curves obtained using the commercial program (Disperse), the dispersion curves generated from the transfer matrix method show its validity. These developed methods are used to obtain dispersion curves for Al thin films deposited on a Si substrate. The resulting dispersion curves enable observation of both dispersive and nondispersive behavior for the guided waves, depending on the thickness of the thin films.

        Molecular and genomic features of <i>Mycobacterium bovis</i> strain 1595 isolated from Korean cattle

        <P>The aim of this study was to investigate the molecular characteristics and to conduct a comparative genomic analysis of <I>Mycobacterium</I> (<I>M.</I>) <I>bovis</I> strain 1595 isolated from a native Korean cow. Molecular typing showed that <I>M. bovis</I> 1595 has spoligotype SB0140 with mycobacterial interspersed repetitive units-variable number of tandem repeats typing of 4-2-5-3-2-7-5-5-4-3-4-3-4-3, representing the most common type of <I>M. bovis</I> in Korea. The complete genome sequence of strain 1595 was determined by single-molecule real-time technology, which showed a genome of 4351712 bp in size with a 65.64% G + C content and 4358 protein-coding genes. Comparative genomic analysis with the genomes of <I>Mycobacterium tuberculosis</I> complex strains revealed that all genomes are similar in size and G + C content. Phylogenetic analysis revealed all strains were within a 0.1% average nucleotide identity value, and MUMmer analysis illustrated that all genomes showed positive collinearity with strain 1595. A sequence comparison based on BLASTP analysis showed that <I>M. bovis</I> AF2122/97 was the strain with the greatest number of completely matched proteins to <I>M. bovis</I> 1595. This genome sequence analysis will serve as a valuable reference for improving understanding of the virulence and epidemiologic traits among <I>M. bovis</I> isolates in Korea.</P>

        Machine learning models with time-series clinical features to predict radiographic progression in patients with ankylosing spondylitis

        Objective: Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is chronic inflammatory arthritis causing structural damage and radiographic progression to the spine due to repeated and continuous inflammation over a long period. This study establishes the application of machine learning models to predict radiographic progression in AS patients using time-series data from electronic medical records (EMRs). Methods: EMR data, including baseline characteristics, laboratory findings, drug administration, and modified Stoke AS Spine Score (mSASSS), were collected from 1,123 AS patients between January 2001 and December 2018 at a single center at the time of first (T<sub>1</sub>), second (T<sub>2</sub>), and third (T<sub>3</sub>) visits. The radiographic progression of the (n+1)th visit (P<sub>n+1</sub>=(mSASSS<sub>n+1</sub>-mSASSS<sub>n</sub>)/(T<sub>n+1</sub>-T<sub>n</sub>)≥1 unit per year) was predicted using follow-up visit datasets from T<sub>1</sub> to T<sub>n</sub>. We used three machine learning methods (logistic regression with the least absolute shrinkage and selection operation, random forest, and extreme gradient boosting algorithms) with three-fold cross-validation. Results: The random forest model using the T<sub>1</sub> EMR dataset best predicted the radiographic progression P<sub>2</sub> among the machine learning models tested with a mean accuracy and area under the curves of 73.73% and 0.79, respectively. Among the T<sub>1</sub> variables, the most important variables for predicting radiographic progression were in the order of total mSASSS, age, and alkaline phosphatase. Conclusion: Prognosis predictive models using time-series data showed reasonable performance with clinical features of the first visit dataset when predicting radiographic progression.

        Artificial intelligence (AI) in radiology is a rapidly developing field with several prospective clinical studies demonstrating its benefits in clinical practice. In 2022, the Korean Society of Radiology held a forum to discuss the challenges and drawbacks in AI development and implementation. Various barriers hinder the successful application and widespread adoption of AI in radiology, such as limited annotated data, data privacy and security, data heterogeneity, imbalanced data, model interpretability, overfitting, and integration with clinical workflows. In this review, some of the various possible solutions to these challenges are presented and discussed; these include training with longitudinal and multimodal datasets, dense training with multitask learning and multimodal learning, self-supervised contrastive learning, various image modifications and syntheses using generative models, explainable AI, causal learning, federated learning with large data models, and digital twins.

        대학 플립드러닝의 실제에 관한 연구: A 대학 사례를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to describe the practice of flipped learning in universities. For this, in-depth interviews were conducted with the five instructors who had experiences of flipped learning in A university in the central region of Korea, which were accompanied by the analyses of the syllabi, the pre class video, and the instructional portfolios. As a result, the design of the whole class, the nature, development, and utilization of the pre-class video, and the activities during the class have been implemented in various different ways. Nevertheless, all of the interviewees acknowledged that the flipped learning strategy had been effective. The researchers analyzed that the basis of this effect was their educational enthusiasm, the efforts to improve their own classes, and the support of the university to support them. 본 연구는 대학에서 이루어지고 있는 플립드러닝의 실제적 다양성을 기술(記述)하려는 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 중부권에 위치한 A 대학에서 플립드러닝 수업 경험이 있는 다섯 명의 교수자를 대상으로 심층면담을 진행하였고, ‘플립드러닝 효과에 대한 인식’, ‘참여 동기 및 계기’, ‘플립드러닝 수업 설계, 개발, 운영’의 분석 유목을 도출하였다. 분석한 결과, 전체 수업의 설계, 사전 동영상의 성격과 개발/활용, 수업 중 활동 등이 매우 다양한 방식으로 구현되고 있었다. 수업은 대략 토론활동 중심, 소그룹 협력활동 중심, 프로젝트 중심 수업으로 운영되고 있었다. 이러한 다양한 방식으로 운영됨에도 면담에 참여한 교수자들은 모두 플립드러닝 전략이 효과가 있었다고 인식하였다. 연구자들은 이러한 효과의 기저에는 교수자가 지니고 있었던 수업에 대한 열정, 수업 개선을 위한 노력, 그리고 이를 지원하기 위한 대학 당국의 노력과 지원 등이 주효하였다고 분석하였다.

        Influence of halogen substitutions on rates of charge tunneling across SAM-based large-area junctions

        <P>This paper examines the ability of structural modifications using halogen atoms (F, Cl, Br, and I) to influence tunneling rates across self-assembled monolayer (SAM)-based junctions having the structure Ag<SUP>TS</SUP>/S(CH<SUB>2</SUB>)<SUB><I>n</I></SUB>(<I>p</I>-C<SUB>6</SUB>H<SUB>4</SUB>X)//Ga<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>/EGaIn, where S(CH<SUB>2</SUB>)<SUB><I>n</I></SUB>(<I>p</I>-C<SUB>6</SUB>H<SUB>4</SUB>X) is a SAM of benzenethiol (<I>n</I> = 0) or benzyl mercaptan (<I>n</I> = 1) terminated in a hydrogen (X = H) or a halogen (X = F, Cl, Br, or I) at the <I>para</I>-position. The measured tunneling current densities (<I>J</I>(<I>V</I>); A cm<SUP>−2</SUP>) indicate that replacing a terminal hydrogen with a halogen atom at the X//Ga<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> interface leads to a decrease in <I>J</I>(<I>V</I>) by ∼×13 for S(<I>p</I>-C<SUB>6</SUB>H<SUB>4</SUB>X) and by ∼×50 for SCH<SUB>2</SUB>(<I>p</I>-C<SUB>6</SUB>H<SUB>4</SUB>X). Values of <I>J</I>(<I>V</I>) for the series of halogenated SAMs were indistinguishable, indicating that changes in dipole moment and polarizability caused by introducing different halogen atoms at the interface between the SAM and the Ga<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>/EGaIn electrode do not significantly influence the rates of charge tunneling across the junctions.</P> <P>Graphic Abstract</P><P>The role of halogenation in charge transport across molecular junctions was investigated. <IMG SRC='http://pubs.rsc.org/services/images/RSCpubs.ePlatform.Service.FreeContent.ImageService.svc/ImageService/image/GA?id=c5cp00145e'> </P>
