서울시 청년 1인 가구 주거 문제 분석

        조하은(Haeun Jo),김의준(Euijune Kim) 한국지역학회 2018 지역연구 Vol.34 No.1

The purpose of the study is to analyze the housing problems of single-person household in 20-35 age group. Using the survey of Household’s Consumption in 2014, we estimated the housing demand function of young single-person household in Seoul. As a result, the coefficient of the permanent income for young single-person household housing was significantly lower than other groups and the housing demand was also lower than others. Since current income isn’t come up to permanent income enough, the housing consumption of young single-person household shrinks. It implies the role of the housing financial market is less activated. That is, the difficulty of realization of permanent income and lack of housing finance are the main cause of the imbalance of housing demand of one young person. Therefore, it implies that in order to alleviate the housing problem of the young single-person household, a policy to balance the permanent income with the housing demand is needed.

      • 저 연령대 1인 가구 주택 소비 불균형 문제에 관한 연구

        조하은(Haeun, Jo),김의준(Euijune, Kim) 한국지역개발학회 2017 한국지역개발학회 세미나 논문집 Vol.2017 No.1

The purpose of the study is to analyze the housing problems of one-person household of 25-35 age group. Using the survey of Household s Consumption in 2014, we estimated the housing demand function of young one-person household in Seoul. As a result, Income elasticity of the group was significantly lower than other groups and the housing demand was also lower than others. it implies that the housing consumption of young one person household weakly reflect long-term income, and inefficient income distribution throughout whole life leads to low utility of consumers. Therefore, the new housing market policies focusing on young one-person household are needed.

        Lee Haeun,Lee Dong-Geol,Jo HyungWoo,Heo Young Mok,Baek Chaeyun,Kim Hye-Been,COSMAX BTI,Kang Seunghyun,Lee Wooseok,Mun Seyoung,Han Kyudong 한국유전학회 2024 Genes & Genomics Vol.46 No.4

Background The skin microbiome is essential in guarding against harmful pathogens and responding to environmental changes by generating substances useful in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. Among these microorganisms, Streptococcus is a bacterial species identified in various isolation sources. In 2021, a strain of Streptococcus infantis, CX-4, was identified from facial skin and found to be linked to skin structure and elasticity. As the skin-derived strain differs from other S. infantis strains, which are usually of oral origin, it emphasizes the significance of bacterial variation by the environment. Objective This study aims to explore the unique characteristics of the CX-4 compared to seven oral-derived Streptococcus strains based on the Whole-Genome Sequencing data, focusing on its potential role in skin health and its possible application in cosmetic strategies. Methods The genome of the CX-4 strain was constructed using PacBio Sequencing, with the assembly performed using the SMRT protocol. Comparative whole-genome analysis was then performed with seven closely related strains, utilizing web-based tools like PATRIC, OrthoVenn3, and EggNOG-mapper, for various analyses, including protein association analysis using STRING. Results Our analysis unveiled a substantial number of Clusters of Orthologous Groups in diverse functional categories in CX-4, among which sphingosine kinase (SphK) emerged as a unique product, exclusively present in the CX-4 strain. SphK is a critical enzyme in the sphingolipid metabolic pathway, generating sphingosine-1-phosphate. The study also brought potential associations with isoprene formation and retinoic acid synthesis, the latter being a metabolite of vitamin A, renowned for its crucial function in promoting skin cell growth, differentiation, and maintaining of skin barrier integrity. These findings collectively suggest the potential of the CX-4 strain in enhancing of skin barrier functionality. Conclusion Our research underscores the potential of the skin-derived S. infantis CX-4 strain by revealing unique bacterial compounds and their potential roles on human skin. Comparative analysis of human facial skin microbiome between topical sites compared to entire face

        Lee Haeun,Jeong Jinuk,Oh Yunseok,Lee Cherl-Jun,Mun Seyoung,Lee Dong-Geol,Jo HyungWoo,Heo Young Mok,Baek Chaeyun,Heo Chan Yeong,Kang So Min,한규동 한국유전학회 2021 Genes & Genomics Vol.43 No.12

Background Skin is an essential outer barrier and supports the growth of commensal microorganisms that protects a host from the ofense of foreign toxic organisms. With the rapid development of next-generation sequencing (NGS)-based applications, skin microbiome research for facial health care has reached industry growth, such as therapy and cosmetic product development. Despite the acceleration of skin microbiome research, experimental standardization protocol has not yet been established in the facial site and method of sampling. Objective Thus, we aimed to investigate the diferences in microbial composition at each facial site (cheek, mouth, forehead, and entire face) using comprehensive microbiome analysis. Methods Twelve specimens from three men (four specimens per one person) were collected. The hypervariable regions (V3–V4) of the bacterial 16S rRNA gene were targeted for 16S amplicon library construction and classifcation of bacterial taxonomy. Skin microbial composition for all specimens was investigated, and the diferences site-by-site in skin microbial composition were analyzed and evaluated by the various statistical tests. Results We were able to validate the independent correlation between the skin microbiome composition and the facial sites. The cheek site showed the highest alpha-diversity in richness and evenness scores compared to the forehead and mouth. The cheek and mouth sites showed a positive correlation (R2 value>0.93) with the entire face, while the forehead sites were negatively correlated (R2 value<0.2). Given the relative abundance based on statistical correlation analysis, we estimated that the cheek site could be considered an optimal topical site to replace the entire face. Conclusion Our study suggests that skin microbiome profling of four facial sites confrms that the cheek shows the most similar skin fora with the entire face. This study would be informative for preventing bias caused by sampling methods before researching and understanding skin cosmetics development or skin diseases.

      • Enhanced stability and controlled release of curcumin using emulsion-filled gels stabilized by octenyl succinylated maize starch

        Myeongsu Jo,Haeun Kim,Young Jin Choi 한국식품영양과학회 2021 한국식품영양과학회 학술대회발표집 Vol.2021 No.10

To enhance the stability and control the release, curcumin was loaded in emulsion-filled gels stabilized by octenyl succinylated maize starch (OS-MS) in the absence of additional emulsifier or gelling agent. The effect of the OS-MS concentrations on the rheological and microstructural properties of the emulsion-filled gels was evaluated (canola oil volume fraction, Φ = 0.20). Confocal fluorescence images showed that OS-MS stabilized the emulsion, indicated by the formation of a thick layer surrounding the oil droplets, and simultaneously gelled the aqueous phase. The emulsions-filled gels with > 4% w/v OS-MS were categorized as Herschel-Bulkley fluids. The emulsion-filled gels (> 4% w/v OS-MS) and encapsulated curcumin were stable for 30 days under ambient conditions. The release of curcumin from the emulsion-filled gels were patterned in in vitro gastrointestinal tests. As the gel became harder with more OS-MS, the release of curcumin from the emulsion-filled gels was significantly delayed within gastrointestinal fluids. This study may help to guide the direction for proper designs of effective oral delivery systems for curcumin using starch-based emulsion-filled gels.

Effects of Repeated Ovarian Stimulation on Ovarian Function and Aging in Mice

        Jihye Whang,Cheyoung Ahn,Soohyun Kim,Eunji Seok,Yunjeong Yang,Goeun Han,Haeun Jo,양현원 한국발생생물학회 2021 발생과 생식 Vol.25 No.4

Controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) is routinely used in the in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET) cycles to increase the number of retrieved mature oocytes. However, the relationship between repeated COH and ovarian function is still controversial. Therefore, we investigated whether repeated ovarian stimulation affects ovarian aging and function, including follicular development, autophagy, and apoptosis in follicles. Ovarian hyperstimulation in mice was induced by intraperitoneal injection with pregnant mare serum gonadotropin (PMSG) and human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). Mice subjected to ovarian stimulation once were used as a control group and 10 times as an experimental group. Repeated injections with PMSG and hCG significantly reduced the number of primary follicles compared to a single injection. The number of secondary and antral follicles increased slightly, while the number of corpus luteum increased significantly with repeated injections. On the other hand, repeated injections did not affect apoptosis in follicles associated with follicular atresia. The expression of autophagy-related genes Atg5, Atg12, LC3B, and Beclin1, cell proliferation-related genes mTOR, apoptosis-related genes Fas, and FasL was not significantly different between the two groups. In addition, the expression of the agingrelated genes Dnmt1, Dnmt3a, and AMH were also not significantly different. In this study, we demonstrated that repeated ovarian stimulation in mice affects follicular development, but not autophagy, apoptosis, aging in ovary. These results suggest that repetition of COH in the IVF-ET cycle may not result in ovarian aging, such as a decrease in ovarian reserve in adult women.
