        One of the most significant issues in combinatorial optimization is the classical NP-complete conundrum known as the 0/1 Knapsack Problem. This study delves deeply into the investigation of practical solutions, emphasizing two classic algorithmic paradigms, brute force, and dynamic programming, along with the metaheuristic and nature-inspired family algorithm known as the Genetic Algorithm (GA). The research begins with a thorough analysis of the dynamic programming technique, utilizing its ability to handle overlapping subproblems and an ideal substructure. We evaluate the benefits of dynamic programming in the context of the 0/1 Knapsack Problem by carefully dissecting its nuances in contrast to GA. Simultaneously, the study examines the brute force algorithm, a simple yet comprehensive method compared to Branch & Bound. This strategy entails investigating every potential combination, offering a starting point for comparison with more advanced techniques. The paper explores the computational complexity of the brute force approach, highlighting its limitations and usefulness in resolving the 0/1 Knapsack Problem in contrast to the set above of algorithms.

        The Role of Job Satisfaction in Developing Administrative Performance and Creativity

        This study deals with the role of job satisfaction in developing administrative performance. The analysis was applied at Tikrit University. The study aimed to determine the role of job satisfaction in developing administrative creativity among employees. A sample of 77 heads of scientific departments in the university was randomly surveyed. A 32-question survey was assigned to the sample individuals. The response rate was 90%. SPSS software was used to statistically analyze surveyed data. The results showed the validity of the hypotheses that job satisfaction causes a positive influence on the development of creativity of employees. The statistical analyses of data obtained proved positive morale among individuals’ creativity in work at the university. The means and standard deviations revealed the surveyed respondents’ tendency to accept the job satisfaction dimensions such as career growth, motivation, work environment, and functional tasks. The means and standard deviations revealed the surveyed respondents’ tendency to accept the administrative creativity dimensions such as problem solving, changeability, accept risks, and encourage creativity. Based on the statistical outcomes, the present study recommended rewarding the employees based on their achievements. Also, the university administration should consider and solve the university employees’ problems.

        COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test: Role in Screening Prior to Gastrointestinal Endoscopy

        Background/Aims: The severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 pandemic has affected the gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopyunits globally owing to the risk of transmission. We present our data on the use of rapid antigen test (RAT) as a screening tool priorto endoscopy to prevent the transmission of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Methods: This study was a retrospective analysis of patients who underwent any GI endoscopic procedure from July 2020 to October2020 at a tertiary referral center in New Delhi, India. All patients underwent screening for COVID-19 using RAT, and endoscopywas performed only when the RAT was negative. The data are presented as numbers and percentages. Results: A total of 3,002 endoscopic procedures were performed during the study period. Only one endoscopic procedure wasperformed in a COVID-19 positive patient. A total of 53 healthcare workers were involved in conducting these procedures. Only2 healthcare workers (3.8%) were diagnosed COVID-19 positive, presumably due to community-acquired infection, during thisperiod. Conclusions: The COVID-19 RAT is easily usable as a simple screening tool prior to GI endoscopy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

        Credit Impact on Firm Profitability in Iraqi, Jordanian, and Kuwaiti Stock Markets

        In this paper, the relationship between the profitability level of an enterprise and the credit policy adopted by an enterprise was measured. A sample of industrial firms listed on the stock exchanges of Iraq, Jordan, and Kuwait was analyzed. Five industrial firms were randomly selected from each exchange with a condition of having at least 5 year-activity. The total sample size was 15 industrial firms. The study financial data was imported from the sample firms' websites. The financial data was for the financial year 2017. The Regression Analysis was adopted to measure the impact of trade credit on the profitability of an enterprise using the SPSS software. It was found that the receivable accounts have a proportional relationship with the turnover property rights rate. Similarly, the statistical results showed that the turnover property rights rate increased with an increase in the turnover receivable accounts rate and the percentage of investment in receivable accounts. The influence of trade credit on the enterprise profitability percentage in the Iraq stock exchange, Amman stock exchange, and Boursa Kuwait were 0.938, 0.200, and 0.089, respectively. The results showed that the three secondary assumptions were incorrect, while the zeroth assumption, i.e., trade credit has no influence on profitability, was correct.

        Results of Single-Staged Posterior Decompression and Circumferential Fusion Using a Transpedicular Approach to Correct a Kyphotic Deformity due to Thoracolumbar Spinal Tuberculosis

        Study Design: This is a prospective study. Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the results of single-staged posterior decompression and circumferential fusion using a transpedicular approach to correct a kyphotic deformity due to thoracolumbar spinal tuberculosis. Overview of Literature: Surgical management is frequently an imperative choice to achieve spinal decompression and deformity correction due to tuberculosis to relieve pain, improve neurology, and reconstruct the spine stability. Since the time anterior radical debridement and noninstrumented fusion was described, it has become apparent that even anterior debridement and bone grafting was often unsatisfactory in correcting or preventing the progression of kyphosis deformity. With the advent of modern segmental spinal instrumentation systems, isolated posterior instrumentation; combined anterior and posterior fusion; and single-staged posterior decompression and circumferential fusion have been described by many authors for correcting angular deformity and stabilizing the spine; however, there is a lack of consensus regarding the most effective means of correcting the deformity due to thoracolumbar spinal tuberculosis. Methods: This is a prospective study of 20 patients with thoracolumbar spinal tuberculosis who underwent surgery at our institute. Results: Twenty patients who were started on antituberculosis treatment underwent surgery using a single-staged posterior approach involving fixation, decompression, and kyphosis correction. Preoperatively, all patients had varying degrees of neurological deficit and a 27.45° average kyphotic angle, which improved. At the 1-year follow-up, correction was maintained at 6.9°, and 55% of patients showed neurological improvement. None of the patients experienced neurological deterioration. Two patients with lumbar spine tuberculosis underwent revision surgery because of nonunion. Conclusions: The procedure of posterior decompression, fixation, and circumferential fusion using a transpedicular approach performed for thoracolumbar spinal tuberculosis is effective, safe, and excellent in correcting and maintaining kyphosis.

        Payment systems are evolving, and this study examines how blockchain and AI improve online transactional security and service quality. The study examines micro and macro payment systems, compares online, and offline methods all over the world. The study also examines how blockchain and AI affect payment system security, privacy, and efficiency globally and rapidly digitizing economy. Digital payment methods are growing all over the world with high literacy and digital engagement, but they face challenges. The research highlights cybersecurity threats and the need to balance user convenience and security. It suggests blockchain and AI improve online payment services, supporting the policies for different countries. In this extensive research survey, we compare and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of various payment systems, their practicality, and their robustness. This study also examines how technological innovations and payment systems interact to reveal how blockchain and AI could transform the financial sector. It seeks to understand how technology-enhancing service quality can boost customer satisfaction and financial stability in the digital age. The findings should help policymakers, financial institutions, and technology developers optimize online payment systems for a more secure and efficient digital economy.

        Experimental Observation of Hydrogen in a Mixed State of Order-disorder and Displacive Behavior in Squaric Acid

        H2C4O4 (Squaric acid, henceforth abbreviated by SQA) is one of the most studied hydrogenbonded anti-ferroelectrics in the KH2PO4 (KDP) family. Here, we report the static hydrogen lineshape which shows a mixed state behavior of order-disorder and a displacive feature in the antiferroelctric (AFE)/paraelectric (PE) phase transition of SQA. We obtained the dipolar splitting data from the nonlinear fitting curve of the static hydrogen lineshape. The calculated proton-proton distance showed an increase at temperatures above the transition temperature Tc. As temperature increases through Tc, the inter-atomic distance shows a peculiar S-shape variation. This S-shape variation around Tc is also observed in other NMR reports for SQA, where the chemical shift variation is used to characterize the deformation of the C4O4 squarate group. Here, we used the dipolar interaction, instead of the chemical shift information, to detect the geometrical change of the hydrogen. Below the transition temperature Tc, the proton interactions showed long-range order whereas it showed short range order at temperatures above Tc. The peculiar S-shape variation from the hydrogen lineshape analysis can be understood as another piece of experimental evidence for a mixed state for the phase transition in SQA.
