        The purpose of this study is to analyze the situation of energy consumption and its characteristics in detached houses. The survey is carried out in detached houses to investigate the energy consumption and energy use trend in according to three different climate zones. Building energy simulation by DOE-2 computer program was undertaken for detailed analysis of the energy use characteristic in detached houses. Also, The room temperature and the energy use of the year were also calculated. Finally, The energy consumption characteristics of heating, cooling, cooking and electric equipments in detached houses depends on life style of resident such as room temperature, occupancy type and equipment operating schedule and etc. And also, the results of this study will be to provide basic data concerned with total energy consumption in detached houses.

        신경망과 퍼지 알고리즘을 이용한 유출수문곡선 예측

        To develop the forecasting model on hydrologic rainfall-runoff process, this fuzzy theory is applied in this study, that is the mathematical theory to process ambiguity and the neural network theory, that is applied human's empirical thinking to mathematical process. As the result of applying neural network theory, the model of linear-linear, linear-nonlinear in the transfer function and the model applying fuzzy theory showed the excellent expectation that a coefficient of determination is over 0.97, percent error of maximum flow is less 10%. This result showed that neural network and fuzzy theory have excellent applicability in the flood forecasting. And this study expect that neural network and fuzzy theory can be used as the approach to settle problems being occurred in the course of rainfall-runoff modeling.

      • 다층 페셉트론을 이용한 단기 급수량 예측

        This study investigates the prediction of daily supply, which is a necessary for the efficient management of water distribution system. The purpose of this study is to establish a method of estimating the daily urban water demand using Back propagation algorithm is part of ANN(Artificial Neural Network). The datum used were the daily urban water demand, the population and weather conditions such as temperature, precipitation, relative humidity, etc. Kwangju city was selected for the case study area. We normalized the non-stationary time series data [-1, +1] to fast converge, and choose the input patterns by statistical methods. We separated the training and checking patterns from input data patterns. We discussed the representation ability the model building process and the applicability of ANN approach for the daily water demand. ANN provided the reasonable results for time series forecasting.

      • 大都市의 上水道管網 解析에 관한 硏究

        급배수시설은 생산된 상수를 안정적으로 공급하는 시설로서 국민생활과 경제활동에 기본이 되는 중요한 사회 간접시설 중의 하나이다. 그러나 우리나라의 대도시들은 급속한 도시성장과 산업발달 등의 수요증대 요인으로 인하여 시설확장을 계속해 왔음에도 불구하고 급배수시설에 대한 과학적인 분석이나 개선방향에 대한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 대상지역으로 선정된 광주광역시의 주요 송 배수관망에 대한 관망해석을 실시하여 관로의 수리상태를 파악하고 문제점을 제시하여 안정급수를 도모하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 광주광역시의 급배수지와 300mm이상의 주요 송배수관을 대상으로 주간 최대급수량과 야간 최소급수량으로 구분하여 관망해석을 실시한 결과 급수불량지역으로 판명된 지점은 급수관에서 분기되는 급수소관에서 발생하는 것으로 판명되었다. 현재 광주광역시의 누수율은 약 16%에 이르고 있는 것으로 추정되는데, 관망해석 결과에 의하면 현재광주광역시에서 운용하고 있는 급배수 관망에서 야간시에 대체적으로 허용치 이상의 높은 수압이 발생하고 있는 실정이며, 몇몇 지역의 수압은 누수방지를 위한 최대수압을 초과하고 있으므로 이 지역에 상당량의 누수가 있을 것으로 판단된다. Water supply system in modern society is one of the most important urban infrastructures as a life line suppling necessary amount of treated water to meet living standard and proper operations of city organizations and urban facilities according to social development and economic growth. The purpose of this study is to analyze the water supply and distribution systems in large cities in Korea and to suggest the enhanced maintenance and the management methods of those facilities. The data used for this study were obtained from the city of Kwangju in Korea. The population of Kwangju in the end of November 1995 was about one million thirty thousand. The average daily water use of the city of Kwangju in 1995 was about four hundred seventy thousand tons a day. The area of high elevation has lack of water because the low pressure prevails in the distribution pipes due to the high elevation. In order to secure the stabilized water supply to those area, the distribution reservoirs are required. Leakage may has been occurred out of pipe junctions, segments of worn pipes, etc. In order to reduce the water leakage, the replacement of worn pipe is strongly recommended.

      • 정수처리용 응집제 주입율 및 경제성에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to compare the characteristics of coagulant LAS (Liquid Aluminum Sulfate) with PAC (Poly Aluminum Chloride) and to determine their injection rate for the water treatment. LAS have been used as a coagulant for the water treatment in the city of Kwangju. PAC is considered as an alternation of LAS. The injection rate of the coagulant in water treatment is one of main factors affecting the whole water treatment process. The injection rate have been adjusted based on the jar test results obtained daily. There are a number of factors affecting the flocculation such as turbidity, pH, temperature, alkalinity. If we relate somehow these factors as well as jar test results, more scientific and theoretical approach for adjusting the injection rate of coagulant is possible. Therefore, two flocculants, LAS and PAC, were examined in this study in water drawn from the Ju-am dam. The comparison between LAS and PAC was accomplished with the Jar-Test results and other factors involved in coagulation and settling such as pH, turbidity, water temperature, and alkalinity. The data were gathered and subjected to multivariate regression analysis. Analysis of the subordinate and independent correlation variables were conducted to determine which factor in the model supported the best correlation. As a results of analysis, it was found that PAC is more suitable than LAS and that the statistical formula for the injection rate was found to be suitable for practical application in real water purification plants

        HEC-5와 신경망을 이용한 댐운영의 최적화

        This study. which chose Sum-Jin river dam and Ju-Amdam of Sum-Jin river water system for objection region, forecasted inflow of dam to manage a multipurpose dam during flood period, using neural network model, executed HEC-5 to be inputted the foresaw and measured inflow data and investigated the result data. HEC-5 is dam imitative operating program. When no damaging channel capacity was 100% or 70%, this study investigated the flood control storage probability so that we understand concerning with no damaging channel capacity and the flood control storage capacity of reservoir. As a result that forecasted dam inflow through neural network model, we got excellent forecasting outcome that the coefficient of determination is over 0.9. and find to be able to apply HEC-5 because. as a result that £ was applied to HCE-5 forecasting outcome and surveyed inflow data. the forecasting outcome were more superior managing result than real outflow one at the phases of peak flow control rate, reservoir outflow rate, and reswyoir storage rate. finally this study investigated abut application of HEC5 model at the best suited dam management and regulation of no damaging channel capacity. as deciding the best suited outflow by adjusting no damaging channel capacity.

      • 호우에 따른 하천 유출량 예측

        하천유역에서 유출량을 예측하기 위해서는 강우-유출과정을 잘 모형화해야 하는데 모형화는 유역에서 발생하는 많은 물리적인 현상을 수학적으로 표현할 수 있어야 하고 또한 모형의 매개변수 추정방법이 잘 정의되어 있어야 한다. 그러나 강우-유출과정의 모형화는 수문자료의 비선형성, 비정규성 및 시공간적 다양성 등 여러 가지 요인에 의해서 많은 오차를 내포하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 신경망모형에 유전자 알고리즘을 결합한 결합모형에 의한 하천 실시간 하천 유출량을 예측하였다. 본 연구의 목표지점은 섬진강 수계의 한 지류인 요천에 있는 남원 수위표지점을 선정하였다. 본 연구에 사용한 자료는 강우자료 및 유출량 자료이다. 하천 유출량 예측을 위한 모형을 구성하기 위해 먼저 강우량 자료는 지점강우량을 면적평균강우량으로 환산하였다. 그리고 면적평균강우량 및 각 유출량의 자기상관함수 및 교차상관함수를 구해 모형을 구성하여, 하천유출량을 예측하였으며 이를 실측 유출량과 통계적으로 비교 분석하였다.
