        조정 훈련에 있어서 기존의 훈련 방법은 숙련된 지도자의 방식을 따르는 방법을 택하여 왔고 이로 인해 지도자의 경험에 의존하는 부분이 높다는 단점이 있었다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 아두이노 보드 및 가속도 센서, 블루투스 모듈을 이용하여 조정 보트의 움직임을 측정하고 이를 활용하여 시간 대비 최고 효율의 운동량을 측정해 조정 배의 움직임을 파악, 기록, 분석하여 이의 결과를 활용 적절한 훈련방법을 선택할 수 있도록 하는 방법을 제안한다.

        Autonomous Drone Path Planning for Environment Sensing

        Recent research in animal behavior has shown that gradient information plays an important role in finding food and home. It is also important in optimization of performance because it indicates how the inputs should be adjusted for maximization/minimization of a performance index. We introduce perturbation as an additional input to obtain gradient information. Unlike the typical approach of calculating the gradient from the derivative, the proposed processing is very robust to noise since it is performed as a summation. Experimental results prove the validity of the process of spatial gradient acquisition. Quantitative indices for measuring the effect of the amplitude and the frequency are developed based on linear regression analysis. Drones are very useful for environmental monitoring and an autonomous path planning is required for unstructured environment. Guiding the drone for finding the origin of the interested physical property is done by estimating the gradient of the sensed value and generating the drone trajectories in the direction which maximizes the sensed value. Simulation results show that the proposed method can be successfully applied to identify the source of the physical quantity of interest by utilizing it for path planning of an autonomous drone in 3D environment.

        The rise of a new tourism destination: How did Vladivostok become the closest Europe for Korean tourists?

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the emergence of Vladivostok, Russia, as a new tourism destination for Koreans from the perspective of a social construction of space. This study analyzed the process using two axes, one representing the discourse of development as a pull factor and the other representing the discourse of a region as a push factor. Vladivostok established a physical and institutional foundation to evolve into a new destination through investments by the Russian Far East development project beginning in the mid-2000s. Also pivotal were two bilateral agreements between Korea and Russia: the Open Skies Agreement (2012) and the Visa Waiver Agreement (2014). Vladivostok, with these practices, was advertised as a tourism destination through Korean travel agencies that realized the area’s potential after those changes. The promoted image of Vladivostok as “the closest European city to Korea” was reinforced socially through frequent exposure on reality television programs. By satisfying the expectations of tourists seeking new and unique places to visit, Vladivostok became a popular destination. This is how a place that was once perceived negatively develops a new image through changes in policy, institutional practices, and a revised sociocultural gaze, thereby revealing that the destination is socially constructed.

        Adsorption Behavior of Gold Nanoparticles on Amino-terminated Micro Domains Fabricated on Quartz Substrate by Vacuum Ultra-violet Photolithography

        Immobilization of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) onto quartz is of considerable interest in optoelec- tronic applications. In this paper, we demonstrated a linear arrangement of AuNPs by controlling the function and optical properties at the microstructure of a quartz surface through formation of a 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APS) self-assembled monolayer and the subsequent vacuum ultra- violet lithography. Citrate-capped AuNPs have been arranged on an APS-terminated surface by electrostatic attraction and in a VUV irradiated area by electrostatic repulsion. In addition, the density of AuNPs on along the boundary of the linear feature was higher than that in the center during the initial stage of immersion. The density of AuNPs along the linear feature became uniform over the entire surface with increasing immobilization time. These results induced the electrostatic interaction of negatively charged AuNPs on the interface between differently charged surfaces.

        Weight Loss for Obstructive Sleep Apnea: Pharmacological and Surgical Management

        Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a relatively common sleep disorder characterized by repetitive narrowing or obstruction of the upper airway, including the nasal cavity, pharynx, and larynx, during sleep. OSA can cause a variety of symptoms and/or complications, such as excessive daytime sleepiness, reduced concentration, hypertension, type II diabetes, and stroke. Accordingly, an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatments are required for OSA. Obesity is an important risk factor for OSA and is characterized by the abnormal accumulation of fat in the body, including the upper airway. When the body weight increases, adipose tissue accumulates in the pharynx, which can narrow the diameter of the upper airway and lead to dysfunction of the pharynx dilator muscles. These changes caused by weight gain can cause or exacerbate OSA. Various therapeutic options exist for patients with overweight or obesity, including diet, behavioral modifications, exercise, pharmacological treatments, and surgical procedures. Of these, diet, behavioral modifications, and exercise constitute the first-line management for obesity. However, their results are relatively unsatisfactory, and pharmacotherapy and bariatric surgery are generally implemented in obese patients with OSA. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to review pharmacological and surgical management strategies for obesity that are currently commonly used in overweight or obese adult patients with OSA.

        무엇이 정당의 공약을 결정하는가?: 제19대와 제20대 총선 정치공약을 중심으로

        본 연구는 제19대와 제20대 총선 시기에 정당들의 공약을 비교하여 각 정당별로 어떤 정책을 공약의 의제로 설정하였는지, 혹은 의제설정에서 제외하였는지를 도출하고, 이러한 선택의 결과들 이면에 작용하는 의도를 분석하였다. 새누리당과 더민주당은 정당의 이해에 근거하여 정책의제들을 취사선택하는 경향이 나타났다. 새누리당은 국회선진화법에 대한 공약 내용이 바뀌었고, 제20대 총선에서 교육감 선거 폐지를 제시하였다. 더민주당은 제19대 총선 자료집에서는 정치자금 개혁과 관련하여 정당의 회계감사를 의무화하는 공약이 있었으나 제20대 총선 자료집에서는 그 내용이 없어졌다. 이러한 점들을 고려할때, 정당들이 여러 정책의제들에 대해 취사선택하여 총선 공약으로 정하는 과정은 국민의 이해와 요구보다는 정당의 입장을 우선적으로 고려하고 있다는 점을 확인할 수 있었다. 유권자인 국민은 경쟁하는 정당들 사이에서 국민 자신에게 가장 유리한 정책을 제시한 정당을 선택함으로서 정당들이 국민의 이해와 요구에 더욱 집중하도록 하는 전략을 사용해야 할 것이다 This study shines light on the mechanism through which political parties include an agenda or exclude another agenda from their own election manifestos, comparing between the 19th and the 20th general election’s parties platforms. The two major parties in Korea have changed platform agendas and its contents according to their own interest instead of the general voters’ interest. The first party, Saenuri party, changed the content of the Congress Process ACT aversely, the party proposed and insisted filibustering in the 19th platform, but in the 20th, the party deleted the filibustering. The second party, Minjoo party also deleted the mandatory party budget investigation from the 20th party platform, which was proposed by the party in the 19th platform. As a result, Korean major parties showed preferring their own interest to general voters when they designated their party platform. In such situation, voters are recommended to use the strategy to boost the competition among parties over policy agenda and contents which are closer to the voter’s interest.

        지방정치 공천권력의 변화

        본 연구는 정당의 내적 구조가 시민사회의 역량강화와 정당 내 경쟁의 심화라는 요인에 의해 다원적 권력구조로 변화함을 지방정당조직의 공천권력에 대한 질적 연구를 통해 분석하였다. 정당추천이 허용되지 않았던 2002년 이전에 정당추천은 정치적 가치를 갖지 못하여 정당추천을 위한 후보경쟁이 발생하지 않았고, 정당추천은 지역위원장과 후보 사이의 후견주의 관계에 의해 결정되었다. 2006년 정당공천제 도입 이후 정당공천이 당락을 결정짓게 되자 후견주의관계에서 후견인이었던 지역위원장은 독점적 권력자가 되어 공천권력을 지배했다. 그러나 공천을 얻기 위한 당내 후보들의 경쟁이 점차 심화되면서 지역위원장의 일방적 결정은 저항에 직면하는데, 2014년 정당민주화에 대한 시민사회의 요구에 부응하려는 중앙당의 상향식 공천방식의 제도화는 지방정당조직의 공천권력을 공천심사위원회, 후보들, 지역위원장, 그리고 선거인단이 함께 공유하는 다원적 구조로 변화시켰다. This study argues that the power structure of local politics gradually became pluralistic as multiple actors started to share the power to nominate party candidates. The nomination power structure between 1991 and 2002 could be explained as a patron-client model because of the nonpartisan election system and low level competition. As party nomination was legalized since 2006, the local party boss’s nomination power has dramatically increased. Yet, as the party nomination increasingly became a determining factor of local election results, the competition among candidates to be nominated as a party candidate also increased. It deliminted the local party boss’ power. Consequently, Korean political parties had to improve nomination process to obtain trust from the voters. Major parties have institutionalized balance and check system for party nomination processes in the party chapters. As a result, the nomination committee, selectorate, and candidates themselves became significant actors in local party nomination on the 2014, while the local party boss’s power has been gradually decreased.

      • 클러치 슬립제어를 위한 제어 전략 방법에 대한 연구

        This paper presents the slip control strategy of a torque converter clutch to improve fuel consumption. There are four kinds of simple method to control a clutch interface in an automatic transmission vehicles. One of them, the proposed slip control strategy introduces briefly the rule of control scheme. The other method simulates to investigate the fuel consumption of lockup clutch according to enlarge slip operating region. The faster lock up clutch engages in a low operating region and shifting gear, the better the fuel consumption of vehicle improves. Although simulation was carried out not to consider the vehicle dynamic performance and drivability, The result of simulation verify the fuel consumption improvement from each control strategy method.
