Numerical analysis using three dimensional finite volume method for the discretization, adaptive grid method for the numerical accuracy, multiple rotating frame method for the rotating body and the standard $k-{\epsilon}$ model for the turbulent flow was performed to understand the heat transfer phenomena and to improve the efficiency of the scroll compressor. The temperature measurement was carried out under ARI condition. It was found that the fluid temperature in the compressor was predicted accurately while the temperature of the motor coil showed large discrepancy between the calculation and experiment due to the large anisotropy of the conductivity and non homogeneity. We found that the efficiency of the compressor depends on the inlet temperature of the compressing part and the flow pattern around the inlet region of the compressing part influences the inlet temperature due to high surface temperature of the main frame. The efficiency of the compressor using Coanda effect is higher than the previous one because the smooth suction at the inlet region of the compressing part leads to low heat transfer to the refrigerant of the compressor.

The numerical study was carried out to effectively cool Induction motor applied to a washing machine.<br/> The outer rotor made of steel periodically spins up and down. The stator consists of the thin layered iron<br/> plates and copper coil. The effective cooling system is necessary to solve the reliability problem caused by the<br/> electric losses at the coil and the iron plate. Because the heat transfer rate of the natural convection in partially<br/> open space is generally low, thus it is necessary to enhance the heat transfer using rotating perforated plate.<br/> The flow phenomena around the motor are very complex due to the motor geometry and the outer rotor<br/> motion. The mixed convection takes place due to the slow rotation speed. The three dimensional flow<br/> simulation was performed using rotating reference frame technique and Boussinesq approximation but the<br/> radiation effect was neglected. It was found that the angle and direction of the cooling blades play an<br/> important role in the stator temperature.

The main purpose of this study was to examine the effects of interpretive style reading materials on high school students philosophical viewpoints on science. Subjects for this study were 137 girl students in four classes of a high school located in Daejeon city. The classes were divided into two groups: experimental groups and control groups. Students in the experimental groups were administered a series of the reading materials over thirty-six sessions. Additionally, PPP(Philosophical Perspectives Prove) was used in order to assess students philosophical viewpoints on science. Results of the study showed that the interpretive style reading materials takes effect on the change of students philosophical viewpoints on science. At the initial stage, a number of students exhibited viewpoints inclined toward inductivism. As time goes by, however, viewpoint of inductivism was decreased and view of falcificationism and view of relativism were increased. The results also indicated that the effect of intervention was stable.

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of variables such as socio-home environment, social support, and stress in Adolescent. This study was conducted by administering a questionnaire to 530 Adolescents living in Kyeongnam province. The data were analyzed with the SPSS statistical package using cronbach`s α-coefficient, frequency distribution, percentage, pearson’s r-coefficient, and regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows: There were negative correlations between social supports and stress. Furthermore, the higher the family`s economic situation, the greater the degree of social support to the adolescent. When parents have higher expectations for their children`s education the adolescents have better relationships with friends, teachers and their parents and they also have a successful school life. In contrast, when social support was low there was a negative effect on the adolescents lives:their stress level increased. There was less conversation between parents and children. When parents had lower expectations of their children their children had less study time per day. They used computers less often and the children had negative relationships with friends and parents. Social support buffered the related stresses. Finally, adolescent`s stress levels decrease with higher levels of social support.

사찰벽화 심우도(尋牛圖)에 나타난 화엄사상의 현대적 의미

본 연구는 사찰벽화 尋牛圖에 나타난 화엄사상의 현대적 의미를 고찰하여, 급변하는 시대에 무한경쟁과 스트레스로 인한 불안, 우울 등을 경험하는 현대인들에게 삶의 질을 높일 수 있는 해답을 이끌어내는 동시에 곧 다가올 제4차 산업혁명 시대를 살아가는 지혜를 얻고자 하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 尋牛圖는 소를 통하여 자신의 본성을 회복해 가는 과정을 10단계로 표현한 그림이다. 사찰벽화 심우도에 나타난 화엄사상의 현대적 의미를 고찰하면, 다음과 같이 살필 수 있다. 첫째, 심우도에서는 자기 본성을‘소(牛)’에 비유하여 번뇌로 덮인 소를 길들이고 본래의 깨끗한 소로 회복해 가는 과정을 담고 있는데, 여기에서『華嚴經』의 佛性思想을 찾아볼 수 있다. 즉, 모든 사람은 佛性이 있고 佛身이 우주에 두루 충만하다는 것이다. 따라서 심우도에 나타난 불성사상을 통하여 현대인들이 명상과 자아성찰의 시간을 갖는다면 경쟁과 스트레스로 힘든 마음을 치유하고 인성회복의 효과를 기대할 수 있을 것이다. 둘째, 심우도 각 단계별로 화엄의 法界緣起思想인 四法界緣起와 연결시킬 수 있다. 심우도에서 동자가 소를 찾아 나섰다가 다시 소를 타고 근원인 집으로 돌아온 뒤 결국 너와 나가 없이 모두가 하나로 연결되는 구도는 화엄사상의 법계연기의 철학적 구조와 유사하다. 즉, 우주의 모든 사물은 그 어느 하나라도 홀로 일어나는 일이 없이, 끝없는 시간과 공간 속에서 서로가 서로의 원인이 되며, 대립을 초월하여 하나로 융합하고 있다는 것이다. 따라서 이와 같은 가르침은 갈등과 폭력, 개인주의가 팽배한 현 시대에 조화와 화합의 원융무애한 길을 제시할 뿐만 아니라 미래의 초연결 사회에서 회통과 공존의 연기적 관계의 지혜를 발견할 수 있을 것이다. 셋째, 화엄의 普賢行願思想은 심우도의 마지막 단계인 입전수수에서 포대화상이 저자에 나아가 이웃에게 손을 내미는 실천행으로 드러난다. 앞으로 세계인류가 전쟁이나 환경오염 등의 불안에서 벗어나 함께 공존하는 길은 자신의 공덕을 이웃에 돌리고 봉사하는 실천행에서 그 해답의 실마리를 찾을 수 있다. 심우도는 대부분의 한국사찰 벽화에서 만나볼 수 있기 때문에 누구나 쉽게 심우도를 통하여 자기성찰과 치유를 얻고 세상을 살아가는 지혜를 발견하는 기회를 가질 수 있다. 또한 현대인들이 자신의 공덕을 이웃에게 베푸는 삶을 살아간다면 자신의 인성회복은 물론 인류와 환경생태계가 공존하는 연기적 관계 실현에 좋은 영향을 미칠 수 있을 것이라 사료된다. Modern people living in a rapidly changing era are experiencing various social problems such as infinite competition, stress, anxiety, depression, and suicide. In addition, we need to prepare for the future called the 4th Industrial Revolution. In this regard, the Hwaeom thought of Buddhism would be a good example to provide the answer. A place where modern people can easily find opportunities to find themselves is through temples and mural paintings of Simwoodo. One can get good wisdom to prepare for a future society through the meaning and harmony of Simwoodo. It is necessary to look at Shimwoodo and Hwaeom thoughts, Buddha statues, legal acting thoughts, and Bowon Haengsang thoughts. First, the Buddha statue was found in the cow of the cow, who was looking for her own cow. Simwoodo contains the process of taming and recovering a cow (nature) stained with anguish. The practice, based on Buddha-nature ideology, can expect to effect humanities recovery through the healing, meditation and self-reflection of modern people. Second, I linked the picture of the ten stages of Shim Woo-do with the 'Legal Justice Actress', a legal acting ideology. The Hwaeom acting ideology suggests a path of harmony and harmony in the present era of conflict, violence and individualism. We can find the wisdom of equal and smooth human relations without discrimination in the future 'super-connected' society, in which the heavy and heavy acting ideology that everyone is connected to each other without falling into each other. Third, the idea of Bowon Haengwon is revealed as the practice of Bohyeon Haengwon in the final stage of Shim Woo-do. In the future, the way that humanity in the world coexists finds a clue to the answer in Bohyun's practice of sharing his merit with regeneration. Sim Woo-do is a painting that can be easily found in most Korean temple murals. People also have a shift in perception of reflecting on themselves through deepness. It is thought that if we recognize the original 'cow' in our lives and practice Bohyeon's practice, it will have a good influence on not only our recovery of personality and healing, but also the realization of true human relationships.
