        Fluidity of slag cement paste depending on types and replacement ratios of gypsum

        The aim of this research is evaluating the flow behavior of slag cement paste depending on various types of gypsum and theirreplacement ratio. In this research, gypsum was added for the slag cement to induce ettringite formation and thus achieveimproved and stable strength. Although natural anhydrite gypsum is primarily used for this purpose, various other types ofgypsum have been studied as potential additives for slag cement. However, these studies have focused on the reactionmechanisms or hardened properties. Hence, in this research, using workability measurement methods and a rheological testmethod, six-different types of gypsum were evaluated: anhydrite, α, and β hemihydrate, dihydrate, desulfurized gypsums andcombined gypsum of desulfurized and anhydrite gypsums. Experiment results showed that the dissolution rate of differentgypsums can significantly influence the fluidity of the pastes.

        고로슬래그 미분말 다량치환 콘크리트의 탄산화 억제를 위한 기밀성 향상재 부착효과

        The goal of this research was evaluating and suggesting the solution of preventing carbonation of concrete replacedhigh-volume of slag. The concrete mixtures were prepared with high-volume slag and recycled aggregate, and theconcrete samples were evaluated the carbonation depth with various surface treatment methods. For various surfacetreatment methods and surface protecting sheets, bonding strength and carbonation depth were measured. Basically,from the results, the carbonation of concrete was completely prevented with any type of surface treatment method andsurface protecting sheet as far as the surface treatment materials were remained. Therefore, in this research, it wasknown and suggested that the easiness of handling and sufficient bonding performance was much important than thequality of surface protecting sheets. 친환경 건설 재료의 일환으로 고로슬래그 미분말을 다량치환한 콘크리트에 대해 재생골재를 이용해 잠재수경성 반응을 활성화 시켜 콘크리트로서의 활용방안 모색과 탄산화를 저감시킬 목적으로 다양한 기밀성 향상재를 표면에 부착하여 탄산화 저감효과를 측정하였다. 재생골재의 사용은표면의 모르타르 및 미수화 시멘트로 인해 고로슬래그 미분말을 다량 치환한 콘크리트에 양호한 영향을 미친 것으로판단되었다. 콘크리트 표면의 기밀성 향상재에 따른 탄산화 저감 효과는 기밀성 향상재 종류와 상관없이 콘크리트표면에 효과적으로 부착되어 있는 경우라면 모두 양호한탄산화 저감 성능을 나타내었다. 그러므로 시공이 용이하고 취급이 간편하며 콘크리트 표면에서 장기간 양호한 내구성을 발휘하는 기밀성 향상재로 선시공 1중 에어캡이 가장양호한 방법으로 판단되었으며, 추가적으로 단열성능을 고려하였을 때에는 선시공 2중 에어캡이 효율적인 방법으로생각해 볼 수 있었다.

        신장에 발생한 고립섬유종양

        Solitary fibrous tumors(SFTs) are a rare spindle-cell neoplasm originating from mesenchymal fibroblast-like cells. Although they generally arise from submesothelial connective tissue in the pleura, many other locations have also been described, including the mediastinum, upper respiratory tract, orbit, salivary gland, thyroid, and prostate. SFT of the kidney, however, has rarely been described, and only 1 case has been reported in Korea. A 53-year-old female visited our hospital for abdominal pain, and abdominopelvic computed tomography showed a heterogeneous well-enhanced mass in the renal pelvis. She was treated with a laparoscopic radical nephroureterectomy, which revealed an SFT of the kidney.

        특이적 코어·밸런스 복합 트레이닝이 고등학교 야구선수의 균형관련 변인(동적,정적균형)과 구속 변화에 미치는 효과규명

        연구목적 연구의 목적은 특이적으로 고안된 코어운동과 밸런스운동이 복합된 형태의 운동프로그램을 개발하여, 중, 고등학교 야구선수들을 대상으로 균형 관련 변인과 구속 변화에 관하여 분석하고규명하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 연구방법 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 청소년 야구 선수들을선발하여 4개월간 개발된 운동 프로그램을 적용하여 결과를 얻었다. 결과 정적균형능력의 변화는 운동프로그램 전과 후, 운동집단간의 좌, 우측에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 동적균형능력에대한 집단 간 차이에서도 우측상부, 좌측상부, 우측, 좌측, 하부, 우측하부, 좌측하부 자세에서 통계적유의성을 보였다. 또한 비운동 집단에 비해 운동 참여 집단에서 전체 점수가 유의미하게 향상되는것으로 나타났다. 구속의 변화는 관찰되지 않았다. 결론 특이적으로 고안된 코어 밸런스 복합 트레이닝은 청소년 야구 선수들의 정적 균형 및 동적 균형 능력 향상에 도움이 된다고 할 수 있다 Purpose The purpose of this study is to analyze and identify balance-related variables and velocity changes for youth baseball players by developing a specially designed exercise program that combines core and balance exercises. Methods In order to achieve the purpose of this study, youth baseball players were selected, and the results were found by applying an exercise program developed for 4 months. Result As for the change in static balance ability, there was a statistically significant difference in the left and right sides of the exercise group before and after the exercise program. There was a significant improvement in the right, left, lower, lower right, and lower left postures. Even in the difference between the groups for dynamic balance ability, there was statistical significance in the upper right, upper left, right, left, lower, lower right, and lower left postures. A change appeared. In addition, it was found that the overall score was significantly improved in the exercise participation group compared to the non-exercise group. No change in ball speed was observed.         Use of Recycled Aggregate as Alkali Activator to Enhance Strength Development in High-Volume Blast-Furnace Slag Concrete

        The aim of the research is to achieve the strength development performance of high-volume slag concrete or zero-cement concrete with 0.45 of W/B by incorporating of recycled aggregates as a cost-effective alkali activator. Based on the blast-furnace slag (BFS) based cement, like an alkali activated slag (AAS), recycled aggregates were replaced by natural aggregates and were used as an alkali activator for BFS. For compressive strength improvement in concrete, different replacement ratios of ordinary Portland cement ranged from zero to 50%, recycled fine aggregates (RFA) and recycled coarse aggregates (RCA) ranged from zero to 100% were varied. The test results indicated that recycled aggregates could be used as an alkali activator for BFS, and they were also able to help achieve about 90% of compressive strength of the concrete with natural aggregate depending on its optimum proportion with BFS.

        사출금형의 러너시스템 형상에 따른 균형 충전도

        Aspect of filling imbalance that is originated from imbalanced share rate in runner is changed by material property, runner layout that are factors of changing viscosity and by injection pressure, injection speed, melt temperature and mold temperature that are injection conditions. In this paper, we made a study of runner system that is one of factor of filling imbalance and Sharp Conner Effect and Groove Corner Effect that are recently released. The study are showed that filling rate of between inside and outside cavity was influenced on shape of runner. Also, we suggested runner system for filling imbalance by adapting the two effects at multi cavity of unary branch type and theoretical investigated flow in the Shrap Conner runner type.

        Left Ventricular Enlargement Procedure in a Patient with Diffuse-Type Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy: A Case Report

        Surgical septal myectomy is the preferred treatment option for patients with medically intractable obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Extended transaortic septal myectomy is a widely performed surgical procedure for patients with subaortic obstruction. The transapical approach may provide an alternative surgical option in less common phenotypes, such as apical hypertrophy or long-segmental septal hypertrophy. In this report, we describe a case of a procedure performed to achieve left ventricular enlargement procedure using a combined transaortic and transapical dual approach in a patient with diffuse- type hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with apical aneurysm and mid-cavity obstruction.
