        Impacts of Marketing Capabilities on Competitive Advantage and Business Performance: Application of IPMA

        Purpose: Based on the resource-based view and the competitive advantage theory, the study views marketing capabilities (product, pricing, delivery/inventory, and promotional support) as sources of competitive advantage (differentiation advantage and low-cost advantage) and examines their impacts on competitive advantage, which in turn, will influence non-business and business performance. Research design, data and methodology: Data were collected from 149 representatives of franchising companies in South Korea and analyzed with SmartPLS 3.3.7. Results: First, promotional support and product have a significant impact on differentiation advantage. Second, pricing and promotional support have a significant impact on low-cost advantage. Third, differentiation advantage has an influence on non-financial and financial business performance. Fourth, low-cost advantage has an impact on non-financial performance but has no significant direct impact on financial performance. Fifth, non-financial performance is related to financial performance. Finally, the result of IPMA shows that importance and performance values of exogeneous variables are different depending on firm size. Conclusions: The findings suggest that franchisors should focus on different marketing capabilities depending on their strategic focus and objectives. Finally, the findings based on an IPMA suggest that small companies perceive low-cost advantage as important, while their counterparts do not. Several theoretical and managerial implications are offered.

        외식기업의 정보원천이 신뢰, 구전의도, 그리고 온라인 구전의도에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: In the restaurant sector, it has been known that consumers’ positive perception of brands influences their positive WOM intention, and information sources play an important role in increasing credibility by enhancing consumer awareness and developing differentiated brands. This study examines the effects of information sources (e.g., advertisement, WOM, SNS) on trust (cognitive and affective) and, WOM and eWOM intention in the restaurant context. In the model, cognitive and affective trust play mediating roles in the relationships between information sources (e.g., advertisement, WOM, SNS) WOM and eWOM intention. Research design, data, and methodology: Research models and hypotheses were developed according to the research direction. The survey questionnaire items were developed and used appropriately according to the contents of this paper based on prior studies. All constructs were measured with multiple items developed and validated in prior studies. A total of 502 responses were collected from an online survey. The research model was evaluated using SmartPLS 4.0. Frequency analysis was performed to understand the demographic characteristics of the survey respondents. The reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity were assessed using measurement model analysis. The proposed model was verified using the structural equation model. Results: Advertisement, WOM, and SNS information sources all had a positive effect on affective trust, whereas only WOM had a significant effect on cognitive trust. In addition, affective trust had a positive effect on cognitive trust and eWOM intention but did not affect WOM intention. Finally, cognitive trust was found to have a positive effect on both WOM intention and eWOM intention. Conclusions: This study redefines the concept of where restaurant service companies should focus when providing consumers with information about their products and services. As a result, the conceptual framework of positive word of mouth intention to increase new customer visits to the restaurant brand has been expanded. In addition, this study not only presents an information source management strategy for restaurant brands, but also presents practical implications for resource allocation guidelines for customer management in the restaurant sector.

      • 간호대학생의 전공만족도와 간호전문직관이 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 간호대학생의 전공만족도와 간호전문직관이 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 시행한 서술적 조사연구이다. 일개 대학 간호학과 4학년 123명을 연구대상자로 선정하였으며, 구조화된 설문지를 사용 하여 2022년 10월부터 12월까지 자료수집을 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, 상관관계 T검정, 분산분석 및 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 자료분석결과 전공만족도, 간호전문직관 및 임상수행능력 은 양적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 전공만족도와 간호전문직관은 임상수행능력에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 임상수행능력에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 전공만족도로 나타났으며, 모형의 설명력은 51.9%였다. 연구결과, 간호대학생의 임상수행능력 강화를 위해서는 무엇보다 전공만족도를 높일 수 있는 간호 교육과정 개발을 제언한다. This study is a descriptive research study conducted to find out the effect of nursing students' major satisfaction and nursing professionalism on their clinical performance ability. 123 seniors in the nursing department of a university were selected as study subjects, and data were collected from October to December 2022 using a structured questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlations, t-test, ANOVA and regression using the SPSS 22.0 program. As a result of data analysis, major satisfaction, nursing professionalism, and clinical competency were found to have a quantitative correlation, and it was analyzed that major satisfaction and nursing professionalism had a significant effect on clinical competency. Major satisfaction appeared to be the factor that had the greatest influence on clinical competency, and the explanatory power of the model was 51.9%. As a result of the study, in order to strengthen the clinical performance ability of nursing students, it is suggested to develop a nursing curriculum that can increase the major satisfaction.

        타자윤리적 그림책을 활용한 감성의 도덕교육 프로그램 개발 및 유아의 인성 변화 분석

        본 연구의 목적은 타자윤리적 그림책을 활용한 감성의 도덕교육 프로그램을 개발하고 이를 적용하여 유아의 인성 변화를 알아보는 것이다. 본 프로그램은 타자윤리적 그림책과 인성덕목을 연계한 교육내용과 교수-학습 단계에 따라 감성의 도덕교육 프로그램을 개발하여 구성하였다. D시에 위치한 I유치원 만 5세반 유아 20명에게 개발된 본 프로그램을 8주간 총 32회에 실시하였다. 유아의 인성 변화를 알아보기 위하여 토론활동 결과물과 창의적 극본을 질적 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아들은 타인의 정서와 생각을 공감하여 자기중심적 관점에서 타자중심적 관점으로 변화하였다. 둘째, 유아들은 타자의 고통을 자신의 것으로 받아들이고 외적 보상을 기대하지 않고 적극적으로 도와주는 친사회적 행동을 하였다. 셋째, 활동이 거듭될수록 유아들의 공감과 친사회적 행동은 상호보완적으로 변화하였다. 본 연구결과를 통하여 유아기 도덕교육에 있어 감성적 접근 가능성에 대한 발견은 의미가 있다고 여겨진다. The purpose of this study was to develop an affective moral education program using picture books based on ethics for the other and to investigate the change in young children's humanity. This program was developed and consisted of a moral education program based on affect according to the teaching contents and the teaching-learning model linking humanity using picture books that focused on ethics and the morality of others. The 20 five-year-old children at I kindergarten in D city participated in the program for 32 times over 8 weeks. Qualitative analysis was carried out by analyzing the products of discussion and transcripts in this group’s activities. The results of this study were as follows. First, young children gradually changed from the egocentric viewpoint to the other-oriented centered viewpoint by empathizing with the emotions and thoughts of others. Second, young children acting prosocial behavior were able to empathize with others and actively support each other without expecting external reward. Third, young children’s empathy and prosocial behaviors had changed complementarily as the activities progressed. Through these results from this study, it is suggested that an effective approach on moral education for young children need to be found.

        최치원의 「격황소서(檄黃巢書)」에서 전쟁과 회유의 수사학 읽기

        Gyeog Hwangso Seo is a war declaration writen by Choi, Chiwon on behalf of Gobyeon. Although it was writen in the popular Byeonryeonmun style of writng, it was evaluated as a beautiful writng style text and later became an example of how to write a declaration. In this article, I use rhetorical persuasion strategies to analyze Gyeog Hwangso Seo’s rhetoric of apeasement. The proces of persuasion for apeasement is analyzed based on its organization (begining of apeasement, creating anxiety for apeasement, authentic apeasement and completion of apeasement). As a tol for apeasement, he frequently used the contrastive method and the topos analogy to create anxiety and to increase persuasion. In the proces, ethos and pathos were properly used. Based on the premise of topos (precedent and exemplar), the rhetorical persuasion is wel expresed through the use of an ilustrative method that leads to present and future results. Therefore, the analysi or reading of Gyeog Hwangso Seo from the perspective of the rhetoric of apeasement does not reduce its value or signifcance. 격황소서」는 최치원이 고변을 대신하여 황소에게 쓴 격서이다. 당시 유행하던 변려문체로 작성되었지만 격서의 모범을 따랐기 때문에 이후 격서의 전범이 되었으며 미문의 글로 평가받고 있다. 본 글에서는 「격황소서」를 회유의 수사학으로 읽으려고 한다. 격서가 적군에게 선전포고를 하면서 회유를 권하여 항복을 얻는다는 점에서 회유의 수사학으로 분석하기에 부족함이 없다. 회유를 위한 단계별 과정은 배열중심(들머리, 얼거리, 벼리, 마무리)으로 살펴보았으며, 그 과정에서 드러나는 표현은 두려움과 공포심을 주기위해 대조와 말터을 활용한 비유법으로 회유의 절정을 이룬다. 또한 전고의 말터를 전제로 하여 현재와 미래의 결과를 이끌어내는 예증법의 사용으로 격서와 수사학의 설득 전략이 여기에 그 접점이 있음을 확인했다. 그러므로 격서를 회유의 수사학으로 분석하거나 읽어도 손색이 없다. 향후 또 다른 격서를 수사학의 설득 전략에 맞추어 분석하여 이 부분의 가치가 검증되기를 기대해 본다.

        A web-based program life-cycle management(PLM) system is introduced to implement the system engineering processes and to provide the development teaceability online. This information system aims for the realization of essential system engineering management techniques currently applied to the space launch system development program including management of configuration and data based on the work breakdown structure(WBS), WBS, bill of materials and properties. The system enhances communication and gives access to the development data with relevant information such as data-to-data relation and approval status/history through the web, and preserve all of the development data throughout the program life-cycle. Further improvement of the system is planned to implement the program managrment pricesses and to provide integrated information useful for the programmatic decision making.
