Design education should be organized to foster problem-solving capabilities. To maximize efficiency of education, it is needed to devise a instructional strategy that induces the following terms; clarification and specification of educational goal, adjustment of difficulty level, induction of creative problem-solving. Establishment of design projects should consider instructional strategies as follows ; ·Educational goal of each design projects should be defined in terms of problem solving capability, the factors of which are problem definition, concept establishment, space composition and form composition. ·Difficulty levels should be adjusted to fit the ability of the learner, which is possible by adjusting the problem space. ·Creativity of the learner can be fostered by motivation and encoded basic knowledge related to the design projects.
문자열 빈도 정보를 이용한 MS 윈도우 실행파일의 효과적인 분류기법

In order to filter and block illegal software efficiently, software classification is employed. In this paper, we propose a new software classification scheme that effectively categorizes Microsoft Windows executable files using frequency information of strings. The proposed scheme first extracts strings from the .text, .data, .rdata, and .rsrc sections of each Windows executable, and then computes and maintains a score table of the strings by combining Local Document Frequency (LDF), Inverse Document Frequency (IDF), and Inverse Category Frequency (ICF). If a suspicious program (Windows executable) got useful string information, we calculate scores of the strings in the suspicious program based on the score table of strings of each category, sums up the scores, and obtains a total score per each category. Finally, we classify the suspicious program into a specific category which represents the highest total score. For verifying the effectiveness of the proposed scheme, we perform experiments with nine categories and 55 programs each category. The experimental results show that about 75% of the 495 executables are correctly classified.

As lean principles have been shown to be one of the most effective to get competitive advantages in manufacturing, almost every enterprise tries to apply lean principles in all functional departments. Although various quantitative and qualitative measures are used to assess the effectiveness of lean implementation in each functional department, a single composite measure would assist management in evaluating the leanness level of entire organization. In this paper, we develop a method to calculate a single integrated leanness index by integrating the every quantitative and qualitative lean measures used in various departments of an enterprise. This method takes into account the relative importance of each measure by pairwise comparison, and uses fuzzy logic to consider the fuzziness of lean attainment shown by each measure. The derived integrated index will make it easier to determine leanness level of a single organization as a whole and will facilitate comparison of lean achievement between different organizations. The developed procedure is applied on the case of a previously published paper (Cho et al. [3]) to show an example of calculating process.

This study was performed to clarify the mechanism of clicking sound and locking on temporomandibular joint and to determine the radiographic findings of them by using computed tomogram. Through the preliminary study with cadavers, the proper scanning condition and the correlatonship between the anatomy of cadaver and computed tomogram had been determined. The subjects were consisted of 10 controls and 16 patients having clicking sound or locking on temporomandibular joint. By using Hitachi-W500 as computed tomographic device, direct axial views and sagittal views reformed according to the changes in window setting and using the non-linear fraction were taken and analyzed by visual method and measuring the attenuation numbers. The obtained results were as follows: 1. The density of the anterior band of meniscus showed isodense to the surrounding muscles in normal. 2. In patient group, affected side showed increased radiopaque area anterior to condyle and underneath articular eminence as the feature of anteriorly displaced meniscus on axial and sagittal views. 3. In patient group, the condyle was rotated postero-laterally in affected side. 4. Non-linear fraction highlightened the feature of anteriorly displaced meniscus.
Subcorneal Pustular Dermatosis Successfully Treated with Acitretin in a Dog

Subcorneal pustular dermatosis (SPD) is a rare pustular skin disorder of dogs. Dapsone is treatment of choice, but ineffective in some cases. Therapeutic alternatives are limited and less effective. In humans, successful results with oral retinoid have been reported. To describe successful treatment of a dog that developed SPD with acitretin as an alternative drug of dapsone. A 7-year-old male neutered miniature schnauzer was presented with generalized pustules and crusts. SPD was diagnosed based on physical, cytological, and histopathological examination with direct immunofluorescence test. In this report, we describe a case of canine SPD treated initially by dapsone with poor response that improved with acitretin. Acitretin could be considered as an alternative drug in canine SPD.
