        과도한 치아 마모 환자의 수직 교합 고경 증가를 동반한 지르코니아 고정성 보철물 전악 수복 증례

        구강의 교합 재건의 관점에서 광범위한 치아 마모의 치료는 보철학적인 접근이 필요하다. 생리적인 치아의 마모는 정상적인 과정으로 간주되어 일반적으로 치료가 필요하지 않으나 과도한 치아의 마모는 부적절하고 불안정한 교합상태, 심미성의 감소, 저작 기능의 저하 등의 문제를 발생시켜 보철적인 수복을 필요로 한다. 마모된 치아의 전악 구강 회복 시 수직 교합 고경의 변화는 정확한 진단 및 분석을 통하여 이루어져야 하고 변화된 수직 교합 고경에 대한 환자의 적응 여부를 일정기간 평가하여야 한다. 본 증례는 60세 남성 환자로 전체적인 치아의 심한 마모로 인해 저작 기능과 심미성의 감소를 주소로 내원하였으며 수직 교합 고경의 증가를 동반한 치아 지지 고정성 보철물로 전악 구강 수복을 시행하였다. 증가된 수직 교합 고경의 적응 여부를 평가하고 안정된 하악위를 유도하기 위해 교합안정장치를 사용하였고, 임시 보철물을 사용하여 증가된 수직 교합 고경과 교합상태에 대한 적응을 평가하였다. 이후 단일구조 지르코니아 보철물을 제작하여 최종 접착하였고, 만족스러운 기능의 회복과 심미성을 보였기에 보고하는 바이다. From the point of view of oral rehabilitation, the treatment of extensive tooth wear requires a prosthetic approach. Physiological tooth wear is considered as a normal process and generally does not require treatment, but excessive tooth wear causes problems like inadequate occlusion and esthetics. Changes of occlusal vertical dimension should be made through accurate diagnosis and analysis. Also, the patient's adaptation to the changed occlusal vertical dimension should be assessed over time. This case was a 60-year-old male patient who complained of a decrease in chewing function and esthetics due to severe tooth wear. Full-mouth rehabilitation was performed with a tooth supported fixed prosthesis. An occlusal stabilization splint and provisional restoration were used to evaluate the adaptation to increased occlusal vertical dimension and induce a stable centric relation position. After that, monolithic zirconia prosthesis was delivered. We report this as a satisfactory functional recovery and esthetics.

        시니어 에어로빅스가 고령자의 우울 및 고독감에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of the study was to explore the effects of regular exercise on negative emotion such as depression and loneliness present the evidence that regular exercise can prevent and delay aging, The subjects of the study consisted of 35 old adults over 65 years in In-Cheon areas. The survey methods of this research are the Self-rating Depression Scale(20 item) by Zung(1965) translated standardized by Yook, Young-Sook(1994) and the 5 Likert Scale modified the UCLA Loneliness Scale(10 item) by Won, Hyung-Joong(1984). The used statistical methods for the data analysis were mean, SD, relative frequency, Paired Samples t-test analysis. The results obtained by the appropriate analytic processes were followed. First, depression were lower in post-exercise(M=2.07) than pre-exercise(M=1.47). Second, loneliness were higher in post-exercise(M=3.85) than pre-exercise(M=4.53).

      • Fatigue Characteristics of Bearing Steel in Giga Cycles

        Fatigue tests were carried out to find the fatigue characteristics of a super-long life range by using a cantilever type rotational bending fatigue test machine using the three kinds of specimens in bearing steel which were quenched and tempered in air (A: non-shot peened and B: shot peened after heat treatment) and under vacuum environment(C: non-shot peened) in this study. S-N curves obtained from the fatigue tests of the B and C specimens tend to come down again in the super-long life range due to fish-eye type cracking, while most of the A and B specimens were fractured by surface defects such as scratches and slip lines. This duplex S-N behavior of bearing steel has to be reviewed by the change of the fracture modes.

      • A quality control method by ultrasonic vibration energy and diagnosis system at trimming process

        In this paper, the mechanical characteristics of ultrasonic cold forged technology (UCFT) used for the trimming knife and the effects of ultrasonic vibration energy (UVE) into the trimming process on the state of the strip cutting face were studied. A diagnosis system to quality control for trimming knife and strip cutting face was developed and installed in plant. By the plant application of UCFT, service life of knife was more increased over 100% than that of conventional knife. And using the developed diagnosis system, the knife breakage and saw ear have been perfectly detected and quality control of trimming face is obtained effectively.

        Production of siderophore from L-glutamic acid as both carbon and nitrogen sole sources in Acinetobacter sp. B-W

        포도당과 글루탐산을 함유한 배지에서 시드로포어인 2, 3-dihydroxybenzoic acid (DHB)를 생산하는 Acinetobacter sp. B-W 균주를 글루탐산을 유일한 탄소원과 질소원으로 함유한 배지에 배양한 결과, 상등액에서 2, 3-DHB가 아닌 카테콜 형의 시드로포어를 생산하는 것으로 조사되었다. 글루탐산의 농도는 3%에서 시드로포어 생산이 최고로 나타났으며, 3% 보다 높은 농도에서는 감소하는 것으로 조사되었다. 글루탐산을 유일한 탄소원과 질소원으로 함유한 배지에서 자란 균주 B-W는 배양 온도 $28^{\circ}C$에서는 시드로포어를 생산하지만 $36^{\circ}C$에서는 생산하지 않았다. 또한 $10{\mu}M\;FeCl_3$를첨가한 배지에서는 시드로포어 생산이 완전히 억제되었다. 글루탐산 배지에서 생산된 균주 B-W의 시드로포어는 TLC 전개 용매 butanol: acetic acid: water =12:3:5에서 Rf치가 0.32로 나타나 Rf치가 0.82인 2, 3-DHB와는 다른 것으로 조사되었으며, 또한 항산화 활성도 없는 것으로 나타나 항산화 활성을 가진 2, 3-DHB와는 다른 시드로포어인 것으로 추정되었다. Catechol type siderophore different from 2, 3-dihydroxybenzoic acid (DHB) was produced from Acinetobacter sp. B-W grown in medium containing L-glutamic acid as both carbon and nitrogen sole sources at $28^{\circ}C$. Optimal concentration of glutamic acid for siderophore production was 3% and production of siderophore was decreased above 3% glutamic acid. In previous report, siderophore, 2, 3-DHB was produced from strain B-W grown in medium containing glucose as carbon source and glutamic acid as nitrogen source. Rf value of siderophore produced from strain B-W grown in medium glutamic acid as both carbon and nitrogen sole sources at $28^{\circ}C$ was 0.32, while 2, 3-DHB was 0.84 in butanol-acetic acid-water (12:3:5) as developing solvent. Antioxidative activity of 2, 3-DHB was not detected in that siderophore produced from glutamic acid. Catechol nature of siderophore was detected by Arnow test. Although in iron-limited media optimal cell growth was identified at $36^{\circ}C$, significant quantities of siderophore were produced only at $28^{\circ}C$. Biosynthesis of siderophore was strongly inhibited by growth at $36^{\circ}C$. Production of siderophore was completely inhibited by $10{\mu}M\;FeCl_3$.

        자동차용 엔진 마운트의 피로거동에 관한 연구

        In this study, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) was used to decide three kinds of material property of vibration proof rubber with the unique characteristic of non-linear and large deformation. As well, three types of hardness (Hs 50, 55, 60) were compared with the result of fatigue tests, fatigue life was able to be predicted. The request for fatigue life becomes strict more and more as increasing stress under conditions like a compaction, high load and high temperature for parts because it is main characteristics of rubber mount for automotive. Regarding to the fatigue life under dynamic deformation condition, it can be predicted as checking forced deformation extends and its frequency and its strain-life curve. As for material property tests of uniaxial tension test, uniaxial compression test, pure shear test, Ogden model was used far FEA by observing relations between stress and strain's rate as curve fitting. As a result of FEA, fatigue life for rubber mount was predicted and accorded well with the experimental data of fatigue test with hourglass specimens. In addition, its property of the predictable fatigue life method suggested in this study was accorded well with the experimental data by comparing the predicted fatigue life of FEA with the result of fatigue test for rubber component of engine rubber mount.

      • 性別 및 年齡에 따른 體格과 體力의 特性과 變化에 關한 縱斷的 硏究Ⅱ : Emphasised on College Men of Department of Physical Education 體育專功 大學生을 中心으로

        The purpose of this study was to compare the characteristics, change in physique and physical function of college students majoring physical education and Taekwondo (454 males and 64 females of age groups ranging from 18 to 26). The results are as following: 1. The male group of 23yrs old in physical education showed highest values in 7 items(Weight, Chest Girth, Fore Arm Girth, Thigh Girth, Calf Girth, Scapular Skinfold Thickness and Suprailiac Skinfold Thickness). 2. In the Physical function, the male group of 18yrs old showed highest values in Power, Flexibility, and then 21yrs old at Back Strength, Vital Capacity, and 23yrs old at Grip Strength, and 25yrs old at Blood Pressure, respectively. 3. In the physique, the male group of 22yrs old showed highest values in Weight, Chest Girth, Thigh Girth, Calf Girth, and then 24yrs old Upper Arm Girth, Fore Arm Girth, and 19yrs old at Height, Upper Limb Length, respectively. 4. In Physical Function, the 22yrs old showed highest values in Back Strength, Vital Capacity, and then 23yrs old at Side Step, Trunk Extension, but 18yrs old showed lower Values in Grip Strength, Side Step, Vital Capacity and Blood Pressure. 5. The female group of 22yrs old showed highest values in 8 items(Height, Sitting Height, Waist Girth, Upper Limb Length, Lower Limb Length, Skinfold Thickness), and then 18yrs old at 5 items (Weight, Upper Arm Girth, Fore Arm Girth, Thigh Girth, Calf Girth), respectively. 6. In the physical function, the 22yrs old showed highest Values in Grip strength, Back Strength, Power, 5 Minute Run, and 18yrs old at flexibility, Harvard Step Test, respectively. 7. In the change of the physique for two years(1988-1989) in the male group, majoring Physical education the 22yrs old showed increase in 4 items, and the 20yrs old in 3 items, but 18yrs old showed decrease in 3 items. 8. In the change of the physical function for two years in the male group, the 20yrs old showed increase in 4 items, and the 21, 25, 26yrs old in 3 items, but the 19yrs old showed decrease in 6 items, and 18, 22 yrs old in 5 items, respectively. 9. The change of the physique for two years in all female group, of 18, 19, 20, 21yrs old showed increase in 11 items except Skinfold Thickness. 10. In the change of physical function for two years in female group, the 18yrs old showed increase in 3 items, and then 20yrs old in 5 items, but 19, 22yrs old decreased 12 items, respectively. 11. The highest significant difference in physique between male and female was found in weight(mean Value 17.5%), and the lowest difference was found Thigh Girth, Calf Girth(1,3%), Upper Limb Length, Lower Limb Length(2.5%). 12. The Highest difference in physical function was Strength (mean Value 40%), Vital Capacity (33%), Power(22%), but Lower Trunk Flexion, Foot Balance(3.4%). 13. In the difference of Physique and physical function between physical education major and taekwondo major, the physical education showed higher values in skinfold Thickines (mean Value 16.5%), Weight, Waist Girth(4.7%) and Strength(33%), Endurance(5.6%), but subjects majoring Taekwondo showed higher values in Flexibility and Foot Balance. 14. In all male groups, Waist Girth, Scapular Skinfold Thickness, Back Strength, Sargent Jump, Trunk Extension and Diastolic Blood Pressure were showed a significantly related at 0.001 level.
