      • 알칼라인 수전해용 Raney Ni-Zn-Fe 전극의 도금 변수에 따른 산소발생반응 특성

        알칼라인 수전해는 낮은 전류밀도에서 작동할 수 있고 대형화가 용이하여 신재생에너지와 연계할 수 있는 수전해로 각광받고 있다. 물의 전기분해를 위해서는 반응의 활성화 에너지를 초과하는 전압을 필요하다. 전극 소재에 따라 이론 전압보다 높은 과전압이 발생하기 때문에 효율적인 수소 생산을 위해서는 과전압이 낮은 전극을 제조하는 것이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 과전압이 낮은 전극을 제조하기 위하여 도금욕의 Fe 함량과 도금 시 전류 밀도를 변화시켰다. 표면적이 넓은 Nickel Foam을 지지체로 사용하였으며 Watt’s bath를 기반으로 전극을 제조하였다. 전극의 특성을 확인하기 위하여 물리화학적, 전기화학적 분석을 수행하였다. 도금욕의 Ni:Fe 함량을 여러가지 비율로 살펴본 결과, 전극의 Fe 함량이 증가함에 따라 전극의 과전압이 전체적으로 감소하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

      • 직렬 로봇 매니퓰레이터의 강인제어

        본 연구에서는 매우 복잡한 비선형 운동을 하는 로봇을 정밀하게 제어하기 위하여 강인 제어기를 제안한다. 설계된 강인제어기는 로봇의 복잡한 동적 모델이나 변수 등을 사용하지 않기 때문에 계산량이 작다. 동적 모델이나 변수 대신에 직렬 로봇의 특성을 이용하여 구한 운동의 한계를 이용한다. 제안된 제어기의 안정성은 리아푸노프(Lyapunov) 이론을 이용하여 증명하고, 전산모의 실험으로 제어계의 안정함과 제어기의 제적 추적 성능이 우수함을 보인다. In this paper, a robust controller is porposed to control a robot manipulator which is governed by highly nonlinear dynamic equations. The controller is computationally efficient since it does not require the dynamic model or parameter values of a robot manipulator. It, however, requires uncertainty bounds which are derived by using properties of serial link robot dynamics. The stability of the robot with the controller is proved by Lyapunov theory. The results of computer simulations show that the robot system is stable, and has excellent trajectory tracking performance.

        젖소 17두의 주목나무 독성 중독

        We found seventeen dairy cattle with the abnormal signs in cardiovascular and gastrointestinal systems after feeding of the yew foilage. Among them three cattle were dead due to yew poisoning. Among the remaining fourteen dairy cattle, four cattle showed similar symptoms as did dead cattle. Although the remaining ten dairy cattle did not show any abnormal signs, we conducted a therapy of forced magnesium sulfate infusion because the yew consumption might have been occurred in all cattle. As a result of the therapy, we could not found further signs of yew poisoning. The performance of the therapy and the treatment procedures adapted by the therapy could be concluded as follows: The cardioselective toxicity and inhibition of peristaltic activity by the taxine in yew foilage might be involved in the symptoms of acute poisoning as anorexia, dullness, muscle tremor, dyspnea, and sudden death. We also performed the dose response relationship of taxine to the range of clinical symptoms and examined recovery performances. Through the autopsy of the cattle, we could confirm the presence of yew foilages that might have caused the poisoning in the gastrointestinal tract. However, we could not identify further abnormalities in other organs. In this case report, we demonstrated that practice of the forced magnesium sulfate infusion in yew poisoning was helpful for the attenuating the taxine poisoning by blocking the further proceeding of the toxic effect.

        돼지감자분말을 첨가한 도토리묵의 제조 및 품질평가

        This study examined the quality characteristics to evaluate the optimal mixing ratio of a Jerusalem artichoke powder (among 0%, 2%, 4%, and 6%) in Acorn Muk. The moisture contents of a Acorn Muk increased significantly (76.13~84.01%) with increasing amount of Jerusalem artichoke powder. The a and b values of the Hunter's color value decreased significantly in proportion to the amount of Jerusalem artichoke powder. In the physical properties, the hardness, chewiness and springiness of Acorn Muk decreased significantly and the cohesiveness of Acorn Muk increased significantly in proportion to the amount of Jerusalem artichoke powder. The total polyphenol contents(22.37~26.35 mg/mL), DPPH free radical scavenging activities(9.58~15.13%) and ABTS free radical scavenging activities(61.23~79.33%) of Acorn Muk increased significantly in groups of Jerusalem artichoke powder. The Acorn Muk containing 4% Jerusalem artichoke powder showed a high score with regard to flavor, moistness, chewiness and overall acceptance. These results suggest that the appropriate amount of Jerusalem artichoke powder for making Acorn Muk is 4%. This study indicate that Acorn Muk treated with Jerusalem artichoke powder had the highest functional component and antioxidant activity.

        The Relationship between Higher-order Aberrations and Amblyopia Treatment in Hyperopic Anisometropic Amblyopia

        Purpose: To investigate the relationship between higher-order aberrations (HOAs) and amblyopia treatment inchildren with hyperopic anisometropic amblyopia. Methods: The medical records of hyperopic amblyopia patients with both spherical anisometropia of 1.00 diopter(D) or more and astigmatic anisometropia of less than 1.00 D were reviewed retrospectively. Based on theresults of the amblyopia treatment, patients were divided into two groups: treatment successes and failures. Using the degree of spherical anisometropia, subjects were categorized into mild, moderate, or severe groups. Ocular, corneal, and internal HOAs were measured using a KR-1W aberrometer at the initial visit, and at3-month, 6-month, and 12-month follow-ups. Results: The results of the 45 (21 males and 24 females) hyperopic anisometropic amblyopia patients whocompleted the 12-month follow-up examinations were analyzed. The mean patient age at the initial visit was70.3 months. In total, 28 patients (62.2%) had successful amblyopia treatments and 17 patients (37.8%) failedtreatment after 12 months. Among the patient population, 24 (53.3%) had mild hyperopic anisometropia and 21(46.7%) had moderate hyperopic anisometropia. When comparing the two groups (i.e., the success and failuregroups), ocular spherical aberrations and internal spherical aberrations in the amblyopic eyes were significantlyhigher in the failure group at every follow-up point. There were no significant differences in any of the HOAsbetween mild and moderate cases of hyperopic anisometropia at any follow-up. When the amblyopic and felloweyes were compared between the groups there were no significant differences in any of the HOAs. Conclusions: HOAs, particularly ocular spherical aberrations and internal spherical aberrations, should be consideredas reasons for failed amblyopia treatment.

        A Comprehensive Review of Smart City Studies focusing on Research Fields, Purpose, and Methods

        This study is attempted to identify the trends of smart city studies in various disciplines by conducting meta-analysis. Data collection was used research information sharing service which is the largest academic research information service in Korea and the analysis focused on the academic background, research purpose, and methods of smart city studies. The results of this study are as follows. First of all, the ‘Society’ was the most studied field of smart city studies and followed by ‘Human Science and Technology’, ‘Artifact’ and ‘Human’. These results show that smart city is widely accepted in the fields of science technology, humanities and social sciences, and most of the studies are integrating various academic fields. Next, it could be confirmed that the purpose of smart city research was mostly for practical purpose and various methodological approaches have not yet been attempted in terms of research methodology. These results can be interpreted as the fact that the smart city of Korea is performed by the government or local government and smart city research is still in its early stage. Finally, limitations and future direction of research were discussed.
